Victoria was one slippery bitch. Edward had no doubt the girls gift involved her rather lovely ability to escape with ease. Now Edward respected her gift, admired even but when it was him tracking her it made him want to pull his hair out. Her gift would be incredibly useful to him when he convinced her to join him, but right now he needed to catch her first. She was leading him on a wild goose trip, and it was wasting his time. But unfortunately he need her for the exact reason she could evade him. The perfect way to capture Bella, someone who can't be detected. Sure he'd probably have to offer up something in return, a bite maybe, but Edward knew she'll come. Once vampires had there mind set on prey they will stop at nothing, he knew that all to well.

Finally he cornered her in the Amazon, her thoughts giving her away.
"What do you want Cullen," she growled, her high pitched voice sounded dangerous and seductive.
"The same as you," he stated.
"And what is that?" She asked, her eyebrows raising as she took in his now ruby eyes.
"Isabella Swans death," he growled.
"I thought she was your pet?"
"She is, but she got away. I want her back, I want to suck the bitch dry."
Victoria smirked at this and Edward knew she was in.
"Where are we heading?"
"Mystic Falls."

"Dad" Isabella called as she entered the house.
"What?" she heard his booming voice reply from upstairs. She followed the sound to his room and came and sat beside him on the bed.
"I need to talk to you" she said, trying to pretend that she felt so wrong about bringing this conversation up.
"About?"
"Katherine,"
"Oh. What about her?"
"I've noticed that you, uhm still seem to have feelings for her." She muttered apprehensively, her cheeks flushed red.
"What?" Damon questioned, blindsided by the fact that his daughter could see right through him.
"It's not obvious or anything but I know you, and if you didn't I doubt that you would be the one telling Uncle Steffy not to go hunt her down. Am I right?"
"Yes,"
"Ok, I mean I don't understand it but I love you no matter what." Bella said as she hugged her father.
"I love you too Bells. Just to let you know every since I first meet her I fell in love with her" Damon began.
"You don't have to explain" Bella interrupted.
"But I do. I need you to understand that at times Katherine was the sweetest person, and I don't know if that was an act or not. Maybe it was or maybe she loved me too. I might not ever no but I still can't help loving her, I would never hurt her even if I wanted to some times. Plus he gave me you, didn't she?" Damon smiled kissing his daughter on the forehead.

"I have decided we are going to be normal teenagers for a night" Elena announced when she arrived at the house later that afternoon.
"What do you mean?" Bella asked as she popped a strawberry into her mouth.
"You, me, Caroline and Bonnie are going to have a sleepover at my house."
"So here?" Bella laughed.
"No you doofus. My actual house, away from your strict family members and devoted husband. I've made sure to rent the most clique movies that the DVDs store had and my cupboard is full of equal parts lollies, chocolate, chips, popcorn and softdrink. I expect you to be ready in 10 minutes, sleeping-bag at the ready because I'm itching to watch a Mean Girls."
"Ok bossy, but what makes you think I own a sleeping-bag?" Bella laughed.
"Don't pretend you don't, I've seen your High School Musical sleeping bag in the cupboard. And to thing you are nearly 150 years old."
Elena said knowing she was right.
"Fine, just let me say goodbye to Jaz and get my stuff"

Bella rushed up the stairs and found Jasper lying on their bed.

"Are you actually going to leave me for a sleepover?" he joked as he kissed Bella playfully.

"Yes mister, so no kissing me and promises of a hot night will make me stay. I have made up my mind."

"Wow Bells, you're really discarding me for Mean Girls and junk food" He laughed against her lips.

"Baby no need to be jealous of objects, you'll have your turn tomorrow." She seductively whispered as she gently bit his lower lip.

"Promise?" Jasper gasped.

"Promise."

Bella skipped down the stairs with her sleeping bag in tow. She was glad Elena not only invited her to the girls night but seemed to be making an effort to become close to her. Bella need proper girl friends, she hadn't had one of those in a very long time. She hopped in the passenger seat of Elena's car and drove to Elena's house across town. It was located in one of the newer areas where blossom trees lined the road. Her house, Bella decided, was a modest wooden two-story house that looked like a mixture of new and old. Bonnie and Caroline were waiting for the two on Elena's porch. Bonnie didn't look overly happy to see here but thankfully didn't voice her opinion while Caroline smiled and pulled her into a tight hug.

"Elena," Bella said after she entered the house "You'll have to invite me in". Whoever said being a vampire was awesome obviously didn't try to get into a house they wern't invited in too, don't even get me started on hotels. Vampires stay strictly in hotels with doormen only for that exact reason.

"Opps sorry. Miss Isabella please come into my fine abode" Elena giggled as she put on a shocking British accent.

"Why Miss Gilbert it would be a pleasure," Bella laughed as she linked arms with Elena.

"Ok girls which movie first?' she said thrusting the pile of dvds towards her guests. The girl had gone all out, leaving no stone unturned. There was the obvious chick flicks, teen movies and thrillers plus classics and actions. They decided on 'John Tucker Must Die' at Bella's shock claim that she had never seen it before and loaded themselves with piles of food and coke with a hint of rum to mainly relax Bonnie's vibe. They were quickly a giggly mess and Bella had never felt this normal. The night consisted of movies, from The Conjuring to Die Hard and the Breakfast Club. Bella had managed to fell like she'd eaten to much food, definitely a first, and around 3am they fell asleep in the living room under a fort of blankets.
