Toga walked through the villa quickly back to the packs room. It almost made him sad to see the room only containing three of the pack members. He would have to pull rank soon and force Rin and Shippo back in to the safety of the packs room. He understood why Rin wished to stay with her father but it was doing more harm than good at this point. Until the beast decided to release him Sesshomaru would remain in his current state.

Walking to the other side of the bed he crawled in as gently as his big size would allow, Aoihi had taken up behind Kagome and so Toga crawled in behind Kohoku his hand reaching Kagome he pulled them both closer to his chest and sighed contently as sleep took him.

The next morning greeted the pack early Aoihi woke first noticing that the other two alphas still slept he poked Kohaku in the ribs once to get the boys attention. When the boy sat up startled Aoihi pressed a finger to his lips and pointed at the end of the bed. Getting the hint rather quickly the boy got up and crawled to the end of the bed. A light smile made it to his face as Kagome curled up to Toga in his place after a soft whine.

Aoihi joined Kohaku at the foot of the bed and put an arm around his shoulders watching the other two alphas with a strangely content smile on his face. Nodding more to himself than anything he began to lead Kohaku out to the hall. Once the door to the room was closed once more he spoke in low tones "Would you like to help me get breakfast ready for the pack?"

Kohaku covered his mouth as a large yawn escaped him and nodded to Aoihi. "Go get Shippo up for me I'm sure he would like to join us in hunting." Aoihi asked with a smile.

Kohaku nodded and returned his smile and made his way down the hall to where the other two pups were staying. Aoihi looked down the other hall while he wasn't fond of Inuyasha or Kikyo as he had admitted last night. Kagome accepted them and he would as well he just needed to get to know them he was sure. Making his way down the hall of their room he stopped and knocked. Hearing their voices from the inside knowing they were up aleaviated some of his guild for the early time.

Inuyasha looked up from kissing his mate to be as he heard the knock. The fox was sneaker than his old man was. Yasha hadnt notice him till a second before he knocked on the door. Sighing he went and slid the door open just enough to see the fox "Wacha want?" he asked gruffly.

Aoihi tipped his head to the side, must the boy always be so brash he wondered. "Well it's early and I was going to take the pups hunting for breakfast, I was wondering if you would like to join us" he stated politely.

Inuyasha started at him with widened eyes for a moment, then opened the door wider to look both ways and see if his father was out there as well. Aoihi's chuckle brought his eyes back to the fox.

"He isn't up yet just me and the pups" Aoihi said with a smile.

Inuyasha nodded "Ya, give me a second and I'll come with you guys" he said and turned back to Kikyo.

Kikyo met his concerned look with a smile "Go on Yasha I'll be fine, if Rin is up perhaps she would like to help me pick herbs for the meat you bring home" she said softly. She knew he was worried about her and about what happen last night, but she wouldn't let it detour her, not now. Inuyasha needed his father and pack while she was sure he could be a great alpha a part of her knew that was not what he wanted.

Inuyasha grunted once at her words and kissed her on the forehead "See you soon love" he whispered in to her hair.

A bright smile stole across her face at his words and she kissed him under his chin "Be save love" she whispered back to him.

She watched as both males left the room and let out a sigh. Pulling her hair back in to a low pony tail she stood up and took a deep cleansing breath. Let the day begin she thought with a smile and walked out of the room as well.

Kikyo walked at a steady pace to the kitchen hoping that young Rin would be there. It's not that she wouldn't go and get her if need be but she didn't want to disturb Sesshomaru if she could help it. Walking in to the dining area and not seeing the young girl she made her way back in to the kitchen. Still she could not find the young girl. With a light sigh she realized she would have to go to the room Sesshomaru was in and get the young one.

She made quick work of going back down the halls when she was at the room she thought Sesshomaru was in she knocked softly. When there wasn't an answer she slid the door open a crack to see Rin standing next to Sesshomaru's bed her back to the door.

Pushing the door open slightly wider Kikyo made her way inside and next to the girl. Looking down on Sesshomaru she noticed that he looked peaceful, and though he was human it really didn't take much of his regal air away from him. Even as a human he was still stunning and untouchable in her mind really the man was still the man.

Touching Rin's shoulder softly she looked to the girl as she looked up to her. Her eyes were watery and she was wiping her nose with the sleeve of her kimono. "Come sweetheart staying in this room will do you no good" Kikyo spoke softly.

Rin sniffled and looked down at her father figure once again but nodded to the older woman. She was so confused right now Kagome said he would wake up soon wasn't three days soon enough. She missed him terribly she wasn't mad at him anymore she wasn't even upset. She would give anything just to see his bright golden eyes open once more and look at her with love.

Rin felt a tug on her hand and looked again over to the older woman glancing once more at her father she followed behind Kikyo as she led her through the villa. "What are we going to do Kikyo-san?" Rin finally spoke.

Kikyo smiled down at the young girl, "Well the boys went to hunt I thought we could go pick herbs to season the meat with, Yasha and I found a little garden out back that I'm hoping it will still have some useable herbs left" she spoke softly. Rin nodded once more and squeezed Kikyo's hand slightly, taking a small measure of comfort from her.

Aoihi and Yasha met up with Shippo and Kohaku just outside the villa. Kohaku was wide awake and already stretching in preparation for the trek they would be taking to hunt. Shippo stood next to him stretching his arms above his head in an effort to wake up. While he was not fully asleep when Kohaku came in to the room, he had not slept the best as Rin kept waking to check if Sesshomaru had woken up yet. He sighed as his arms fell back to his side he would have to get her to cheer up soon it was starting to grate on his senses.

