I'm working on it guys. I promise I'm working on this story. I got stuck for awhile because I just couldn't come up with what I wanted. Also doesn't help that my computer that had my drafts saved has died and I hadn't gotten a chance to switch them to the laptop so I had to restart a couple chapters from memory.

K.P.O.V— Lunch Time -Monday

For the first day of winter it was still rather warm. Seems like Tokyo didn't want to transition just yet. This is why I found myself outside with all the friends talking about the competition at our bench.

"Can you smell it?" I ask

"Smell what?"

"Winter Sango. It smells soo good"

"Souta, what is wrong with her?"

He laughs for a second "Kagome has always loved winter. She has like this 6th sense of knowing when it about to snow. She says she can smell snow"

"Winter is beautiful Sango. IT gets chilly, the days get shorter, there's Hot chocolate and of course SNOW"

"Ugh snow….. I don't even like the sound it"

"But just think Sango. Winter break is 3 weeks away"

"I can sleep all day"

"You know you won't kagome. You have things to practice for"

"Oh kagome how did the competition go?"

Souta groaned "Shiro, Why. Why did you have to ask? She will never shut up now"

"Shush Souta. You guys are looking at the new Female Grand Prix winner who will represent Japan in the New York international Ballet competition in February."

"Wow New York. Id love to go visit there"

"I don't really get to go out and site see much. I'm really only there for like 3 days. I fly in on a Thursday night. Have the first part of the competition which is technique stuff and our solos on Friday. The top 30 get picked out of about 80 people to perform on Saturday for the audience and get our awards and then Sunday I'm back on plane to come back and be here for school on Monday"

"well that is no fun at all"

"Well it not supposed to be fun. It's a competition that can change our lives. Oh look bells gonna ring I best be off" I grabbed my back and headed to my next class.

Afterschool Auditorium

We all apparently got a text at the beginning of our last class which said 'meeting in auditorium afterschool –Anna' so here we all stood down by the stage equally spread apart in our groups. I really wasn't paying much attention to my group. My mind was elsewhere thinking about how my dance teacher was grilling me about the next competition. She wanted to make some small changes to my dance which really didn't bother me much but she didn't really ask …. More like demanded we make the changes. That's when I noticed that Anna walked in, she was late….. Like always.

"Hello, Hello, Hello guys. I just wanted to start by saying that you guys did great at the park show. We ended up raising about 45 thousand dollars to donate to a cancer research group. But now we have to get on to the next 3 weeks before winter break. It is going to be a little busy for you guys. This week you need to do 2 songs, 1 of them must have been featured in a movie and the other is your choice. I'm also getting you started on the next week which is going to be music videos. You will be filming 3 music videos of your own, here at the school of course on Saturday. And then the week before winter break will be Christmas week, you need to do 2 songs. And that week we might also pick some duos and we will have a group number. I would start brain storming now for all of that."

"Why are you being so nice to us?"

"Because I'm in a good mood today Inuyasha. Oh and I almost forgot the Friday of that Christmas week were going to have a group potluck here to celebrate the ending of the first half of competition"

"WOOT WOOT Party!"

"Well that's all I need so you guys are free to go. Kagome can I see you for a minute after everyone else leaves". I looked at my group and told them to go ahead. Once everyone was gone Anna came over to where I was sitting and sat down next to me.

"I may have heard from a little bit that you won the grand prix and I wanted to congratulate you"

"Thank You"

"And I was hoping I could convince you to perform one of the numbers you did at the show this week after all the groups are done"

"Oh um yeah I guess I can"

"Wonderful, Thank you again kagome. Tai and I both are looking forward to it". And with that Anna got up and left. I sat there for a minute and just looked at the stage and then got up and left to find my group. When I finally found them they are were already sitting at our bench bickering over song choices. I sat down across from Kohaku who was just a little bit away from the group minding his own business tuning his guitar.

"How long have them been bickering?"

"Since we left the auditorium"

"So like 8 minutes…. geese". I let them go on for about another 10 minutes before I had enough.

"Um hello guys" they all shut up quickly.

"Hey kagome… when did you get here"

"Like 10 minutes ago"

"So what do you wanna sing for the first song?"

"You mean the one from a movie. Well I'm not quite sure yet. I have like 3 in mind I just can't narrow it down yet"

"Well we were bickering over an original by Lucius and Souta or do one people might know"

"Whatever you pick is fine with me. I was kind of already thinking about next week. There's a song I always wanted to do."
"And which one is that?"

"it's called Alice"

"Oh I know which one she is talking about. It's so perfect for our group"

"Okay. Let's do that one"

"Oh and One step at a time. We have to do that one"

"Omg I loved that song"

"The last one we do can be an original from souta and Lucius"

"Seems fair"

"As for Christmas week I need time to narrow some down"

"Okay well go work on that. We're going to brain storm some lyrics for songs"

"Ill be over at that bench". For 15 minutes I sat at the bench just alittle bit away from the group with my ipod and a notepad. When I came across a song I liked that would fit the theme I wrote it down. Once I was done I had to narrow it down from there. I circled my top 3 choices and went back over and tapped souta on the shoulder and pulled him away from the group and showed him the list. He glanced at it for a couple of seconds.

