Chapter 8

Getting the Band back Together, Part 2

Currently at Dante's temporary apartment, there was a livid gathering happening with the Hokago Tea Time and their homeroom teacher getting to know the women who the devil hunter and his twin brother are acquainted with known as some of the DarkStalkers and how they personally knew them. With one of them gone on an outing of sorts with Vergil, that left the catwoman Felicia and the Chinese exorcists, Hsien-Ko and her sister, Mei-Ling who has reverted back to her human form as a young Chinese woman with shoulder length brunette hair and was wearing ancient clothing, notably their family's traditional white garb and a tall headdress, to tell what they knew of Dante to the girls so far.

"Dante-sensei told us that he had worked with you before, right?" Ritsu asked, being curious about the trio of women they've just met. "How did you guys cope with that, knowing he's one of the sons of Sparda?"

"Well, it would be obvious that everyone from our world has heard of the Legendary Dark Knight and his heroic deeds for mankind, so it would be odd if we too didn't know of his twin sons who themselves were both feared and respected by our kind when they both came of age and had once put aside their rivalry to stop their late father's power from being taken by an evil human." Felicia spoke, answering questions the schoolgirls has been asking her so far. "However, after meeting Dante some time ago when he was on a hunt for a very powerful lord of the underworld, namely a guy who we shall refer to as Jedah, he wasn't as bad as we thought him out to be and started working with him and later his brother when we learned we had the same goals in mind."

"Suffice it to say, there were times both had visited us in the past to get a better understanding how demons hunt their prey so they can get an edge over them in your world here, not to mention, be able to learn demon spells to enhance their abilities or to find and destroy HellGates. You can say that is where Dante and Vergil would often come and practice and gain intelligence if needed, but that was just before the whole mess of them becoming enemies and not until later with them reuniting, though. We still hold them in high regard, even up to today since Morrigan was the one who helped Vergil the most when he was defeated by Dante on Mallet Island and was critically injured, being close to death." Hsien-Ko added, which made Ritsu leaped up to speak.

"Hold on just a minute here, if I recall, Dante-sensei said that Vergil-san supposedly was killed when you fought him years ago, right?" Ritsu asked as Dante noticed her question and answered.

"That's what I thought, at first." The devil hunter responded, as Patty served refreshments to the girls in the room. "However, before he surfaced in Fortuna where I reunited with him just about a year ago, the place where Nero lived, he ended up in their world, partially in his Nelo Angelo form, but severely wounded."

"Was there something you didn't tell us about how Vergil-onii-san came back to you, sensei?" Yui asked as Dante sighed and Felicia spoke.

"Yes, Dante, how could you leave out a detail as important like that? Especially considering how Morrigan went out of her way to help you guys out?" Felicia asked as Dante threw up his arms.

"Hey, the girls didn't know about you yet until today, I only gave them the relevant details." Dante replied simply as Mugi asked ahead.

"What was it that really happened then, sensei? I'm referring to Vergil-san's recovery before you two were reunited, that is." The long haired blonde asked as Dante nodded a bit.

"Well, like Hsien-Ko said, Vergil was fortunate to end up in the world our DarkStalkers friends come from, something that probably served as a punishment from Mundus when he failed in stopping me back then." Dante said. "And one of the first persons to meet him upon arrival, was Morrigan herself, when he was found clinging for his life at her castle doorsteps."

"But aren't you and Vergil-san supposed to have powerful demonic traits that you got from your father, right?" Mio asked as Dante nodded. "Couldn't Vergil have healed himself if he wanted to?"

"Oh, he can, but don't you forget he was influenced heavily by Nelo Angelo's spirit at the time, and the injuries he got from our fight can render a demon weak enough that recovering will get harder to do by himself. So in order for him to improve his recovery better, the spirit and influence Mundus had placed him under had to be removed from the host, some of that was possible thanks to me fighting him from before." Dante said. "I know it sounds complicated from here on, but that probably explains the whole thing with Nero being able to possess Nelo's spirit when it was removed. In any case, she was able to nurse Vergil back to normal even though he had to take his time recovering his humanity and ended shacked up at her castle until he was ready to come back to the world that we live in as he is now."

"You seem to think of that…that woman very highly, Dante-sensei." Mio muttered as Dante shrugged his shoulders.

"And what's wrong with that, Mio-chan?" Dante asked with a smile. "Not only she did me a huge favor in not only helping bring my only remaining family back from the brink of death, but helped recover what Mundus tried to destroy what was left of Vergil, that's all. Of course, I owe her big."

"Ehhh….I was kind of hoping Morrigan-san stayed a bit so we can get to know her some more, she seemed like a real nice lady." Ritsu said in a wondering tone as Mio flustered to her comment.

"Well, I'm GLAD she's not here to try anything I wouldn't like! Even if she did save Vergil-san's life, I do not want to be her plaything or whatever she's got in mind!" Mio said as she directed her attention to Dante, who couldn't help but grin at her reactions. "What is it that you find so funny, sensei?"

"Come on, Mio-chan, you got to learn to chill around my new friends like all the others. I told you before there are more or less share the same role of protecting humanity from bad demons just like me, Vergil and the rest of Devil May Cry, they just do it a little differently than I do. You're just going to have to be used to hanging with Morrigan next time you see her, but I can promise she'll go as far as suggesting things with you, nothing more." Dante said as Mio pouted at him and dropped her shoulders in defeat.

"Oh, fine! But I'm not letting my guard down around her next time, got it?" Mio demanded as Dante shrugged his shoulders and replied.

"Whatever you say, Mio-chan, I'll leave it at that. Besides, Morrigan may look like she's all about playing around, but she's just as incredibly powerful as yours truly and Vergil, all thanks to her father once being a very powerful demon lord of the realm the DarkStalkers come from. As a matter of fact, there was a tale floating around that her old man, Belial Aensland and Sparda were once old buddies during the time Mundus had control over the humans and the two agreed to form a secret alliance to lead the rebel army that helped Sparda take down Mundus and his forces. Of course who know how much of that is true, but from what Vergil researched during his time seeking power, and spent with Morrigan, that's what he came across anyway." Dante said, surprising his students as he said this.

"So that means that both the Aensland and Sparda families have been like friends for a long time, Dante-sensei?" Yui asked as Dante nodded his head.

"You seem to be getting the idea rather easily, Yui, that's correct." Dante replied as Yui giggled lightly. "Belial had his own morals, he wasn't as cruel and evil as he was thought out to be despite as he saw all demons as equal and didn't take to Mundus's ways of treating humanity like my old man did. And being an S+ ranked demon, he certainly didn't fail to make a mark in proving his point to Mundus along with him."

"Wait a minute, Dante-sensei…you mentioned 'S+ ranked' demon about Belial, does that mean he was even powerful than Sparda?" Ritsu asked as Dante sighed.

"That's basically how I rate facing my targets, but yeah, Belial had incredible power, so much that unfortunately it would eventually cause him to age like normal humans years later after humanity was freed from Mundus, in the same sense that my old man had his demonic power sealed away when he closed the main HellGate between our world and the demons." Dante said. "Belial would have to fragment his power into three separate souls, one for himself, one for Morrigan and the last for her younger sister, Lilith. And here's the catch, even if he was to die later, the souls and the power inhibited in them would have to be transferred to Morrigan as it's a hereditary custom, which in itself is a risk to her as they could make her lose control of her own power and eventually kill her too. But, Morrigan, like yours truly, surpassed her late father by being able to house all three souls with no problem to date, making her the most feared succubus to date."

"Okaayyy, now we know you two click so well, thank you for the info, sensei." Ritsu replied as Mio shuddered after hearing the details of Morrigan.

"Well, I may be friends with Morrigan to an extent, but your stick in the mud buddy, Vergil is the one who has gotten closer to the broad than you girls think." Dante said, causing Ritsu and Mugi to look at him with curious and wide eyes.

"What are you saying, sensei?"Mugi asked. "Are you implying something's going on between the two?"

"Wait, you're saying Vergil-oniisan and Morrigan-san are…like seeing each other?" Yui asked as Dante nodded with a grin.

"My, you girls are picking up on stuff that isn't even in your league at your age, but then again, some teenage girls your age are romance nuts." Dante replied. "Although in his case, Vergil wants to call it courting in his terms. You can pretty much say those two are in bit of a platonic relationship of sorts. But at least Morrigan's keeping him on a leash in case he goes on a power trip again."

"Oh, man…I know a lot of girls in school are going to be disappointed if they ever find out that Vergil-san's already taken." Ritsu said, thinking for a bit before saying. "Make that, like half of the current grade student body."

"We had no idea Vergil has gotten this popular in the human world, kind of ironic considering his former disdain of humans some time ago." Hsien-ko said as Yui inputted after her.

"Was he really like that, Hsien-san?" Yui asked, tilting her head. "Well, now that I think about it, he did say he and Dante-sensei were rivals because of that, if I remember."

"It's all in the past now, kid, although Vergil has a rough time still accepting his human heritage, I think from the amount of fans he gathered at the end of school today says he's warming up a bit to them, not to mention how much influence you have on him as the ever bubbly younger sister type of person he never had also seems to have an effect on him too." Dante said as he drunk from his beer can. As he was helping himself, Mio couldn't help but look deeper at Felicia's appearance as well as Hsien-kos and mustered up to ask them what was on her mind.

"Excuse me, Felicia-san, don't mind me asking, but is it hard being…you know, well, unique as part feline?" Mio nervously asked as Felicia waved a paw at her while smiling at the brunette.

"At first, during my younger years when us DarkStalkers were feared by appearances alone by humans, but I intend to change all of that after I became a famous entertainer and seeing not all humans are bad." Felicia said. "I want to prove both kinds can coexist peacefully through my performances which tend to bring in crowds from both worlds."

"You're always the optimistic peacekeeper, huh?" Dante said casually as he shook his head. "Well, I see nothing wrong with that venture, except that some of the demons won't be complying to sing and dance with you all the time, Felicia."

"That is why I'm not afraid to use force if I have to, Dante. I got no problem turning anyone who troubles humans into a scratching post like I've been doing recently." Felicia said. "Thankfully, I'm still not out of touch with my fighting skills."

"The furball is right, she's a mean fighter on par with her musical talents." Dante said. "Maybe you can share some combat expertise alongside her musical experiences with the Hokago Tea Time girls when you get some free time?"

"Just say when, Dante. I'll make some time from my tour schedule to give them a session or two." Felicia said with a smile as Mugi, Ritsu and Azusa had their attention directed to Hsien-ko and Mei Ling.

"So, if I get this straight, Morrigan-san is a succubus, Felicia-san is a catwoman, so what does that make Hsien-ko and you, Mei-Ling-san?" Ritsu asked as Mei-Ling and her sister gave a smile to each other before they spoke.

"Oh, I'm technically a jiangshi, a Chinese vampire." Hsien-ko said simply which caused Mio to shudder at the mention of the word, 'vampire'.

"A v-vampire?! You!?" Mio jumped back as she was still getting used to having to deal with real life monsters as she pointed at the Chinese sisters. "How is that possible?!"

"While it may sound unbelievable, it's quite true, Mio-san. And I act as her ofuda, or magical ward." Mei-Ling said. Allow us to enlighten you a little, girls." Mei Ling replied as she put down her drink. "Mei Ling and I were both born humans like you girls, and our family had been exorcising and banishing demons for generations as we have knowledge of ancient Chinese magic for confronting demons and their fellow kind. However…"

The two sisters paused for a moment before Hsien-Ko nodded at Mei-Ling before she continued.

"Well, to make a very long and complicated story short as to how we came to be, when our dearly departed mother was killed while fighting the dwellers of the dark as we call them, we had to free her soul which was bound in darkness. So we both used a forbidden spell to grant us the power needed to fight the dark, but at the great cost of casting aside our human lives in order to fight and free our mother's spirit."

"That was over two hundred years ago, so basically, we've both lived for a very long time, before dying once, then being reincarnated into new bodies before our old powers resurfaced when we got to your age and once again, we've been fighting the dark ever since." Mei-Ling said solemnly as the Hokago girls who were listening were stunned to hear what they just learnt.

"I still find it hard to believe Dante-sensei has found himself some friends with monsters you only see on Halloween costume parties and old horror movies. But not that's a bad thing once we met you guys, you seem like a nice gang to chill around with." Ritsu grinned at the girls as Mio sighed.

"Only you would sound happy for something like that, Ritsu." Mio said, knowing this is something that would pique her childhood friend's interests to a great extent. "Although, I must admit that I'm curious of learning more of Felicia-san's talents in the entertainment industry myself, I'm sure she may have some advice on how to make our performances be as popular as hers."

"Me too, Mio-chan! And I really want to meet the other members of your troupe soon, Felicia-san!" Yui chipped in as Azusa knew what her senior meant by that.

"Yui-senpai, you just want to find out if there are other cat persons like Felicia and if they are cute, don't you?" Azusa asked as Felicia waved a paw at her.

"Oh, I can vouch for that, you are going to like the other members, who are, Alto, Grace, Lucy, Nana, Mimi, Nonno and Piko." Felicia replied before Yui jumped to ask her.

"Suugooi, are they all cat ladies like you, Felicia-san?" Yui asked as Felicia smiled at her and nodded brightly.

"Of course, Yui-chan. They are all very special friends, and all quite nice, I think someone like you will get along with them." Felicia replied, stopping to ask. "Anyway, we told you quite a bit about ourselves by and how we know your teacher, we'd like to know for ourselves what do you think about him being your teaching so far? How does it feel being actual students of the Legendary Son of Sparda?"

"He's a really fun person to be with, and he knows all kinds of neat stuff and is really fearless!" Yui put up her hand quick and inputted as Dante chuckled to her comment. "And he loves eating all kinds of food and never gets fat like I do!"

"Alright, I can agree with everything you just said, except for that last part. I only eat like that just to keep my metabolism as a half-breed up, okay? The only one here who will get flabby is you if you think you can eat as much and stay as cute like you are, Yui." Dante said as he leaned back on his seat as Yui pouted at Dante.

"Mouu, sensei. I can't help it if I find lots of food delicious." Yui said, puffing her cheeks at him, yet liking how he referred her as cute just now.

"Well, he tends to show off and flirt all the time, and can be a bit of a pervert sometimes too, but he knows how to treat the students with care and respect and is rather helpful to them when needed the most." Mio said in her own input, remembering what he did for Azusa for the past couple of days the most then she remembered how they first met as she shook her head from the almost embarrassing meeting. "So, he does have some good points about him, BUT…just those only, understand, sensei?"

"Yeah, yeah, I know where my charms shines the most, especially around sometimes delicate girls like you, Mio-chan. I appreciate it anyway." Dante said simply as Mio reacted to his comment by silently turning her head to the side, slightly hiding her reddening cheeks and small smile with her hands.

"He's got a lot of talent, inside and outside of music, I'll give you that. And so far, he's pretty generous in sharing what he knows with us." Ritsu said with a nod as it was Mugi's turn to speak next.

"He also knows how to be a gentleman at times, though he is some leagues behind his older brother." Mugi gave a chuckle as Dante shrugged his shoulders to her comment.

"Well, that is the one other thing Vergil has spent more time refining other than his sword skills over the years, ojou-sama. That whole being the proper gentleman stuff was really not cut for me unless it's around well behaved princesses like you." Dante remarked as Azusa was the last to have her own input.

"Everyone basically has said what makes Dante-sensei our favorite teacher so far, but let's not forget he's only doing his job the best way he can so to make sure everyone and this town is safe." Azusa said Hsien-ko gave a confident nod.

"You girls surely have gotten to know and trust him well over the short time he's been with you, that's good to hear." Hsien-ko said. "It's not just because he's popular as a teacher at school or the fact he's the son of the Legendary Sparda either, but that he is willing enough to help see that nice and talented girls like you don't have to experience what he and Vergil did if the demons attack your beloved hometown just out of the kindness of his heart."

"And we pretty much understand his reasoning after he told us about you, so we all gathered to help out as well as a debt to repay him for helping us in the past." Felicia spoke along. "So, in short, you have no reason to worry about trusting us, Hokago Tea Time. We'll be ready to prepare you take on those nasty demons as well, not to mention, help you become better performers overall."

"You girls should be grateful, the famous talented Felicia herself is going to pitch in instructing you, but then again, you girls only heard of her just tonight, so you wouldn't know just how good she is." Dante said as the catwoman's large ears perked up as she leaned over to Hsien-ko to whisper into her ear as the Chinese zombie nodded at Felicia and then at Dante.

