Kyoko's eyes widened with shock as Ren's lips pressed firmly against her own. Her pent up frustration vanished instantly and was replaced by a more primal emotion. An emotion filled with hunger and yearning. She was clinging tightly on to his lapels with both hands and a soft whimper escaped from deep within her.

The heat between them stirred Ren's flesh and he wanted to succumb entirely to the bewitching temptress in his arms. But the instant he felt her surrender, he abruptly released her.

"That shouldn't have happened," he muttered starkly, while he ran a hand furiously through his wavy dark hair.

His words jarred Kyoko back into reality and she was quick to exclaim, "No, you are wrong!"

Shaking her head, she clarified, "No, not you. What I mean to say is that I have been wrong!"

Dark eyes narrowed on hers, as Ren bore purposely down on Kyoko waiting for her to explain further. In a state of complete misery, she willingly obliged.

"I – I owe you an apology," her voice shook as she began, "I am sorry about everything."

Ren snorted at her words but he nodding in reply. With icy contempt, his words were merciless, "You don't need to be sorry about anything. The one that should be sorry is me, for even confusing our relationship with love. At this rate, even our marriage is a sham!"

"Please don't think that!" Kyoko cried desperately. With a voice that trembled in panic she pleaded, "I love you." Her small chin was quivering and she struggled to find the right words to make him understand.

Taking a deep breath, she carefully and deliberately, reached out to her tense husband and clasped his large hand. "I'm sorry, I said our love was filthy. I was so jealous when I saw Tina with you. I just couldn't believe that someone like you could ever love someone like me."

Ren stiffened visibly at the potency of her words. The vast amount of anger he had held on to, began to feel like a burden he could no longer endure. Longing to accept what she was clearly implying but unwilling to re-experience another rejection, he cautiously eyed her with a discernable amount of doubt.

"And now? Do you still doubt me?" Ren asked cold and severely.

Kyoko saw how taunt and rigid he had become. His rejection of her apology was even evident in the tautly clenched muscle of his jaw. But with clear and precise aim, she fragmented his last resolve when she lifted up eyes filled with love and remorse and said, "I never doubted you Ren. I just have never been good at love but I am trying."

Her vision blurred with tears as she whispered achingly, "Please – please if you could only bear with me a little, while I learn how to love."

All of his anger evaporated with her words and Ren's face softened at her plea, he could no longer stand to see her distressed over him. But there was just one more question he needed an answer to, one more mystery that needed to be solved, before he could let his guard down. With a deep breath, he asked meaningfully, while his eyes leveled on her intensely, "What about Fuwa Sho?"

Kyoko smiled weakly at his question, this was not an easy thing to admit to but it was time for her to mature completely in order to move on with life. Reluctantly, she straightened up and admitted openly, "I am grateful to Shoutaro and I only think of him as the person responsible for having led me into show business, so that I could meet you again."

Relief washed over Ren with Kyoko's final statement. Pulling her tightly into his arms, he whispered softly into her ears, "I can't believe that I am admitting to this too but I understand what you mean about Fuwa Sho. But God help me if I ever see him again."

Locking her arms firmly behind his neck, Kyoko lifted her face up to receive Ren's kiss. Both lovers clung on tightly to one another as their kiss deepened. Groaning against his heated breath, Kyoko abandoned herself to the pleasure of feeling Ren's strong arm slide possessively around her waist.

When the kiss finally ended, Kyoko drew back slightly and peered deeply into Ren's eyes. "What is it?" he asked when he couldn't read the expression on her face.

"It's about Corn," she voiced evenly, making Ren brace himself for what she would say.

His thoughts immediately drifted to his childhood and the fairy prince he pretended to be. "Are you referring to my real self, Kuon? Or the fairy I pretended to be?" he asked softly.

Seeing the downcast lines in his rugged face, Kyoko shook her head immediately, "Neither! That doesn't matter to me. I mean, it used to bother me but now I realise that we were only children at that time and you were only playing a game. But now that we are adults, I also know that you felt like you were stuck in that role because of whom I was when I was a child. So then, it doesn't really matter anymore. Now that we are both mature adults, let's just face the new day and cast aside the past nonsense."

Frowning with confusion, Ren lifted an eyebrow and coolly asked, "What did you mean about Corn?"

"Well, what I meant by Corn was the stone that you gave me," she began hesitantly, "I – I had lost it somehow – you know – later that night, after finding out that Kuon wasn't a real fairy. But I found it and I will never lose it again."

"Kyoko, that stone is only a rock. It holds no power, so even should you lose it again, it shouldn't matter. What matters is the stone that you are wearing on your finger now," he said tenderly, as he lifted up her hand and planted a gentle kiss over her wedding ring.

