Epilogue

"Alright, here we are." Anubis pulls the red pick up truck to a stop. As Anubis hops off the driver's seat, Sadie decides to run towards the dock of the lake. Sadie was wearing a black loose tank top with a skull print with jean shorts with the hem rolled; underneath, is a black and white stripped bikini stripe and a pink bikini bottom. Anubis on the other hand, is wearing a white shirt and grey basketball shorts he borrowed from Wilson. Their extra clothes were in separate bags, which is what Anubis is now carrying.

"A little help here, Sadie." Anubis grunted. It was quite heavy carrying two bags and a picnic basket.

Sadie huffed, "You said you were courting me. And it include being a gentleman." Anubis could imagine the smirk in her face right now.

"Oh yeah," Anubis rolls his yes, "Totally forgot about that." he answered, his voice laced with sarcasm.

Sadie turned around to face him, she grinned at the sight of Anubis struggling, "Awww..." she runs to him to just carry the picnic basket.

They proceed to walk towards the dock, staying for a picnic and a swim. Around them is beautiful lush trees and other green life, the sounds of birds and small critters and the pristine lake. It was just the the two of them in a very beautiful place. Sadie puts out the blue checkered picnic blanket and set it down on the ground, smoothing the creases before laying down the food she had prepared. Sadie had brought popcorn, Quinoa burgers (a recipe she got from a friend) and Banoffee Pie and a random compilation of fruits from her mom's garden, sushi and four homemade shakes (Dragon fruit and Strawberry for Sadie, Chocolate and Mango for Anubis) in mason jars. As Anubis puts down the two bags they each own, he hungrily stares at the food she brought.

"Gods, I'm hungry." Anubis groaned.

"Alright, we'll eat." Sadie said. Anubis fist bumped the air upward.

While eating, they talked about the Grand Big Showcase that happened a month ago.

"Have you got any calls yet?" Sadie asks as she drinks down the Dragon fruit shake.

"Yeah, I've put on a hold on some record deal. But I told them that I'd sign when I graduate." Anubis answered, "How about you?"

Sadie tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear, "I'm writing some songs now. But I promised my mom that I'd finish my studies first."

Anubis smiles at her, "that's nice to here."

After eating and thirty minutes, they decided to take a swim.

"Last one in the water is a spoiled egg!" Anubis yelled like a little kid.

"Whatever!" Sadie said as she jumped into the water the same time as Anubis.

Anubis resurfaced above after Sadie dived down, "I was first!"

"No, I was!" Sadie said as she turned to look to Anubis.

"I was-" A kiss interrupted Anubis's line. He immediately relaxed and went with it.

"Whatever" was the last thing Anubis heard before he felt Sadie pushing him underwater.

Yep, Anubis thought. She's the one.
