Chapter 17: Family; Part 2

When Gym came along the group switched out clothes very fast and went into the gym, to find it layered with mats.

"I wonder what we're doing." Percy asked.

"Whatever it is I think you should know that Nancy Bobofit is in this class, and she was talking about how you will never hit a woman."

"Why do I have a feeling that…"

Before anyone could say anything else the coach walked out along with the others.

"Alright class, we'll be sparing today, so pair up, no one that you're used to fighting." Coach said. "Let's find out who's in whose league."

Percy raised his hand.

"Mr. Jackson." Coach called.

"What if, you know the person that's in your league?" Percy asked.

"Sorry I have to see that."

"I call Percy."Nancy called evilly.

Percy and Annabeth groaned.

"Are you sure, I have to fight her?" Percy asked. "Can't I deal with Annabeth?"

"Deal with me?" Annabeth asked.

"You know what I mean, besides payback for the comment at Second period today."

"Sorry Mr. Jackson." Coach said. "If both of you are advanced as you seem to think you are then maybe I'll let you work together."

"Fine, I see that this class is an odd number of students."Percy observed.

"Percy I know what you're thinking, and no." Annabeth said.

"It's either this or I wait till the females that we all know, that hate men, find out about Diana. This way I may have done something to have them fight me."

"Either way they will try and beat you up." Nico said. "You haven't proven yourself to them."

"I actually heard that the leader will tell them about what we've told a select few already."

"Maybe that will work, but I think I should watch out for traps." Percy said.

Percy walked over to the center mat.

"Anyone who thinks they can take me on, come and try it."

All the boys in class walked over to Percy and surrounded him, Nancy then entered the circle of boys.

"I get to fight you first." Nancy said.

"Good, I think payback time, but I guess I have to take it easy on you."

"You better take it easy on her, or I tell Her."

Percy stared.

"You wouldn't."

"No I wouldn't."

"I know you wouldn't."

"Get your head in the fight before I call Clarisse."

"I would believe you would do that." Percy said then he took up what looked like an amateurish pose.

Nancy charged, Percy changed into a professional stance, side stepped her then grabbed her arm then flipped her over his shoulder. She stayed there while the ten other boys charged at Percy. Within three minutes all the boys were on the ground.

"Percy what did I say about showboating?" Annabeth asked.

"Not much, you just said take it easy on any females." Percy said. "Besides they were trying to prove how tuff they were by beating me to a pulp."

"Not like they could touch you."

"Mr. Jackson." Coach Mason called. "What did you do these teens?"

"I beat them up, after they foolishly accepted my challenge, and after I took down Nancy."

"These people were in the soccer team, and the match is a month away, and yet I highly doubt that these teens can play."

"They'll be better by the end of the week." Percy said. "Well they should, if not, not my problem, they thought they could take me on."

He walked off the mat, and into Annabeth's arms.

"So you won't call Clarisse right?" Percy joked.

"You know I would never contact Clarisse, I'd have Thalia beat you up instead."

"I can take thunder head anytime." Percy said.

"Thanks to that curse." Thalia whispered. "Without it I can totally beat you."

"Yeah right, then what about all that time when I was the guardian? Besides you have that particular curse as well."

"Dumb luck."

"Hey Jason, notice something about Nancy?"

"It's the way she fights… Roman." Jason said.

"If I remember correctly, she has a step dad."

"We can always corner her after school."

"We should ask Mars first, or we can get Grover."

"You know as well as I that she's a demigod, and it's in her fighting style that she is roman. Well go talk to him." Jason said. "He likes you better than me."

"Fine." Percy said.

He walked into the locker room, and a huge wall of mist came out. Finding a rainbow and hoping that Jason and Nico are making sure no one enters, he asked Iris to show the Olympus council chambers. When the image formed he imagined them as their roman forms.

"Perseus, why are you contacting us?" Jupiter asked.

"I can't call to check on my favorite family on my father's side?" Percy asked.

"What do you want kid?" Mars asked.

"Do any of your kids go to Goodie High this year?" Percy asked. "I'm asking the gods, not you wonderful ladies. We found someone, who likes to fight, and she fights like Romans. Jason sees it as well."

The Roman gods took out a notebook each; he even noted that the big three also had a note book.

"A note book?"

"Juno's idea, we write down our kids with an updating system to it." Neptune said.

