After the funeral everyone went to celebrate the life of Asuma. Each celebrated in their own way. Naruto and Shikamaru went to the training ground to work himself so he coul avenge Asuma, Kuernai went to visit his grave. Kakashi and Gai went on a scouting mission to locate Ataksuki. Anko spent the night at the bar with the majority of the jounins that knew Asuma and the Sarutobi clansmen.

Naruto stood panting as he faced off against Shikamaru. The two became even closer in the events following Asuma's death and both made an agreement to bring the other on any mission concerning Akatsuki. They both released their stances then went to go get Sake. They were in the bar when a foreign shinobi here for a document run mission entered the bar. He was already drunk and there was a vomit stain on his vest. He sat down at the bar and laughed to himself. He turned to Naruto.

"Psst. Hey did you hear some guy named Azumha Sarutoben died? Musta been a piss poor shinobi to not know enough to run! But what do you expect from Konoha shinobi, One vowed to take down the entire Akatsuki organization. Ha, he will die just like that dumb Sarutoben."

Naruto lost his composure and slammed the sake serving bottloe over the man's head then slammed his face against the bar. He yanked the drunk back and threw him against the wall. People turned at the commotion and saw the two shinobi. The civilians started chanting and cheering on Naruto while the shinobi tried to stop him but Shikamaru captured them all in his shadow possesion.

Naruto threw a punch at the man and smiled as the sound of a crack filled the room as the man's nose broke. The slumped down and Naruto turned. He blacked out as a chair slammed into the back of his head.

Naruto woke up to voices. "Shikamaru! You and Naruto were out of line. He would be beyond pissed if he saw the two of you."

"That man insulted him. Its our job to defend him. He died protecting this village. Not only did this man insult Asuma, he insulted the entirety of the shinobi corps."

"You two are jonins. You are acting like chunins. Get your head straight or I'll get the Hokage involved."

"Fine Yuhi-san." The sound of a slamming door resounded through the apartment. Naruto sat up in the bed and held his head. He turned as the door opened and Kurenai walked in. She held bandages and an ice pack.

"So he hit me with a chair?"

"Yea. He's in the prison. You have to see the Hokage tomorrow morning." She sat next to him and began wrapping his head with the bandages then slipped in the ice pack. She wrapped a layer around again to hold the ice pack.

"I really let him down didn't I?"

"He would be proud you stood up for the village but he would also be mad you were so easily drawn to the drunk's level."

He nodded then stood up. He felt a wave of dizziness but pushed through it. He pulled off his shirt and put on a clean black one. He pulled up his mask and took off his headband. He grabbed his wallet then walked out of the room.

"I'm going to see Asuma. Then I'm gonna go and spend the night at my place. You can come over if you want."

She nodded. Then he gently pulled the door shut behind him. As he looked up he saw the moonlight illuminating the 5 faces of the Hokage. He felt his resolve solidify. His hand rose to tattoo. His Anbu mark. He continued to the cemetery. He walked to Asuma's grave and sat. He pulled out a cigaqrette from his pocket and lit it. He placed it atop the headstone before pulling one out for himself. He slipped the zippo back into his pocket and took a deep drag from the cigarette. He said nothing just smoked his cigarette. The wind blew a leaf to his feet and Naruto picked it up. The leaf had the partial slice of fuuton training. He dropped the leaf then bowed to the headstone.

Kurenai waited in her apartment when a pidgeon landed on the window sill and pecked the glass. She opened the window and the pidgeon held out its leg. She opened the letter and sighed. She was being sent on a mission to escort a diplomat to Taki. She quickly packed a bag then went to greet her team.

Naruto arrived home and cursed. Kakashi stood in the doorway holding a already packed bag, the standard attire of a anbu captain, and Naruto's tanto. "You got a mission. No idea what. Report to Anbu headquarters."

Naruto nodded then pulled on his vest. He slung the bag over his shoulder and strapped the tanto onto his back.

He arrived at the headquarters to find the director tapping his foot. "You are going with Falcon to help escort a diplomat back to Taki. There will be three jonin bodyguards, your job is to be ready to cover them to get the diplomat out of danger."

Naruto nodded then Neji got up and the two ran to the gate.

They arrived and saw Kurenai, Gai, and Kakashi standing at the gate. In the middle was a short fat man with a beard. He exhaled an auroa of inplied superiority and openly oggled Kurenai.

"Falcon, why is it we always have to guard assholes?"

"Because there rich and bought us." Fox sighed then joined the four. Kakashi nodded. "So since Fox is an Anbu captain he is incharge of the mission."

The short man froze. He turned. "That pipsquiek is an Anbu Captain? Hell then they must make everyone a captain!"

Kurenai smacked the man over the head. "You will not address the captain in that matter or you will find a different way home." The man turned and bared his teeth.

"I would advise you to keep your hands off of me woman before I K…" Fox's gloved hand covered his mouth and Falcon nodded pulling out a gag.

"Now shorty, there is two ways we can do this. We can escorty you there and you can walk and talk and we will go at your pace. Or we can bind you, gag you and go our pace and I assure you it won't be com fortable at all."

Naruto removed his hand and the man stayed silent as the team began to move.

Kurnenai watched Naruto while he and Falcon sat discussing the mission. After a while Naruto stood up and sat down next to her and laid back.

"You know Ms. Yuhi, I hear Naruto is jealous of me."

"Oh yeah and why's that?"

"Well whose here and who isn't?"

She smirked then slide his mask to the side exposing his lips and kissed them gently. She bent down next to his ear. "Well I've always wanted to bang an Anbu Captain."