"Well now I can see why you can't pick one"

"See. This is why I'm not allowed to pick songs"

"We can probably skip your first choice because it just wouldn't fit with our other song"

"Okay but that leaves 2 others"

"I really don't know them very well"

"Well you know the 2nd one I loved for like ever. The moment I saw that movie I fell in love with more than half of the songs. But that other one is newer so people would know it more."

"Well which one do you know better?"

"The 2nd one"

"Well then let's do that one. I'll go tell them you brainstorm more for Christmas"

"Okay". That took me less time than the first. I found 2 songs I liked right away and wrote them on another piece of paper and just gave it to souta and he showed the rest. My work was done; it was all on them now.

Later that night at home

"kags"

"what Souta?"

"I wanted to show you the song were doing ". I held my hand out behind me while I continued to do my homework with the other and he slid the paper in my hand. I placed it on my desk and continued on with my homework.

"Sounds good to me"

"Really cause there is another one we can do"

"Sounds good"

"I'm moving in with Akira…. She's pregnant"

"Sounds"…. She paused "WHAT" she quickly turns around in her chair to face me.

"There we go. That's better. Now what the hell is so important that you ignore me?"

"Homework. You better have been lying"

"I was. I just wanted to get you to stop ignoring me and read what I gave you. If you don't like it we have another option to pick"

"Souta you know me, I'm okay with pretty much anything you give me"

"Okay. Look it over and mesmerize it"

S.P.O.V

Unlike the other teams, we chose to not stay after the meeting. We left right after and went our separate ways. Until now, we all agreed to have a group phone call and so far its been them bickering for 20 minutes straight over songs. All I wanted to do was finish this picture I was attempting to draw for school and read my book. Enjoy a quiet evening but that will never happen with this group.

"Oh wait I have a good one….. oh its from that one movie…." She paused to think "Oh yeah Snow white and the Huntsman"

"You mean Breathe of Life"

"Yeah that one. I think it would be good"
"well it's not to bad of an idea"
that was my moment. I just wanted to them shut up soon. "Well do it"

"Are you sure boss?"

"Hn"

"Okay then. We need another song then"

"How about that one we've been working on. You know gorgeous nightmare"

"But…" Shiro started but before she could finish I cut her off

"It's settled then".

"We could win this week….. If kagome like choked on her singing"

"Probably never going to happen" it was after that, that I muted them. I didn't need to hear anymore of the bickering. It was about an hour later that I noticed a text had been sent 'You muted us didn't you'. I didn't even bother to reply back. I just continued to work on my stuff till about midnight when my phone started to beep at me signaling a low battery.

Wednesday Showtime K.P.O.V

"Wassup Everyone. Today's show is going to be a little different. Anna and Tai have chosen the order of the groups this week, and the groups don't know when they will be going. But first let's talk about our favorite thing. Break….. Winter break is 2 and half weeks away. I'm so ready for it, but if your grades are crappy right now I would work extra hard these next 2 weeks to try and change it. This quarter's grade will come out while we are on break and they will be mailed to your house. Now what do you guys say, shall we begin the show?" everyone cheered, ready for this to get started.

"Alright then, we are beginning with our first group Soulless wind" it took Kikyo about a minute to get all set up. As the curtains started to go up she sang her first line and by the second the curtain was all the way up and a spot light was on her.

It took the group about 2 and half minutes to set everything up on the stage thanks to the drums already being on a small rolling stage. Akira decided to dress us all in black today, plain and simple. I took my spot at the mic and waited for the curtains to rise and the band to start the music.

"Very well done everyone. We have one last special treat. This last Saturday there was a ballet competition here in Tokyo. One of the winners of that competition goes to this very school. Anna and Tai have requested that they perform one of the dances they did at the show so give a round of applause". I had decided to do my original piece because it was the funniest one of all. By the time I was done Everyone was cheering and clapping.

"Ladies and gentleman our Grand Prix ballet winner, Ms. Kagome Higurashi, We wish her luck in the next part of the competition. That is all for today, Vote on your way out."

After show

Everyone was shocked at my dance. Almost all of them wished me luck and we all chatted until Anna and Tai walked over to us.

"Well done"

"Indeed. Now we need to get started. This Saturday you will be filming the videos for next week. You need 3 songs; we will have 2 directors here to shoot the videos so let's not waste their time. Come prepared with an idea if you don't have an idea of how you want the videos to be the directors will help you. So let's split it this way Crescent and Lost boy from 7-10am, Fiery and Soulless from 10a-1p and Mas last from 1-4p."

"Have your outfits for the video as well, your instruments…. You know."

"The videos will be shown on Tuesday. The directors will give the videos to their team who will fix them up a bit and give them to us. That day you guys will actually be sitting in the audience"