"Name?" Juno asked.

"Nancy Bobofit." Percy said quickly.

"Perce hurry up, it's almost time to dress in." Jason whispered.

"Ah-ha." One of the Roman gods yelled.

Percy looked back to the screen and saw Mercury raising his hands.

"That girl is mine, she knows how to pick her fights, yet steal without getting caught." Mercury said proudly.

"Thanks." Percy said.

The mist cleared and Percy wiped his hand through the image. By the time everything was normal the other students started to walk in. The three boys dressed in their normal clothes as fast as possible and headed out the door. The girls arrived and together they waited for Nancy. As she walked out, Jason and Percy told the girls, and Nico to head home, since this was for Roman demigods.

The girls and Nico left leaving Jason and Percy alone they caught up to Nancy just outside of school, the grabbed her and took her into a nearby alley.

"What do you two freaks want?" Nancy asked.

"Keep it down; I have to ask you one thing." Percy said.

"What?" She shot out with venom (Figuratively).

"Your father, your real father, do you know him?" Jason asked in Latin.

"No, he had a one night stand with my mother, that's how I got here." Nancy responded in Latin without even knowing. "Now let me go!"

"What would you say if we told you that we know who your father is?" Percy said. "And if you notice you're speaking another language. Latin"

Nancy stopped struggling.

"What?" She asked. "What language was…?"

"You heard us." Jason said.

That's when we heard a growl. The three turned towards it and saw a massive Hellhound.

"That's not Mrs. O'Leary is it?"

"Nope."

"What is that?" Nancy asked.

"Hellhound." Jason said.

"Flash her to the Lupa; she can tend to this mutt." Percy said, nodding towards Nancy.

"Hey, I'm not a mutt."

"Where you're going, you'll have to think like it, you spend up to six months to a year with her, and you start to think like you're a Canine. I'm trying to slip out of it, but I slip in it sometimes." Percy said. "Flash her to the Wolf House, its safe."

Jason grabbed Nancy and flashed out. Percy took a deep breath and blew out, letting flames erupt from his mouth. Once the flames stopped the alley was burnt and no sign of a monster.

"Always fun." Percy said. "I wonder if Leo has tried that."

He summoned a storm to put the flames out, and then he left the alleyway in the down pour that could hide anything from sight (He even heard a few crashes). Deciding to get home faster he flashed into his room, where he saw Annabeth changing.

"Hey Annabeth." Percy said.

"You wouldn't know why it was a down pour outside would you?"

"Forgot that Oceanus is dead and all Water demigods are stronger." Percy said. "I torched an alleyway then summoned a storm to take care of the remaining flames."

"Why did you torch an alleyway?"

"Hellhound."

"That wouldn't explain why you torched an alleyway."

"Tried something new with my flame power."

"Which was." she asked, as she put on a dry shirt.

"Breathing fire."

"That's not new, you love doing that." There was a knock on the door.

"And I haven't done it since we got back, ergo, it's something new." Percy opening the door

"You can't argue with that logic." A voice said from the door.

They looked around and saw Nico with a smile.

"I'm here to tell you guys that Thalia took Diana and Chase to go to the roof and play in the rain."

"Good thing we made it our own personal playground/training ground." Annabeth said.

"Thanks to Hermes and Apollo, along with a good portion that doesn't get wet." Thalia said coming into the room. "Where's Jason?"

"He took Nancy to the Wolf House." Percy said. "We need to see if the new mutt can stay with the pack."

"You do know that if they don't get Lupa's acceptance they…"

"… Get killed." Percy finished. "I know, and I don't think Nancy will get killed."

"How can you be so sure?" Annabeth asked.

"If you knew her, you'd also say." Percy said.

Percy looked at the closest picture; sitting down on the bed he grabbed it. It was a picture of Percy standing right next to a mirror, giving a look like there's two of him.

"I miss that." Percy said.

"What do you mean?" Annabeth said suspiciously.

"Before everything, when I thought I was normal." Percy said. "And not the most powerful demigod on the Greek and Roman side."

"At least you remember your past." Nico said.

"You could find out more, you just have to fight the Lathe." Percy said.

"And I've tried; I still get flashes here and there, nothing concrete." Nico said. "Bianca has a bit more luck, but that's because she's not like us. We'll be going to Italy soon, and everywhere we used to live, maybe we can figure it out, even more so since dad is letting us talk to mom."