"Hold on, Dante. I think we can fix that." Hsien-ko said as she reached inside her long sleeved dress and pulled out from it a medium sized metallic box to everyone's surprise. She set it on the table before the people in the room and upon closer inspection, it had some microphones along with an amp like system attached to it.

"Hey, isn't that a karaoke machine?" Patty asked as Ritsu nodded.

"She's right, it is!" Ritsu said in an alarmed tone as she looked at Hsien-ko. "How on earth did you do something like that?!"

"Well, usually, I have a magic ability that lets me hide throwing weapons for combat among other random stuff, meaning I can access various items from my robe just by reaching into it, a little something I've mastered over the years." Hsien-ko gloated with a smile as Mio asked the jiangshi.

"But…a karaoke machine….why would you have it if you're supposed to be holding unto weapons?" Mio asked as Mei-Ling placed a hand over her mouth.

"Let's say when you're living as a Chinese exorcist that had to be reincarnated twice over the centuries fighting evil, that sort of lifestyle does unspeakable things to your psyche. Trust me, Hsien-ko is more carefree with her talents that you think, dear Mio." Mei said as Mio sweat-dropped nervously as she put up her hands.

"Alright, now we're in business with this." Felicia said as she took up one of the microphones. "How about we get a little musical party going on in here, you girls can be my audience for tonight."

"For real, Felicia-san?!" Yui jumped up as she heard that as she looked at her friends. "Everyone, wouldn't that be cool?"

"As long as you don't make it to gather complaints from the neighbors, we should be fine." Dante said as he heard the doorbell to their apartment rang.

"I'll go get it, Dante." Patty had already left the group to see who it was as it's still too early for Vergil to return just yet. Just as everyone in the room were about to proceed with the start of Felicia singing, Patty walked back in with the new guests that just arrived. The Hokago Tea Time and their club teacher couldn't believe their eyes as they gaze on the newcomers.

"Hey, Dante, guess who came back with Nevan from the store with much needed food for the guests?" Patty said as she let the guests come in, including a slender figured woman with long black and red hair and pale green skin wearing a combat vest and pants. "Guess who else stopped by?"

Dante walked over to the door entrance as he made a small chuckle. "Well, aside from bringing back Nevan home to me safely, this is a pretty surprise. Seriously, if you guys were coming over as well, I'd make sure to have made proper party arrangements."

"Well, I didn't want to ruin the surprise, but then again, you called us out on a whim and we wanted to return the favor you did for us last time you were on our ship, the Milano, Dante." A male voice spoke as it sounded like a clear American accent. "It's nice to see you again, old buddy."

"Well, come on in and introduce yourselves to my students." Dante said as he let the group of people enter the room, where the Hokago Tea Time looked at the new arrivals as Mio couldn't stop staring at Nevan's appearance while finding it hard to believe that woman is actually the guitar the girls saw use before.

"Kids, these three here aren't your typical run of the mill heroes, but they get the job done." Dante spoke as his male friend spoke.

"Hey, is that anyway to tell them how the Guardians of the Galaxy roll, Dante?" The man, named Peter Quill said as he had a stout and near muscular built and was tall as the devil hunter. He had shortened brown hair with a small yet rough accompanying stubble beard and sideburns which fitted his handsome face. He wore a red-brown leather jacket which seemed to be a trademark for him. "Oh, hey now, I didn't know you had quite the party going on here tonight, Dante, I see you even got Felicia too."

"Hi, Peter. Don't go flirting around tonight though, I can see Gamora's right there." Felicia said as the woman who came with Peter was another odd skin toned person as both her long hair and skin tone was entirely green while she had shoulder length red hair and slightly slanted eyelines. She wore a black and white outlined vest which revealed her well toned arms. Mio and Ritsu looked on at her and saw she looked fierce and intimidating just looking at her standing in the room.

"Oh, don't worry, Felicia. I won't do anything to ruin what look like a fun time such as this." Gamora said putting up her arms. "Besides, I told Quill to behave himself tonight knowing the amount of people he will be around with."

"Ah, more guests!" Yui clapped her hands. "Dante-san, are these three here your friends too?"

"Yeah, pretty much, kid." Dante said as Ritsu started pointed towards the trio and got flustered trying to talk as she looked like she recognized them as Yui and Mio noticed the drummer's reaction.

"Ricchan, what's going on?" Yui asked as Mio looked worried at Ritsu as she started to speak.

"Oh….my….Kami-sama! Dante-sensei, you're buddies with the Guardians of the Galaxy themselves?!" Ritsu exclaimed as Dante replied simply.

"Pretty much, yeah, especially since I had to go up against this fella right here a couple of times before we became all buddy-buddy, but they all turned out cool in the end." Dante said as Rocket scoffed at him.

"You got off easy the last time we knocked heads together, Dante, but don't let it get to you that you've the advantage just because you're a hit with the ladies here." Rocket said as the Hokago Tea Time looked at their marsupial guest in shock.

"Okay, was it just me, or did that raccoon just speak fluent Japanese like the rest of us in this room!?" Mio asked as Rocket responded proudly.

"There's no mistake about what you heard, love. I can clearly speak your language just like everyone else in the room, took me a week in advance to learn it since I was heading this way. It's one of the perks of being an advanced species is that I can adapt in learning any of your foreign languages here on Earth or anywhere in the galaxy." Rocket said. "I'm not just your average coon that you may have heard about on your local nature television programs."

"Yeah, you'd do your best not to underestimate Rocket here, little lady. The guy's just a few advanced species above you guys in terms of intelligence and strength." Peter said sheepishly. "But it doesn't mean that you can't just…"

"Ah! A talking tanuki!" Yui shouted as she ran across to pick him up and hug him. "How kawaii!"

"Hey, what's up with this girl?" Rocket asked. "I'm not some kind of toy for your enjoyment, put me down this instant!"

"Ehhh? But I couldn't help it, you're just so cute!" Yui said as she continued tormenting Rocket by hugging him profusely while Ritsu, Mugi and Azusa huddled around their friend for a closer look in as Rocket looked at Dante.

"Argh, for the love of…Dante, do something about this girl!" Rocket struggled as Dante chuckled a bit.

"Sorry, Rocket, but let her have her fun for a bit, okay?" Dante said as Mio shook her head and protested.

"Dante-sensei, I don't see why anyone should let things be…I mean…it's an actual talking and walking raccoon!" Mio pointed out while Yui hugged Rocket away much to his dismay. Ritsu couldn't help but get curious about Rocket herself and walked over to Yui's spot.

"He won't scratch, right?" Ritsu asked as Rocket turned to the tomboy's direction and managed to leap out of Yui's hold before he flipped back away from the two and pulled out a combat knife, which made the two girls leap back. "Whoa, did he just pull out a weapon at us?! Not cool, Raccoon-san!"

"Oh, there's more where this came from, love. Would you like to try?" Rocket dared Ritsu as Dante and Peter stepped in front of their respective friends and tried to get in between any confrontation.

"Ease up there, Rocket. These are only Earth teenagers you're facing, somewhere below your league." Peter said as he briefly apologized to Ritsu. "Please excuse this guy, he's got the fiery temper and, he really doesn't like being referred to as a pet."

"Awww, that's too bad, he felt rather nice to have as one." Yui said as Mio shook her head and looked at Rocket.

"Something tells me you know how to handle yourself as well, for a raccoon." Mio said as Rocket grinned and pulled out a minigun that was bigger than him to her and the Hokago Tea Time's surprise.

"Oh, you'd like to see exactly how, won't you dearie?" Rocket said as the girls huddled close to each other at the sight of his gun.

"Whoa, ease up on the weaponry there, Rocket." Dante said putting up his hands as he stepped in front of Mio as he turned to her and the group. "You have to excuse the little critter, he's got quite the short temper."

"Come on, Rocket, no need to get hostile. They've just never seen a talking raccoon before, of course they would be curious." Gamora said as Rocket sighed and returned his weapon to his holster.

"Hmph, just setting the records straight here, I'm not some toy for your amusement." Rocket said as he looked at Dante. "But since you're buddies with my boy Dante here, I'll make an exception. Just don't overdo things."

"Geez, you had us worried for a second there, ummm, Rocket-san. We didn't mean any harm, honestly, we all thought you looked not just cute, but cool as well." Azusa said as she was still wearing the cat ears from before which made the talking raccoon feel nervous around her.

"Ohh, noo, miss. It was my mistake for jumping the gun like that. Allow me to make it up to you if you're ever in trouble, love. I won't hesitate to offer my services as long as there's a nice payment involved." Raccoon said as Dante smiled at how Azusa's appearance was making Rocket react differently towards her and her group when Ritsu turned to Peter.

"I don't believe this…the Guardians are visiting my teacher's apartment." Ritsu swallowed hard as she pointed at Peter. "Then you must be….StarLord! Ahhh, I always wanted to say it out loud like that, and I always wished that I could meet someone cool as you!"

"Finally, someone here recognizes my infamous name." Peter said with a confident grin as Ritsu fervently shook his hands. "And I dare not ask how you did so, but I'm glad you know about my role, kid."

"Ritsu-senpai, how did you know about them anyway?" Azusa asked, trying to stay comfortable as Rocket seated next to her between Felicia who was watching what was taking place.

"Azusa, come on, who wouldn't know about these guys!? Well, while they are not exactly on the Avengers level in terms of popularity, me and Satoshi-kun did read about them being involved in running into them a few times, both as allies and enemies in a couple of situations involving stuff from other worlds falling into the wrong hands." Ritsu said as Starlord spoke right after.

"And what she meant by stuff, she means things that aren't supposed to be in anyone's possession because they are so dangerous to the rest of existence like the Infinity Gems or Tesseract for instance." StarLord said as he looked at Ritsu. "It's up to us to stop stuff like that from happening by sometimes stealing what isn't theirs and returning them to their rightful place before any hell breaks loose. Although we don't have the same cool factor like the Big Three and their group, doesn't mean we're sloppy, kid."

"Ah, I take your word for it, StarLord-san! My brother and I still think you're cool guys who get to travel all over the universe and just envy you for being able to do that! I just didn't expect to actually meet you guys at my teacher's apartment of all places!" Ritsu grinned as she looked at her maile teacher and soon to be instructor. "Dante-san, if you never told us that you knew the Guardians of the Galaxy, just how many more superheroes are you all chummy with that we don't know of, huh!?"

"Well, while I like to divulge that information to my favorite loud tomboy student, I wouldn't want you to pass out just yet from the excitement if I told you right away and instead have them show up and reveal themselves once they get here later to give us a hand in the whole preparation for the demons business." Dante said causing Ritsu to look at him and jumped a bit on her feet as she couldn't contain her excitement.

"Who, Dante-san?! Who else do you have coming over here?!" Ritsu asked as she started to call out several names. "DareDevil?! Or maybe The Punisher?! Jessica Jones?! Luke Cage?! Iron Fist?! You got to tell me, pretty please?!"

"If I tell you, you'd probably be both half disappointed and half happy at the same time, so I won't ruin the surprise now for you right now. Although I did traded punches with Iron Fist in a sparring match or two and had more than a few drinks with Jessica if you want to know." Dante said as he patted the tomboy on her back, causing her to giggle a bit. "However, I'm intrigued you heard about the Defenders, Ritsu. They're only pretty well known if you're living in someplace in a specific part of that universe's New York called Hell's Kitchen and the Harlem area."

"It's all she ever does if she's not fooling around, Dante-sensei. She pretty much is into reading superhero stories and stuff like that, but even more so when that alternate Earth was discovered and we learnt of the heroes existence that she went into the following them like the huge fan that she is." Mio sighed which got an energetic response from her childhood friend.

"Well, yeah, my brother and I have been reading and hearing all about these rising small time superheroes from that part of the universe StarLord-san and his group. Sure, they aren't as huge as the Avengers or these guys, but they are doing a part by helping out the people in their neighborhoods, it's something that I wished I can do if I had powers like them too." Ritsu said as Dante smirked at the tomboy after learning of her passion for heroes as he wrapped an arm around his female drummer student's shoulder.

"So I noticed based on your constant questioning whenever they are brought up. Alright, I'll tell you what, Ritsu. Even though you won't be getting to meet those heroes that you just mentioned anytime soon, I'll still put in a word you'd like to meet them one day when my other buddies from that side of the universe come over, as long as you keep behaving yourself and stop being such a loud troublemaker at times, got it?" Dante said as Ritsu simply nodded her head quickly in reply.

"Oh, yes, please do that, sensei! I mean, I promise I won't be causing as much of a ruckus all the time if you're going to do that, heh-heh." Ritsu grinned as Mio shook her head silently at her friend's reaction, but felt happy enough for her and even felt some more admiration towards Dante for helping her see one of her dreams come true today.

Meanwhile, the woman named Gamora was being stared at by Yui and Azusa as they couldn't help but take in her unique alien appearance, as the female warrior flashed a quick grin at the pair who was observing her.

"Look, Azu-nyan! Isn't she pretty?" Yui asked simply, which actually surprised Gamora and Azusa since the airhead probably didn't mind Gamora's look, which caused the woman to lean in closer to speak to the two musicians.

"Is there something I can do for the two of you?" Gamora asked nicely, regardless of her toughened personality that she is well known for. Yui put up her arm as she replied to the woman.

"Oh, I just thought you look really cool, I really love your hair!" Yui seemed not bothered Gamora's look as the tall woman smiled at the pair.

"Well, you're quite the charming one, thank you." Gamora replied as Azusa didn't feel as uncomfortable meeting a new person like Gamora and bowed to her as she greeted herself.

"So, Groot and Drax couldn't come along for the ride, huh?" Dante asked as Peter shrugged his shoulders.

"Well, you know how Drax was always available to help out since he likes a good fight, but he's got to run the Milano for some errands in getting some much needed smuggled supplies from some nasty space pirates from literally the other side of the universe. And Groot's getting along nicely, though most of him still is a baby stalk by now, but growing back to his normal state if things keep up." Peter said as Dante nodded. "So, you're stuck with us three for the time being."

"Hey, the three of you still tend to pack a mean punch anyway. I'm glad you can take the time to make it, Peter." Dante said as Nevan spoke up now.

"Master, how could you just abandon me like that with your friends?" Nevan asked in her sultry tone of voice as she wrapped her arm around her master. "You know I don't like being away from your hands for too long."

"Now, now, Nevan, you're the one who wanted to chill on the outside for a while, so I thought you deserved the break." Dante said as he pointed to the Hokago Tea Time. "In any case, now that you're back, you can introduce yourself to my students here who are curious about you. Girls, this is Nevan's true form."

"Wait, we're to believe she's that guitar you've played for us before, sensei?" Ritsu said as Dante nodded. "How is that possible?"

"Remember what I told you about the guardians me and Vergil had to beat? The only way they can become Devil Arms is if they acknowledge your power and Nevan's one of them when I fought her years ago, this was her natural form." Dante said. "And she was a bit of a handful to deal with then if I didn't keep my head out of the gutter whenever she tried to charm me."

"So, in a way, Nevan-san is like Morrigan-san and you almost fell for her wiles, huh?" Mio asked while eyeing Dante before turning her head with it raised. "Hmph, now why doesn't that surprise me."

"Now, Mio-chan, Dante-san has enough willpower to be able to withstand her presence to an extent, you know he just enjoys doing those sorts of things for the fun of it." Sawako advised simply, hardly surprised by the new developments surrounding her and instead being intrigued by them. "I'm more interested in seeing just how Nevan can be used into the guitar you occasionally use against me, Dante."

"Alright then, if the good teacher requests a show, she'll get one." Dante said as he turned to the lightning succubus. "Nevan, would you do the honors and show them how it's done?"

"Fine, but you owe me for this one, master." Nevan said as a bright light started to glow from her body, changing her shape and appearance in front of the group of school girls into the shape of the purple axe guitar that Dante showed them some time ago. The newly transformed guitar was now wrapped around Dante's neck as he displayed the instrument as it produced live electrified strings for the girls to see.

"Sugoi, that's how it's supposed to look like, huh?" Ritsu asked as she asked her teacher. "So, how exactly do you play it if it's able to produce live current?"

"It's just like any other guitar, though you need the expertise of a great player to manipulate the notes just right any calling out a bolt of lightning or summoning of bats on where you stand by accident." Dante said as Mio spoke while she examined the guitar.

"That sounds really dangerous, sensei. Does that mean you alone have been able to use it without those problems?" Mio asked as Dante as before responded, he heard Nevan's voice speak from the guitar as did everyone else.

(Wait, master…grant me a moment to test this girl's skill. Despite her doubts about who I am, she seems quite capable enough of playing a tune from my strings.) Nevan's voice said out loud as Dante looked at his guitar and spoke back in a defensive tone, yet he was curious on what Nevan can do in a human's hands.

"Hey, you sure about this, Nevan? She's not exactly like me and Vergil, in terms of us being demons and her being a human." Dante asked simply, drawing a nervous look from Mio when he looked at her. "If you try anything funny with my student…"

"That will be entirely up to her if she does messes up, but after just meeting her toady and knowing of your faith in her skill, I was hoping to see if she was brave enough to be considered worthy of playing the guitar." Nevan said as Mio had heard enough and walked up to Dante.

"F-fine…if she wants to put me to the test, I'll…I'll play her, if that's what it will take to prove myself." Mio said boldly as Ritsu stepped in front of her friend.

"Hey, Mio, is that really a good idea?" Ritsu asked, feeling worried for her friend's brave attempt into something she never tried before. "One mistake and you could…"

"Come on, Ritsu, it's just like Dante-sensei said. If I just think of it as Elizabeth, I should have no problems." Mio said as she gently smiled at Ritsu. "Besides, you know we've practiced enough to become better performers thanks to all the extra lessons, it's time to put what I learned to actual use."

"Sigh…fine, if you say it like that, there's no stopping you, I guess." Ritsu said as she watched her childhood friend nod back to her as Dante faced the long haired brunette and gave her the living purple axe guitar to hold in her hands. As Mio touched it, she was expecting some kind of reaction, but it still felt like a normal guitar to her and was able to relax a bit when she held it as if it were her own.

(Strange, I thought it'd be dangerous, but I actually feel…) Mio thought to herself as she closed her eyes and moved her fingers across the electrified wires on Nevan as she felt energy surging through her fingertips and into her body, something that she'd never felt on her own guitar. However, she felt confident enough to start picking on the strings as she suddenly started move her fingers across them and play out a heavy riff of one of Sawako's solo pieces from her Death Devil days, Love, as a sample. To everyone's surprise, even Dante's, she was playing Nevan on her own without any of the effects from the mystical guitar affecting her.

"Dante, are you seeing this?" Sawako asked, leaning in to Dante who only nodded in silence. "Did you know she could actually have done that?"

"If I didn't give her the guitar like Nevan suggested, no, I wouldn't have." Dante said as he looked impressed by Mio handling Nevan well thus far. "Trust me, this is quite the surprise for me too, up to today, only Vergil and I can handle that thing without getting any nasty feedbacks."

Like Dante and Sawako, Ritsu and the other girls looked on at her friend playing Nevan, tearing it up like she normally would on Elizabeth as she suddenly noticed Mio started to play the second phase of the Decepticon's Blitzwing's boss theme from the game, Transformers: Devastation, a game in which her brother occasionally plays whenever the two hang out at the Tainaka residence. Because of the soundtrack from the game, Mio had recently taken samples from various tracks to practice on, but Ritsu recalled Blitzwing's theme was the trickiest to get it as good as the original by her own. Now, she seemed to have no problem playing it efficiently.

"No way, Mio-chan!" Ritsu exclaimed as the way Mio played caused her to rock her head to the somber yet enthralling beat of her playing the riff. When she finally finished, the long haired brunette was panting hard, trying to catch her senses as the room suddenly was filled with a loud applause from her performance from her bandmates and new friends alike.

"Sugoi, Mio-chan! That was incredible!" Yui clapped at her fellow guitarist as Mio's stunned face broke into a wide, yet nervous grin when Dante approached her.

"Congrats, Mio-chan, you're practically the third person I know to actually have mastered Nevan, and on the first try too." Dante said as he congratulated the brunette by giving her a gentle pat on her back. "Tell me, kid, how did it feel to be in the centre of attention using such a wicked guitar in front of all these cool people and your friends?"

"I…I don't know how to describe it, sensei." Mio said as she was still stunned by her own performance as she realized the guitar she was using wasn't like her normal guitar. "I just felt like giving it my all since I felt I only wanted to prove myself and I didn't even realize I was using Nevan like that until I felt something within me that just made me move my fingers and hands to play what was in my thoughts and suddenly, I felt I was in total control over what I was worrying about before and just let the flow take its course."

"Is that something similar to how you play it, Dante-sensei?" Mugi asked as Dante gave a simple shrug.

"Well, I never really thought of it like that before, but the way Mio-chan puts it, yeah." Dante said as he took Nevan from Mio's grasp. "Anyway, I'm glad my tutoring you so far has given you that much of an insight of what it felt like to be a pro guitar player. And you also showed a great display of courage playing like that. Though, I'm more surprised Nevan didn't give you any lip or something of along that line for handling her like that, she must have really liked your skill, Mio."

"I…I only did it to prove a talking guitar who dresses like Morrigan-san a point, that's all. I didn't mean for it to become so dramatic, mou!" Mio replied nervously as the girls heard Star-Lord clapping a few times as he came forward from his trio of fellow space travelers.

"Color me very impressed, Dante. You seem to be passing what you know to very good use." Star Lord commented as he gave Mio a gentlemanly bow. "And I must say the lovely young lady herself played exceptionally well, even though we just met."

Mio felt her cheeks redden when she heard the compliment and was about to faint (due to that it didn't help she was standing close to two extremely handsome adult men in the room) but she simply nodded to Star-Lord with a smile. "Um, arigatou, StarLord-san, it was a pleasure to have played for you and your friends, as well as meeting you."

"Right, Felicia and the exorcist sisters already got acquainted with the girls before you three got here, but I can always give you the short introduction: The bubbly and hyper one prone to being ticklish over there is Yui Hirasawa, and her cat eared and equally cute accomplice is Azusa Nakano." Dante said, introducing the Hokago Tea Time to Peter, Gamora and Rocket. "While the loud tomboy is Ritsu Tainaka and the one who just played for us is her easily spooked, childhood friend Mio Akiyama, and the gentle and beautiful ojou-sama is Tsumugi Kotobuki."

"Well, it's awfully nice to meet such a group of unique Earth girls. You all look like a lovely bunch of well behaved students if Dante of all people is taking care of you." Peter gave a bow to the Hokago Tea Time who returned the greeting bow to him, as they were surprised and a bit taken by his charm. "You already met Rocket Raccon, while you can either address me as Peter Quill or StarLord, and this is my reliable partner in crime, Gamora."

"It's nice to meet you as well, Peter-san, oh and Rocket-san as well!" Yui waved to the two as she wanted to hug unto the walking critter some more. "I've never met a talking raccoon before, are they rare?"

"I'm just one of a kind of raccoon you won't see this side of the galaxy, love. The term 'rare' doesn't even come close." Rocket replied to her as Mio and Ritsu were still in shock to hear him speak just like a normal human.

"I still can't believe we're talking to a raccoon! And I mean TALKING as if he was like us!" Mio leaned to her friend who replied to her in disbelief. "And I thought I could have gotten used to Agni and Rudra, now we have to get used to this!"

"I dunno, Mio-chan. I think I prefer talking to this guy better, not only he seems less chatty, but he is kinda cute for a raccoon…I can see why everyone would go nuts over him." Ritsu lamented as Mio sighed heavily.

"I think I need to sit down and something to drink, there's too much going on with meeting these friends of yours, Dante-sensei." Mio said simply as Patty nervously chuckled.

"Ah, it isn't so bad, Mio. You just have to get used to the weirdness eventually, it somewhat comes with the territory." Patty replied as Mio nodded her head. She seemed to be having fun watching her friend's reactions meeting the Guardians from the side.

"So, Starlord, is it true you're part human and another alien race mixed together?" Ritsu asked as Peter chuckled at the tomboy.

"Well, that can explain how I was able to survive using the Infinity Gems without combusting into a million atomic particles at one time when Ronan the Accuser lets things got out of hand." Peter replied. "Although it goes without saying that I do miss how things on my Earth for some years, but at least the perks of space travel came with learning about all the new life in the vast universe out there."

"Ehhh, I envy you guys, getting to go all over the galaxy like that. If school such wasn't a priority, I'd ask to join your crew." Ritsu said as Peter chuckled at the group as he looked at Dante while Mio glared at Ritsu at the side as she nervously held her hands in a surrender motion.

"Dante, you've got yourself some endearing students here, as they are both pretty and curious to be around with." Peter said as Dante shrugged his shoulders.

"Like I usually say, they are quite a handful, but they are good kids, Peter. I rather its best to leave it up to you guys to share the famous tales of the Guardians of the Galaxy to the actual crew to share their stories among my trusted students if you like." Dante said. "Anyway, I'm sure you three must have had one hell of a trip getting here, how about I get some cold ones for you guys, then we catch up on things?"

Before Peter can reply, Sawako apparently hopped in front of Dante and already was introducing herself to the attractive and charming man in front of her, who somehow caught her eye the moment he stepped into the room before she gathered her thoughts to face the space travelling criminal.

"Excuse me, I believe we haven't been introduced yet, sir." Sawako said, as if she had grown curious about the arrival and appearance of Dante's most foreign friends, most particularly StarLord. "I'm the advisor for the music club of these girls and homeroom teacher for the four of these girls, I'm Sawako Yamanaka, but please, you can call me Sawa-chan if you like, hee-hee."

"Hey, Sawa-chan! What's the big idea?" Ritsu said from behind as she noticed something. "Wait, are you trying to snag him to yourself? That's got to be it!"

"Well, you really can't blame her, Ritsu. I guess her type seems to be the adventurous kind, and from what Peter-san stated, he must have seen pretty much the entire universe more than everyone in this room. That alone should qualify him as a catch for Sawa-chan." Mio replied as all the while on the side, Yui and Mugi couldn't stop petting Rocket Raccoon since he arrived and despite his minor complaints, only caused the two to adore him even more. Peter simply chuckled and gave Sawako a simple bow as he took her left slender hand and kissed it, which seemed to impress her and a few of the girls in the group.

"Oh, my, aren't you the charmer, sir." Sawako said as she felt her cheeks flushed at his gesture while Dante sighed.

"Careful, Sawako, this guy's a lady killer more than I am right now, who knows how many girls he already charmed his way into all over the galaxy." Dante said as Peter chuckled at Dante's comment.

"Please, Dante, you know me so well." Peter said as he let go of Sawako's hand and took a look at her appearance. "I'd say it's a pleasure to meet such a graceful, and a reliable teacher who is also beautiful to boot, miss Sawako. I do hope me and my crew isn't getting in the way of your student's progress in learning."

"Oh, please, Peter-san, that's not true! I only do what I can for the sake of my beloved students and their school." Sawako couldn't help but gush over how this intergalactic travelling criminal was getting to her like a true romantic, maybe she'd have a chance to know him better when things simmer down.

"Yeah, she's totally head over heels for this guy." Ritsu said simply as she went over to poke Peter's side to get his attention. "Don't be fooled by her appearance, StarLord-san. She may be a good teacher by appearance, but in reality, she's lazy and slack, especially while in the club when it comes to teatime!"

"Ritsu! Don't go crushing my dreams now!" Sawako lamented, as she went over and started pulling on the tomboy's cheeks with a threatening tone as the young girl struggled to get away from her teacher's grip.

"Just thought I'd let him know, sensei!" Ritsu managed to say as Peter joked at Ritsu.

"That's okay, Sawako. I'm the kind of guy who likes to gamble my luck, just like your awesome teacher here." Peter said as winked at Dante. "She's quite the looker, Dante, I'm surprised you haven't asked her out yet."

"I like the work relationship Sawako and I have right now and to keep it that way, thanks very much." Dante said as Gamora shook her head approaching the pair of men. "You must be getting tired of his flirting all the time, huh, Gamora?"

"I think I gotten used to it, most of the time it doesn't work like he planned like tonight though. He just got lucky." She replied cooly as she turned to Dante. "Now, about those drinks and our business proposition we talked about earlier…"

"I haven't forgotten about them, it's coming right up." Dante said as he signaled to Patty to get some drinks from the fridge. "Have a seat in the meantime while the girls entertain us."

Thus the remainder of the evening was filled with partying and gathering sounds, the Hokago Tea Time not only enjoyed spending more time with each other but got to knowing more of Dante's unique friends while Mio got to play on Nevan some more, while the group got to hear some of Felicia's singing. Suffice to say, they discovered how she became as popular as she is as they pretty much enjoyed her performances.

A couple hours passed and the group had to return to their respective homes as it was already night time. Before they left Dante's apartment, he instructed the five girls to meet him the next morning at a specific area in the town for the start of their training to which they agreed. Felicia, Hsien-ko and Mei-Ling opted to guide the girls to their homes while passing on some knowledge of monster behavior since Dante had to finish discuss things with StarLord, Gamora and Rocket.

"Sigh, that was a real fun get together, Dante-sensei!" Yui said as she looked over to Felicia for a bit. "Felicia-san really is a cool and awesome singer and dancer!"

"See, didn't I tell you girls how good I am?" The catwoman said with a wide grin. "Although, I'd shine better if I was on the concert stage where my troupe can share the spotlight then you'd have seen some neat stuff!"

"Really, Felicia-san?! You'd have to let us see that happen!" Yui exclaimed as Ritsu and Mio chatted a bit with StarLord and Rocket before they left the apartment.

"You rascals better not give any trouble on the way home, especially you, the loud one with the hairband." Rocket said as Ritsu pouted at him.

"Mouu, why does some of Dante's friends get kind of impression about me, I'm really a nice girl once you get to know me, honest." Ritsu said as Mio spoke.

"He probably heard how much trouble you like to cause us and Dante-san sometimes, Ritsu. As much as it bugs me out agreeing with an intelligent raccoon, I couldn't agree more." Mio said with a weary tone. "But, that isn't an entirely a bad thing as you only do what is best for the club and for your friends, so we're not upset at you for your level of thinking all the time."

"Mio-chan, since when you're siding with a raccoon over your childhood friend?!" Ritsu exclaimed as Mio couldn't help but grin a bit at Rocket as she was growing comfortable with being around him.

"I really hoped you had fun again tonight, Azusa, despite the crazy developments you had for one day." Patty said to her friend as the twin tailed youngest Hokago Tea Time member nodded to her.

"No, I didn't mind, Patty, really. The others and I really enjoyed ourselves today, but I feel kind of bad leaving Ui and Jun out of all the fun we had." Azusa said with a somber grin.

"Maybe you can invite them over a little later when things are settled, I'd love to hang out with them some more myself." Patty replied as Mugi was next after while she was leaving.

"Thanks for having us over again, we all had plenty of fun meeting your friends today, sensei." Mugi said as Yui waved to Dante.

"Good night, sensei and Patty-chan, see you tomorrow!" Yui said as she turned to the Guardians. "And I hope to see you again as well, StarLord-san, Gamora-san and Rocket-san."

"Alright, hurry up and get to your homes before your parents start to worry about you. I'll be seeing you in the morning and don't forget to bring stuff to get by in the morning period, such as your cute bento lunches and stuff." Dante said as he waved to his students as they and Sawako bowed to him, Patty, StarLord, Gamora and Rocket before they left with the DarkStalkers female trio.

Yui had safely returned to her family's residence after spending most of the evening with rest of the Hokago Tea Time and the new friends that Dante was acquainted with. Knowing it was a bit later than the usual time she was supposed to be home, she sincerely hoped Ui won't be angry at her for coming home too late. So, she decided to try sneaking into her house by quietly opening the door and getting her shoes off.

"If I can just sneak right into my room without letting Ui know I got home late again, I may get away with this. Now, quietly…very quietly…" Yui whispered to herself as she tiptoed on the floor into the living room, hoping Ui wasn't around until she heard a voice call her out from behind.

"And just where are you going after coming home this late, onee-chan?" Ui said as Yui leaped up in surprise.

"Ahh, Ui-chan! You really surprised me!" Yui said as she suddenly went to hug her sister after calming herself once she saw her sister's face. "You were waiting for me to get back all this time? I'm really sorry for coming home late without telling you, Ui-chan."

"Mouu, onee-chan, you should have called and told me you would be out again, I was worried about when you will get home." Ui said with an almost solemn face. "Were you and the others practicing the entire evening?"

"Uhhh….yes. Something like that, heh-heh." Yui simply replied nervously. "Dante-sensei really has us going the extra mile lately, but it's for the sake of us getting better before graduation."

"Well, if it's him whose looking out for you guys in the club, I guess I can relax for a bit." Ui nodded.

"Don't sound so worried, Ui-chan. Dante-sensei has been really good to us at school and outside of classes too, really!" Yui said, pumping her fists.

"I'll take your word for it, onee-chan, you've just been spending more time doing club activities lately with him and the rest of your club, that's all. Is something big going to happen that I should know of?" Ui asked, as Yui nervously shook her head as she can't tell Ui about the truth surrounding Dante and the demons just yet.

"There's nothing going on, really!" Yui shook her head as she waved her hands. "It's that Dante-sensei tends to go the extra mile teaching us some of his secrets to apply for our music, and they are like waaaay more advanced than all the stuff we learned so far, we won't be catching up to him anytime soon."

Ui pondered for a moment as she looked at her sister and shrugged her shoulders soon after. "Okay, I'll let you off the hook for now, but later after dinner, we're going to practice together and you'll show me just how much you've been learning from Dante-sensei's lessons, okay, onee-chan?"

"I got it!" Yui replied with a gleeful smile as her inner thoughts reminded her of what Dante said to her before about the training she'll take up soon. "Oh, yeah…I may start coming home late from tomorrow on as well, it seems. Dante-sensei has us starting doing extra lessons to prepare us for graduation, so I'm letting you know off-hand that I won't be home in time for dinner until like two to three hours, but just for a like a couple of weeks, Ui. He said that you don't have to worry about me as he will look out for me during that time."

"Well, if you put it that way, onee-chan, I guess I won't worry every evening about you, but do please come home right away whenever you're done, okay?" Ui pleaded with Yui who nodded at her sister in return. "Oh, yes, I got a call from mom and dad before you got home moments ago, they told me to tell you hi!"

"Awww, and I wasn't home to talk to them, booo." Yui pouted, as she missed hearing her mother's and father's voice every day as she was used to being home alone with Ui whenever their parents went overseas. "What did they say?"

"They're coming home in a couple of days as they have completed their business trip and will be bringing us souvenirs." Ui said with a smile.

"That's great, Ui-chan! I hope they are bringing sweets from where they are coming from…" Yui stopped mid-sentence as she recalled she will have to start cutting down on the sweets and extra feasting for some time as suggested by Dante. Ui noticed the change in her sister's expression and called out to her.

"Onee-chan, is something the matter?" Ui asked as Yui shook her head silently as she started to make her way to her room.

"Oh, it's nothing, I just remembered I was supposed to do something from tomorrow." Yui said, holding unto her guitar. "I'm going to get out of my school uniform and into a bath, Ui-chan. I'll join you for dinner right after, okay?"

"Uhh, okay, onee-chan, I'll reheat it for you in the meantime." Ui replied as Yui made her way while the concerned, younger Hirasawa can't help but think to herself about Yui's behavior.

(You're acting more unusual than ever these days, I wonder if there's something that you're not telling me, onee-chan?) Ui thought to herself, hoping that she's wrong in suspecting going on with her sister and her friends. Shaking off the thought, she went on ahead to prepare her sister's dinner.

The next day, after the Hokago Tea Time have rested up from the eventful activities of the previous night, they met at the arranged place and time of their first day of training which was located somewhere outside the town at the edge of a forest park. Following Dante's advice, they were told to come dressed in their P.E uniforms and bring along their gear consisting of the items he and Vergil offered them before, which was the Vital Stars and Holy Waters each girl had been holding unto, along with some bottles of drinking water and neatly packed bento lunch boxes.

Resting their gym bags, the girls stopped at the opening of the park and looked around for their sub-advisor when Yui was the first to speak. "Well, we made it here like he told us to, now what?'

"Dante-san said he'd have to make some preparations before meeting us here, maybe that's why we came all the way from the town just to gather here?" Mugi asked as Ritsu pumped her fist. She had her long blond hair tied to a single ponytail like she always does during participating in school physical activities as did Mio and Azusa who followed suit to keep their long hair in place as well while Ritsu had a portion of her hair tied up into a small upright short bob on the middle of her head since she isn't wearing her yellow headband at the moment to keep the extra bangs of her hair in place.

"I know! Maybe Dante-san has something he has to demonstrate to us while training and we'd have to be away from where it could possibly cause a lot of collateral damage!" Ritsu said as Mio sweatdropped to hearing her words.

"And how can you be so sure, Ritsu?" Mio asked. "Are you saying Dante-san is going to do something that can cause a lot of commotion, which is pretty likely, knowing him?"

"Well, knowing how strong he is, it's a certain possibility, thanks to his heritage." Ritsu replied with a simple shrug. "In any case, I'd be in for something awesome today and I really can't wait to see what's in store!"

"Yeah, I knew you'd only be looking forward to that, senpai." Azusa said simply with a shake of her head. She was still trying to wrap her head over the new friendships she encountered last night, namely that with Felicia, Hsien-Ko, her sister, Mei-Ling and Nevan, but thought that meeting them wasn't a bad idea. "In any case, I wonder if Felicia-san and the others we met last night will be joining us?"

"Those two, I think I can manage being friends with since they are so easygoing, but pleeaase, I don't want Morrigan-san to target me like she did last night the next time we ever meet her!" Mio muttered as Yui chuckled.

"That's okay, Mio-chan. If what Dante-sensei told us about her is true, I think Vergil-onii-san is keeping her company at the moment, but I'd like to meet her again soon too!" Yui said as Mio flustered at her.

"Apparently, you still have no idea what kind of situations somebody like her can cause if you hang out with her too much, Yui! Moouu, you're either too clueless or too innocent to know what I'm saying, are you?" Mio said as Yui looked at Mio with a quizzed look while Ritsu spoke.

"You're thinking way too much about it, Mio-chan. But we do have to look on the bright side that she's helping us too…imagine just how powerful she has to be just to be able to nurse Vergil-san of all people to normal like Dante told us last night. We can't deny someone with that amount of power going out of her way to give the Devil May Cry team a hand in fighting the demons later on, that's going to make things much easier for us." Ritsu said as Mio sighed at her friend's remark.

"Well, you do make a valid point, Ritsu. I'd have to remember from now on that these devil hunters are fearless in whatever they do and I have to be too for the club's sake." Mio inhaled deeply and slapped her cheeks together. "I'll still be on my guard around Morrigan, though."

"Hey, I think I can see Dante-sensei heading our way." Azusa said as the group looked on to see their sub-advisor leaping from a couple of tall trees above them and landing in perfect form in front of them, dressed in an outfit they'd never thought would suit him-a custom red hoodie jacket that was open with a white vest and track jeans suited for running complete with sneakers on. The girls sneaked a light chuckle as they saw their teacher dressed just like one of their P.E teachers from school, but somewhat more handsomely for the occasion.

"Good morning, ladies. I hoped you all slept well despite being at the rowdy party at my place last night. It's been awhile since my otherworldly partners in the business and I had a chance to catch up on things, I thought I made you overstayed your time away from home last night." Dante said as Yui was the first to reply.

"Ohaiyo, Dante-sensei and that's okay! We all had so much fun meeting all your friends too!" Yui said in her usual cheerful tone.

"They were all nice people, sensei. I do hope we can meet them again later soon, especially Star-Lord, Gamora-san and Rocket-san. I want to know more of the travels across the galaxy that they had." Azusa said in suit. "But aside from that, what's with the outfit you're wearing today?"

"Yeah, what happened to that cool coat you'd always wear?" Ritsu asked in turn while Dante replied.

"Well, it's not the most matching attire for yours truly, but it should work for the time being." Dante asked as he stretched his arms outwards to display his appearance. "Since I'm going to be like your coach for some time, this is the way to go. I had Patty pick the right style for me while she's taking care of cleaning my coat today."

"Hmm, it's not bad, sensei. Of course, you'd always look great in anything you wear." Ritsu said as she nodded her head.

"Flattery won't get you anywhere in this training, but I'll take the compliment for the time being. And I can say the same about you girls, Sakuragaoka's style of uniform seems to suit your current day and age of extracurricular activities." Dante said he can see the HTT girls all dressed up in their P.E uniforms consisting of baggy white shirts and blue track pants with white stripes flowing down the leg area.

"Thanks, sensei, but wouldn't these get in the way of our training later?" Mio asked as Dante gave his casual tone of reply.

"Since we're starting small today, I wouldn't worry about anything excessive clothing wise unless they will get in the way of any weapons training you girls may have to go through later. Knowing you girls will need clothes to be able to move about in for combat purposes, I got Sawako taking care of all that." Dante said as Mio spoke.

"Well, that's hardly a surprise. For some reason, she's got enough time on her hands to make costumes and makes us of all people wear it for her leisure." Mio said as she recalled some memories of the outfits she protested in wearing from Sawako's choice of costumes, but ended up wearing them instead. She was just grateful Dante and his friends that he called over so far haven't seen her in those...yet.

"Knowing Sawako and her stance in this situation with the demons, I'm sure she's going all out in making something you don't have to be embarrassed about, so I wouldn't worry, Mio my dear." Dante said casually as he looked over his shoulder. "Anyway, all fashion statements aside, it's time to start whipping you girls into shape with some basic exercises. The place where we'll officially start training is a few meters from here, so we're going to jog the rest of the way there, and this will be your starting point. I'll explain everything else once you five meet me at the training grounds."

"J-jog?" Yui asked nervously. "Is the training ground really far from here, sensei?"

"Hmm, not sure, I'm sure I passed a few several feet of trees on the way back here rather than using the trail…" Dante said causally as Yui moaned loudly.

"Aaauuu….well, if it's a little jog, I guess I can live with that." Yui said as Azusa patted her senpai.

"Come on, Yui-senpai. You already said you'd do your best to get stronger, we can do this." Azusa said as Mio gathered her bag along with Ritsu and Mugi.

"She's right, now's not the time to turn down the chance to protect ourselves and those close to us. We'll endure anything Dante-sensei has for us, so go ahead and lead the way." Mio said as Dante nodded.

"Good, that's what I like to hear." Dante said as he turned around. "Of course, it's no fun if you guys think I was going to just run just like everyone else to the training ground, so how about a little game of tag to spice things up a bit? I'll be it."

"Huh? What did you meant by that, sensei?" Ritsu asked as the devil hunter simply smirked and snapped his finger to switch his current style to the Trickster ability and to the surprise of the girls, he leaped several feet away from them before using Air Hike as a red magical platform appeared under his feet to lift his body higher toward a tall tree in front of them, before he used SkyStar to draw closer to it as he then used his Wall Run to run upwards the tree vertically as he stopped on the top and leaned on it while standing on a branch.

"What I meant is that you will have to try and at least keep up with me while I use the top road to get to our location, you guys will follow on the bottom." Dante said as he pointed a finger upwards. "But if you don't hurry, you're going to get lost in this forest, so try your best to keep up with me, okay?"

Dante then continuously leaped from the tree before them like a shinobi on his feet and landed on top another with ease while below, the Hokago Tea Time observed him from below still in awe.

"S-sugoi, Dante-sense!" Yui shouted as Ritsu tried to pick her jaw from the ground after seeing his acrobatic display. But before she can say anything, Azusa's voice called out to her sempais.

"Yui-senpai, Ritsu-senpai! Snap out of it, we have to follow him!" Azusa said as she tugged her bag while she started running. Mio gathered her senses and started to follow Azusa with Mugi right after.

"Oh, crap, she's right! Wait up, you guys!" Ritsu said as the tomboy grabbed Yui's hand and pulled the airhead guitarist, still amazed by Dante's skills, into their jogging run through the forest park. The five girls managed their pace and soon caught up with their half demon teacher who was still traversing high above them on the tall trees.

"Man, he's fast!" Ritsu lamented, exhaling hard. "Are demons really supposed to be faster than humans?"

"Don't forget what Vergil-san did the other night when the demons first appeared before us, Ritsu. Even if Dante-sensei claimed to be not nearly as quick like his older twin, he surely is giving us a run to remember." Mugi said in between breaths as she jogged along the club. "And I'm sure he isn't even his full strength right now and we're still trying to keep up with him."

"Mugi-chan's right, I don't ever recall running this much except during that time in the school festival." Mio panted. "I'm sure this is convenient for Dante-sensei because he's familiar at moving in airborne territory."

"Well, aren't you the sharp one, Mio?" Dante's voice called out from above to the girls below. "You're right, thanks to my abilities as a demon, I can easily move in the air like this with some aid of the environment. I would have simply have used my Devil Trigger and flown to the training location, but where's the fun in that when you girls have to learn to move as almost quickly as I am by starting with what you know best?"

"Moouu, there you go again with your ways of showing off, sensei." Ritsu pouted as she felt Yui's hand dropped on her shoulder.

"That's fine, sensei. This way, you're teaching us as well, right?" Yui asked as Dante replied.

"Yeah, that's one way to put it, kid. Now, you five have to press on a bit longer, you're within reach of the training site." Dante said, heading into the forest away from the group. The five girls looked at each other with tired expressions before slowly nodding to each other and started jogging again towards in their teacher's direction.

A few moments later, the five light music club girls managed to reach their location, Yui the only one spent from the jogging was the first to fall flat on the grassy ground while the others rested their bags while they awaited their teacher.

"Finally, we made it." Mio said as she gave a few pants while Mugi nodded to her.

"Yes, it seems we've only stepped in the start of some rigorous training ahead if we are to train like this everyday from now on." Mugi said as Yui sat up when she heard the blond pianist's words.

"Ehhhh? Everyday, Mugi-chan?" Yui said as she heard Dante's voice speak.

"That's the plan, anyway. The sooner your bodies get used to the exercise, the better you'll get for getting ready for the demons." Dante said casually, leaning on a rock. "I was wondering when you five were going to show up."

When the five girls followed the sound of his voice, they can see a very wide clearing among them, very spacious with just simple plant life with a small mountain river in the distance. Yui and Ritsu dropped to the ground panting heavily as they were already drained from the running they were instructed to do.

"Hah, hah…sensei, how did you…get ahead…of us…so fast?" Yui panted while Ritsu struggled to point out what her teacher did moments before in her tired breath.

"Dante-sensei, you have to tell us what was that you just did!" Ritsu said, catching her breath. "You were literally flying and dashing from tree to tree while we hardly could catch up with you!"

"One thing at a time, kids. I don't want you to pass out just yet before we even start, so catch your bearing first." Dante replied as Ritsu nodded and relaxed a bit as he explained to them. "Like Mio pointed out, what you saw before was my Trickster Style, one of my optional fighting styles that I use. Think of it as separate fighting technique with its own set of attacks and abilities and the sweet part is that I can switch it in the blink of an eye to another Style during combat."

"You said that's one of so called Styles you use, Dante-sensei. Can I ask what else is included as part of your combat arsenal?" Mugi raised her hand to ask as she was growing curious on her teacher's fighting capability. Dante gave the Japanese blond girl a warm nod as he went into telling the group what he knew.

"Okay, I'll break it down for you since you'll probably be seeing more of them later during a fight or two and will even have to incorporate them into your training." Dante replied. "Trickster is used to evade from, or get close to my enemies or destination. Of course, depending on how quick you are on your legs, you can come close to dashing and even teleporting from one place to another in an instant from danger in multiple situations, while the wall running will require some mastery of balancing your body weight and some parkour involved."

"Dante-sensei, did you just said, that you used that Style for teleporting?" Azusa asked, curious as to what it actually may look like. "Can you at least give us a little demonstration on what that's like, we never actually saw such a thing in real life before."

"Okay, since you asked nicely, I guess I can do a little magic show for you and your friends, kitten. Now, all of you girls, just keep an eye on me and where I stand." Dante said with a bright smile as he simply stood for one moment in front of his students then the next, they only saw a faint blur of red in front of them as their teacher quickly vanished from their sight as Yui, Ritsu and Mio jumped in surprise while Mugi and Azusa looked at each other in stunned silence.

"Holy…did you guys see that?!" Ritsu exclaimed as she stood up and pointed at where their teacher was. "He just…he just…just when you thought he wasn't capable of doing everything that's cool, he does this! Suigoooi!"

"Dante-sensei, where did you go?" Yui asked as she quizzically looked around her sides to find him as she heard her teachers' voice behind her.

"Don't worry, Yui, I'm not going anywhere far from you guys." Dante replied as the students looked behind their backs and saw him reappear behind them with his arms outstretched. "So, what did you guys think of my live magic act?"

"Seriously, sensei, you always seem to have some fun, new way to surprise us." Mio muttered as put on a brave face with a mild grin. "But, I'll admit, it looked like rather unique for someone like you."

"Hey, Mio, this teleport has hell of a lot of good uses, so don't go knocking it just yet." Dante advised the brunette. "Things like extending combination attacks from a distance and while in the air on your enemy basically is what this is for, as well as confusing them to set up an ambush from behind. Vergil has the same ability as well and is just as efficient with it like I am since he does it in any position around his enemy."

"Sugoi, sensei. And you can do it often?" Asuza asked as Dante nodded at her in silence.

"Yeah, if applied with just the right weapons, timing and placement of your enemies and abilities, you can even use it to stay airborne throughout a whole fight." Dante said as he put his arms on his hips. "Of course, you guys will have to dedicate years to grasp Trickster's full potential through combat if you want to come close to flying like I am without the use of demon powers."

"Uhh, I rather we take things one simple step at a time for now, sensei." Asuza said nervously, trying to wrap the jargon her sub instructor was giving her in her head. "So, are there any other Styles we should know of?"

"Well, there's SwordMaster, which expands the use of sword, gauntlet and any blade type weapons in terms of damage, speed increase and additional attacks. Pretty handy if you want to seriously pummel some damage on your enemies." He continued. "Following that, there's GunSlinger, which is basically the same as SwordMaster, but this time with guns, rifles, and rocket launchers. If you know your way around guns, it's the way to go sometimes for decent distance attacks."

"Wait, we may have to start using guns too?" Mio asked in a shocked tone as Dante nodded at her.

"Well, some demons are pretty weak to them if you don't want to get up into their faces all the time." Dante replied. "Some of the tougher ones can be stopped dead in their tracks with a nicely placed shotgun blast, a heat seeking missile or a precise long ranged sniper shot. These are also essential in dealing with demons too, Mio-chan."

"I-I know that, sensei. It's just that the thought of holding a gun at a living thing…" Mio stopped as Dante sighed.

"I get what you're about to say, and I understand you're just being aware of the dangers that come along with the existence of demons, but you don't have to be worried, Lady, Trish, Nero and I are pretty handy with guns. We'll have to teach you if it's necessary though it'd be nice if we can avoid that…" Dante said rubbing his chin. "Anyway, there are a couple more I got to mention that I use as well, RoyalGuard and DarkSlayer."

"Just what those two do?" Ritsu asked as she getting a familiar idea of how proficient Dante is combat wise through his speeches.

"Well, RoyalGuard is the most unique of the Styles I have, as it used strictly for defensive purposes, such as guarding yourself from most deadly of the demon's attacks, and even absorbing the damage taken from them and returning it to the enemy through perfect defense and counter techniques learned from martial arts." Dante said as Yui waved her arms.

"Ah, I remember! That was what you did when you rescued me from those delinquents, sensei!" Yui exclaimed. "You waited right until they attacked you then you managed to fight back one of them using just their own strength against them, am I right?"

"Yeah, kid, you already get the gist of how RoyalGuard works, though you should know those guys were mere practice dummies compared to the more powerful attacks from demons I can protect myself with that style, right? I can even guard against projectiles and multiple strikes as well if I time my guard just right then transfer that energy to increase my own strength. That's probably why that Style is so different than the others in terms of power and how to properly use it since it comes with its own risks." Dante said.

"Geez, sensei, just how much more awesome can you get if you know your way around powerful offense and defense fighting techniques like those?" Ritsu asked as Dante folded his arms.

"Don't forget, that is due to most of the training me and Vergil did when we were younger when our old man was still around, then in addition to our demon heritage, we kind of expanded on what we learned for ourselves, so yeah. It's efficient if you put it like that." Dante replied as Yui asked after.

"You mentioned Vergil-onii-san as well, sensei. Does he share the same abilities like you have whenever he fights?" Yui asked as Dante replied.

"Well, Yui, your beloved onii-san's totally different when it comes to Styles as he is the master of his own that he uses exclusively, which is the DarkSlayer, the only style we actually both share since I can wield the Yamato nearly as good as he can." Dante explained. "It's a bit of Trickster and SwordMaster mixed together that grants the user a teleporting skill to various positions surrounding the enemy, and through mastery of the Yamato, Vergil can access powerful range attacks that even tear through reality. I'm limited to just the katana use though, but Vergil has access to all that I mentioned before and what he learned through magic and sword mastery."

"Oh, I can certainly vouch for that when he saved us from the demons the first time they appeared." Ritsu said as Azusa pointed her arm to get Dante's attention.

"Also, if we remember correctly, you were able to create a copy of yourself." Azusa mentioned. "Was that also a Style you have, sensei?"

"Ah, yes, the kitten has good memory…although that was more likely given to me than developed from pure skill actually as something in that tower years ago did something to make my shadow become that way, which is why I didn't bring it up until you did. Thanks for mentioning it, kid." Dante said as he patted the twin tailed girl's head gently as to praise her while she responded by giving a smile at Dante. "It's basically my shadow taking physical form and doing what I command it to do as it uses my other equipped weapons and attacks, but I can't exactly use my Devil Trigger like I usually do in order to boost my strength and recover my wounds, but still gets the job done in delivering the damage once you utilize it properly."

"Man, having just one of you is good enough, but I'm not sure how we could handle two of you around, sensei." Ritsu lamented with a curl of her eyebrows.

"Aw, you make it sound like that's a bad thing, Ritsu. Having two of me around to clean the clocks of the demons can help out a lot at times, you know?" Dante asked as the tomboy replied.

"Yeah, true, there's the positive." Ritsu said with a nod of her head. "So, you said that Style or rather ability was given to you?"

"That and one more Style I haven't told you about, QuickSilver, which grants the ability to control time around me." Dante replied. "This one is quite more fun to for me, though, as it helps do all sorts of things in the space of when I start to use it."

"Hold on, YOU can manipulate time, too?!" Ritsu exclaimed as Mio looked on wide-eyed at her teacher, wondering just how capable of a hunter he really is. "How the hell is that possible?"

"Just like Doppleganger, I fought against one of the guardians of the tower I confronted Vergil all those years ago and it had the ability to control time around itself, mostly consisting of slowing things down to a crawl, though." Dante explained. "And as a result, its power transferred itself to its new host after defeating it in battle, which was yours truly."

"An ability in which you can make an exact copy of yourself and the ability to slow down time….I can only imagine the implications of when you put those to good use, Dante-sensei." Mugi said simply as Dante nodded to her.

"You're certainly right, ojou-sama. I get pretty creative with most, if not, all of my unique moves during a fight, but then again, Yui and the kitten had the privilege of seeing me in combat, so they can tell from experience on how efficient I can be in a fight." Dante said as the two mentioned girls nodded to their friends.

"Sensei is right, everyone, it's just like he said when he came to both me and Azu-nyan's rescue, he's really awesome in fighting. That's why it will be best for us to let him and his friends help us get stronger for the bad demons that will show up again." Yui said with a determined tone as Ritsu folded her arms and spoke.

"So, quick question, sensei, now that we know about your Styles and what they do, is there any possible chance we could be getting them too?" the tomboy asked.

"Of course, why did I know you were going to ask something like that, you tomboy?" Dante asked as he approached Ritsu and started to pull on her cheeks like Sawako did the night before, making her groan at him. "What is it with you wanting to have our skills so badly, huh?"

"Heey, I only want to be strong enough to watch over Mio-chan and the others in case things get rough, that is all, honestly." Ritsu said as Dante ceased teasing Ritsu and sighed at her.

"I can tell you just want what is best for everyone, but you got to remember that you got to prove yourself both mentally and psychically before you can come close to earning the right to possess such skills. I just don't want a cute and loud girl like you to ending up like Vergil when he went looking for more strength years ago and almost had to pay the price with his life." Dante told her sternly as he patted her head. "And for that to happen, you got to prepare both for what's to come, because abilities like that will demand a high level of human skill to adapt, and you kids have quite the feat to make it happen. So, don't be in a rush, okay?"

"Alright, I'll shut up about it for now, sensei." Ritsu said with her arms folded. "Still, I wish I knew the point for doing these exercise first before we get to learn how to truly defend ourselves."

"Well, Ritsu, maybe he's starting off simple for us to get used to things that could get tough later, like how he tested our running earlier?" Mio asked. "It's probably to start increasing our leg speed, if I guessed correctly."

"That and to start increasing stamina, you'll need some extra endurance to along with your exercises. The longer you can hold out training your bodies, the more they can get adjusted to the exercise so it will become easier. Some leg training to tone out the muscles in your thighs should do the trick." Dante replied. "Of course, you can always gain faster speed in a flash by sacrificing some Proud Souls for the ability to increase your natural speed, but it's going to cost you plenty."

"Proud Souls? What is that, sensei?" Yui asked as Dante inquired her as he opened his palm and showed the group of girls several medium sized crystallized orbs that had a frozen white flame in the broken shells. She and the other girls gasped at how they looked like highly valuable ornaments.

"Think of it as extra rewards you get for successfully completing a hunting mission, basically currency in demon form next to Red Orbs, which are crystallized demon blood. Proud Souls are actual souls of pride filled of noble blood. They come in heaps, but the use for them is pretty choosy, so using them to enhance your abilities as a hunter is a must." Dante said as Ritsu cut in.

"I see, so you actually can buy abilities and skills to enhance yourself, huh?" Ritsu said as she leaned in to Dante. "You wouldn't happen to have some of those to loan us so we can get some of those enhanced abilities you spoke about, huh, sensei?"

"You got to earn them by yourself, kid. Proud Souls aren't rewarded as freebies." Dante replied to the tomboy with a big grin as he folded his palm to secure his demon currency, making her pout at him.

"Mouuu, you're stingy, sensei." Ritsu muttered as Mio sighed.

"Don't be like that, Ritsu. It's like he said, I'm sure you'd have to train like non-stop to be able to move as efficiently like Dante-sensei and his brother." Mio said as Dante nodded.

"She's right, though it's still possible with your human bodies and gain quick reflexes once you've adjusted to the training. Lady herself has been in the field long enough to move proficiently against demon behavior, and I've seen other humans do their thing under their own experience and were able to pull some crazy ass feats too. Like this guy I met some years back, I invited him to come over and help drill you girls into shape since he's seen plenty of experience dealing with monsters even twice his size, but he's got his own agenda ongoing right now, so he's pretty tied up at the moment." Dante explained. "Kind of a shame too, I'm sure he would have loved meeting you five though, he's good with kids."

"Was this the same Chris Redfield you told us about before, sensei?" Mio asked as Dante shook his head.

"Nope, but this guy I'm talking about did run into him one time during those bio terrorists attacks in both Tall Oaks and in China almost 3 years ago. Not only he's a top ranked secret agent trained by the US government who personally knew the former President before his death, but he was formerly just a rookie police officer who went through the events of Raccoon City on his first day and helped uncover Umbrella's secrets to the world with a help of a couple of other survivors, including Chris's sister, Claire Redfield." Dante explained. "His name is Leon S. Kennedy and he's one of the few humans outside of my job that I trust the most since he's a contact for the government and I need my inside intel for dealing with monsters that aren't demons. I actually did a couple side jobs with him, to be precise."

A couple of days prior, before the rest of the Devil May Cry team gathered in Japan, Dante was busy arranging people he met who can assist him in training the Hokago Tea Time and any able person in their town to prepare for the demons in case they attacked and to at least minimize the damage. He had already contacted the DarkStalkers female trio and the Avengers by now, all that he needs to do is find Leon's number and call him up.

A few moments later, on the other side of the world inside an underground facility, an American male apparently in his late twenties, sporting short parted dirty blonde hair, thin cheekbones to match his combat experienced appearance and a thin blonde stubble, wearing a black jacket and pants with a gun strap attached around his shoulder, was surveying the area with his pistol drawn out before he advanced further. Behind him, was a long haired brunette woman who had stayed as his partner since the C-Virus outbreak attack incidents in Tall Oaks and in China, also wearing a gun strap that matched her casual clothing of a small vest jacket, shirt and brown jean pants.

"Watch my back, Helena…those rogue agents can be anywhere in this place." The man said as his partner, Helena Harper, nodded quietly in response. Before he made a move, he felt his communication device vibrate and thought it was urgent enough to respond if it came from Hunnigan, his agency's intelligence operator who relays him about the situation at hand. But seeing that it's not her, but Dante instead, he let out a small chuckle and answered it by pressing the device to show Dante's face as he spoke.

"Hey, Leon, what's going on?" Dante's voice rang out as Leon recognized the friendly tone of his devil hunter companion.

"Dante, you know you have some weird timing sometimes. But then again, can't say I missed your voice." Leon replied, in his own snarky tone as Helena silently looked at the two men conversing, not wanting to interrupt them but feeling that Leon trusted the person he was talking to as not to ask him question right away. "Do what I owe the honor of being called on during a secret mission on my end?"

"Ohhh, caught you during a heavy time at work, huh?" Dante asked. "Well, I'll make it quick for you. I don't want to spend anymore on my international rates on my phone than I have to anyway. Leon, I was wondering if you're interested in taking charge of some drilling instructions for some young friends of mine in Japan, knowing you're quite the expert on combat and survival skills."

"Hmm, you're in Japan, huh?" Leon asked. Maybe that is how the two had been able to get along so well since they aren't afraid to mince their words in conversation. "I take it you're on a mission then in that country now?"

"Yeah, I'm after some sneaky demons right now and I want to make sure to minimize the damage the time they strike, have some prepared hands to help out, so to speak." Dante said. "Although they are just ordinary schoolgirls I'm training right now, they do want to get stronger and be able to fight since they know what is it that's targeting them, so I guess if I called in one of America's top secret agents to come over and give them an advantage…"

"Okay, now you're overestimating my skills, Dante." Leon said with a grin. "It's true I'm in high demand though, but I wouldn't take it that far."

"So says the guy who fought hordes of zombies, mutant monsters, angry mobs of infected villagers, a secret cult AND rescued the former president's daughter all by himself during his career. Not to mention, survive and fought through three major outbreaks caused by our old buddies from Umbrella and a clone of your first crush. Sometimes I wonder if you know the extent of your popularity in the defense business, man." Dante said with a grin of his own. "Come on, Leon, I'll be sure you are paid handsomely for the time you're staying over, also, are you pretty much still single? I'm sure with all the awfully cute foreign girls in the country, you're sure to find someone nice, or are you still hung up on that Ada chick?"

"Hey, despite everything she did, she still helped in stopping Simmons for good and Umbrella from resurfacing. She just likes to work solo in her own way most of the time." Leon replied with a sigh. "I do get your point though, I've been spending some spare time training some rookie agents during my off mission times these days, maybe getting to know these schoolgirl friends of yours would be an interesting switch for the awhile. But…"

"Let me guess, there's a problem, right?" Dante asked as Leon nodded.

"A major one, the agency has been getting reports lately of the leftover strain of the Ouroboros virus left behind by Albert Wesker had gone missing and we're looking for leads to retrieve it from somewhere in our world, the problem is locating where it was last known to have been picked for containment." Leon explained. "I don't want to think Umbrella, Tricell or Neo-Umbrella is resurfacing, but we're not taking chances. So I'm on a high profile mission with my partner right now to investigate where they could be coming from in one of the abandoned facilities."

"Damn, didn't think it was that serious, but then again, I thought the issue was already contained long ago when Chris dealt with that God-complex freak." Dante said as he noticed Helena watching him through Leon's phone. "So, is this your partner?"

"Yeah, I don't think you guys have met, this is Helena Harper." Leon said as Helena nodded to Dante. "Helena, this is the guy who helped me out awhile back in taking down some of those monsters while you were on temporary leave some months back, but he and I go way back since after the Las Plagas mission. This is Dante Sparda."

"One of the Sons of Sparda himself, huh?" Helena asked in a surprised tone, as her reaction must indicate she must have known about the legend surrounding Sparda and his sons. "I've only heard stories about you, it's really a surprise to me you and Leon are old friends. It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

"Likewise, Helena, Leon's told me how you can hold your own in a tight situation. That's just the kind of woman he needs for his line of work." Dante said with a grin as Helena smirked at his comment.

"Just doing what I've been trained to do, I wouldn't have it any other way. But getting back to the issue at hand, something must have let the info of the remainder of the virus slip through the cracks, so we're getting to the bottom of this. All we can tell you is that you got to keep an eye out on your side for anyone who could be infected with the remaining strain or at least showing signs of it, we may need to contain them for safety until we can cure them." Helena said solemnly as Dante sighed and nodded.

"Alright, since that's the case, I'll leave you two to your job while I work around mines, thanks for the heads up about the virus strains though." Dante replied as he felt disappointed that Leon couldn't join to help train the Hokago Tea Time since he had other priorities, but it seemed for the best judging from what Leon said earlier. "Well, I'm sure there will be others suited enough to handle teaching the girls the know-how in combat and survival, I'll just deal with it as it comes."

"Take it from me, Dante, don't be too hard on them, but at the same time, see how much they can push to their limits and see how they can go as humans, they are young and agile enough. They should adapt with no problem with enough training and discipline." Leon said as he looked to the side of his screen. "Anyway, I'd like to catch up more on old times, but I got to keep pressing on my mission. If you want anything, you can talk to Hunnigan regarding the victims who have been infected by the strains."

"I got you. Alright, be careful on your mission, Leon, Helena. Hopefully we'll talk again soon." Dante said as Leon nodded at him in return as he ended the call then thought to himself. (Just great, I'd thought it will be fine that I will just be dealing with the demons, now Umbrella's leftover mess is going to be mixed up in this too? I better tell Vergil about this to get his say about the matter before we make any big decision in terms of how we're to train the girls later.)

Back in the present, Dante had finish telling the girls about who Leon was and how exceptionally skilled he was in getting out of dangerous situations even though he was human and although he omitted the new dangerous situation presented from the runaway strains of the T-virus from them, he ensured that he would find another way that they can still be able to learn how to defend themselves and combat the demons.

"Ehhh, so this Leon guy who is just a regular guy like us, is sort of a badass like you, huh, sensei?" Ritsu asked as Dante nodded.

"Pretty much, those who were Raccoon City's survivors more or less had undergone some kind of survival training to endure the crazy conditions thrown at them, same went for Chris or probably even Sherry Birkins, who just so happens to be a junior agent in the same agency Leon works in and also went through the whole Raccoon City mess when she was much younger than all of you girls and recently during what happened in China just after she turned eighteen." Dante said. "In any case, since Leon can't join us, I'm going to have to leave things up to Vergil to assist along with some other buddies I got coming over who knows the way of fighting to instruct you as well. Gamora, who you met last night, also know how to handle herself in combat and opted to help out instructing you girls later."

"Ohhh, I wonder who else is going to come and teach us, please tell us, sensei!" Yui pleaded with her teacher as Dante shook her head, knowing she just wants to make even more friends later.

"One new friend at a time, kid, you already met a bunch of them yesterday, anyway." Dante said simply with a grin. "All I can tell you is that some of them may or may not make you uneasy like the DarkStalker girls you met, they all have some scary story to accompany them."

"I was afraid you were going to say that, sensei. In any case, you sound like you have a lot of faith in their skills." Mio lamented, wondering who else of Dante's friends have scary qualities about them and shook it off as she didn't want to ponder on it too much.

"Oh, yeah, they can dish out as much hurt like me and Vergil in terms of dealing with their targets. You just have to see them for yourselves in action and take my word for it. Anyway, I know you five are already geniuses in the music club, doing this shouldn't be too difficult as long as you stick to the rules and everything we'll be teaching you." Dante said.

"Heh, geniuses…you know, that doesn't sound too bad when you put it like that, sensei." Ritsu said as she scratched her nose while Mio shook her head.

"Somehow, I think you're enjoying this a little too much, Ritsu. I wonder if that's a bad thing to be concerned of?" Mio said as Dante spoke in return.

"Well, I know Ritsu is always the one looking forward to this the most, but let's hope she doesn't regret it later." Dante said casually. "In any case, since Leon can't make it to help train you girls, that will have to sit with me and the rest of the team and my buddies coming over, so you're going to be covered in most aspects of combat, if not the most important ones."

"Man, about time, Dante-san. I wonder what kind of stuff you'll want us to do?" Ritsu asked, stretching herself a bit.

"Hold on, let me get a few things out of the way first." Dante called out as he lowered his gaze. "In order to build enough strength and stamina to endure a fight against a demon, you guys will need to be pushing yourselves more than what you normally do. What I'm saying is that you're going to be working even more twice as hard if you want to get stronger. Think of this as preparing for a long music tour you'll be doing for the whole country with your loved ones lives on the line…think you're up to it?"

"Well, if it's different from the regular lessons at school, then we'd just have to be prepared mentally for them, right?" Mugi asked as Dante nodded.

"You got that part right, however, you're going to be taking on things with your body, which means you have to endure my exercises to build your strengths in order to react faster in a situation." Dante said. "Of course, the way Vergil and I did it when we were kids, we lasted for hours. I'm not too sure if I want to put that kind of strain on you girls…"

"We…we already made up our minds, Dante-sensei!" Yui said with her fists shaking. "I know it's going to be rough, but please, you got to get us ready for the demons, we'll be okay!"

Dante smiled slightly as his student's enthusiasm as the other girls were staring at him with determined faces as well when he sighed.

"Okay, we'll start small. First, make a couple of laps across the forest track and make your way back here. I've placed markers on some trees that you'll recognize where to go so you wouldn't get lost, you'll see them when you approach them." Dante said as Ritsu spoke out.

"More running again!?" Ritsu looked at her silver white haired instructor. "Is that all?'

"I said before you girls need to develop strength in your legs if you want to move faster first. Demons are rather quick, so you need to have some good reflexes to either avoid an attack or just fast enough to get some distance between you and them." Dante took out a practice sword and waved it to the direction they were supposed to go. "Now, get to running and no slowing down, because I'll be timing you guys. And no breaks until I say so, or else I'll know you're lagging behind."

"Okay, okay, off we go!" Ritsu said as she broke off into her run as the other girls nodded to each other and follower her. They all ran in formation with each other as Dante observed their running speeds and how long they can endure several laps before thinking to himself.

(As I thought, the tomboy's got quick legs used for P.E, but Yui's getting tired soon after several seconds of running.) Dante thought. (The others are holding up rather nicely, but…let's see how things go first before I give an evaluation.)

However, by the sixth time the girls returned from running their laps across the forest track, they were pretty exhausted by now as they aren't used to jogging for several miles at a time over and over compared to their regular P.E classes. Dante let out a disappointed expression towards his female disciples.

"Come on, is this all that you girls made of?" Dante gave a light shake of his head and sighed as he saw the tired out female music club sprawled out on the field grass. "You're going to let the demons make quick work of you if this is all you can muster."

"Give us a break, Dante-sensei, we're not like you." Azusa cried out as she was in a kneeling stance, her long ponytails shaking about as she panted heavily.

"Yeah, like she said." Ritsu said, holding unto her knees, heavy sweat dampening and falling off her exposed forehead. "We usually don't do P.E for this long, but this is almost too much for even us to go on..."

"Well, I can understand that this is a bit different from the usual classes, but I'm still disappointed at your level of stamina. You usually aren't like this during class activities though. I wonder where all that energy went?" Dante asked as Yui lied on her stomach and stretched out her arms.

"I…I can't move anymore…" Yui said, moving her body side to side. "Give me…cake…"

"No, Yui, no more cake until I start seeing some effort." He said in her direction. "Come on, you guys need to take this more seriously. Don't you want to be ready for the demons and to be able to defend yourselves in the long run?"

"Of course, but not like this, sensei!" Ritsu complained. "You guys had it easy because you're demons too!"

"True, but Vergil and I still had to practice, exercise, and train everyday to get this good, you know?" Dante replied. "Plus, we had years to do that, but you girls may only have weeks or probably less than that at least before the enemy can attack. And this is just only the beginning of things to come later, there's a whole lot more than it looks on the road to fighting devils on my level."

"Awwww, man. I knew it wasn't going to be easy." Ritsu kicked her feet to Dante's response as Mugi gave a quick smile.

"I…I don't mind Dante-san's training to be hard." Mugi said between heavy breaths. "Actually, this is kind of exhilarating from what we normally do if you look at it like that."

"I…I think I feel the same as Mugi-senpai." Azusa nodded. "I think we…can just keep pushing like this…for a while longer at least."

"See that? Even the ojou-sama and the kitten are managing it, I'm sure you can too." Dante said, getting over to Yui to help her up. "I know you're just human, but you got to keep your eye on the prize here, got it? Sawako's depending on me to toughen you guys up before anything happens, I'm just doing what I can to contribute for an old friend and her classmates by playing my part."

"Gomen, sensei…I know you're doing this because you're a very nice person, but…there's so much I can do right now…" Yui said in a low and tired tone. Dante knew the girls did have a limit to their psychical abilities, and it's likely that it was too soon to push their boundaries if they keep up like this, so he decided to keep it moderate and try a different approach when an idea came into his head.

"Well, if that's the case, I can always talk to Ui-chan and advise her to put you on a strict diet for a couple of weeks or so, cutting you off the sweets for awhile also sounds like a good plan too." Dante said casually with a small grin as he scratched it. "Knowing her cooking skills, she'll probably make it harder for you to enjoy all those sweets which usually making you tired and out of shape…"

"No, Dante-sensei! Not my precious sweets! Aaauuuu….." Yui groaned in a tired tone when she heard her teacher's statement.

"Come on, don't 'Aaauuu' me, Yui. Sometimes, you just got to push yourself just a bit further than usual to be a better player. Or would you rather stay sloppy while the demons chase after your close friends and relatives instead, hmm?" Dante asked as he noted Yui changed her expression when he mentioned those closest to her.

"N-no! I wouldn't want to let them down, Dante-sensei!" Yui replied as she shook her head fervently. "I did say before I'll do everything I can to get stronger, at least let me try some more, onegai?"

"Fine, you know I can't win against a cute, pleading face like yours." Dante sighed at his student. "Just as long as you and the others know how much you can carry on till your bodies get sore, you don't have to overexert yourselves for the time being. Say what, just a couple more laps around the track and meet back here, we'll have a small break and then we can move onto something else. However, this jogging routine will be happening every time you here so you'd better get used to it."

"Hai, we understand, sensei." Azusa nodded in response, still fighting back the tiredness that was mostly holding her young body down. "I think I can go again a few more runs if everyone is up to it."

"Yes, I think I'm good for another one, Azusa." Mio nodded to her as Ritsu groaned getting up on her feet.

"Yeah, like they say, sensei. I'm raring to go once more." Ritsu said as Mugi joined in.

"So am I as well, sensei. Like I said before, this kind of exercise is quite exciting once in a while." The blond pianist said as Dante nodded at the group.

"Alright then, go and do your thing then, girls. Meet me back here soon and we'll have a small break." Dante said as the girls nodded at him and all left in unison jogging once more, he can see that they still are able to endure more of the usual exercises than before and with a little more development in their progress, he can see them getting used to the routine exercises with little trouble soon.

(Now that they're getting used to adjusting their stamina levels, what next is on the table for them?) Dante thought to himself. (I guess I can lecture them a bit on the demons that exist for now for starters…)

The girls returned sometime later, still tired as they were before from all the running they did, so Dante allowed them to rest their legs and go on a small break. During this time, while they ate from their bento lunches, (Ui, who ended up preparing more than she did for the previous evening's dinner, was kind enough to allow Yui to make a bento lunch for Dante who accepted it graciously and commended her cooking skill when he finished her lunch once he found it extremely tasty, while Ritsu prepared tasty riceballs for everyone since rice was her favorite food) he lectured them more on the history of the demons, their behavior, varying types of elemental properties they were based on and what type of weapons they were weak against. The girls were amazed from the amount of information Dante knew all about demons and how he deals to his students, especially when he told them the story on how he singlehandedly took down a flying demon whale from the inside in his younger days during his quest to stop a once power seeking Vergil.

"You actually killed a giant, flying demon whale, sensei?" Ritsu asked out loud being the most curious of the group as usual as Dante nodded solemnly.

"It was actually one of its kind, but yeah, I managed to take down huge ass demons like that before in my during my starting career." Dante said. "Getting to the core was a pain, it was like being inside a living maze with caverns, stomach acid filled puddles, and all the stuff it swallowed in its lifetime, it was wild. And to top it off, getting out of there getting soaked in all that blood after I gave it a heart attack was even more worse….oh, Mio, I must be giving you quite the vision, so I'll stop now."

"Please do, sensei, I don't think I can handle visioning what that must have looked like." Mio groaned as Yui spoke.

"Sensei must have fought tons and tons of demons by now to know how to fight them efficiently, but how will that work for us when we're just ordinary high school students?" Yui asked as Dante explained.

"Well, like I said before, kid, if you have a basic grasp on their behavior and attack patterns, you should come out on top. But the most important thing about combating demons is the amount of information you get about them, because you never know if they have something you didn't know before, so I suggest you girls get a journal and take what I told you about them with a grain of salt." Dante said as Yui nodded. "I only told you about the ones I encountered when I was a little above your age, but the newer and recent ones have advanced stuff that will require some finesse, so always keep yourself updated on the demons you encounter."

"Okay, so we're to stay informed about the demons we meet, I got it." Azusa said as Dante called out to her.

"Good thing you suggested that, kitten, because I have an idea that will make that easier for you and your friends here." Dante said. "Knowing you girls always are never without your latest technical gadgets to keep in touch with each other, I asked Patty to take some of the current info on the demons that are around now and compile them into a collection of notes to be sent to each of your portable phones and gadgets. Think of it as a demon's encyclopedia on the go so you'll be kept up to date. Just be sure to leave me your contacts and I'll have Patty send them to you later. She's pretty handy with computers to an extent, but not as much as Vergil who is a master hacker and won't get as much time to do it himself at the moment."

"Wow, that really sounds smart, coming from you, sensei. And I thought Vergil alone was the brains between the two of you." Ritsu said as Dante raised an eyebrow at her comment as he roughed up her tied up hair a bit, causing it to get uneven.

"Hey, just because I don't look it, doesn't mean I don't have my own smarts too, or else I wouldn't know how to deal with noisy brats like you by now." Dante said as Ritsu giggled at his antics, which seemed similar to that of a close, elder relative to her. "You'd do better to remember that, got it?"

"Okay, okay, ease off the hair, moouuu, sensei." Ritsu said pouting at Dante as Yui and Azusa giggled and Mio grinned at the pair because of their interactions with each other.

"Alright, now that I've told you some more of my crazy stories during our little break, we'll get back to some exercises with some sit ups and some stretching. Got to tone down those abdominals and extra fat you may have, after all. Then afterwards, we'll wrap up the training for today early since I have some other plans for the evening getting things ready for you girls." Dante said.

The girls nodded to Dante's words, encouraging them to look forward to the training for the rest of the day with ease as they were soon prompted to do some regular P.E exercises that included some stretching, push and sit ups. After about half an hour of both routine exercises, Dante called out to the group who had pushed themselves more than usual today compared to when they are at school activities.

"Good, now that you're getting used to increasing your stamina and gradually toning your muscles, we're going to move onto mock weapons training soon, but that will wait till tomorrow after all the hard work you did today, good job, girls." Dante said as Ritsu panted heavily.

"Sheesh, and it's only the first day too. If each day is going to be like this, I'd better brace for the worst for my body." Ritsu said as Dante spoke hearing her words.

"I know it's going to be demanding, but I can see you're getting used to the length of time you're spending on each routine just nicely. I think with some extra lessons thrown in along with what you're learning right now, you girls will become exceptionally skilled fighters with the right amount of training." Dante said with a grin.

"Well, we just have to give it our all like we always do while during our daily practice sessions and stick to routines if we have to." Mio said with a small nod as she looked at Dante. "But so far, you're being really helpful with getting our bodies used for the training so far and gathering as much help as you can to lessen the likely damage the demons can cause, sensei, I'm impressed you can do all that despite your laid back personality."

"You know the saying: You can't judge a book by it's cover. But, to actually hear you say you're admiring that I'm dedicating my time and resources for your sakes means I'm doing my job as your sensei right, Mio-chan?" Dante asked with a snarky grin, which caused her to fluster a bit as she turned away.

"It-it's only because of that I'll be depending on you the most, alright, sensei?!" Mio exclaimed, showing her tsundere side as she pointed at him. "I still think you're a huge flirt who likes to play and tease around a lot for your own amusement, but on the good side, you do know when things are serious and how to deal with them before they could get worse, so I'm not totally against your plans."

"Hey, I'm just enjoying my time around pleasant ladies such as you and your friends, Mio-chan. You know you can stop being so tense and just leave things to me and my crew." Dante said as he patted her back. "Just like last night when you took Nevan and played it without any fear, something like that may come in handy getting you some more courage to face the demons soon, though, something I'm sure me and Vergil will be sure to help you with in the long run."

"I-I understand, sensei. Arigatou." Mio solemnly said, bowing to Dante lightly as he turned back to the group.

"Anyway, we better call it an early day soon. We'll pick up where we left off tomorrow at the same time." Dante said. "I know you girls got quite the road ahead, but it's not going to be all too bad once you get used to it. In the meantime, I'm going to see if there's some way to get you girls something that can even the playing field against the demons, since you brats don't have powerful demon blood like me, Vergil and Nero."

"What is it that you had in mind, sensei?" Yui asked as she was curious to her teacher's plans. "Are you going to have another surprise for us by tomorrow?"

"For now, it will be my little secret. No need to jump to the best part yet while you're still preparing yourselves." Dante said with a small grin at the short haired brunette. "For now, get back home safely for some rest and do some studying for class, we got a busy week ahead for all of us."

"Hai, sensei." The girls said in unison, as Yui and Azusa wondered what is it that Dante was planning to himself knowing the situation, but they trusted him enough to have the better judgment of the situation and left things to him while they gathered their equipment to leave for their homes. As a bit grueling they thought their first day of training went, they all found it and the time they spent with Dante and each other enjoyable.

"Oh, man. How I missed my daily intake of cold beer in the morning." Dante said as the moment he returned to his apartment from training the Hokago Tea Time, he headed straight for the refrigerator for a can of cold Japanese beer and took a chug from it. He had already gotten used to the different tastes of food served in Japan, but it was the alcohol that he was getting to admire with each new discovery of their kinds of drinks. And being a son of Sparda helped plenty since he can drink to his content without any of the effects humans get.

"Sooo, how did it go?" Patty's voice called out as she was in the room, wearing a red track suit. She seemed to be trying on clothes to put on for school events later as Dante can see a couple of new boxes containing clothes in the living room. She must have gone shopping while he was out. "Are Azusa and the others capable for what you got in store for them?"

Dante let out a sigh as he emptied the can and spoke to Patty. "They seem to have quite a way to go from the looks of things. They can manage some of it, but the demons aren't on a waiting list either, we need to get them toughened up as quickly as possible for worst to come, Patty."

"It's a little bad than we thought, huh?" Patty asked as Dante nodded his head to her.

"They are as human like you and your newfound friends at school here, kid. They are able to adapt to the instructions I give them with hardly any problems, but experience and strength is something they will need as well to build." Dante said. "We just have to push them some more while I get Vergil cook up a plan for them to be able to be at least combat ready."

And as if on cue, the door opened and Vergil stepped in the room, looking a bit more restless than usual, something not common with him to be known to Dante unless something actually made the elder Sparda step out his usual routine of his calm and collected appearance during last night and Dante can guess what it was.

"Hey, Vergil, you're back." Dante said simply noting how quiet Vergil was when he stepped in. "I'm guessing you must have such had a wild night with Morrigan, you stayed for the after party, huh?"

"Hmph, still that brain of yours is deep in the guttering, I see." Vergil simply said as he noted his brother's appearance. "But enough of me for now, the arrangements I made with her went off without a hitch for the most part."

"Ah, good, then that means you have obtained it then?" Dante said as Vergil nodded to his brother, taking out a broadsword he had in his possession. Dante let out a small whistle as he nodded his head at how the sword bore a similar design to the Force Edge. "Heh, hard to believe that the old man had more than more legendary weapon to his name that he left it with Morrigan's old man in case another powerful Sparda sword was needed, that's a smart move."

"So far, it's worked as efficiently as the Force Edge with its own unique power, I think it will be of good use once I manipulate it secrets." Vergil said as he took back the sword from Dante. "Now, did you hold your end of the promise for those girls and started training them from today?"

"Oh, yeah, things went off well enough." Dante said as he took another can of beer and threw it for his brother to catch. "Vergil, those kids are still leagues from defending themselves given the time they have to prepare for the demons. Even if we drilled all that we learned of fighting to them, they still have to shape up and have the mindset of a hunter to survive an attack by a demonic wave."

"I feared the same scenario, Dante. Although they have great mental aptitudes, they are still only human and the limits that can pose will certainly hinder what we expect of them in order to fight the demons should they attack soon." Vergil said as he sipped his can. "What do you suggest we do for our young, female musician companions?"

"Sigh, I know it's a bit of a long shot, but…" Dante leaned in closer to Vergil as the elder brother leaned in to hear his sibling's words. "…I was wondering if it's possible we can somehow kickstart their possible hidden abilities using our powers."

Vergil stepped back as he pounded his fist unto the table, rocking it a bit. "Dante, even from you, that's an absurd idea! Do you know the grave consequences if such a thing were possible?!"

"Hold on, just hear me out, okay, guys?" Dante put up his hands. "I don't mean officially give them our most unique traits as demons, Vergil, but at least a booster of sorts for their present skills. It could be me, but you can sense something in those girls, but can't exactly identify it ever since you met them, right?"

"Hmm, now that you mention it, I do sense an unusual feeling within the Hirasawa girl every time I'm around her. It's…unsettling at times, but it's also, pure and…calming to a sense." Vergil stated as Dante continued.

"Right, that goes double for me too. What if that's the same reason they are being targeted by the demons?" Dante asked seriously. "The girls don't know it yet, we may have an idea of what's going on, but for now, I think something is dormant within those girls just waiting to be brought out under a certain condition. There was that time the tomboy was able to hold Agni without anything happening to her the moment she grabbed the hilt when they were here the other night. Other than me, no one else had picked up that sword without getting burnt but her and there was that time Mio-chan was able to use Nevan last night."

Patty widened her eyes as she heard this and shouted. "Then how come you didn't put things together until now?"

"Like I said, there's something about them we don't know about just yet, but some of it's starting to come together and make some sense." Dante explained. "I'm guessing they may have a few hidden traits of something the demons could be fearful of, and they want to get to them before anyone on both ends can realize it."

"And you assume we use our heritage to bring out these latent skills that could be hidden within them?" Vergil asked. "What is it that you could be wrong and they end up getting hurt, Dante?"

"Yeah, uncle Vergil's got a point. As much as I like to see Azusa and the others being able to fight, it's a very risky thing to do." Patty said as Dante nodded to the pair.

"I get you, guys, but for once, I'm hoping my hunch on this is correct. My demon senses never lie to me when I know there's something unusual with the people I'm with, and there's something definitely going on within those five as far as I can tell." Dante said. "Besides, the girls trust me enough to ensure their safety through this, I'll deal with whatever mess happens if I'm wrong by myself."

"I hope you won't regret those words if it does, Dante." Vergil said seriously as he emptied the can and walked off from the table. "You just let me do the work of preparing what is required for our young musician group. I have gathered enough dark art knowledge to compile how to transfer a fraction of our power to those with little to no demon influence from the time I spent with Mundus combined with the time I spent with the Aensland family. Just give me some time to myself."

"Thanks, Vergil, I knew I couldn't do this without you." Dante said as Vergil sighed to Dante's statement.

"You better hope this little plan of yours will work, as experienced in demon magic we currently are, we shouldn't really endanger those girls more than they already are." Vergil said. "Although, I agree as well that they will need a hand in gaining the strength needed to defend themselves from the enemies if time is against us."

"Okay, you go and get your preparations set or whatever you do when magic casting is involved. With Nero, Trish and Lady on the other side of town, they agreed to do some patrolling on their end in case any of our unwanted guests decide to show up early." Dante explained. "There's also the thing with our other buddies from the Avengers and Fenrir arriving soon, if I recall. Want me to be the greeting party this time around?"

"If you're not too busy, that won't be a problem." Vergil nodded at Dante. "Just be ready whenever I want your assistance in preparation of those required items you need Yui and her Hokago friends."

"Don't worry, I won't be far. Oh and another thing, I called up Leon earlier to ask if he can come over and give us a hand, but you know how his job can be, so he's a no show. Anyway, he told me that there's another Ouroboros strain on the loose and we should be on the lookout for whoever could be running around trying to be the next Albert Wesker." Dante said as Vergil sighed heavily.

"Of course, leave it to him to dump his forbidden science to further complicate things for the rest of us…" Vergil said simply as he too wasn't keen on Albert Wesker's ambitions on world domination through changing humanity into his twisted vision the first time they encountered each other several years ago and that hasn't changed presently. "I guess we have something extra to do in the meantime as long as we deal with training the Hokago members uninterrupted like we planned."

"I'll give Trish and Lady a heads up about that since they should have the time and resources to look into it. It's not the first time they freelanced fighting other monsters than demons for cash anyway." Dante said as he started to get out of the training clothes he was wearing and started to get into his signature outfit as Patty looked on at her guardian. "What is it now, kid?"

"I can't help but wonder what could happen if the girls actually have something that makes them potential targets, but we won't know unless you see for yourself if they have some kind of supernatural lineage within them by using your power, huh?" Patty asked, feeling a bit worried for her friend, Asuza.

"I know you're concerned about the kitten and the other's safety, but it's like you said, we won't know until we grant try something." Dante said, giving Patty a concerned look. "But to be on the safe side, we'll just give them only the weaker versions of some of the stuff we use, then it's up to them to take it from there."

"If that's the case, I hope they will know how to put what they get to good use." Patty said as she heard her cellphone ring as she picked it up to answer. "Hello? Oh, Mom! It's good to hear from you! Yes, yes…I'm enjoying my time here in Japan a lot. I've been able to meet lots of new friends ever since I got here too."

(It's Nina, huh? Of course she'd want to know if her daughter's been giving trouble since she left her in my care.) Dante thought to himself as the devil hunter thought of the tall, long blond haired woman who was known as Nina Lowell, Patty's biological mother who she had to leave in an orphanage several years ago following her husband's death and have been in hiding from his enemies, some of them from his wicked family who had chased Nina and Patty for their fortune. Dante may have resolved the matter by saving her from them, but recently she has been spending time focusing on settling the matter of making sure Patty becomes the true owner of her father's fortune when she comes of age through court battles and the surviving members of her late husband's family who didn't want her and Patty to inherit the money.

(I hope the broad's doing okay though, the whole courtroom drama must be putting a strain on her.) Dante thought as Patty chatted away on her phone telling her about Azusa and the classmates she has made friends with in her own class along with the Hokago Tea Time. Then she looked at her guardian as she held the phone to his direction.

"Dante, mom wants to talk to you for a bit." Patty said as Dante took the phone and began to spoke to her in his casual cool tone.

"Ms. Lowell, to what I owe the pleasure of this conversation?" Dante said as he continued getting his clothes on as the woman on the other end spoke.

"I just wanted to say thank you again, for going through the trouble of taking Patty with you on your little trip. It sounds like it was a good idea to get her away from the city considering there could still be demons or rather, evil people, who are after her life and the fortune." Nina spoke as Dante gave a reply.

"Hey, she's become my responsibility over the years whenever you're in trouble, the most I can do is treat her to an out of the country vacation so she can enjoy life a bit." Dante replied. "Maybe whenever you're done with what's complicating your life, you can probably join her too, Nina. She still needs you as a mother, you know."

"I'd like too, but…not right now, especially when things have gotten dangerous again." Nina said solemnly. "I don't want Patty going through what she did again all those years ago. And she seems more trustworthy of you than ever, just give it some more time and it will be over soon."

"Man, I hope so. The kid is helpful keeping things in order, but always ends up turning the office into a dollhouse that it sometimes drives my customers away, it's bad for business sometimes although I do win over some customers with the decorating." Dante said as he put on his gloves. "So, how's the case coming along, if I dare so ask?"

"Well, it's been rough, but proceeding better than I thought thanks to you suggesting that lawyer, Mr. Phoenix Wright and his assistant, Maya, to me." Nina replied. "I had no idea he was such an acknowledged accountant of the law until I saw him in action, he's really been pulling through for me."

"Luckily for me, he was in town just before I left the States and I told him someone I knew needed some court assistance. You just leave things to him, Nina. He may be young, but he has won enough cases under his belt to warrant him a worthy guy for your case, you'll and Patty will be swimming in that dough with no troubles soon enough." Dante said with a grin.

"That I'm staying hopeful for, the sooner this is over with, the better." Nina said as she looked at her wristwatch. "Anyway, my break is almost over, can I speak to Patty a bit more?"

"Okay, don't push yourself out there, Nina." Dante said as he handed back the phone to his surrogate daughter as he continued preparing himself to leave the apartment once more and meet some more of his other accomplices in the demon hunting business. "Now then, I just hope I haven't kept Alisa-chan and her buddies waiting too long."

Just on the outskirts of Japan, a group of people were overlooking the horizon of the modern day city they were headed to in a private carrier plane. The group consisted of two women, and four males. One of the women was Japanese while the other was of a Western European nationality, as the men's group men were all Japanese heritage. Apart from the differing outfits they were wearing, they all branded large red circular metallic rings around their right wrists.

"I'd never thought we'd find ourselves in this world where there's no Aragami to worry about once more." One of the women, the one born of a Western nationality spoke as she wore a large, red pleated beret cap, a black open short tank top with suspenders and pleated skirt. She had short dirty blond wavy hair and a slim figure to add as the clothing she wore fitted her revealing appearance well. "It does appear more peaceful than the one we're used to, doesn't it, Soma?"

"Yes, it does, Alisa." One of the Japanese males, a tanned young man with white cut bleached that hair that partially covered his blue eyes, wore a green hooded shirt that covered his head addressed the woman simply in a somber monotone reaction. "In a way, it feels like a relief we're here so we can afford not to go all out if there's trouble."

"Still, that is not to say this place could get boring during our visit. I'm sure you kiddies can't wait to try out all the good food and booze in this world." The third male in the group spoke with a cigarette in his mouth, this one bearing an interesting resemblance to Dante only that he had black hair that partially covered his left eye and was also wearing a red leather coat with markings and buckles decorating its back with a golden lion insignia. "Now, according to our contacts in this world, the demon our buddies at Devil May Cry are looking for has been eluding them for a good while now and doesn't want to come on out, so we're to make sure to help investigate if what we're dealing with isn't an some form of advanced Aragami."

"If that's what we've come to deal with, Lindow, as our intelligence isn't far from what the Sparda twins had learnt of their enemy so far. Has Dante informed you where and when we should be meeting him, Alisa?" One of the women, a tall dark haired Japanese woman with short cut hair and was wearing a simple vest like dress spoke now as the woman named Alisa returned her comment.

"He did say he won't be hard to miss once he gave his coordinates to locate him, now that we have an easier time getting access since we've gotten familiar with this world's environment. Still, we shouldn't take chances with the authorities in this world, so we should stick to low ground until we locate him." Alisa said as she turned to one of the other young males in the room, a black haired male with yellow eyes, spiked up black hair and was wearing the same kind of uniform the man named Lindow had, but his coat being green. "This may be a good chance to cut loose for awhile, right, Lenka?"

"Huh? Uh, right…we can certainly do that, I guess." Lenka muttered as he couldn't help but keep looking at the ground below him that hasn't been touched and corrupted by his natural enemy, the Aragami and thought as well that it looked more peaceful compared to the time he and his comrades travelled from as he was deep in thought. (Amazing…everything here is just like in those old books I read about our planet before it was ravaged. Nee-san would have loved to see this…)

"Lenka, don't look so serious all the time, man." A red haired Japanese youth who was part of the Unit, wearing a beanie hat and wearing a vest spoke in a cheerful tone as he patted his friend's shoulder. "We've been really dealing with nothing but Aragami for awhile now, a little break from the action will do wonders for us."

"So carefree about this mission, that's Kota for you." The tall Japanese woman spoke as Kota turned around to his comrade.

"It's not like that, Sakuya! We've all been working hard, aren't you looking forward to a break too?" Kota remarked as Sakuya shrugged her shoulders.

"Whether we will have it easy or not, we're still on working time, Kota. So we shouldn't do anything here that will get the higher ups mad at us." The woman replied in a fair warning as Lindow pulled the cigarette from his mouth and looked at the group.

"Alright, kiddies, nee-san went through a lot of trouble authorizing this mission for us, so when we meet up with Dante, let's try our best to look good in front of him, shall we?" Lindow said as Alisa gave a silent nod as she reflected in silence on meeting up her distant demon slayer companion and twin brother once more with a soft smile but that didn't take long as she spotted a signal she recognized on an open area as she noticed a large imprint of Lucifer's arrows in the field marking towards Dante at the centre as the demon slayer looked up at the carrier plane carrying the Unit.

"There he is!" Alisa called out to the group as Lindow looked down and smirked as he signaled the pilot to land on the spot where Dante stood. After the plane touched the ground, the alternate demon slayers stepped out as Alisa and Soma were the first to meet Dante as Alisa ran to meet the demon slayer.

"Yo, Alisa and Soma, it's great meeting you here again." Dante called out to the pair as Alisa gave a small greeting bow to Dante while Soma nodded in silence to him as the rest of the group followed after. "Sorry I had to pull you from your time to help take care of my mess, but I thought this would be something up your alley. Wouldn't want you to be left out of the hunt now, would I?"

"We did have a debt to repay after the last run in with you and your brother, so of course we were hoping to find a way to do that. After we told Lindow and the others about you and this world, they were curious about it, so we were surprised we were contacted from you needing our assistance and had to take the opportunity." Alisa spoke as she looked around the area as if taking in the scene. "It almost feels weird seeing everything here looks safe and untouched by Aragami though."

"Oh, you'll get used it, now that you have some more time to kill here at your own leisure. I say enjoy it while it last." Dante said as he looked at the remainder of the group. "Looks like you got some faces I haven't seen before."

"Oh, right, you haven't met Kota and Lenka yet. They only heard stories about you but I'm sure they will be pleased to meet you." Alisa said as the red haired boy stepped in front of Dante and gave a confident grin and bowed at him.

"Kota Fujiki, at your service." The boy said. "Alisa and Soma said you're a pro in fighting monsters, I'd hope to join you in some action soon, Dante-san."

"Well, you sound confident enough to hold your own in the field, but don't be looking forward to fighting too much, or else you'd miss out on all the other fun stuff this world has to offer you while you're here, kid." Dante said as Sakuya watched the two interact and spoke.

"Dante-san, I hope you're not implying something illegal for Kota to do during his stay here in your world?" Sakuya sternly said as Dante put up his hands.

"Whoa, babe, I was just showing the kid some Japanese hospitality. How he uses it is up to him." Dante said as he gave a small greeting bow to Sakuya. "Besides, it's not healthy to be that uptight in a place like this. You need to learn to chill when it's required."

"I see you're as laidback as our leader, but then again, perhaps I may I have gotten too used to things back in the ravaged future, Dante-san." Sakuya gave a small smile to Dante. "In any case, I do hope Alisa's and Soma's testaments about your skills will be proven true when the time comes. I'm Sakuya Tachibana."

"Both Kota-kun and Sakuya-san has had a fair number of Aragamis taken down and even work better as a pair." Soma said. "They shouldn't be underestimated despite their appearances."

"Well, they did manage to get their hands dirty on more than a couple of occasions, if that's what you're asking, especially Lenka over there." Lindow said as he called the young Japanese man with the upright kept black hair over, who nodded and walked over to the pair of male hunters. "Dante, this is Lenka Utsugi, a recent new member of the 1st Unit and standby captain. He's also a proficient New-Type, second best to Alisa as he is a quick learner. He even took down the most powerful Aragami while gravely injured."

"You look like you mean business, kid." Dante said as he examined the young man, who managed to keep a straight face while being observed, although Lenka was feeling slightly nervous enough as he was standing in front of the more known Son of Sparda whom he have heard of from talks among his fellow 1st Unit comrades. "Yeah, I can tell you're giving them Aragami hell, kid, but have gone through a lot too. Just looking in your eyes, they say a lot about you."

"You read me quite well, Dante Sparda-san. As I must say the same about you, the one who sealed the Demon Emperor, Mundus while still in the prime of his career." Lenka gave a firm stare at Dante before bowing to him. "I look forward to working with you and your fellow hunters as well for the mission."

Dante nodded as he looked over to Lindow who put out his cigarette and came over to Dante as he took a look at him. "Now that I look at you in the flesh, you do happen to have some of my looks."

"Hey, now, no one can dare come close to me and my bro in terms of being the most handsome devil." Dante smirked at Lindow. "So, you're the leader of this bunch, huh? I bet your superiors must have made things for you getting here difficult."

"Oh, we have an understanding higher up or two who pulled a few strings to make our being here possible." Lindow replied. "Still, they were highly convinced about this mission when they were told about what we can profit from coming here."

"I haven't forgotten our deal, which we will get to dealing with as our other guests should be making their way here any moment now." Dante said as he looked up at the clear blue sky. "You guys will be among the first to meet some real life superheroes in this time on this side of Japan."

Meanwhile, in the Quinjet that Black Widow and Hawkeye were travelling in, they had been following the signal to where to find Dante's location and using S.H.I.E.L.D's superior technology, were able to pinpoint it as they flew over Japan's waters. Once their navigational systems accurately showed the meeting area to meet Dante and they located him on monitor for confirmation.

"There he is, he sure likes his presence to be known, huh?" Black Widow said as Hawkeye pointed to the monitor in front of him, indicating where to land since they can see Dante at the landing point gathered with the 1st Unit group. "It looks like we didn't have to search far for him."

"Alright, time to land this bird and meet our acquaintances." Clint said as he docked the Quinjet where they landed the special aircraft with ease on the ground. The pair stepped out of the small carrier plane as Dante stretched his arms to greet them.

"Black Widow and Hawkeye, it's nice touching base with you two once again." Dante said as he and Black Widow shook hands upon meeting them before Hawkeye greeted Dante like an old accomplice. "How's the Big Three back on your side doing, not tearing up the Helicarrier in their squabbles, I assume?"

"Well, not yet anyway." Black Widow replied simply with a coy smile. "Tony and Steve are the ones doing that more and more these days though, so it's no surprise nothing major has started yet."

"Give it time though, Dante. Those two still have a thing to pick with you after that party you caused one hell of a mess that the commander is still mad about on the Helicarrier though." Clint said as Dante sighed.

"Hey, all that was Tony's idea, okay? Who would have thought the man was such a party animal that can rival mine's, huh?" Dante smiled a bit as he noticed the Fenrir group looking towards the Quinjet's direction and it's occupants.

"So, they too came to help out as well, huh?" Black Widow asked as Dante nodded.

"Yeah, they will get the job done, despite half of them looking like kids. Come on, let's get everyone to mingle before we get down to business, huh?" Dante said as they walked towards the group across from their direction.

"Alisa, meet two of the Avengers that came to help us out for the time being, Black Widow and Hawkeye, at your service." Dante said as Black Widow and Hawkeye bowed slightly to the monster slaying group as Soma spoke solemnly.

"Hmm, is it true what they say about you, Hawkeye-san?" Soma asked as Hawkeye looked at his direction. "That you never miss your targets, no matter where they are?"

"My aim is always dead on, kid. I've yet to miss my mark even if they are on the run." Hawkeye replied smugly as he reached for his mechanical customized bow and took it out to show the group. "I can give you and your buddies a demonstration on how good I am, if you like."

"Certainly, I'm curious on how truly skilled you are with your archery." Soma said as Sakuya spoke from watching and overhearing the conversation as a thought entered her head.

"That's an interesting concept of a weapon you have, Hawkeye-san. But will it do enough damage against the demons we're to face later?" She asked as Hawkeye replied with a shrug."

"Well, it is fitted with enough technology to deal with outside invaders and rogue cyborgs, so yeah, it should be adequate for the job, I guess." Hawkeye replied to the tall Japanese woman.

"If you like, we have an expert on weapons development and enhancing that could outfit it with some anti-Aragami ammunition and for long distance precise attacks. Something like that in your arsenal can do immense damage if you're to snipe them from a vantage point." Sakuya said as Hawkeye whistled.

"Hey, that doesn't sound like a bad idea, lady. Although we got some neat tech brought over too, it wouldn't hurt to try out some new things." Hawkeye said as he walked towards the group's aircraft as Soma followed the pair.

"It's nice to see you guys already hitting things off well." Dante said as he turned over to Alisa's direction. "I do have some other guests on the way, but they won't be here until tomorrow or the day after the most. For now, I can tell you the details of the plan while I get you to where you'll be staying until this thing blows over. Considering your group's experience with tracking otherworldly monsters, I may want you and Lindow over later to discuss some things with me and Vergil, if that's not an issue."

"Not at all, we'd be glad to give you an input on what is it you could be facing. That is why you called us over, right?" Alisa asked with a smile as Dante replied.

"Well, other than catching up with the lovely ladies such as yourself and Sakuya after our last run in, I did have more in store as long you're not too occupied." Dante replied as Lindow came over to him as he patted the hunter's back. Now that the group of heroes and hunters can look for themselves, the two men did look like a parallel version of each other.

"Hey, Dante, you sure have eased up on the flirting these days. Is the age catching up to you?" Lindow asked with a bit of a snarky tone as Dante replied as he looked towards the other Fenrir members, some of them he hasn't met before.

"Just taking it easy as I got some new responsibilities, you'll see what I'm talking about when you meet her." Dante said in a monotone reply.

He's also a proficient New-Type, second best to Alisa as he is a quick learner."

Dante said as he examined the young man, who managed to keep a straight face while being observed, although Lenka was feeling nervous enough as he was standing in front of the more known Son of Sparda whom he have heard of from talks among his fellow 1st Unit comrades. "Yeah, I can tell you're giving them Aragami hell, kid, but have gone through a lot too. In your eyes, they say a lot about you."

"He may be a straight faced kid, but he's no pushover. I'm sure you and Vergil will get along with him just fine." Alisa said as she looked on at the Quinjet and the Black Widow standing next to it. "So, you're the Avengers we keep hearing about, huh? Never did thought we'd be fighting alongside some real superheroes."

"Nor did we imagine we'd be meeting up with people from the future who exterminates monsters. We've done some checks into Fernir since we were told other people are going be helping Dante and his team during this hunt, Alisa." Black Widow said as she introduced herself to Alisa and her group. "The rest of the team will be joining if things go out of hand, but for the time being, Dante wants the two us to oversee the training of his student group for the time being."

"So, when will be meeting these promising young musicians of yours, Dante?" Alisa asked as Dante responded as he was conversing with Lindow and Lenka.

"You will soon enough, Alisa dear. I gave the girls some starter training earlier today and now they are resting off until tomorrow, which will give me enough time to share my plans with you guys." Dante spoke. "But first, I promised the Guardians that are already waiting for me we'll be meeting up with them for some drinks, so let me take you guys to my favorite drinking spot in this side of Japan where they are waiting for us, then we'll discuss things from there."

Meanwhile, in an airport station situated back in America, a young woman in her mid twenties with long flowing black hair and sporting a white and black striped vest and jeans with a jacket over her chest was carrying her suitcase on wheels accompanied by a younger girl who looked similar to her in both facial appearance dressed in a bodysuit. After stopping at the terminal gate, security personnel checked her contents as one of them nodded to the pair.

"Alright, you're cleared to go. Your seats have been arranged exclusively for you, Miss Kinney." The officer said as he looked behind him. "Uhh, is he coming along with you two?"

The woman, known as Laura Kinney, sighed as she turned around to the male dressed in a red and black striped bodysuit, his face partially revealed around his mouth which looked horribly disfigured as his raw skin was showing while he ate on what it looked like a Mexican delicacy. The younger girl shook her head at the sight of how the man actually was coming along with them.

"Wade, you know you're making us look bad, right?" The young girl, named Gabby Kinney, said as the man named Wade Wilson simply finished his meal and spoke through filled bites.

"Hey, kid, where we're going, chimichangas are sort of low in demand, okay?" Wade inputted with a pointed finger as he put on his mask, his white colored eyes lowering their gaze at her. "I got to put away as much of my beloved food before we go over to sushi land where even more of their weird cuisine awaits my stomach."

"Just as long you don't end up hurling all over the place when we're airborne, Wilson. We're not exactly on a flight we funded on by ourselves, you know." Laura replied as she folded her arms. "Dante himself went through the trouble of giving us a chance to go to a place Gabby always wanted to go and we can't mess it up because of your manners."

"I know, mommy. I'll try to behave myself, but I'll hold no quarters since I'm also busy promoting Blu-rays and DVDs of my movie and there will be hell to pay if my shipment of that stuff gets lost in customs. I went through a whole lot of BS just to have that stuff shipped for my eager fans across the world, you know?" Wade said as he leaned closer to Laura. "Still, for the pretty boy and his stick in the mud brother to call us over for help like this, something big must be really setting up to happen, I bet you."

"No kidding, especially since the good Doctor Strange recently felt something was wrong in the astral plane and wanted us over to Japan as quickly as possible." Laura said with a worried expression. "Not to say we're going over our heads with this one, but we're going to need to watch ourselves more carefully when things get hairy."

"You said it, Laura! Now let's go forward, wayward ones, we have a due date with some butt ugly demons across in Japan and a meeting with my beloved Japanese schoolgirl fanbase!" Wade exclaimed as Gabby cut in.

"Oh, please, Wade, stop deluding yourself, as if you have any adoring fans from that side of the world." Gabby said with a weary sigh as she looked at Laura. "I do hope he doesn't mess this trip for us, I always wanted to visit Japan."

"I know until Wade reunites with Dante, he'll behave in some appropriate way, but yeah. It's a pretty sweet place, Gabby." Laura said as she went into a bit of an advising tone. "Just remember what we're really going for, though. We can't afford to relax just yet."

"I understand, Laura." Gabby replied as the three managed to board their flight without any further problems soon after, while the Laura's thoughts shifted to hoping to meeting her once past otherworldly ally soon would go smoothly, despite the newly role she took up as a superhero under her father's codename, the original Wolverine aka James Howlett, who died some time ago.

(Man, is Dante in for a few surprises when we get in touch base with him across in Japan.) Laura thought with a mild smile to herself.

Shardclaw: Sorry again for the very looong delay, folks, but once again, I wanted to put in another quality chapter with plenty of interaction and development again, (so much that I had to split some sections from this chapter for the next one to come in order since I have so much ideas going on for this story right now) especially with the recent set of inspirations I been given ever since I got the platinum for DMC 4 SE sometime ago (Truly one of the more challenging feats since conquering the hellish original Dante Must Die on DMC 1) and been viewing certain media both anime and comic wise to help me get ideas for those fight scenes and characters that will appear later. So far as you can guess, Vergil will have his awesome new Force Edge and Beowulf added moves from all the games he has them in so far, so expect Trish and Lady's moves showing up later as well.

And yes, finally Deadpool has made his appearance in this story, and I hope I portrayed his wacky persona well so far given how much of a raving nutcase he is. I personally loved the recent movie and while some of his personality in the story will be based on it, it will also be based on the past cartoon appearances and from his video game as well (expect some moves from that later) and he has brought along X-23 and Gabby for the ride. In case you're wondering, Laura will be definitely be donning Wolverine's suit as the new version of the hero from the current comic, but will retain her UMVC3 moves-list. In any case, I do hope any of the mutants from the previous VS games will make an appearance for the recently confirmed Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite for next year, despite the ongoing FOX ownership of the X-Men cinematic universe drama.

Also, I based the God Eater characters from the anime series which I recently got to watch since I needed some ideas for the story, and made me start seeking out the recently released games soon as possible since the series gave me quite a teasing cliffhanger at the end, but I did hope I portrayed everyone from the franchise well so far.

Now things are starting to pick up both action, character appearance and story wise as the Hokago Tea Time will soon begin to develop some form of combat skills while the demons have begun reveal themselves to the rest of the peaceful city. What move Dante and his team make now that their targets have made their move first? In any case, things are beginning to shift on a massive scale for both parties.

Also, I wanted to give the story a little background in the RE universe as well, since the DMC franchise is pretty much a rejected form of the classic RE series, hence Dante's interaction with Leon in this chapter and the past references, especially since not just because that they are good buddies at this point, but they both share the same Japanese voice actor as well. Also, that part of this chapter was for one of its devout followers, DarkSpecter141, who dropped a rather nice suggestion based on the Resident Evil lore for this story that I will be sure to use later. Speaking of RE, who else is hyped about that RE 2 remake that was announced awhile back, as well as RE 7 on the way? RE2 was a game I would like to see done in current gen settings since it was so popular and high in demand for a remake like the first game, which I finally got to play the remastered HD version some time ago and enjoyed the experience and now, there's already quite a few fan made ones that was built using the Unreal engine and you can watch the entire playthroughs on YouTube. Some of them are pretty impressive and it's probably a glimpse of what we'll be getting in the remake since the team behind the best looking fan created game 'RE2 Reborn' is currently assisting Capcom in the remake, which is good news.

Now, personally, I don't get the all hate that RE6 got, it did have some good characters and scenarios, but Simmons sucked ass hard as the villain, I'll admit that. I thought Jake Wesker was a decent guy and set a new tone for introductory main characters alongside Helena and Piers, the same way DMC 4 gave us Nero, so I'm hoping he gets another RE appearance eventually.

Anyway, I ranted quite a bit, so I should close off the chapter and get started with the next one to be out eventually soon. The girls step up in their training with Dante and his team while they discover some new unique results and they also get to meet the God Eater group and some more heroes including a rival of Dante from the Marvel universe who came along for the ride and the knowledge of the demon's existence goes public,.
