I wrote this right after watching "The Miller's Daughter." I realize most people hate Cora, but I did fall in love with her, and wanted to remember her with this sonnet. Please review!

Requiem for My Fictional Love by Ravenclaw-Earl of Rohan

Your eyes would shine with such a deadly light

Your lips were such a lovely shade of red

Your cow'ring foes would fill you with delight

And fill all of your enemies with dread

Your voice was such a cloying, sacch'rine sound

Your mien was like a snake about to strike

But seeing you, my pleasure would abound

Without you, I shall never find one like

And many hearts you took within your time

Of men you killed, and men who you'd enchant

Yet seeing you would always feel sublime

I treasure every smile you would grant

And now you're gone, I don't know what to do

Like aged wick, I'm drowning in the wax

And, deep down, I suppose I always knew

"Off with my head," your death would be my axe

As you are gone, these words I will impart:

I loved you, precious Cora, Queen of Hearts