"At least we're going through this together." Annabeth said. "As a group and family."

"I know." Percy said. "It just feels like I'm forgetting something very important, like I know it's important, but I can't put my finger on it."

"Maybe you had visited Lathe when you were younger without knowing about it?" Nico suggested.

"Maybe."

"I remember that picture the first time I visited." Annabeth said; pointing to the picture that Percy had in his hands. "There's something about the other you. I know what it is, I just can't tell you either, I promised your mom."

"Yeah… that's what I get when I ask mom, she like 'I made a promise, and only you can break it by figuring it out.' and I have no idea what she means."

"Percy I know exactly what you need." Nico said with a sly smile.

"What?"

"Right now, you've only dealt with the Greek side of you right? I mean, you've only been to Camp Half-blood, why not go to Camp Jupiter for awhile?"

"Yeah… I see what you mean; I should get back to my duty as Ambassador to Jupiter, Neptune, and Pluto after I get done with my homework."

"Exactly." Nico said. "Jason can teleport to you if we need you, and if I remember correctly, this year was alright until summer."

"Alright, but I have my phone if you need me." Percy said.

Percy finished his homework then flashed to Camp Jupiter, he was made his armor look like a Roman Toga, and started to walk around. He made sure everything was right as Roman. He was going through the cohorts just reminiscing about the times Annabeth and himself were here after the Giant war, he was in the third cohort barracks when something caught his eyes, two pictures.

Stunned he looked at the pictures; one picture was of his mom, Sally Jackson herself, it seemed to be the one that Percy always had with him, the one right before she met Smelly, before his (Percy) mind went on the fritz, she was Happy, extremely happy the days of stress were less, yet still some pressure for her. The second picture was the one he just left, the same one he was trying to take his mind off of. A noise brought him back out of his mind; he jolted around, and almost went into attack position and saw a kid around twelve, had just slammed the door open. The kid looked nervous.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you." The kid said.

"That's fine; I'm just not startled that much anymore…" Percy said.

"You're the ambassador to the sea." The kid said.

"And of Olympus, and the underworld, we do it on a rotational basis, that way we all know what's going on in the world." Percy said. "I won't bite."

The kid came closer and saw what Percy was looking at.

"Zack, The person who has this bunk always looks at it; he said these are the only pictures he has of his family." the kid said. "The scariest part is that you look like him, yet…"

"I have the blessing of Venus." Percy said.

"So you knew what I was going to say… actually he also has Venus's blessing; he saved her from a bad hair day."

"I'm getting used to people staring at me." Percy said. "So where is Zack?"

"He's on mission right now, he takes the most, and he likes to throw himself into work." The kid said.

"Ah… I didn't catch your name." Percy said.

"Phil." Phil said.

"Nice to meet you Phil."Percy said. "So what's Zack's last name?"

"He never mentions it."

"When do you think Zack will be back?"

"He'll be back soon, we hope, it's been a month."

"Where did he go?"

"On an errand for Lord Neptune."

"How long does he normally take for his quests?"

"About a month or two."

"Alright." Percy said.

Percy misted out. He arrived at the Atlantis, as he swam every being waved at him. He was about to go into the throne room when he heard a voices coming from it.

"So Zackary, why must I make this difficult for Perseus?"

"He may be the ambassador but, he won't remember me." Another voice said. "That's what I made sure the Lathe did."

"You made him forget all about you?"

"Yes, I didn't want him to know about the pain we went through; I may have healed him but his mind…"

"I'm sorry for claiming you so early, I you two may have been twins but you were the one to figure things out the fastest."

"Father, I know that He's more powerful now, but if he breaks through the mind block that Hera helped me put on him… he'll be in more danger than ever."

"He already knows about his full heritage."

"What do you mean?"

"What do you think I've been trying to tell you, he's stronger than you give him credit, while you may be a quick study, he learns out of instinct. I think the block is failing anyways."

"Why do you think I've always been taking any quest you guys offer, so I don't have to the brother that got him injured."

"He can forgive you."

"We've been apart for ten years, we separated on our fourth birthday the day of the attack… he won't know me, he…"

"He's stronger than you think. I also know where he is…"

"I don't care where he is, I'm not going to talk to him, and he deserves not to know about me."

