Chpt 9: A New Baby and More Surprises

It has now been over 1 week since Ginga and Masamune have finally been reunited as an everlasting couple. Who knows where Hyoma has gone into; they never knew anything else about him since that day. Anyways, Masamune was planning to surprise Ginga with something special, probably after their lovely baby is welcomed into the family (Ginga looks around 9 months pregnant).

Masamune then said to his boyfriend, "Ginga, I'm gonna go...to a fancy jewelry store, and I won't be back for a while."

"Why would you go there, love?" Ginga asked with a little laugh.

"That's because..." Masamune then whispered in the red-head's ear," it's a secret." Ginga then blushed.

"Alright, be back safe then.." Ginga replied wrapping his arms on Masamune's shoulders.

"I will my love..." Masamune then kissed Ginga's pregnant belly, then he felt somewhat of a strong kick. Masamune then gasped slightly.

" Something wrong?" Ginga asked

"I can tell this baby is coming sooner or later." Masamune replied, smirking.

"Shouldn't you be like going?"

"Alright, alright Ginga! I'll be back, I love you!" Masamune said before leaving with an air kiss.

"I love you too," Ginga replied back, knowing that Masamune will always be back for him.

3 hours later...

It is now 6:00 in the evening. Clearly, it has been a while since Masamune has left to the Jewelry shop. Ginga can feel some contractions from his pregnancy, implying that the baby might be coming soon. Suddenly, he heard a knock on the door. Ginga managed to open the door, despite all the aches and pain against him. The door then revealed an-all-familiar nurse with dark brown tied hair and chocolate colored eyes. It was NurseAngel.

"Hello Ginga, just came to visit you for a while." NurseAngel started with a smile.

"Oh, thanks." Ginga replied, smiling.

"It's no problem, and by the way: how's the baby doing?"

"Um..thinking about it, I think he's kicking pretty hard."

"Oh my God! Could it be that he must be-" NurseAngel gasped.

"I'll be in the bathroom...OW!" Ginga then clutched his pregnant belly in pain.

"Okay then..."

As Ginga walked his way to the bathroom, he could feel the fluids leak between his legs, meaning that his "water-breaks". Ginga then gasped as he felt some contractions afterwards. Ginga was panicking at the moment, screaming for NurseAngel's help. She immediately showed up at the bathroom.

"Ginga! What's wrong?"

"My water broke! And I'm having contractions; it hurts!"

"Just in here Ginga, I'm gonna send you to the hospital, STAT!"

"AAHH, it hurts, please call Masamune too!"

"Don't worry, he'll be notified, just take deep breaths and we'll be on our way!" NurseAngel replied, trying to keep herself calm. This is going to be one hell of a night for her.

Meanwhile...

"Finally, this should be perfect for Ginga!" Masamune exclaimed as he finally got his custom-made engagement ring, the so-called surprise for Ginga Hagane, his Number One love. This ring is platinum with 20 diamonds surrounding the edges and with an engraved message in the middle that read in cursive: "You're My Number One". He then paid the cashier with a decent amount of money and then left with a grin on his face. Suddenly, his cellphone rings and an incoming call from NurseAngel. He thought it was quite important, so he decided to answer.

"Hello, Masamune Kadoya speaking!"

"Oh, Masamune? Come to the hospital quick!"

"Wha-why? What's happening?"

"Well Ginga Hagane, your boyfriend is there!"

"And?"

"He's going into labor; the baby is about to come soon!"

"Shit! Good thing you've told me that! I'll be on my way now!"

"Hurry then!"

Masamune hung up and ran to the nearby taxi, accidentally pushing some people due to the fact that the streets were rather crowded.

"Taxi, take me to the hospital, quick!" Masamune exclaimed.

"Alrighty then!" The taxi man replied. Then he rapidly start the taxi car, heading to the hospital about 30 minutes later.

