Kagome looked at her reflection and smiled as she left her room only to run into her brother as he was leaving his room.
"...nice jacket."
Kagome grinned, she recalled the night before and thanked him before skipping off down the stairs. Her mind trailing off to yesterday's events.
~Flashback~
"Kagome, not to change the subject...but...this jacket..."
The tennis team behind her stopped eating and turned their attention to the siblings.
"Ah...this morning, when I woke up...I was wearing it." Kagome smiled, glancing at the jacket that had kept her warm through the night. "Though, I have no idea whose jacket it is, I plan on keeping it until he comes back for it. Or...at least until the next tournament."
Keigo gave a look of shock, his eyes looking between Kagome, the jacket, and his team. He couldn't decide which one he wanted to glare at more. "Augh! Ore-Sama will not permit his Imouta to wear such a jacket!"
Kagome looked at Keigo, and walking up to Keigo, she smiled, "let me? Well then, it's a good thing, I wasn't asking..." not another word said to Keigo, she turned and left in silence.
~End-x-Flashback~
"Come on Kagome, can't you at least pretend to support your Nii-San's team?"
Kagome smiled, "I do support your team, but listen...I was asleep in a hidden outdoor sanctuary...and someone, some stranger, who could have done so much worse...covered me up from the chill of the night, with his jacket. I want to meet this person, because he sounds like a nice guy. Now, I may be dressing him up with my imagination, but aren't you at least glad it wasn't someone else? Wouldn't you at least like to extend your gratitude to this guy for keeping my best interest at heart?"
Keigo gave Kagome a deadpanned look, but her words struck true to their sole target. "Indeed, and Ore-Sama shall." He sighed, "let us gather at breakfast and then leave for school. I fear this day will be a long one...for both of us."

Kabaji greeted them at the school gate as Keigo's limo pulled up to the school. Opening the door for the sibling, Kabaji held his hand out to Kagome who, though surprised by the kind act, took the hand and smiled in kind to his sweet gesture. "Thank you."
"...usu..." Kabaji blushed, bowing his head a bit as Keigo came out next and eyed his burly and buff friend.
"Hm...Ore-Sama will have to make clear a few rules."

Kagome sat in class, reading along with the teacher, she had already started to receive rather dark looks from the girls at schools, and twice now, she'd been asked by a teacher if she'd somehow received the wrong jacket. It took Kagome pointing out the fact that she wasn't in tennis and that the Jacket wasn't a mistake, for the girls and teachers to leave her be. Bit her drama hadn't stopped at just that. Her nii-san had decided to make a public announcement, which had caused her even more grief. Stating nothing short of no-one-is-allowed-to-date-my-sister-unless-they-defeat-me-in-a-tennis-match...
Kagome sighed as she recalled the command, his snapping fingers, and her female classmate's glares caused by his excessive doting.
"Pst!"
Kagome looked to her left and noted a rather beautiful brunette with dazzling grey eyes that almost looked silver. Noting the paper in her hand being held out to her, Kagome took it. Unfolding it, she read the contents.
Can we be friends?
'This seems a bit juvenile...but...' Kagome looked to the girl who smiled sweetly at her. Smiling back, Kagome scribbled quickly at the bottom.
I'd like that.

(Elsewhere)
Inui stepped over towards the rest of the Regulars and frowned at the small observations running through his head. "Fuji-San, you didn't have your jacket this morning...wasn't it particularly cold? The likelihood that you forgot it is quite low. Actually...it's near zero."
"I didn't forget it, I left it. Besides, I can share with Eiji-San."
"Ehhh?! Nani? Nani? Why me?!"
"Because Eijiko's is warmest."
"...hmn." Eiji frowned suspiciously at his friend, but laughed it off and pulled him in for a hug.
"Where did you leave it?" Oishi conjured up the question that a number of them had been thinking.
"Saa...that is a secret." He answered from the warm hug he'd been enveloped by. Walking aay with Eiji still hanging off of him, the duo head off in the direction of class.
"Nai, Fujiko?"
"Hai?"
Eiji glanced at Fuji from the corner of his eyes, "...where did you leave your jacket?"
"...I left it...in the forest atop the mountains."
"EHHHH!?"

Me: Here is chapter three, I'm sorry this took so long to write, and wasn't as long as my other chapters. For some reason, this story specifically is giving me trouble, so I had to just write something to get past ch2 so that I could hopefully move on later. I'll come back to it, but until then, I hope this works well enough. Review, and let me know what you think.