"Why is that?" Percy felt a safety bubble surround the room, and just a bit past the doors letting him hear what was being said. "I made sure no one outside the bubble knows what we're saying."

"There is a reason he has the worst luck with monsters, we were attacked on our fourth birthday, I had figured it out early about who you were, that was a big mistake, Percy and mom was almost killed by a fury and the minotaur, they picked him to torture. I was knocked them out with a water blast, after that I had Hera help me place a block on Percy, then made sure mom wouldn't say anything, unless he found out, which I made sure he wouldn't, but thanks to me Percy's healed, but he wouldn't be attacked either… I even had her destroy the mind link we had."

Percy gasped, that's why his mom always wanted to make sure that Percy had that picture of him and the mirror… no, not a mirror, him and his brother… why she kept saying when he figured it out she could tell him. Percy looked around the door and saw Poseidon sitting on his throne, with a teen, Zack, sitting on a coral chair in front, looking down at his shoes. Percy saw his father looking directly at him and mouthed 'future?' Percy nodded, and slipped inside the room, making sure no one could feel his presence.

"I have something to say about Percy…"

"If it's about him being married… I already know, I misted to the wedding, I made sure he couldn't see me."

"Not that, that's not it at all, do you know the other three names?"

"Annabeth, Child of Athena, Thalia Grace…"

"Actually it's Jackson, Sally adopted Thalia, her brother and Nico."

"Fine, Thalia Jackson, daughter of Zeus and brother of Jason Jackson, and Nico Jackson, son of Hades."

"Well, your brother has a secret, and I know for a fact that he wouldn't mind me telling you."

"What is it?" Zack said still looking down.

"If you don't look at me I'm not going to tell you."

Zack sat up straight in the chair.

"Percy, his wife Annabeth, Thalia and her husband Nico; are from the future."

"So he may have a good chance of… what?" Percy could tell his brother was only half listening.

"He defeated Kronos once, Gaea once as well; he defeated Oceanus twice, just a few weeks ago."

"So that's why my powers have gotten stronger."

"Yes, he can handle what you have to tell him."

"I don't know."

"You must be down not to notice that he is more different than you know."

"Considering that the jerk Octavian is afraid of him, yeah, I know he's changed."

"He's took revenge on the beast and Kindly one many times."

"What?"

"The beast attacks Perseus more than any other monster."

"And he's still alive... wait did you say that he and his friends are from the future?"

"Yes, we have no idea how this happened. Hera, Hestia and Artemis came back as well."

"I assume you keeping this from our esteemed uncles?"

Percy walked up behind Zack and remained silent.

"Actually Hades know."

"What about Zeus?"

"Please he'd throw all of us in Tartarus." Percy said.

Zack got up and spun around to find Percy in regular clothes.

"Percy…" Zack said in surprise.

"Like the trick?" Percy asked. "I can make my presence invisible." He added with a smile.

"When did you…"

"I came in at the; 'Zackary, why must I making things difficult for Perseus?'" Percy said.

"So dad knew?"

"Most likely." Percy said. "Considering that I let him sense my presence."

"So you're from the future?"

"And you placed a mind block on me, plus Lathe, so not even gorgon's blood can remove it." Percy said.

"Sorry." Zack said.

"I think we need some privacy to sort this out." Percy said.

Percy put a hand on Zack's shoulder and misted out. They appeared on the look out of the Empire state building, where since it was still raining no one was at.

"Why here, and why is it raining so hard?"

"The raining thing is my fault, I burnt an alleyway, and I conjured the storm to take care of the remaining flames."

"How did you burn an alleyway?"

"Champion of Hestia."

"That would explain it." Zack said. "What do you want to know?"

"Well not much really, there was a reason that dad wanted you to talk, I just want to know what happened on our fourth birthday, and why you decided to make me forget about you."

"I thought you'd be better off with the whole little brother almost getting you killed."

"So I'm older?"

"By a minute." Zack said

"Alright, so what happened?"

"Sorry I just can't tell you."

"I so didn't want to show you this, but maybe if you see it, maybe, just maybe you can tell me what happened that day."

"Nothing will make me tell you what happened that day." Zack said.

Percy smiled slightly; he then pulled off his shirt and turned around.

"You bare back?"

