A/N: This is my first reading the books story. I hope I do it justice. I started this as a way to distract me from the fact that The Indigo Spell doesn't come out for another 2 days! R&R and let me know if I should continue this! I've already started to work on the first reading chapter so hopefully I'll get that out soon.
A/N 2: I don't own VA or Bloodlines or any of the characters. They belong to Richelle Mead.
Reading Bloodlines
Prologue
Sydney's P.O.V.
I looked at the letter again trying to comprehend what it was saying. It was simple in theory but not so much in practice.
Dear Ms. Melbourne
I found an ancient spell that gives the history of a person in book form. I took the liberty of making the books about you. Yes I know. There is no need to thank me. One of the things about this spell is that once the books are created, anyone who is thought to be important to either the person the books are about or might be important throughout the books will be transported to a room and they must read the book. Time stands still outside of the room so no one will miss anything important. It seems as though the spell worked very well because not only did it create the books about your time in Palm Springs so far but has also created 4 more books about what will happen.
Enjoy
Jackie Terwilliger
I looked around to see who else was in the room with me. Eddie, Jill, Angelina, and (my heart skipped a beat) Adrian of course. Then there was Rose, Dimitri, Queen Lissa and her boyfriend (I think his name is Christian), Sonya Karp, Mikhail Tanner, Trey, Abe, Guardian Hathaway, and of course Ms. Terwilliger.
As soon as I saw her I got angry. I pulled her away from the rest of the group. "Why would you do this?"
She gave me an amused smile. Because it's time we learned more about you. Don't you think?" She responded.
"No, I don't think! This is a horrible idea! These are my private thoughts!" I was so annoyed! How could she think that I would be ok with this!
"Well there's nothing I can do now," she responded. "We must read the books before we can go on with our lives."
"Fine." I respond angerly.
When we walked back to the group I saw that a few of the people were tense. Rose, Demitri, Eddie, Angelina, Guardian Hathaway, and Mikhail were on guard looking for a threat. Sonya was looking at Trey with wide eyes and Trey was looking at Sonya the same way. This was going to be fun.
When Rose saw me walk back over she asked, "Sydney, do you know where we are?"
"Yes," was all I said.
"Well would you like to enlighten us Ms. Sage?" Abe asked. I had avoided looking at him since we arrived.
"Of course. My history teacher, Ms. Terwillinger, brought us here to read a book," I said. Then I added reluctantly, "about my life since I've come to Palm Springs."
"How exactly did she bring us here?" Dimitri asked?
"It will be explained in the book." I responded.
"Sweet," Adrian, who I thought was just going to ignore me like he had for the last week, said excitedly. "We finally get to see what you really think about all of us."
Of course he would be excited about that. I really hope the part he wants to read about isn't in the books, but I doubted it.
"I think it will be cool too. Too bad I can't read about how you felt when you met me." Rose said. "That would have been even cooler." Thank God thats not going to be read. I might have been nervous when I first came to Palm Springs but when I met Rose I had been downright terrified.
"Well," I took a deep breath, "who wants to read first?"
A/N: I haven't added Marcus Finch because I don't know anything about him yet. After I read TIS I might find a way to add him but he won't be in for the first chapter at least.
Don't forget to review!