He nodded and the two slipped into her tent. Kakashi rolled his eyes before he put a privacy seal on the tent.

The next hour Naruto and Kurenai just laid on the sleeping bags. Well Naruto anyway. Kurenai was fast asleep on his chest. A sign of absolute trust in Naruto. He smiled and lightly rubbed her back in ciruclar motions as she slept. He looked up as Kakashi poked his head in.

"Two am. Your shift Taichou." Naruto nodded then pulled on his mask. He slipped out from beneath Kurenai and went out to take over guarding the camp.

The night passed on uneventfully. Naruto was happy to return to Kurenai's tent and lay back down. She rolled over and cuddled deeply into his chest and he pulled the blankets over them both.

The next morning the two awoke and broke down camp while Kakashi guarded the area and Gai cooked. Neji was sitting with the client eating a light breakfast. He nodded to Naruto and then returned to his conversation.

Naruto grabbed a bowl and sat next to the client who turned. "I have a question for you two Anbu guys. I know that every Anbu wears a mask but in my village only the Anbu operative knows why they do. So I was wondering if you guys are at liberty to share the reason behind the mask?"

Naruto nodded. "Its simple really. Each mask is a way for the Anbu to distinguish himself among the special forces of the Shinobi world. It is a mark of pride to receive your animal mask. When in training you wear only the gear of an Anbu and if your lucky a blank mask. Upon graduation you get your animal mask. Then some guys put seals in the mask itself so if they are captured they can kill themselves before they are interrogated, or others have their mask so they can use it to escape by making it an explosive."

He nodded shocked. "Do you guys have any of those?"

"If I told you I'd be at a disadvantage."

"Is it true you are the youngest Anbu captain since Kakashi Hatake and Itachi Uchiha?"

"Yes. I am also the youngest Captain to ever be accepted into Anbu Black Ops."

"How old are you?"

"16."

The man nodded then Naruto stood up and grabbed a plate of food to bring to Kurenai. He handed her the plate then sat down next to her.

"We should arrive around 6 tonight if we keep to the schedule then the team will spend the night in town and return tomorrow."

She nodded. "Wonderful. I'll finally get to see Takigakure."

"Its not that great. Jiriaya and I stopped in on the trip the brothels aren't that great." Then Naruto froze at what he just said. He turned to find a fuming Kurenai. And quickly added, "They were dirty. Jiriaya dragged me along and tried to get me to sleep with one of the girls but I didn't." Kurenai relaxed a little but not much.

"You never told me Jiriaya brought you to brothels."

"Well I didn;'t think it would be important since I sat in the waiting rooms."

"We will talk about this when we arrive tonight."

Naruto gulped then nodded. He scanned everyone else and noticed they were ready to go. "Alright guys lets move."

They arrived in Taki as the sun sank below the horizon. The village was admist a festival so the team went out exploring while Kurenai disciplined Naruto for going to brothels.

Neji, Kakashi and Gai looked to their side as Naruto appeared with a torn face mask. "Hey Aniki, you wouldn't happen to have a spare would you?"

Kakashi shook his head and threw him his spare. "You're gonna buy me a new one."

Naruto quickly changed masks and stopped in front of a booth. On display was a large array of different Sakes and liquors. Naruto ran inside the booth and quickly ordered each flavor and waited.

Kakashi, Gai and Neji continued on when Kurenai landed beside them. "Have you seen Naruto-koi?"

"Sake bar back there."

Naruto drank the last shot of the sake and immediately felt the effects. He tried to stand up but got dizzy and sat back down. He looked over as a Taki ninja with mint green hair and a curvaceous body sat beside him. He focused in front of him as the woman studied him. "Hey there sexy man. You looking for some company?"

"Yes. My girlfriend. Shes about 23ish with silky black hair that is untamed but not messy, bright red eyes with purple eye shadow, red lips, and the body of perfection. Have you seen her?"

Naruto walked out of the bar and ran into Kurenai. The woman was falling back so he moved forward and caught her. "Kure-hime I was just looking for you. Want to get some dinner?" She nodded and then kissed him gently.

The two arrived at a sushi resturnat and went in and quickly got a table. Their food came quickly and then the two decuded to go back and find everyone else and go to the waterfall.

Kakashi, Gai, and Neji were at the bar when Naruto and Kurenai joined them. Kurenai filled them in on what she planned and the others nodded and the group went to the waterfall. When they got there, she pulled out a red scroll sealed with a blood seal.

She opened it and a picture of the 7 tails came out. "Everyone, this is Fuu. We were selected for this mission not because the client was in danger but because it got us a way inside the village. We are to go and locate the target then use her to find the Hero Water. We are to steal a sample of the Hero Water to bring back to Tsuande so she can make a synthetic version to help boost peoples immunity and help them prepare for surgery." Everyone nodded then she scanned them. "Does anyone have any ideas on how we can get to her?"

Naruto nodded. "We can just by pass her. The Hero Water is this village's version of the Kinjutsu scroll. The water contains the secrets of the village's vast medical knowledge. I bet its either in the hospital or the Waterfall itself."

"We can't just guess Naruto. Gai, I want you to get inside her guard. Make her trust you, then we can get the target. If anyone asks why we are staying later, Kakashi and Neji, you two are here because you are on vacation so lose the headbands. Naruto and I are on our honey moon. Gai, you are here because you needed to get away from a former lover. Any questions?"

"Yes. One, Kure-hime, since its our honey moon, are we going to be acting like it is?"