"I use the mist to hide a few things, you may want to pull a trashcan closer to you, and sleep with the lights on."

"What?" Zack asked.

Percy snapped his fingers.

"What in the name of Olympus happened to your back!?" Zack exclaimed.

"Read the largest lettering." Percy said. "Then you'll…"

"Why were you in…?" Percy snapped his fingers letting the back be hidden again, and then put his shirt back on.

"To be simple, I fell in with my love."

"Who was sent to…?"

"She was dragged in after she tricked Arachne."

"So?"

"Annabeth."

"Oh, your wife…"

"So I heard that you came to my wedding?"

"Yeah…"

"You could've been the best man."

"So?"

"I had to use Apollo, I would have had Hermes, but he could've pranked the palace."

"And get you mad at him?"

"Good point, no one would dare make me mad."

"How powerful are you?"

"I cannot say."

"Not even to your brother?"

"It's not that, it's just… sure I made Oceanus fade, I'll make Typhon fade as well, but I do not know how strong I truly am. All I know is there is someone stronger than me."

"Wait did you say that you will take on Typhon?"

Percy nodded.

"But he has been imprisoned."

"And I will have to set him free this summer."

"Are you crazy?" Zack almost shouted.

"No, I know where he's at; he's under the forge that Telekhines will be using to construct the Blade of the soul shredder."

"You mean…"

"Kronos's weapon."

"I have to stall them as much as I can, so that means to release Typhon, when he gets to Wyoming I'll stand and fight him, he'll see what one of the two true remaining children of the main sea can do."

"Want to know what's funny?"

"What?"

"For twins that haven't seen each other in a little over ten year… we aren't acting like this is our first time seeing each other in ten years."

"We aren't typical twins." Percy stated. "We are sons of Neptune and Poseidon, both of them, Legacy of Zeus and Jupiter, Legacy of Hades and Pluto, Legacy of Poseidon and Neptune."

"Wait what's that bout Legacies?"

"Theseus, Perseus, some random son of Hades, a daughter of Pluto, a daughter of Jupiter, and a daughter of Neptune, are our ancestors."

"How do you know all of this?"

"It took a lot of digging through Hades records, and a few other things."

"Like?"

"Reincarnations."

"Would you know anyone with a Reincarnation?" Zack asked.

"Yes, and so do you."

"Who? Mom?"

"No, me."

"No way."

"Yeah way."

"But…"

"But what?"

"I'm surprised; can you tell if I have any reincarnations?"

"No, only you can do that, by meditating."

"I get it." Zack said.

"So do you know about Paul?"

"Yeah, I I.M. mom while they were having a cuddling session. I also I.M. the wedding, why do you think they wanted it small, and to have Hera oversee it."

"So the minister wouldn't freak about a head in a rainbow?"

"Always fun. Anyways I was surprised that Paul was there, though it was the first time I've seen mom happy, Truly Happy."

"I know what you mean, she's even happier than when she was with dad."

"I know what you mean."

"Did you hear about the other thing?"

"Oh mom carrying twin Hermes kids, named after her parents?"

"I guess you do."

"Well she told me the morning after; she wanted to surprise you in person, but since I'm always at Camp…"

"I get it."

"So anyways, she told me the names for the kid. Then she called the night of the kid's birth." Zack said.

"So she keeps you in the loop more than me." Percy said.

"I didn't… your just playing with me aren't you?"

"Yes I am. I also know that my Wife, Thalia, and Nico know about you."

"They might, since they are like you?"

"Yep, we traveled everywhere together." Percy looked at his watch. "Yikes…"

"What?"

"I have to cook tonight, it's five o'clock."

"Ouch, well I better get back to camp…"

"Actually, I'm brother napping you." Percy said. "It's definitely a Blue food night."

"Where are we going?"

"Home." Percy said with a smile.

"Well my home is ca…"

"No your home is with your family, you're huge, messed up, fun, happy family."

"I don't know… I don't know if they ever met me, well I know Jason, we talk since we are the only kids of the big three at Camp Jupiter."

"Well we had a fun day at school, sure English was English, and Greek was Greek."

"Wait Greek?"

"Greek and Rome/Latin class, this semester only for freshmen." Percy said,

"Nice."

"It's boring, we doing Greek first part of class and Latin the next quarter. For the Roman side its torture, for the Greek side its interesting, not by much though."

