Ok folks! This is the time you have been waiting for... The last chapter of the story! I shall not keep you waiting any longer.

Time skip: a few days later

Lucy pov

"Oh my god... Your eyes are so pretty!" Lisanna squealed. I look weirdly at them. I don't get it. They were supposed to compliment me on my strength. Not looks. I don't even know why I was here. Lisanna, Mirajane, Cana and Levy sat in a circle, surrounding me. I did not know how to reply to their comment. One thing led to another, and we lcame upon the topic of Zeref. "So...are you dating him or not?" Mira asked. I felt heat rush up to my cheeks, but I remained calm. "Your dating ZEREF?! *hic* I thought you guys broke up *hic* when he killed your *hic* dad?" Cana drunkenly said. "Wha-what do you mean Cana?" Mira worriedly asked. She casted a glance at Levy and her sister. "I *hic* thought thad *hic* zerrrrrf only *hic* came to vizzzit you and Acnologia cuz... *hic* to take care ov him?" Cana drunkenly explained. Then it dawned on me. Zeref was supposed to take care of Acnologia during hibernation month. As my brain sunk in Cana's words, I felt the familiar rush anger. I growled angrily and excused myself. He was going to pay

Zeref pov

"ZEREF!" I heard Lucy scream. A second later, she burst through my door. "You did this didn't you..?" She shouted. "You killed daddy!"

"...Lucy, let me explain..." I said softly, but she shook her head. A tear escaped from her left eye. " You were supposed to watch daddy... To keep him from harm... But you left him to die!" Her words stung my heart. "It's all your fault! IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" Lucy screamed and collapsed on my chest, her hands balled up into fists. I immediately hugged her, comforting her. Her sobs were wrecking her slender frame, tears soaking the front of my shirt. "I hate you..." I heard her whisper. " I HATE YOU!"

She pushed herself away from me, before looking at me with those sorrowful brown eyes, before a sob escape her mouth. She spun on her heel sprinting away. In my whole immortal life, I have never felt so alone. So empty. As the blond mage left my arms, i steeled my resolve. I was going to repare this somehow. I racked my brains for spells, but my ever perfect memory failed on me. I had to ask Grandeeny for help. It was my last choice. Acnologia... I'm so sorry. I won't be able to take care of your daughter anymore. I know what I have to do.

Timeskip: A day later.

Lucy pov

The sudden surge of magic power woke me from my slumber. I blinked my puffy eyes, trying to adjust to the light streaming in my window. I had cried myself to sleep, all the memories of Acnologia kept flashing back at my eyes. I felt the tears well up in my eyes, threatening to fall. But I had to find out who was that who casted such a powerful spell. Even I couldn't pull it off. It must have been Acnologia or Zeref. And Acnologia was dead. It had to be Zeref. I had a quick shower and quickly throw on my battle outfit and rushed out. To have such a powerful spell cast, ment something big was going to happen. I could already feel it.

I burst out of my house and raced towards the source of magic. The magic came from the cliff where Acnologia died. There, stood a slim, tiny figure my brain recognized as Zeref. As I neared him, I saw five magic circles. He was chanting something in Latin. The forgotten language. A sudden gust of wind blew, almost throwing me off balance. "Zeref!" I frantically yelled. But he didn't hear me. I couldn't even hear myself over the howling wind. There was a sudden burst of light, and everything became silent.

A sudden sudden screech deafened my ears as a big, beautiful phonix came rising out. It reared its beautiful head and look straight at me. It's gaze then shifted to Zeref standing at the cliff's edge. They stared intensly into each others eyes, as if telepathically commuticating. It's attention then shifted to the big black dragon. With a caw, it shot a large swirling ball of fire at Acnologia. Before my eyes, I saw all the wounds and injuries on Acnologia close up.

Finally, he opened his eyes. I immediately let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. Father was alive. Acnologia was alive. My thoughts was interrupted by another screech by the phonix. As the fire flickering on its body consumed itself, it disappeared in ash. The big magestic bird was reduced into a pile of ask. I ran towards Zeref's, shouting his name. He held out hisstands towards me, and I tackled him, hugging him tightly. "sh..." The black Mage whispered as he kissed my lips gently. I swear, I saw stars. But he then ended the kiss way too soomer than I liked. "Zeref...?" I whispered, as I saw the sadness in his eyes. Something was wrong.

Normal pov

"Lucy... Listen... The spell that I just did to revive your father took a lot out of me. I might not have enough time left. In my whole immortal life... I had been lost. I did not know what I had left to live for. But you gave me the purpose to live. I would gladly relive my childhood, just to see you happy again. Remember, Lucy. You are the dragon slayer of death. Death is your gift, use it wisely. Perhaps, I shall see you in another life. Goodbye, Lucy Heartfila." With that, Zeref, the greatest mage, took a step back. He tilted his head slightly and gave a little smile, before sowly, fading into black ash, specked with golden flakes.

A tear drop streaked down her porcelain face.

"Goodbye... Zeref."

Thats the ending I guess. I would be writing a sequel a that will come out...probably a few days later. I would love it if you gave me some suggestions for the guild I will be creating for the next sequel. Please comment in this format:
