Prologue

In a dark world stood a girl, she looked to be about 18 years of age but in reality, she was much more older than that. She had beautiful peachy pink hair that reached down to her hips and rosy red eyes that sparkled with happiness. She stood at about 5'6'' tall and had a slim figure. Upon her face, she had a small smile as she looked up at her father figure, the girl spoke, her voice sounding like wind chimes, it was as if she was almost singing.

"Well I'm off. Is there anything that I need to know Igneel?"

"Remember what I told you, you need to look for Natsu, my son and watch over him. But also try to fit in with everyone down in their world." Igneel spoke as he looked down at the girl. The girl looked through the portal that separated this world to the human's, before she looked back up at Igneel, a tear now threatening to fall down.

"I'm going to miss you. Lots." She spoke, sadness laced her voiced. She was going to miss him, he had been there for her for most of her life.

"Yes I know child, but remember this isn't your first time being in that world so you'll be fine. But if you need me, you can always contact me and I'll contact you when I want or need updates or for anything else." He spoke again to her, he too would miss her but his pride got in the way for admitting that detail. He spoke again before gently pushing her through the portal.

"Well you better go then. Take care of yourself."

The girl stood on an empty road, she looked both ways, debating on which way to go and thought to herself before heading north. It was only two hours late she reached a small village that was surrounded by farms and saw some men surrounding a blonde haired girl. The blonde-haired girl looked to be 17 years old and had keys on her hips but what the pinkette noticed was that this girl looked frustrated and angry and thought she must have run out of magic energy to continue fighting.

The pinkette ran to the scene that laid before her and punched and kicked each man and after a small while, she managed to chase away all of them. She turned to the girl and finally noticed she was slightly injured, she spoke.

"Are you alright, miss?" Her voice was laced with kindness. The blonde nodded and smiled in return.

"I'm fine. By the way my name's Lucy!" Lucy's voice sounded kind yet had and energetic side to it, the pinkette smiled in return.

"I'm Hikari, please to meet ya!" Hikari laughed as she shook hands with Lucy before pulling the girl up as she was on her knees.

"I'm a mage but feel embarrassed that you had to save me. So thank you."

"It's ok. I'm a mage too. I did notice your keys, so you're a stellar spirit mage then? I do light magic and Take-over magic." Hikari replied, Lucy looked surprised but then smiled in return.

"I'm heading to join Fairy Tail, a magic guild. Wanna join me?" Lucy asked eagerly. Hikari thought about but seemed hesitant about it, she asked Lucy a question.

"Is a mage called Natsu Dragneel a member of Fairy Tail? He's also known as Salamander."

"Yes he is. Why?" Lucy answered, but was curious as to why Hikari was asking such a question.

"A favour for a family friend. It has something to do with Natsu. Anyway, sure I'll come with you." Hikari answered, a huge smile on her face, Lucy beamed and then the two headed out the village and onto the next town.

It was a month later that they knew each other a bit better, Hikari learnt of Lucy's past and Lucy had learnt of Hikari true identity aka her big secret. At first Lucy was a little shocked and possibly a little scared but Hikari reassured her that she would not hurt her. And plus at the end of the month they were best friends and couldn't hide too much from one another, yet Hikari managed to hide her past. She kept THAT hidden, and maybe in time she would tell that story.

After another month of travelling that came upon the town Harujion, a big fishing town. But as they enter this big town they didn't know it would be the start of their big adventure and that this would be where they meet a certain dragon slayer.

Author's Note: If you are re-reading this prologue you are probable wondering why I re-wrote it, correct? Well it's just that I decided the read the story over to help with writing the story and noticed a HUGE mistake: That the previous prologue didn't and wouldn't match the storyline and so I decided to re-write it, sorry about that but it had to be done.

If you are reading this for the first time ignore what I just said in the previous statement and ignore the notice at the end of the story and it will be removed soon enough. (Probably when I decide to update with a new chapter, not sure when.)

Thanks for reading,
