All Iz Well

Soft whispered disturbed the light sleep Tracey was under. Glancing at the table, she wasn't wasting time to check the time, but rather the speaker that the whispers were coming out of. It wasn't a song, yet the deeper cadence in the whispers was bringing a smile to her lips.

Pushing the duvet off of her, she got out of bed, traipsing barefoot, in her favorite comfy pajamas resembling what she wore during high school, towards the room down the hall.

Stepping inside, past the open door, she peaked over at the handsome man sitting and whispering to the small form in his arms, sitting on his lap.

"...then princess reached into her pocket and took out-"

"A ring!" a chirpy young voice sounded loudly.

Grinning, Tracey watched as Caleb looked away from the hyper child looking adoringly up at him, towards his sleepy smiling wife. Returning the smile, he mockingly scolded their child "Uh oh, looks like you woke up the tigress."

Letting out a squeal when the child's gaze caught the woman climbing onto the bed reaching for him, Cedric tried to escape her clutches. To no avail as she had caught him, tickling his round cute tummy, and blowing a raspberry onto it, eliciting a loud giggling squeal as he wriggled to get free.

"Daddy, heeeeellllp! Mama tigers gotten meee!" he called for aid as his Mama wrapped him into her arms dropping kisses onto his face and neck. It was very ticklish.

"Son, you woke her up, she is too frightening to fight, look at that mane." Hearing his teasing, Tracey stopped tickling her son, knowing he might lose bladder control before he warns her, and jumped onto Caleb. Laughing at their antics, rolling around on the bed trying to get the upper hand while Cedric pounced on and off them.

"I'll show you tigress Warlock." Tracey challenged him, as she held him down by his arms to the bed, feeling their son on her back, clinging to her shoulders.

"Ahh, retract the claws, love." Caleb warned her. She yelped as he was able to flip them over to their sides. Cedric wriggled his way between them, the tussle over as they caught their breath. Stroking his dark brown locks, Tracey wondered if it was time he had a haircut. Detesting the tears and whining that will follow. "I know what you're going to think. Its not happening, let it grow out."

"That was not what I was thinking." Tracey retaliated with a small pout as she felt Cedric shifting into sleep gradually. He was warm and secure between his parents.

"I know you, Tracey. Married you." He stated the obvious logical reason.

"True..." She admitted with a blush and shy smile. Reminded him of the first time he started noticing her so much. "...but I believe it is Reid that got us married."

They laughed at the truth of their union. Reid orchestrated their initial romance, the endurance of their tiptoeing around each other, their separate decisions to get married and making both of them propose to each other the same night.

Quite an epic plan.

Happiest day of her life when she got engaged and Caleb said yes.

Then it was being challenged by he day they got married.

Added was the honeymoon they spent in Koh Samui in Thailand.

Not to mention when they found out they were pregnant and met Cedric the first time.

Closely followed by their second child, Eva, asleep in her bassinette, given that she must have woken Cedric and Caleb up from their sleep.

That's the first female child in the Danvers family for generations. Really, she had never seen Caleb so exuberant awaiting her arrival after it was suspected by old wives tales that they were expecting a girl. That tale funnily enough, came from Tyler, who wanted to win his bet against his brothers and friends.

It was very justified when she got to bet which gender his child will be. Though she got it wrong, first mistake as godmother of an infant girl, Mona's arrival was just as magnetic as the others from Pogue. Reid was the old duck, happy being uncle Reid, and continuing with his filandering ways.

The fact that they no longer held on the responsibility to continue their witching family line through eldest males that they had been informed during their first introduction to their powers, now they were very lax about childbearing. No rush to it, going the same pace as the other boys their grew up around. Its a different kind of relief. Tracey had no idea that they planned to get wives and bear children at the same time so they too would raise their kids and send them to school together. It was cute, now the sentiment is different. The children are only a year or two apart from each other. Cedric is the oldest, gaining the next leader in line of their coven position at his birth, he is almost 3 years old. Eva is a couple months old. Post-natal months mean Tracey get to look as grisly and wild as she desires.

Married life, parenthood, career successes, all this started that night in her junior high school year, approaching Reid Garwin with a proposal about her long time crush. Reid entwined their lives when he agreed to help her. In his best man and officiator of their magical and non-magical wedding ceremony, he claimed that important aspect of their relationship. There was no denial from either the bride or groom as they saluted him with a shot that they downed together in his honor.

Sometimes, you get lucky with the people who you extended your friendship branch. Other times, you find your soul friend, that's destiny. As so, enemies come, yet strong relationships can outlast evil. And all she gained, she was able to keep and grow, despite the attacks.

Looking between her son, husband, daughter, and the family + friends pastel tree branched painting on the wall, she sends a message in thought.

To Chase: I win, you wanker.