"Thank you very much!" Masamune exclaimed, before heading to the hospital, still holding the jewelry box.

Inside the Hospital...

"God DAMMIT! IT F*cking hurts! OW!" Ginga screamed while he was in the hospital bed, sweating. It has been about an hour since he was in labor.

"Just hang in there Ginga, breathe in and out." NurseAngel instructed. Just then, Masamune showed up.

"Masa-Masamune!" Ginga gasped, managing to smile.

"Looks like I made it here just in time." Masamune replied, smiling to see his Number One. But he heard Ginga screaming due to contractions, happening every 5 minutes.

"Masamune...please stay here with me.." Ginga whispered, with a few tears in his eyes.

"Of course Ginga...I'll never leave your side." Masamune replied before kissing Ginga's forehead.

And throughout the harrowing hours of labor, Masamune was with Ginga this whole time. He was capable of keeping Ginga calm and collected throughout this painful labor process. In the meantime, NurseAngel said to the other nurse while putting on her scrubs.

"This is it, my very first time of delivering a baby; this will be so exciting." she said to herself.

"Yes, childbirth is indeed a very beautiful thing," Said one of the nurses.

Delivery Time 12:00 AM

Yes, it seems that Ginga's labor has escalated so quickly. It is now time for him to welcome his and Masamune's newborn child into the Beyblade world.

Ginga was holding Masamune's hands while panting and breathing deeply. NurseAngel was focusing on Ginga's pushing with the 2 other nurses assisting her.

"AAAHH! It hurts!" Ginga cried in pain.

"It's okay Ginga!" Masamune replied, trying to calm him down.

"Alright then, Ginga push!" NurseAngel instructed. Ginga did as told while screaming.

"Oh God, OWW!"

"You're doing great Ginga, excellent in fact!" NurseAngel continued. Ginga was pushing quite vigorously, but not to the point of tearing.

After about 15 minutes of extreme pushing, NurseAngel can then see the head crowning between Ginga's legs. All Ginga can feel is a burning sensation that he should try to withstand. He screamed and cried at this point.

"OH MY GOD!" Ginga screamed while crying in pain.

"I know, it hurts Ginga. But you're doing so great!" Masamune replied.

"Okay the head's still crowing, so push at the next contraction," NurseAngel continued. Ginga continued to scream and cry and Masamune just couldn't bear Ginga in excruciating pain. Around this time the head was completely out. There was blood and other fluids in the process, but NurseAngel just focused on the childbirth.

"I...can't...push anymore!" Ginga panted. He was clearly exhausted from the pain he's been going through.

"Just hang in there Ginga; one more should do it!" Masamune replied. Ginga was able to push one last time, holding Masamune's hands even harder.

"Goodness Ginga the baby's coming! You're doing amazing! Look down!" NurseAngel gasped as she was simply puling the little baby out, the head and shoulders can be seen easily. Ginga then looked down and immediately pulled the baby out of his body and onto his chest. He baby began taking his first breath by screaming loudly. Masamune had tears of joy in his eyes when he saw his newborn child, still crying. NurseAngel was overjoyed as well and was cleaning the baby.

"Oh my God!" Ginga cried overjoyed.

"He's so beautiful!" Masamune gasped.

"Yes he is. Hey Number One daddy," NurseAngel turned to Masamune with scissor-like forces. "You wanna cut the cord?"

"It's my pleasure," Masamune replied, and did so as instructed. I'm a father of his child now, he thought.

"This is so...amazing." Ginga cried while holding the baby, that is still crying for breather. Ginga was holding his baby for another 10 minutes before NurseAngel took the baby into some vital examinations.

As one of the nurses was delivering Ginga's placenta, NurseAngel was doing close examinations of the newborn. She checked on his lungs; the baby was crying so loud so she commented," Wow, he's so healthy and with a perfect pair of lungs."

Also the baby's APGAR score was a perfect 10; strong reflexes, great response, a pink color, high heart beat rate, and its cries. Then she measured him.

