Defeating the Adephagos, Estelle decided, was definitely not easy. Well, she hadn't expected it to be—of course it would prove challengeable, but it was rather… tiring. When Yuri called it quits for the day and said they should just rent an inn somewhere, everyone's relief was evident. Raven sighed about how glad he was this old man could finally get a break, Judith made her usual comments, Patty climbed up on Flynn's back because she was too tired to walk anymore.
When Bauru had picked them up, Estelle immediately stood at one of the sides of the ship with Yuri and, placing her elbows on the edge and balancing her head on her hands, admired the sunset with him. There was a comfortable silence between the two, neither of them attempting to spark unnecessary conversation. These moments were always what she appreciated the most. The small ones, where they don't have to talk, make physical contact, show any sort of affection, just relax, enjoy life and the world they set out to protect.
It doesn't take long at all to get to Haruru. She understands it was the nearest location, but she's still pleased at the choice. While the inn keeper makes room for them, some talk amongst themselves, others doze off. When she catches Yuri staring at her, he doesn't look away and she doesn't blush (too much) for once, and instead he smiles and approaches her.
"I got us our own room." And she finds herself unable to say anything—the only things she can think of now is redfaceredfaceredfaceredface and staring because what in the hell do you do in this sort of situation she's still a virgin she didn't know Yuri was that serious about—about being her—y'know!, and then he chuckles and ruffles her hair and says quietly, "Not for that sort of thing, silly." The inn keeper quickly comes down the stairs just then, and everyone's attention is drawn to him for a brief moment before they all head upstairs. A few people lag, while some are so excited to just hop into bed and rest that they race up the stairs and throw open a random door without bothering to ask which room is whose (they're lucky no one else was staying tonight). She quietly follows Yuri to—to their room.
He holds the door open and she giggles softly and walks in, hands crossed in front of her as usual, and as soon as he shuts the door, his arms are around her waist and his face is buried in her shoulder. Her cheeks bloom a rose colour and she giggles again, just as softly as before, just as gentle, and puts her hands over his.
"I love you." They're muffled words, and she can feel his lips moving against her clothes.
Her heart skips a beat and she feels like the happiest and luckiest woman in the world at that moment — though, that was how Yuri always made her feel, right? "I love you too," she says softly, and he kisses her. Gently, like always. No one will ever be able to kiss her as well as Yuri does. He's gentle, soft, hardly puts any pressure but still makes something in her stomach flutter.
She wraps her hands around his and steps away and drags him onto the bed. They both laugh, end up on their sides, and they stare at each other for a good while, just smiling. Eventually Estelle shifts closer and hugs him around the waist, burying her face in his chest while Yuri lifts his hand and begins to stroke her hair.
After a few moments of silence, she moves back a little so she can speak. "After this is over," she says, "I want to move here with you."
He looks a bit surprised, but smiles within a few seconds and kisses her forehead. "It'd be my pleasure, m'lady."
