Khalisah Al-Jilani waited outside the lift to the dock where the Normandy, silently fuming. Commander Jane Shepard had ruined her interview. Then the lift opened up and Chief Williams walked out. Hiding behind a mask of pleasantness, she walked over and intercepted the woman.
"Chief Williams? Khalisah Al-Jilani. Wusterland news. Care to answer a few questions?" She noticed a flicker of irritation across the chief's face.
"Sure. Here's my answer."
Al-Jilani looked up from the floor as the Chief walked away. She rubbed her jaw and cursed Williams. There were a few snickers from the C-Sec officers watching and none made a move to arrest the Chief. Growling, she stood up and brushed herself off.
:-:-:
"Tali'Norah ar Jaaya. Care to answer some questions?" The Quarian spun on her heels and glared at the reporter though her mask.
"It's Tali'Zorah Nar Raaya." She hissed and brought up her omni-tool. Suddenly Al-Jilani's cambot went insane, flying all over the place. It was easily captured, but Tali had gotten away. She went back to waiting next to the lift.
:-:-:
"Dr T'soni. Would you like to explain your mother's allegiance to Sa..." She didn't get any further as she was suddenly frozen in place and the Asari, calmly walked after saying she was lucky she had not flayed her mind. There were more guffaws from the C-Sec personnel. When the Stasis finally wore off, Al-Jilani quickly took off the joke disguise specs and mustache, making a mental note to sue C-Sec.
:-:-:
"Urdnot Wrex..."
*THUMP*
When she woke up later and rubbed the pen marker off her face, she mentally made another note not to interview Krogans and Biotic headbutts hurt like hell.
:-:-:
"Gar..." Al-Jilani stopped as her cambot fell to the floor, a small smoking bullet hole in it. She stayed silent as the Turian walked past, growling and mandibles flaring as he sheathed his sniper rifle.

Luckily she managed to get it working and just in time as the perfect target came into sight.
"Staff Lieutenant Kaidan Alenko. Khalisah al-Jilani. Wusterland news. Care to answer a few questions?" From her research, Alenko was the only one who wouldn't harm her. He played by the rules too much, plus he was a gentleman.
"I'm afraid my Commanding Officer has ordered us not to divulge sensitive information." He attempted to sidestep her but failed.
"Please. Surely as part of the Alliance it is your duty to ensure the human race feels secure." Alenko rubbed the back of his neck, then nodded.
"Okay fine. I'll answer a few questions." Al-Jilani had to stop herself from doing a victory dance. Finally she'd cornered one.
"Lovely." As she set up her cambot, she didn't notice Alenko fiddling with his omni-tool behind his back. "Right question 1:.."
"Err.. Ma'am. Should your cambot be smoking?" He asked concerned. God, he was right. The cambot was smoking. Al-Jilani put both of her hands on it, was about to open it up when it suddenly shot upwards, taking her with it.
"Argh! Help! Somebody get me down." She cried, kicking her legs as she hung by her arms. That was the last straw for the C-Sec personnel, who fell about laughing. The lieutenant was merely gazing upwards, a slight smile on his lips. He then calmly walked into the lift, which opened to reveal Williams.
"Hey LT. Shepard was... what the hell?" The Chief looked dumbstruck at the sight. Al-Jilani had had enough and began to yell.
"Oh you think you're all so clever. Don't you? I will get my revenge on you!" The lieutenant just smiled and leaned against the back wall, muttering to himself:
"And that's why I hate journalists.
