The moment she realized she had a crush, Zoro swore up and down she wasn't going to get romantically involved. Relationships between a first mate and a captain never turned out well. She could do it; she was a swordsmen. She knew self-control like the back of her hand. It would be no problem putting a silly little heartache aside.

But then she glanced into those dark chocolate brown eyes and her ice heart melted.

"What are you doing?" Zoro asked, composing herself enough to sound annoyed. Swallowing thickly, she crossed her tanned arms and frowned.

"I'm catchin' a fish!" she replied, grinning that gorgeous smile.

"You're not going to catch it by being so loud, idiot."

That pout crossed her leader's face and Zoro could read it perfectly. How am I gonna be quiet when it's so much fun being loud? She then lit up like a firework and the second-in-command knew that was her I-think-I-have-a-really-good-idea face. Whether that was a good idea or not could be debated.

"Zoro will help me stay quiet!" Luffy announced pulling down on the other's arm to the spot next to her. A light blush entered the older's cheeks.

"Fine. I better watch you anyway because chances are you'll fall in," Zoro muttered, averting her eyes. Luffy just laughed and snuggled closer.

Fuck, Luffy just had to make it so hard, didn't she?