Aoihi walked up and put an arm around each pup "Ready for a fruitful hunt?" he asked in a jovial tone. Kohaku smirked and Shippo sighed, Yasha walked up to them "Bet I can catch the biggest deer" he boasted lightly.

Aoihi smirked "Is that a challenge Inuyasha?" he asked with a smirk.

"Keh, you're out of practice old fox I got this in the bag" Yasha bragged again.

A full laugh fell from Aoihi's lips "Well young ones let the game begin" he yelled as he took off at a dead run in to the surrounding forest.

Inuyasha's jaw dropped as the fox ran off he was only joking, looking to the two pups he was met with smirks on both faces. "Better get going if you're going to catch the biggest deer Inuyasha" Shippo taunted.

"Keh" Yasha said as he leapt off in to the forest behind the fox.

"Who do you think is going to win?" Kohaku asked as he watched both figures disappear.

"My dad of course" Shippo sing-songed "Well lets go get some fish im sure mom will like that this morning."

Kohaku nodded "Ill see if I can find any vegtables around the stream humans cant just live off meat like youkai can" he commented off hand.

Shippo hummed agreement looping his arm over the other boys shoulder as they carried on to the stream just a little ways from the villa.

Toga lay contently with his alpha female in his arms as he kept track of the auras of the rest of the pack milling about this morning. He hadn't been asleep when Aoihi and Kohaku left , but found himself grateful that Aoihi had left him with Kagome. Pushing his nose in to the crown of her hair once again he took a deep breath. While he loved smelling her scent mixed with emotions, he liked it best when she was just like this. Calm and relaxed the moon flower scent was so much deeper, not to mention his own lightning smell was easier to detect, he hummed contently to himself. The scent of both Aoihi and Sesshomaru were also slightly more noticeable, but oddly he didn't find it disturbing , the combined smell of all of them was rather pleasant on her.

Dragging himself from his thoughts he leaned back slightly to look at her face, he almost regretted having to wake her at seeing the content smile grace her lips. However they had things to discuss this morning, sitting up slightly Toga leaned over Kagome brushing his cheek to hers till his lips were just at the shell of her ear. Smirk coming to his lips Toga whispered "You must wake up Kagome" he purred lowly in her ear.

He couldn't help the smirk widening on his lips even if he had wanted to, as his breathy words crossed her ear he watched as goose bumps formed on her neck. Kagome shot up almost hitting the big Dai as she did. Hand quickly covering her newly assaulted ear, and blush staining her cheeks she stared wide eye at Toga. "Toga" she whined lightly not meeting his eyes.

Toga tried he really had but after he light whine he could help but laugh at her embarrassed face "I apologize little one" he said chuckle still very present in his voice.

Kagome glared at him playfully "Sure you do" she stated in obvious sarcasm.

Toga reached out brushing her hair behind her uncovered ear "Think of it as me getting even for your actions last night my little alpha" he said as he rolled out of bed.

Looking back at Kagome he saw her looking at him blankly, only reinforcing his thought that she did not know what her actions last night meant. Deciding to explain regardless of his own embarrassment he sighed. "You disciplined this one as an alpha would a pup last night" he said lowly. Almost wishing she would not hear him at all.

Kagome crawled closer to him on the bed "What was that?" she asked tipping her head curiously.

Toga let out a small growl turning his back fully to his now much closer alpha female. "You disciplined this one as an alpha would a pup Kagome" he repeated louder.

Kagome set back on her feet her hand covering her mouth to attempt to muffle her giggles. She hadn't known that is what she did but now that he mentioned it, it made scenes to her. In her mind his grumbling growl last night reminded her of pouting, like a child would when they didn't get what they wanted.

Pulling her hand from her mouth she reached out and put a hand on Toga's back, her giggles now more evident. She took a deep breath before she spoke, "I'm sorry Toga" she started.

Toga turned his head to look at her over his shoulder with a light glare. Her bright smiled proved just how sorry she wasn't about her actions. He huffed at her turning back to look at the wall in front of him.

Kagome out right laughed at is actions, crawling to the edge of the bed she stood up on her knees. Slowly she leaned up using her hand still on his back to balance herself, letting her chin rest on his shoulder she smiled as he relaxed slightly. Smirking to herself she quickly turned her head and once more nipped him on the ear.

Toga turned quickly with a light growl "Kagome" he said in a dark tone.

Kagome had quickly rolled across to the other side of the bed and had a shit eating grin on her lips. "Well my dear alpha, if you did not act like a pup I would not find it so fun to discipline you as one" she said tilting her head up like she was superior to him.

Toga smirked, Kagome knew she had just riled him a little too far. She had no more than as second to think when she saw him leap across the bed at her. Thinking quickly she dashed from the room, throwing the door open and running down the hall she knew the hot springs were in.

Toga's smirk turned in to a full smile as he landed on the other side of the bed aand watched Kagome dash out the door. He knew he could catch her without much effort, taking long strides he stepped out the door and looked down the hall just in time to see her look over her shoulder and laugh loudly. A soft growl left his throat as he gave chase.

Kagome took a quick glace over her shoulder as saw Toga in the bedroom door way realizing he was going to give chase she quickly looked back in front of her and put on some speed. She took a quick right and ran as hard as her body would allow her, seeing her goal at the end of the hall. A full smiled made it to her face just as she reached out to open the door. Her fingers grazed the door when she suddenly felt herself pulled back. She let out a small gasp "Damn" she breathed as she felt her back collide with a solid chest.

Kagome felt soft breaths on her ear, "Damn indeed love" Toga growled.