Her glazed locked with his and Kyoko bit back the words she had wanted to say. It was impossible to explain to her husband what Corn was – he just didn't believe for now. But as he lowered his head to claim another kiss, she made a vow deep within her heart that she would never forget how much Corn meant to her.

Although Kuon may not be a real fairy, he had given her a truly magical stone that had always rid her of her sorrows and brought her cheer. She would just have to spend the rest of her life showing him what he had given her as a child.

But that wasn't all, Kyoko realized as she sank further and further into his warm embrace. As an adult, Kuon had given her something much more powerful than any form of magic – his love.

It was a quiet and peaceful Saturday morning and a small crowd had gathered into the quaint church. With a minster standing in the front of the aisle and the tall groom standing beside him, the air in the church was thick with tension, as everyone waited for the bride.

Yashiro smiled widely as he stood next to Ren, he couldn't believe the day had finally come where he would be the best man for Ren's wedding ceremony. He remembered how he had often lost hope in Ren's ability to court Kyoko.

He even had to smile to himself about how he had often called Ren the relationship idiot. He was glad that he had been able to help turn the relationship switch on in Ren's brain. It was a difficult task but a very satisfying one.

If it weren't for all those times, when he had played a hand in making sure Ren's schedule would coincide with Kyoko's, he was certain that the two lovers would have never met up or gotten so close. With an inward smile he congratulated himself in playing an integral role in match making these two.

Lory was beaming with a smile that stretched from ear to ear, as he sat in the front row of the seated guests. Dressed in a formal army uniform he looked arduous and unapproachable. His thoughts however, were on the magnificent love story unfolding before him. As he studied the nervous tension on the young, tall, dark haired groom, he was feeling like a proud father.

He was glade that his plan to pair Kyoko and Ren up as the Heel siblings had help expedite their relationship. He remembered his joy and surprise at the first time he had found out that Ren had feelings for Kyoko. But that did not compare to how delighted he was now.

Their relationship had been as challenging as any PS4 or Xbox romance game he had ever played but it was worth every minute of it. With an inward smile, he was congratulating himself for finally defeating the final boss in their relationship - by forcing Ren to take Kyoko to the Japanese Academy Awards.

Kanae was the last of the three brides' maid to make the long, solitary walk down the rose decorated aisle. Where Amamiya-san and young Maria had been filled with nervous trepidation, Kanae was calm and composed as she gathered her pink and white bouquet of roses.

With a serene smile, she slowly marched down the narrow walkway, and took her appointed place in the front. Her thoughts gathered around the beautiful bride that was to follow behind her.

What a strange turn of events the last few months had been. All she had wanted was to seek help in building up credibility in her love scenes yet all of this had spurred from that. With an inward smile, she congratulated herself for being able to help her best friend obtain love. Though it was not entirely intentional, she was sure she contributed a great deal to bringing these two love birds together.

A strange feeling she had never had before suddenly washed over her, when she glimpsed Kyoko stepping out into the aisle. For the first time in her entire life, sentimental tears suddenly welled up within her and she had to blink back the urge to let them fall.

Kanae was not alone in her sentiments, as most of the audience in the church were dabbing at their eyes when the final strings of "Canon in D" played and Kyoko began to walk gracefully towards her intended.

With her eyes locked onto her handsome groom, she had a soft smile lighting her face. Never had she looked more radiant and beautiful then she did at that moment. The small audience sucked in their breath as the gorgeous bride, resembled an ethereal being in her silvery white ball gowned wedding dress.

Like a princess in a fairy tale, she wore her hair pulled back with a dainty crescent of crystals at the top of her head. Her bouquet of red roses were studded in crystals to match but a small, bluish purple stone, that was centered in the middle of it, stood oddly out of place.

As she reached her tall and handsome groom, she timidly smiled up at him and received a broad smile in return. The crowd watched in happy silence as the ceremony commenced but a few chuckled when Kyoko mistakenly called Tsuruga Ren "Kuon," while they were exchanging their vows.

Only a few people there knew that it was an intentional "mistake" but they did not let that knowledge show. When the ceremony was finally over and it was time to kiss the bride, there were a few loud whistle calls and laughter when the groom lifted his wife up for a long and passion filled kiss.

As the happy couple exited the church, and entered their awaiting limo, only three people remained transfixed and glued to the steps of the church. Yashiro, who was busy dabbling at the tears in his eyes; Lory, who was staring blindly at the watch Ren had placed in his palm; and Kanae, who was bright red from the kiss Kyoko had planted on her cheek before she left.
