It is then that Bugsy literally goes mad.

The girl is going on and on about pointless drama, how she heard some gym leaders were doing this and that, how she heard others were jealous here and there; how she expected the gym leader conference to go down (based on her girly gossip, that is,)

And some other things that he had tuned out on.

She stares at him while he sleeps, pink eyes blinking in confusion.

"Bugsy?" she asks, shaking him slightly, "Bugs?" she asks once more, this time pulling at his purple locks.

He awakens at once and she lets out a giggle, but stifles it away and her face contorts into a worried look.

"Bugs," she says, "Have you been losing sleep, again?" she asks in a worried voice.

"N-no…" he stutters, quietly.

Her pink eyes meet his purple ones, "Tell me the truth."

He looks down, unable to stop himself from thinking that okay, maybe he is losing sleep, though her words have always bored him so… Would it not make sense that he would fall asleep at her speech?

So he stares into her pink ones and nods.

She lets out some kind of hyper "tsk" noise and shakes her head.

"Now, now, Bugsy, you know what I have to do when you lose sleep…"

And he gulps at his girlfriend's eager face and snarky smile.

Then he realizes just what she meant and bangs his head on the table repeatedly.

She gets up, grabbing his arm and yanking him up.

And then all he hears is the one word that makes him want to bolt, screaming that she's crazy:

"SHOPPING!"