He weighs 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and his length is 20 inches. "Wow, he's so healthy and beautiful!" The Nurse/Midwife thought.

About an hour later, NurseAngel went to Ginga's room, holding a newborn swaddled in a baby blue blanket. She said," Congrats you guys, he's in perfect health." NurseAngel comments as she hold the baby to Ginga. She then eventually left so the 2 can have a private time bonding with the little Number One Bundle of Joy.

"he's so beautiful Ginga.." Masamune whispered, smiling. The baby has light tanned skinned with black hair with an orange patch in the front. (does he look familiar to you?) The baby was still crying loudly. Man, does he have perfect lungs or something.

"SSHHH! don't cry; it's okay." Ginga said, comforting the baby. He also began to breastfeed him as well. The baby opened his eyes, revealing bright blue gleaming orbs. Ginga and Masamune gasped by their child's appearance, blue eyes in their traits are very rare.

"So...what should we name him?" Ginga asked Masamune, smiling.

"Hmmm. how about Zyro Kurogane?"

"Yes...I think he likes that name." Ginga added, he heard the baby coo for a bit.

"Yup, Kurogane means black steel, and I think that's totally Number One."

"Very well, it's Zyro Kurogane Kadoya." Ginga said, smiling while having a wonderful glance at his newborn.

"Ginga...I so glad that we have a new addition to our family..." Masamune said.

"And I'm so glad it's our own child..." Ginga added.

Masamune kissed Ginga's forehead lightly and said," I love you Ginga, and I always will..."

At around 9:30 AM...

Ginga and Masamune were still bonding to their newborn child: Zyro Kurogane. Masamune was holding him and was surprised when he saw visitors! In other words, their old friends began the show up, such as Kenta, Madoka, Kyoya, Yu, Tsubasa, not to mention Toby, Zeo, and King. It appears that they heard the news that this couple recently had a child.

"Hey Ginga, we heard that you gave birth to Masamune's baby! Is that true?" Kenta shouted out, gleefully.

"Yes that's true!" Ginga replied.

"Oh Masamune, I didn't know you're a father now!" King said, laughing.

"Aw shut up King! He's a cute one so stop messing with me!" Masamune replied, playfully.

"Can we see him?" Zeo asked.

"Yeah, exactly what he said!" Toby added.

"Okay, sure go ahead!" Masamune replied. Zeo then held the baby in his arms, admiring him.

"Aww...he kinda looks like you. A mini-version of you, if you ask me." Toby comments.

"Yup, he's Number One, that's for sure," Masamune responds. Kent and Madoka got to see the baby as well.

"Aww...Ginga so cute!" Madoka squealed.

"Yeah...I know..." Ginga replied, smiling.

"I know you'll take good care of him, right?" Kenta asks.

"Oh, he will. Also, Masamune should do his part too, right?" Madoka said, making a face.

"Yeah...yeah." Masamune responds, sarcastically. About 30 minutes later a knock followed by a voice can be heard.

"No Hyoma, you're just going to wreak havoc with their relationship again!" NurseAngel says.

"But really, I have to talk to Ginga, this is important!" Hyoma pleaded

"Are you sure? Swear that you're not going to hurt Ginga, or even Masamune!"

"Yes, I swear it!" Hyoma replies.

"Alright then, go ahead. And I got my eyes on you..." NurseAngel answers.

"Hey Masamune...is that?" Ginga asks while holding Zyro in his arms.

"Hyoma...why are you here?" Masamune asks Hyoma coldly.

"Look, I came here to talk to Ginga. I even got NurseAngel's approval.

"Oh really? I'm staying here the whole time. Go on." Masamune sighs.

"Ginga...I came here to apologize for my wrongful actions. Yes, I know what I did which was bad, but I couldn't really help myself. I thought you were open for someone like me since you were looking forward to a relationship at any point soon. Turns out I was wrong; I think you and Masamune should be together for as long as you live. So um...forgiveness?"

