Three different groups of people docked at Louge Town at the same time. There was a group of pirates, a group of marines, and a very worried older brother named Ace. One one side of the island, the young pirate captain hopped off her ship with a smile.
"ALmost to the grand line!" She cheered.
"Yeah!" Her crew cheered after her, climbing off the ship. Sabo was walking over to Luffy, they had a few hours before they would leave and he planned to spend that tie with his sister, helping her remember him.
"Luffy! Let's get some food, huh?" Zoro smiled at her, he had jumped off the ship next to her. Sabo frowned.
"Ahhh? Of course! I'm starving!" SHe grinned. Zoro laughed.
"You're always hungry." He said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as they walked. Sabo growled to himself and followed them, leaving behind a very amused Pirate crew.
On another side of an island, a more pirate ships appeared. One held Buggy The Clown and Cabaji, who were traveling along side Alvida and her pirates. Both doing the same thing, setting out of destroy a girl named Luffy.
"You think she's here?" Buggy asked, Alvida glared at him.
"I know that Brat is here. She has to be." Alvida said as they got off their boats. "Every spread out and look!" She demanded.
"Yes ma'am!" they yelled and started to walk around the island.
Zoro had lost Luffy. He sighed as he walked through the marketplace when he heard a woman giving orders by the docks.
"Look for that damned straw hat!" She said, Zoro froze and looked over at the group of pirates that had docked at Louge Town.
"Trying to find Luffy?" He watched the men go, He shook his head and set off to find Luffy before the pirates did.
On yet another side of the island a Marine ship had docked and a young captain with grey hair walked off, followed by Marines, he looked around Louge town and nodded to himself. He could feel it, there were Pirates here. He smirked and began to walk, when a young girl came into his view. Younger than she was, probably not by much, 4 or 5 years maybe. She was… pretty. Long black hair and brown eyes. A straw hat perched on her head. SHe was wearing a red vest and some blue shorts.
"What are you doing around here miss?" Smoker asked when she was close enough to him.
"Oh, I was looking for something." the girl answered, looking around.
"And what would that be?" He asked. It wasn't ok for a girl who looked like that to get lost in a place like this.
"The place where the PIrate King was executed! I want to see it." She smiled. Smoker blinked,
"Oh, very well then. Go straight down that way, take a left, and go through the marketplace. You should get there." He said. The girl smiled at him.
"Thanks- uhh."
"Smoker."
"Thanks Smokey!" the girl ran off.
A marine ran over with a file.
"Captain I have the wanted posters!" He said.
"Thanks." Smoker took them from him and opened them. Sabo… and… Smoker froze, dropping the rest of the posters.
"Captain?" The marine asked, looking at the poster. Monkey D. Luffy. Smoker's eye twitched as he looked at the wanted poster of the same girl who had given directions to a little while ago. He glared in the direction she went.
"She can't have gotten far!" He yelled, running that way, leaving the marines very confused.
Usopp, Sanji and Nami tried to stick together since the other three had gotten lost. Until Sabo spotted Zoro, walking towards them, looking around with a worried expression on his face. And worst of all, he was alone.
"Where's Luffy?" Nami asked.
"I don't know we got separated. But we have to find her." Zoro said in a rushed tone.
"Why? What's wrong?" Usopp asked, getting worried himself now.
"There's some idiot pirates here looking for her. Lots of them." Zoro said, looking around. That's when Sabo came running over.
"We need to go, there are Marines. I saw them... Where's Luffy?" Every stared at Zoro, who glared back.
"It's not my fault she get's lost all the time!" He yelled.
Luffy had made it, stopping at the place where the Pirate king was executed.
"So cool…" She smiled, wanting to see what he saw. She began climbing up to the platform. Completely unaware of the people watching her, pointing at her. And she didn't notice the pirates who saw her.
"It's her!" Buggy growled, watching the girl scale the platform instead of using the stairs. "Cabaji…" Buggy looked to his crew mate, and he nodded. The girl with them smiled.
"She's as good as dead!" the woman gave a evil grin.
"Yes, Alvida-san!" her crew behind her cheered. Cabaji went around, climbing up the opposite side and standing behind Luffy, who was looking out as a bunch of people showed up. Pirates, marines.
"Whoa… what's going on?" She blinked, recognizing the familiar faces in the crowd before she was pushed down and locked into place.
"WELCOME ALL!" Buggy announced, climbing up and standing next to the chained PIrate girl.
"B-Buggy!? WHat's the big idea! Let me go!" Luffy struggled against the chains.
"TODAY WE EXECUTE THIS PAIN IN THE ASS!" He smirked as it started raining, motioning over to Luffy.
"Execute me… why?" She looked around at all the pirates who were cheering, and the Marines who were watching the event take place. "I can't die. I'm going to be the pirate king!" Luffy struggled, not able to break through the restraints. That's when she saw them, in the way back. Zoro, Sanji, Nami, Usopp, Sabo. She looked at them and sighed. She was going to die here.
"Zoro! Sabo! Sanji! Usopp! Nami!" She called, just as the sword was lifted to cut off her head. she looked up at them and smiled. "It was nice meeting you all!" She said, not just to the crew, but to everyone there.
"LUFFY!" Her crew, and Sabo yelled as the sword swung down.
Smoker stared at her. Luffy. She smiled at everyone, just like he did when they killed him. Just like the pirate king. What was it that made them smile in the face of death? He didn't want to watch this girl die, but the marines had already started fighting against the other pirates… there was no way to get to her… so he could arrest her, of course. But then something happened, lighting, right then, struck the man holding the sword and lit the platform on fire. As if God himself was stopping this girl from dying.
Zoro and Sabo ran through the pirates when the platform began to go down in flames.
"LUFFY!" They yelled out when they saw the straw hat float onto the ground. The crew ran after them, stopping in their tracks when the girl walked out of the flames.
"Wow… that was strange. How am I alive?" She laughed light heartedly.
"Luffy." Zoro grabbed her hand. "We have to go. now." He said. Luffy nodded seriously, and started running away with her crew. Smoker saw them.
"MUGIWARA!" He yelled, running after them. Luffy watched her crews backs, she looked back, Smoker was gaining on them and of she didn't do something all of them would be…
She looked up.
"Zoro! I'll be there soon!" SHe yelled, turning down an alleyway.
"Wh-" Zoro looked back, Luffy was gone. He gritted his teeth and ran faster. She could take care of herself…
"Abandoning her crew?" Smoker glared, turning and running after her. That's when he realized… she wasn't leaving them. She was leading him away!
Smoker grabbed Luffy, wrapping her in smoke, The girl struggled and coughed, throwing her rubber punches at him, that simply went through him. After a little while… she fell unconscious from inhaling the smoke.
"Got you." Smoker chuckled, catching her when he let her free from the smoke. She groaned and coughed as the marine captain carried her through the rain. There was another flash, and smoker found himself being pushed down into the ground. He looked up at a hooded man who was glaring daggers at him.
"Let her go, marine." He growled in a low voice. Smoker looked in surprise.
"Monkey D. Dragon…" He muttered.
Dragon simply knocked Smoker out, picking up the young girl and placing her away from him.
"Luffy...:" He brushed hair away from her face before walking away into the stormy night. Luffy coughed and sat up abruptly.
"Let me...go?" She looked around, Smoker was out… what happened? She shook her head, looking back to where she saw her ship. "Bye Smoker!" She smiled at the unconscious man before she ran away, back to her crew, jumping on her ship just as Nami gave the orders to sail off to the Grand Line.
