Warning: Spoilers for the end of Half Blood Prince and beginning of Deathly Hallows. ArthurMolly, RemusTonks.

Tonks smiled, a horde of butterflies rising in her stomach and not for the first time that day. It could have been the peaceful serenity of the warm day outside- bluebirds flying swiftly from one tree to the next, a summer breeze gently rustling the leaves; it could have been the fact that in just a few simple hours she was going to see her best friend again for the first time in a year (and the last time she'd seen him he'd been more than a little drunk...) or it could've been the fact that just a week from today she was set to get married. Married.

"Tea?"

Molly Weasley's calm voice invaded her mind, causing her to blink.

"Yeah, thanks."

Tonks walked swiftly over to the kitchen table, taking the steaming cup into her hands and gently (well, gently for Tonks...) swirling the liquid inside, brow furrowed slightly in thought.

Call it a Mother's intuition but Molly had known there was something bothering the young auror since she set foot in the Burrow that afternoon.

"Something wrong dear?"

Molly watched as Tonks pressed her lips into a thin line in concentration, waiting patiently for the young woman to find the right words to convey her thoughts.

"Molly..." She began. "When you first saw Arthur... When- how did you know that he was... How did you know that your marriage was going to last? That you wanted to spend your whole lives with each other? That everything was going to be fine?"

The older woman smiled.

"Well, I wouldn't say everything is perfectly fine- not all of the time. We've had our fair share of arguments. But to answer your question... I just looked into his eyes. And I knew."

~OoO~

Remus frowned in confusion. He had been expecting his fiancé to approach him as she always did when he got home from a mission. He had not, however, expected her to, upon seeing him, simply pull his head down to her level and just... stare at him.

"What are you-"

"Shh! Hold still." She grumbled, tightening her grip on his head.

Tonks stared into his eyes- a very soft, light blue, rather serious but just with that hint of Marauder mischief...

And it was then that Tonks knew. Really, truly knew.

Quite suddenly her face broke into a massive smile and she wrapped her arms around him tightly, pressing her face against his chest.

"What was that all about?" He asked, voice a mixture of confusion and amusement.

"Nevermind..." she grinned and leaned up to kiss him before he could ask further.

A/N: Idk if anyone's even going to remember that I exist because I've been gone for a year but basically I found four completed oneshots on a memory stick so I decided to upload them because it's not like there's anything to lose.