"Yes, I forgive you Hyoma." Ginga replies, smiling. Hyoma then smiled back too. Knowing that he was his childhood friend, that sue made a positive change for sure.

"Likewise Hyoma, but one question of curiosity: who are you planning to hang out with now?" Masamune asked.

"Well, now that I have nothing else better to do, I prefer to hang out to a chick with big boobs; I say D-cups or bigger." Hyoma responds before leaving. "Toodles Ginga; be sure to call me though!"

"Yeah, sure, whatever..." Ginga replies.

"Oh, Ginga! Masamune! I think it's the perfect time to go home now! Also, you're going to expect a big surprise once you get there!" NusreAngel said, offering a ride back home. Of course,Ginga and Masamune were excited since they were going to bring Zyro Kurogane home for the first time, how exciting!

It was a matter of minutes until Ginga, Masamune, and their little baby boy, Zyro has made it to their home. Ginga opened the door and received quite a surprise. All of their friends, that means Kenta, Madoka, Kyoya, Yu, Tsubasa, Benkei, Sora, all of the world championship teams like Wang Hu Zhong, the rest of Wild Fang, Excalibur, and Team Dungeon, which included Toby, Zeo, and King. Next thing that happened was that Nurse Angel joined in the crown.

WELCOME HOME YOU GUYS!" They all chanted with passion of joy and happiness.

"Oh my GOD!" Ginga gasped, speechless from the load of love from all of his friends.

"No Ginga, that's not all. Masamune has something special for you, take it away, Number One!" NurseAngel chants. Masamune then stepped closer to Ginga and held his hand. He began a speech, which is known to be his proposal. Heart races from Ginga since he's thinking what's going to happen at this time.

"Ginga...when I first met you,I was awestruck by your passion of Beyblade. I thought that it was more than just a dream to battle you, and to become your friend...your best friend.

Getting to know you more, I never thought we had such a connection between the 2 of us, being in team Gan Gan Galaxy with Yu, Madoka, and Tsubasa. Sure, we may had a few conflicts along the way, but in the end, it was all worth it, all thanks to you.

Afterwards, I started to fall in love with you. And here I am, seeing the most beautiful person I've ever laid my eyes on. And I'm just so glad that we're more than friends, and you truly changed my life forever. If I had never you, my life would have been far different from the way it is.

Ginga, you know that I love you, I love you so much that you mean the world to me. In fact, I NEED you in my life; I'll die without you just as someone dying without oxygen. I knew from the beginning that we've shared something special towards our connection. I am willing to spend the rest of my life with you, my number one blader, boyfriend, and lover..." Masamune then bent down on one knee and opened the jewelry box, revealing a beautiful wedding ring (description form above chapter)

"Ginga Hagane, will you marry me?" Ginga then had tears of his eyes, smiling from those heartfelt words. He knew that one day these 2 would be happy together, forever, perfectly, and nothing that will server their bond. This was the happiest day of his life for sure.

"Yes...YES! I'll marry you!" Ginga cried, embracing Masamune in complete happiness. The crowed then awed seeing this, and said things like "so cute" and "congratulations!". Masamune had the honor to put the ring on that finger.

"Now you will be known to be Ginga Kadoya," Masamune said with a warm smiling. He and Ginga kissed passionately; yes these 2 are about to get married.

Alright, finally done with this chapter; yes these 2 are finally getting married! My OTP, whoo!

And here's a little Biology-related note: theoretically, Zyro can be the love child of Ginga and Masamune and here's why folks: assuming that both of their mothers have blue eyes, they (Gin and Masa) inherits mixed alleles, so yeah carrying that recessive allele. So that means a possible 25% chance of their child having blue eyes, which in this case it happened! Argue against me otherwise if this theory is flawed, but for now read and review folks!
