I am back from the land of the dead!
I apologize for not updating any of my stories for a long time (especially this one). I have had the worst year of my life in 2014, first my best friends are all gone and then 2 weeks after I started A-levels one of my grandparents passed away and then 2 weeks after we got back from the UK my other grandparent passed away. And I basically lost all sense of spirit or motivation for my fanfics, but I'm back now and will hopefully keep writing more.
Sorry if this chapter isn't very good, I had a lot of writers block on it and well just had trouble with it.
Disclaimer: I do not own DGM
(Recap)
Lenalee just followed him, but not before glancing over her shoulder
But I thought I saw –
(End Recap)
it doesn't make any sense...why would he be with them he would never go with them. He's on our side!
"Lenalee"
Lenalee gave a jolt at the small shout of her name. Her eyes drifted to Lavi who had a look of worry at her
"I've been calling your name for the past five minutes. You look pretty distracted, is everything alright?" He asked her; even Kanda was looking at her with an impassive face
"Oh! Ah sorry I was just thinking about something" she laughed nervously to them
Lavi looked closely at her and he could tell that she was hiding something from them
"Ever since you got on the train you've been quiet and you look like you've seem a ghost" He took a breath before speaking again
"So something must have happened before you got on the train. The question is what did you see?"
Lenalee and Kanda both stared at Lavi
"What is there something on my face" he then proceeded to rub his face with his hand
"Che! Who do you think you are? Sherlock Holmes" Kanda growled at him, but then turned to Lenalee
"But he's right. Something's up with you, no point hiding it so you better spill it"
For five seconds there was silence from the female exorcist, before she let out a sigh of defeat her voice was quite, almost a whisper, as she spoke
"I...I thought that I saw...Allen back at the station" Lavi and Kanda's widened at what she said
Her voice started quivering as she spoke the rest "But he was-wasn't alone. There was others with him"
Kanda spoke before Lavi had the chance "who was it"
"...Tyki and...Road"
Lavi's breath hitched, Kanda's face remained as stoic as ever and Lenalee had a small tear coming down her cheek
One thought went through Lavi's head as a sufferable silence hung over the three exorcists
We were too late then...Allen
CRASH!
Red's head snapped up to see a giant pile of books in front of him
A groaning came from the books as the top of the pile started to shake
Like a volcano the top of the pile erupted as a head uncovered itself
"Hahaha I told you were carrying too many books, and look what happened" Laughed the book store owner
Red watched as his uncle recovered the rest of his body from the gigantic mess he made
His uncle rubbed his head "hehe guess you were right" he then started to pick up the books he dropped, he turned his head to his nephew who was sitting at the store's window seat
"I see you found a book to read. Is it any good?" He asked
Red smiled and nodded his head eagerly
"That's good. Who's your favourite character?"
Red stayed quiet as he thought about the question before he answered
"The knight"
His uncle smiled at him and asked "The knight huh? Why's he your favourite I ask"
"Because he reminds me of you" Red said to his uncle
His uncle took a heroic pose and said "ah so the knight is as heroic, brave, charming and valiant like me then"
"No it's because he's a clown and makes others laugh like you do"
His uncle fell face flat on the floor at his nephew's words whilst the book owner let out another bellow
Again sorry for the long wait. Hope you enjoyed and please review