"I think I go to the wrong school."

"At least your class will understand half of what you say no matter what. I called our teacher a water lily eating, Kronos spawn, that lives in the center of the earth, and I also said that she eats raw meat."

"What did she say?"

"I believe she said, 'That's right.' it was funny."

"The teacher should know not to agree with anything unless she knows what's being said."

"At least it wasn't Latin, there was a girl daughter of Mercury, I've ran into her a couple of times, and she understands Latin." Percy said. "Come on we need to get home."

Zack nodded. Percy then punched Zack somewhat lightly.

"What was that for?" Zack said rubbing his jaw.

"Making me think you weren't real." Percy said. "Be glad it's still raining."

"Ha, ha, ha." Zack laughed.

Percy grabbed his brother's shoulder and they misted to the front door of the apartment.

"Wait before you open the door…"

"Giving me back the true fourth birthday?"

"I Zackary Jackson, Son of Poseidon and Neptune, release the bind on the block of the memories of Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon and Neptune." Zack said regretfully.

Percy had to hold back the scream as the memory of the fury whipping his back, and the cuts of the Minotaur's ax along his chest.

"I shouldn't have done that."

"No, you should have, now the next time I fight that cowman, I'll want revenge." Percy said.

Percy opened the door and pushed his brother Zack inside.

"We're home." Percy said. "Nico, that's two things I need to beat you up about."

"What was the first?"

"Not telling me the truth when we met, Ambassador of Pluto." Percy said.

They walked into the kitchen to find everyone sitting at the table.

"Right, I told you that it was because you were sent there for a purpose." Nico said nervously.

"I don't care, Hera didn't have to take away our memory, and you know it, besides I'm a great actor."

Sally hugged both of her children.

"It's so good to see you together." She cried.

"Come on, Percy snap your fingers, we're hungry." Thalia said.

"Just like when I was a guardian." Percy muttered.

"Dad…" Diana and Chase complained.

"Diana, Chase, and Grace, meet your Uncle Zack."Percy said.

"Hi Uncle Zack!" The three cheered.

Percy waved his hand and an extra chair appeared. Zack sat down.

"Now that we're all here." Percy said; he snapped his finger and roast beef, corn, Green beans, Mashed Potatoes, and watermelon slices appeared… and all of it was blue.

The three five year olds went crazy getting a bit of everything. They had a wonderful night, relaxing, catching up, and playing games (No one saw Paul and Zack talking, or the paper that Paul handed Zack). At ten everyone said goodnight and Zack misted to Camp Jupiter, while the rest went to bed.

The next morning the five arrived at school, after an early morning jog around ten blocks. They entered the school and walked to their lockers ignoring the looks that everyone was giving them.

"These people are driving me crazy." Percy said.

"I know, I think half these people are being lustful." Annabeth said.

"Please, all of them are being lustful." Nico said.

"At least I don't get that much attention." Jason said.

"We can always ask for you, and then you could get another blessing." Thalia said.

"Perce you don't think she will do that right?" Jason asked Percy in Latin.

"Well depending on what they promise her…"

"You do know we all know Latin." Thalia said.

"Sorry Thalia." Both Percy and Jason said.

"Honestly would you have Venus give me that blessing?"

"Yes, and we know she would do it."

"How?" Percy asked worriedly.

"We know what she wants most of all." Annabeth said.

"Is it what, or should I say who I think it is?" Percy asked.

"Well she has been bugging me about it."

Percy groaned.

"What has she asked, and have you decided anything?" Jason asked.

"She's asked every week since we were married."

"Great Aphrodite and Hestia, anyone else? I'm just wondering, about the last time line, was Misty…"

"She was yours."

Percy stopped walking.

"That explains why Misty was into sword fighting instead of makeovers. Do I even want to know why I don't remember that?"

"Let's just say Thalia, Artemis and I have been doing business with Hecate before we came back in time."

Percy groaned again and caught up with the others.

"Were you ever going to tell me?"

"When she turned ten."

"Did she know?"

"Nope, remember she was sent straight to camp."

"Right, so why did…"

"We didn't want to worry you about breaking the deal you made with us."

"But, didn't I?"

"Actually you didn't."

"Percy, you aren't going to win this one… trust me; Thalia, Artemis, Hestia and Annabeth have thought this through." Nico said. "We should speak English, or who knows what our school mates think we saying."

"Fine I guess we can change the subject." Annabeth said.

"Thank Zeus." Percy muttered.

They closed the Paul's room and sat in back, hoping that everyone will behave and look towards the front of the class instead of the back, but as the other students were sitting down they were staring at the demigods.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Thalia shouted at them.

Everyone took out their phones. Fortunately Paul walked in at the same time.

"Everyone put your phones away or I will take them." Paul said. "We also have another student today, he's moved from Rome."

That caught the group's attention. Zack walked in looking at ease. Everyone looked between Percy and Zack.

"Hi I'm Zack Jackson, Twin of Percy, I lived with my dad in Rome and Greece, and I was able to come live with mom, since I haven't seen her lately."

"I didn't know you were coming, we could have car pooled." Percy said sarcastically.

"I didn't know Paul signed me up for classes until last night, he pulled me away and told me, and I figured that I should get on your good side, I think he said that you are the strongest in the "whole" Family…"

"Second strongest."

Zack raised his eyebrow.

"It's true, you may meet the strongest of us soon…"

"Fine, but Paul thought I should be near family…"

"You also wanted to tease Mrs. Sanderson."

"What period do you have her?"

"Second."

"You like the term second don't you?"

"I can't change the schedule." Percy smirked.

"Zack, can you please take the seat next to your twin." Paul said interrupting the two's talk.

"Of course." Zack said. "I mean of course, I would be honored to take a seat next to my beloved twin."

Zack sat down on the last row next to Percy.

"That was fun… how low can you hear?" Percy asked softly.

"Pretty low, I became Lupa's champion after I saved her from a few werewolves, and that's also how I got my first stripe."

"All of us have that blessing." Thalia said very softly.

"Please say you learned to hide your scent." Percy said quickly.

"Relax that was the first thing I did after I ran away, I had to do a few things for Hecate, but I became her champion."

"You know we have her legacy, right?"

"What?"

"One of her sons was the start of the line that ended with Mom's dad, which passed to mom, which led to us."

"No way…"

"Funny isn't it?"

"Why didn't you tell me that?"

"Alright class; the books are under your chairs so please get them out and turn to page fifty."

The class did as instructed. The group pulled out their books from their bags (Zack also had a bag like the group {It was a gift from Hermes}).

"The Iliad? I read this when I was five."

"Well not all of us were in a camp at five. But I read it when I first got too camp as well."

"I was at camp at five." Jason and Zack said.

"Remember that prank we pulled when we were six?"

Oh yeah, we were on clean up duty for everything for six months."

"What did you two do?" Thalia asked.

"Let's just say the first, second, and fourth cohorts were turned lime green."

Everyone snickered.

"We have to get you guys teamed up with the Strolls." Nico said.

"Are you crazy?" Percy shouted.

Everyone (the mortals) looked at Percy

"Percy, is there a problem?" Paul asked.

"Sorry sir, my idiotic brother…"

"I'm not idiotic." Nico complained.

"Fine, Goth boy sug…"

"I'm not a Goth…"

"You wear black constantly…"

"You wear blue constantly, what are you? Are you a Surfer?"

"Boys!" Paul said sternly.

"Sorry dad." Nico and Percy said.

The whole class gasped.

"As you may have heard, or not, I got married this past Christmas, and the kids in back were part of the deal." Paul said with a laugh. "I love their mother very much, and everyone in… What did you call it Percy?"

"We called it; a messed up, big, crazy, fun, loving, happy family." Percy, Annabeth, Thalia, Nico, Jason and Zack said together.

"Right and the messed up, big, loving, crazy, fun, happy family loves me back."

"You're the best dad we ever had." Percy said. "Well step-dad."

"I know what you mean."

"But aren't you just a step-dad? And not have any say…"

"I adopted them, as well, so we can think of ourselves as a big happy family."

"But the last name?"

"They wanted to keep their last name… something to do with for the fun of it."

"Sir, do you know Nancy is?"

Percy and Jason started laughing.

Paul looked at Jason and Percy.

"I heard that she found a way to be closer to her true father." Percy said.

"We knew him and gave her the way; I guess she chose to follow it." Jason said. "Though, we didn't really give her a choice."

"Well it was either that, or a hellhound could have snacked on her." Percy said. "But she could have called someone for a lift home."

