The Return Of Hiccup

Part One

When Hiccup was a child Stoick believed that sending Hiccup away with a friend from another tribe would make him a better Viking. Hiccup did become a better, more confident person, thanks to someone who saved Hiccup's life.

To my dear friend Stoick,

I understand that our agreement was to return your son during the summer of next year, but it is my personal belief that we can do more. We did not really do much in the first place. In fact, your son tried to kill himself with the thought that his father hate d him and it is only thanks to a new "friend" that he survived to be returned you.

However, his friend will not leave his side, he nearly killed several of my men when we tried.

We will be arriving in three days, meet us.

Alone, And night, no one can see.

BUTTSCARTCH THE BRAVE

That letter was sent three days ago, and Stoick stood in the docks, wondering about this friend. Why did he have to be alone? Stoick was deep in thought that he did notice the ship dock until the plank was dropped at his feet.

"Stoick!" yelled Buttscratch, walking down the plank and grabbing Stoick's upper arm.

"It's good to see you again" laughed Stoick, "Hiccup?"

"Dad?" a small voice came from behind Buttscratch, who moved aside and for first time in ten years, Stoick saw his son.

Hiccup was wmaller and skinnier and looked weaker than how Stoick would have looked. His hair was still the same, his eyes seemed to be a happier green. He wore black trousers with brown boots, he also wore a green top with a belt with weird looking buckle. Over the top he wore a brown jacket that reached his knees.

"It's nice to see you again" smiled Stoick. Hiccup smirked and shook his head.

"YYou need to promise me something" said Hiccup, slowly walking down the plank.

"What?" asked Stoick, unsure of the powerful look on Hiccup's face.

"Buttscratch told you about a friend who saved my life?" asked Hiccup. Stoick nodded.

"He's a dragon" said Hiccup.

"I'm sorry?" asked Stoick.

"Toothless, that's his name, is a Night Fury, who has grown an attachment to your son" said Buttscratch, and a shadow appeared behind Hiccup, a shadow with green eyes.

"Okay, I need the full story. At my house" said Stoick, Hiccup rolled his eyes and turned to the dragon.

"Okay, go to the house on top of the hill. Stay to the shadows and I will meet you up there" said Hiccup. Toothless nodded, and then flew into the air.

"Lead the way" said Hiccup, turning back to the dazed Stoick.

Stoick shook his head and began to walk up the hill. Buttscratch and Hiccup followed him.

They met Toothless at the house, and Hiccup let him in, the adults followed him.

"Okay, so how did you become friends with a dragon?"
