As I entered the cave, Shira gave me a look of 'help me' that spread around her entire face. I pricked my ears and walked over, seeing that Jubilee was ranting her head off. Giving a sigh of frustration, I decided to interrupt her little 'chat'.

"Hey, uh, Jubilee, could I say something?" I said as kindly as I could manage, my claws penetrating the soil of the cave.

The female looked to me in surprise. "Why dear Diego, of course!" She gave me a grin of pure satisfaction. She creeps me out sometimes, I swear.

"I…uh, wanted to know what you were doing here." I shifted my paws and sat down gently beside Shira. I was gaining un-comfortableness around Jubilee.

She rolled her eyes and chuffled at me. "There really isn't any other place for sabers around here. Tanner and I just happened to get stuck on this weird boat thing, and arrived here after days over sea." She yawned and batted her eyes at me. "I guess we have to stay here for now."

I growled and stood up, sensing Shira's tenseness and upset nature. "I'm sorry, this isn't a saber heaven. To be in this herd, you would need to prove yourself. But you aren't herd material if you go up to any guy you see and gain a fake family with them." I bared my teeth in her face before flicking my tail and trotting out of the den. I needed some fresh air. I took some deep breaths and shook my head, heading towards Peaches. She could help me with what I needed to do.

As I got there, Tanner had joined me. Just great. Another annoying creature to stalk me. "What do you want?" I hissed.

He gave his drunk-like laugh and grinned. "I wanted to do some guy stuff with you. You know, like going swimming in the cold water or jumping off a high rock and seeing if we survive!" His eyes sparkled with excitement.

I was shocked by his behavior and swiped a paw at his face, causing the male to have a few scars left on his face. He cried out in surprise and pounced on me, causing me to lose my footing as we flew down the hill.

I tried to keep my balance as we rolled, and I got a few good blows on Tanner. But he had bitten my neck a couple times, and a large scar was left on my chin. As we finally stopped, I kept rolling slowly into the salty, cold water that rolled into the island. I closed my eyes in exhaustion and tried to fight the stinging pain of the water entering my wounds.

I heard pawprints coming towards me, and I barely opened my tired eyes to see Shira coming towards me. Taking a quick look around, I noticed that Tanner was calmly licking his wounds and talking to himself. I groaned in annoyance and in pain as Shira lay in front of me.

"Hey, we need to get you to Manny," she said softly, yet her voice held worry. I shook my head, but she growled and I quickly nodded. She sighed and found the huge creature's location before helping me to my paws.

Tanner approached me and chuckled. "Good fight! Let's do it tomorrow." He gave me one of his ridiculous grins, which I ignored. Shira muttered a few things to him as we passed, and he trotted back happily to the cave. I despised him from then on.

I know I've been gone. I have moved on from Ice Age, and I really am not in the mood to watch another Ice Age movie anytime soon. This story will hopefully be done with on Chapter 12 or something. I'm just not into the fandom anymore. I hope you understand. Because I keep getting awesome reviews on how good this story is, I'll continue it temporarily. But for now, expect slow updates.
