Last time

Just then the door opened once again.

"Hey Gary, what's taking you and Paul so long? Drew and I even had to…" the speaker then almost started to lecture the two boys when he lifted his head and froze.

From the corner of my eye, I could see that May and Misty froze too.

When we analysed the situation, the only thing that came out of my mouth was, "Oh my god…"

Misty's POV

I froze in my spot and stared hard at the people on the other side.

He was there, looking at me too.

He was there, staring at me with a mix of emotions swirling in his eyes. A mix of relief, sadness and guilt all mushed into one.

He deserves it, the jerk.

I looked at May and slightly frowned. She looked like she was about to burst into tears at that very moment.

I then glanced at Drew and saw that he was looking at May longingly and I saw immediately the truth- he wasn't cheating on her and he loves May just like he said the last time that they talked. May just wouldn't believe him and broke it off with him.

This was 3 months ago.

From the corner of my eye, I saw May then rush down the stairs.

Leaf then called out, trying to stop her, "May!"

I looked at the boys to see that Drew had already gone. This can't be good- we can't let them see each other so soon!

I frantically raced down the stairs shouting her name and following her outside, the others following suit.

When we went outside, all we saw was a staring competition between Drew and May, like they were challenging how long they could last before they broke down in front of one another.

I glared at the boys and spoke, irritated, "What are you doing here?"

Paul then looked at us blankly, "We're supposedly here to 'relax', according to our manager."

Dawn raised her eyebrow, "And who's your manager?"

"It's Daisy."

I groaned and face palmed my forehead, realising what my eldest sister has been up to all this time.

The jerk then looked at me with a clueless look on his face. "You didn't know that Daisy was our manager?"

… Damn him and his cute face expressions.

I puffed my cheeks out. "No, she barely tells me any of these things."

The spiky haired brunette then sighed. "I guess you know why we were sent here huh?" He then smiled arrogantly. "We're here to make your lives brighter than it is already, you know, seeing that you all were pretty miserable without us in your lives."

Leaf rolled her eyes. "I think we're even more depressed now that you're here."

I sniggered at the comment as Gary frowned slightly at Leaf.

I then looked at them curiously. "Have you debuted yet? Since you said that Daisy was your manager…"

Paul shook his head, "We haven't debuted yet- We're planning to soon though."

I nodded slowly.

On the other hand, Drew and May were still looking at each other. It was like a staring competition to the extreme.

The first to speak, Drew, then took a cautious step forward. "Why are you running away from me?"

May, in turn, took a step back and glared at Drew, warning him not to come any closer. "Running away from you Drew? No, I think it's you running away from the truth. We are over, I told you that."

Drew clenched his jaw, "I told you, I didn't do anything- That girl came through my window and tried to kiss me!"

"Why should I believe you?" May exclaimed, close to tears.

I looked at Drew and caught his eyes. I gave him an apologetic look before telling the others to go up.

They obediently, although reluctantly, went upstairs. I saw May take a last glance at Drew and then go up sadly.

"Drew," I said, looking at him with a sympathetic look, "I know that it's really hard but… you've got to understand that she's kind of still in shock over what happened. She really does love you, you know."

"And I love her too…" Drew then ran a slightly trembling hand through his silky green hair, frowning slightly, "So why is it so hard for her to understand that?"

Ash then said plainly, "We're on the same page man."

Ignoring him, I pat the emerald haired teen's back and reassured him that everything would be okay in the end, then leaving Drew to go back upstairs.

The ignored teenager then sighed and stood next to Drew.

"Girls… Always complicated"

"Oh shut up, Ketchum."

~~.~~

"That stupid, annoying, cabbage haired freak" The brunette yelled, kicking the nearest object, resulting in hurting her foot. "Ouch…"

Misty rolled her eyes. "May, seriously- If you would just give him the chance to explain himself to you, I'm sure that-"

Taking a glance at Misty, Dawn silenced her and put a hand on May's shoulder. In turn, the girl groaned, "But I don't want to know. What if I was right all along and Drew was cheating on me with Angela?"

Leaf then blinked, confused with the situation. "Guys… I'm still really confused about this… What happened with Drew and May?" The other three then looked at each other, what was their story?

May looked at Leaf, tilting her head slightly. "Haven't I told you the story yet?"

Dawn laughed slightly, "May, all we remember was when you called us all outside in the middle of the night and ranted to us about 'That cabbage haired freak'."

She then raised her eyebrow, "Then how come you didn't stop me?"

They all then gave her the same sarcastic look that practically screamed 'Really?'

May laughed sheepishly, "Well, it all started when I was walking home from the station that night after I finished recording."
