A bright light, coming from the rising sun, is creeping inside the room. A married couple is sleeping in a king sized bed. The man slowly opened his eyes, adjusting to the light inside the room. Knowing that he cannot see a thing without glasses, he puts it on. He gave a glanced and stared at the woman beside him. Her small face is covered with her long brown hair, facing him. Breathing in a slow pace with her mouth slightly opened.

"Chihaya?"

"Hmmm…. Five more minutes… hmmm…."

She snuggled to the man next to her. She buried her nose to his neck and sighed. The boy just chuckled. He reached for her hair and swept it at the side. He smiled at her and looked up at the ceiling. Different memories flashed in his mind since the day they both bumped their backs at each other, the moment that changed their lives. He went back to the reality when Chihaya asked him.

"Why are you smiling at the ceiling?"

"I suddenly remember my…no… our childhood memories, together with Taichi." He smiled back at her.

She giggled and kissed him at the cheeks.

"Good morning, Arata."

"Good morning, Chihaya."

She giggled some more and prompted her head at his chest and looked at him. He embraced her, holding at her waist, and asked.

"What do you want to do?"

"I don't know… maybe we could play together?"

"Again? Don't you prefer another activity?"

"What acti-"

He cut her off by kissing her. It took her a moment to kiss him back. Then it turned into a kiss with contact between tongues. It lasts for a few minutes before they pulled back, without breaking their eye contact, and silently catching their breaths. They both smiled. Then, he asked.

"So, what do you think?"

"Much better." She giggled.

She moved to him until they are at the same position at the pillow, facing each other. She encircled her arm at his neck.

"I still can't believed that we're now in this situation. It's like I'm still dreaming. It is a good thing that I realized my feelings for you, before it's too late."

"Silly, I don't believe in "being too late". If you still didn't realize during that time, I will haunt you, even it will take me a lifetime."

She smiled and gave him a chaste kiss.

"Thank you, Arata."

"I love you."

He leaned towards her.

"I love you, too."

He claimed again her lips and gave her a brief kiss.

He stared at her for a minute. Then, he leaned for another passionate kiss that lasts for a couple of minutes.

"Let's go out, just the two of us. " He said

"But, how about -"

"MOMMY! DADDY!"

One tiny voice was heard outside their room.

"…him?" She laughed and they both sat up.

He opened widely the door of their bedroom and rushed to their bed.

"GOOD MORNING MOMMY! GOOD MORNING DADDY!" They are both laughing because of their son's energy.

"Good morning, Akira." He said.

"Ne, ne. It's a Saturday. Can we go somewhere?"

"Where do you want to go? She asked.

"Amusement park!"

"Okay. We'll go at the amusement park. So, prepare yourself. Come on, take a shower." She said.

"YEHEY! Thank you!"

He rushed outside their room. They both leaned at the headboard. Arata started talking.

"So… "

"So what?"

"That child takes forever to prepare, why don't we continue what we started?"

He whispered at her ear. And kissed her neck. She giggled.

"That would be perfect."

She leaned and kissed him. Suddenly, he throws the blanket to cover and continue their morning activity.

-THE END-

Author's note:

I hope you enjoyed reading this fic. This is my second entry here in FF. I just discovered Chihayafuru 2 days ago through Tumblr. Then after reading, up until the latest chapter, I'm shipping Chihaya and Arata. This story suddenly popped in my mind before going to sleep last night. Then, I decided to write this down. Hope you can leave some comments or any constructive criticism, especially my grammar. HUHU. Many thanks!
