FLASHBACK

"So tell us your business here?" Mr. Heartfilla demanded.

Marakov already didn't like the man.

"Your daughter has managed to escape from her kidnappers...she is currently taking up refuge in my guild." The old wizard said getting right to the point.

"Lucy!" Her mother gasped.

Marakov was watching their reactions closely, he noted that both mother and son were over the moon with joy. But the father simply looked cross.

"She has been through many hardships, but with our care she is progressing nicely." Marakov continued, "I wish for you all to accompany me home to see her for yourselves."

"Yes!" Her brother agreed without any hesitation.

"Of course we should go immideately!" The mother agreed.

Marakov was the only one to notice the father's darkening mood and the way he stalked out of the room.

END FLASHBACK

Now the four of them were on a train. Mrs. Heartfilla and Luke going on about memories and little Lucy. Mr. Heartfilla sulking silently.

I do not trust this man. Marakov thought, and he would protect Lucy from him.

AN: It's short, but as filler it didn't actually need to be that long. What could be up with Lucy's dad I wounder? Family reunion in the next chapter. Drama to come folks!
