Okay, so I need so Hurt Comfort Following fics after that last episode. It was not okay and never will be okay. This takes place right after Welcome Home.

Ryan Hardy looked down at his fellow FBI agent. He kept listening to the sound of him breathing and the heart monitor beeping, making sure every moment he was still alive. He wouldn't lose anyone else to Joe's following. Especially not Mike. There was something about him Ryan wouldn't help but like, at first the kid was an annoying fanboy, but tonight he proved himself.

He knew the whole time.

It must have token everything he had not to give in. Ryan shook his head feeling guilty, maybe a little more than guilty. He felt responsible, like the kid's safety was his job. And lying in the hospital bed Mike did look like a kid. Ryan kicked himself for letting this happen. Mike was just a kid, young and ambitious following him around all the time. The only reason Joe knew about Mike was because he kept following me around, Ryan thought to himself. He just looking at the kid, studying him over to make sure everything would be okay. The browses and marks would heal. He was going to be okay. Ryan just needed to keep thinking that. He was going to be okay.

Suddenly Mike let out a slight cough. Ryan sat up in his chair, his sight locked on the younger agent. Mike's blue eyes fluttered open. His eyes roamed the room as he let out a slight moan. Rolling his head to side his breath grew heavy his chest pounding under the sheets.

"W-whe-where I am?" He breathed out his eyes still scanning the ceiling and his breath turning to panting.

Ryan stood up from the chair placed his hand on Mike's shoulder to try to calm him down. "You're at the hospital. Breath, try to relax, it's me, Hardy." Hardy watched as Mike's breathing calmed down. He kept his eyes locked on him making sure he was okay. Mike's eyes, on the other hand, were still going around the room as though he was still unsure on where he was.

"I didn't tell them," Mike barley said.

"I know."

"I wanted to," Mike said finally making eye contact with Ryan who was caught off guard by what Mike said. "It hurt so bad, I just w-wanted to…tell them to make it stop, but I-I didn't. I did-didn't want to let you down, Ryan." Mike began to pant again trying his hardest to stay awake although he could feel darkness crawling back into his mind. "Never…want-t-ted to let you…," Mike closed his eyes and fell back asleep.

Ryan let out a sad sigh shaking his head. He couldn't believe the boy held on for him. He nearly died to keep his trust. Ryan placed his hand on Mike's forehead then rubbed his head, like parents do when their kids are sick. He kept his hand on his head slowly rubbing his forehead with his thumb, hoping it would remind Mike that he was there. Ryan needed Mike to know he was there by his side and that he wasn't leaving. The kid almost died just to make sure he didn't hate him.

"You didn't let me down Mike, you never could." Ryan glanced outside the room. The other FBI guarding the room obviously wasn't paying attention. "I'm proud of you buddy."

Okay, so I wrote that really quick so there may be some mistakes. I like Following fics, I might keep making some. All Mike Ryan feels of course. We'll see.