"What did you just say?" A class mate asked.

"Nothing that you should be concerned in." Percy and Jason said in unison.

The group snickered.

"They only said they gave her some money and a ticket with instructions." Annabeth said.

The rest of class passed slowly, since it's was a book and no one really felt like reading. The bell rung and the group headed to the next class; as the group headed for the next class they decided to think about what ways to insult the teacher.

As the group sat down Mrs. Sanderson walked in, Zack walked up and introduced himself. When the bell rung Mrs. Sanderson got everyone's attention.

"Hello, I'm Zack Jackson, twin brother of Percy Jackson." Zack said.

"Imagine if there was a monster in the room right now." Percy said.

"I'd feel sorry for that monster." Zack replied.

"Not really. So what do you think of Mrs. Sanderson?"

"She's a wimp."

"Most definitely."

"She's doesn't know the first thing about talking Greek."

"That's right, now will you sit down and stop talking."

Zack sat down. Sanderson wrote: Live life on the board.

"Now today we will start learning Greek." Sanderson said. "Repeat after me. Me smell."

The group laughed silently, while the other classmates struggled.

"Good, that means live life."

The group laughed a bit louder.

"What's so funny back there?" Sanderson asked.

"Nothing you over grown hairless ape, except that you are saying it wrong." The group said at once. Everyone looked at them.

"We said nothing we were laughing at the picture that I drew." Percy said, holding up a picture of the Minotaur wearing a diaper and sucking a bottle. "Though, you should try and teach the others letters first, and not words, this is only freshmen year."

"Are you sure she isn't a monster?" Zack asked.

"Come on if we can't sense her, she deserves to get the drop on us. Besides can't all monsters speak Greek?"

"I guess."

"Not like if she attacks Thalia, Annabeth, Nico, and me, we won't feel a thing."

"Why not?" Zack asked.

"We survived the Styx."

Zack's jaw dropped.

"Do I even want to know?"

"We'll lose it after the war."

"You better. I don't want to the one who loses to a brother with iron skin."

"Please, Thalia also has iron skin and you don't see Jason complaining."

"I did complain, no one was listening." Jason said.

"Wait you said you'd lose it after the war… how?"

"The little Tiber." Percy said.

"What?"

"A Greek curse can't go into the Little Tiber and come back alive."

"Uh?"

"It means we step into the Little Tiber, we lose iron skin." Annabeth said.

"Will you please stop talking about the weather?" Sanderson asked.

The group of six snickered.

"Whatever you say." Zack said.

The rest of the class went back to pronouncing words. Percy and Zack were having a conversation really quietly not to disrupt the class.

"Told you that she had no idea what we're saying." Percy whispered.

"I get it, considering she thought we're talking about the weather." Zack whispered back.

"So why… I have a feeling that you class schedule, you already knew about it."

"I figured that I should be ready to come home, that is if you wanted me to come back, and when I found out Paul was a teacher here, and you were coming I had it all planned out, come as a new student, different last name, the works… let you either draw the conclusions or a theory, come to me about it, but I didn't think you'd find me before I went to school… next week."

"Blame the picture of us together and of mom."

"You were in the bunker?"

"Yeah, blame Phil." Percy said with a smile.

"I will."

"So where are you staying?"

"Where do you think?" Zack said. "I'm bunking with Jason."

"I hope he doesn't keep you up, he's been chatting with Piper a lot."

"Who?"

"Daughter of Aphrodite."

Zack groaned.

"Actually… you wouldn't think she is if you met her, all the other ones, minus Silena, are obsessed with mirrors, but Piper and Silena can fight, and boy can they fight."

"I'll keep that in mind."

The rest of the week was alright, there were more stares, and a few glares (which was the soccer team). Swim practice was fun for the two Jacksons and they were made Co-captains. The rest of the term went swimmingly, the group continued to pass, and tease the teacher, in Greek/Latin class, they were passing in English, and they were passing in Gym, the rest of the periods they were passing with regular B's, and a few a minus's, so they wouldn't be drawing attention to themselves (like there looks weren't doing that already). The Jackson Duo also helped win the championship Swim tournament.

In the month of April Annabeth and Artemis cashed in with Aphrodite and Hestia so Misty (Aphrodite) and Jane (Hestia) were born, and took the potion to become five.
