Sakura P.O.V.
Falling, I'm constantly falling. But I don't know why. Will I ever know why? Why these whispers keep sounding in my head? Black spots pulled at my thoughts.
Suddenly, I was standing in a pitch black room, which only company was small whispers. It was almost like a home to me now, never have I not been to this place in my dreams now.
"We can't just let this go on, Orochimaru-sama. She's seeing us from frequently now. We have to do something very soon." What? I tried peering into the darkness, almost hoping to get some kind of clue as to who it was.
"Don't worry. The plan starts now. Doesn't?" Piercing yellow eyes turned to me, and a scream fled my mouth. But nothing came out, and the darkness enveloped me, cradling me as if I was a new born child…
My eyes flew open as my heart beat frantically in my chest. Air desperately tried to contain itself in my lungs, but it kept spilling out in sporadic amounts. My hands grasped for my chest, and I coughed.
What was that? Who were those people? What did they want? But I knew something was clear. They were planning something big. They were talking about me.
I'd seen this dream, so many times before. Something was wrong. Despite my beating heart, I pushed my covers aside and wanted to see what was happening. Sasuke was still asleep, anyways. I didn't want to wake him, and also feel awkward about the hour before. I wanted to forget that. Focus.
I was about to start walking, but then I heard the door close. Sasuke, dressed in his formal clothes looked wide-eyed at me, but then his face hardened. Wasn't he in bed?
"What are you doing up? You should rest." Before I could even move, I was pushed into a sitting position on the bed.
I frowned and peered up in his face. "Why are you up? Weren't you in bed?"
Sasuke looked a little confused, but concerned. "Well, it was time to wake up, but you wouldn't wake up….so I just let you sleep. I figured it was because of our talk…" I didn't wake up?
"How long was I asleep?"
Sasuke drew his lip in a tight line before replying. "Well, it's past noon, so…"
How could have I slept that long? But I knew the answer why. This led me back to the previous problem I was thinking of.
"We have to secure the kingdom. Something is about to happen-" I was about to try and get up again, but Sasuke pushed me back down, putting his hands over mine. I flushed, and his Adam's apple moved down.
"Look, Sakura. I just think you need rest. I mean, things have been stressful lately. I want to try and make it easier for you. So, just relax. Okay? I'll get someone to bring breakfast for you, and if you still want to work, feel free to." Sasuke looked like he wanted to more, and then suddenly slid his arms around me. Shock ran through me as he took a deep breath.
"I do care about you, and I just want to make thing easier for you." He pulled back, and cleared his throat. He gave me a smile, which just made me blanker than before. Sasuke? Smiling? I felt warmth spread all over me. Sasuke seemed to have changed. He was still being kind to me, even though I rejected him. Why? Why? And why was my heart beating so fast again?
"I'll go call a servant. Stay here, okay?" Sasuke got up, and then the only thing that reminded me that he was here was the gentle click of the closed door.
But I would never see him again.

"Something is wrong with the guards. They haven't reported in all day." A maiden with blue hair said to me, and I had to raise my eyebrow.
Why this all going on now? "Thank you for telling me this. Can you please take up some breakfast to Queen Sakura?" She nodded before scurrying away.
Something was wrong. With all the occurrences in this kingdom, none could with a coincidence. Sakura's parents dying? The peasants trying to oust and kill me? Sakura ending up in coma? Now the guards were not reporting in. I could be over thinking such things, but I was better safe than sorry. But I wanted to go there now, and I couldn't care to call for the guards.
"I'll just have to protect myself." I whispered, and looked at the silver armor standing before me. My hand glazed the surface, before I turned around. The time was now. The time to act, and put an end to this black shroud around all of minds.
I carried my sword in its sheath as I headed down to the guards' quarters. Everything was relatively quiet, and there wasn't a bird in the sky. The silence was deafening to my own ears. I trudged along, the stone pavement, hands tight on my sword's hilt. The guard's quarters came within my vision. Not even a slither of light sneaked its way through the cracks.
My feet came with slow and deliberate steps as I approached the wooden door which was peeling away at the seams. This was it. My hands slowly pushed open the door, and there was silhouette. What?
With more force, I pushed the door away to see a man's back to me. Without hesitation, I pulled out my sword and pointed at the man.
"Who are you? Where all the guards?" The man didn't respond, and his book shook a little. It took me a moment to realize he was laughing. His laughing became louder, almost a cackling noise.
"I'm so glad you're here, my dear, Sasuke-chan." His voice was high almost as if he were a woman. His shoulders shook with little quakes, and I inched closer.
"What? Show yourself you scoundrel!" My hand reached out and spun the man around to face me.
But I didn't see his face, because all had turned into black.
