3rd P.O.V.

Percy was looking around his new house and somehow he ended up finding a secret passageway to a dungeon he never knew existed. It was only when he squinted his eyes did he see a person chained to the furthest wall.

Percy began to walk towards them and his heart literally stopped when he recognized the person; Nico. He felt a mix of feelings that he could only describe as anger, worry, and shock.

Nico's eyes were shut tight, his breathing shallow and weak, and clothes ragged and torn. So naturally he didn't pay any attention when he heard someone walking towards him. His only thoughts were, 'Keep quiet and maybe the pain won't be as bad as the others.'

His eyes actually opened when he heard a broken but familiar voice speak, "Nico? Is that really you?" Nico could barely lift his head without feeling pain, but he did it anyway. His eyes widened when his vision cleared and could see who was directly in front of him.

"P-Per-Percy?"

"I'm here. Can you move at all?" Percy asked gently.

"No. Is there any way you can get me out of these chains?"

Percy nodded, "Don't worry Neeks. I'll have you free in no time."

"How? You don't have a key."

"Please. I could pick a lock when I was 7," Percy smirked even in the seriousness of the situation. Nico gave a small smile and before he knew it, the chains were unlocked. He was pulled into a tight hug but had to hold back because of the sharp shoot of pain that ran through his body.

"I'm glad you're alright. I was worried sick about you."

"You were?" Nico was honestly shocked by his words.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"I've never had anyone that would actually care about me other than my dad," Nico mumbled.

"I will always care about you. And I know this is a bad timing, but I have to show you something."

"What?" Nico asked.

Percy didn't say a word which confused Nico even more, but then Percy gently lifted Nico's chin towards him before he placed his lips on the other boy's.

Nico almost jerked back from surprise, though his eyes did widen more. He finally relaxed more, while slowly closing his eyes. Without even meaning to, Nico let out a soft moan, getting a chuckle from Percy when he heard it. After they separated Percy smirked and said, "So you like me too." Nico barely nodded his head since he could already feel his head pounding.

"So does that mean you're willing to go out with me," Percy said feeling a bit timid. "Yes," Nico breathed. Percy smiled while still holding onto Nico, before pecking his lips. "Come on, let's get you out of here." Percy then had to lift Nico bridal style, his arms clinging to his neck so he wouldn't fall.

Sally then came into the living room, where she noticed there were two boys cuddled up on the couch. She smiled before gathering their attention, "I'm assuming that this is him."

"Yep," Percy said from the couch. "I thought you were looking around the house?" "I was until I found a secret passage to a dungeon that I never knew this house had. Then I found Nico there chained to the furthest wall," Percy said while Nico clenched his hand.

Sally gasped in horror and pulled Nico into a gentle hug so it didn't cause any pain. "You poor thing" After she pulled away, she sternly told them: "Don't you two go anyway, am I understood?" "Yes mom/Mrs. Jackson," both Nico and Percy replied.

"Wonder why she didn't want us to leave and go anywhere?" Nico asked with a curious tone. "Probably because she wants to make you a big meal. You would deserve it," Percy said.

"No I don't. I probably don't even deserve you," Nico looked down.

"Don't you dare say that, if anything I don't deserve you," Percy said pushing Nico's chin up so he was looking at him. He ran his thumb over Nico's cheek to wipe away his fresh tears before moving it across his bottom lip. Before Nico could respond to the touch of affection Sally re-enter the room. She was carrying a plate of French Toast and Hot Chocolate and she placed it on Nico's lap before directing her attention to her son.

"Now what are you two arguing about?"

"Nico won't believe me when I say that he's the most amazing person I've ever met and had the pleasure of dating." Nico's only response was a bright blush of red spreading across his cheeks before sipping on some of the hot chocolate. Sally smiled, "Nico if you're worried I won't approve, then you have no need to worry. Of all the girls that Percy has dated, you are the only person that actually makes him happy."

Nico simply nodded his head and replied, "Thanks Sally."

"Come back anytime you'd like, you'll always be welcomed here. And I'll see if I can get that dungeon removed or destroyed. So go ahead and get back home, since I'm sure your dad is plenty worried about you. And Percy can stay if your dad allows it." Sally smiled while talking. Having no more need to stay there, Percy picked Nico up and helped him outside to his house which was right next door.

Helping Nico sit slowly down onto the couch he whispered, "I'll be right back, I just need to tell your dad what's happened. Okay?"

"Okay, just hurry back, please." Nico asked while laying down.

"I will, don't worry," Percy placed a light kiss on his lips before walking in the other room. Percy found Nico's dad in the kitchen looking at the pictures of his son on the wall.

Without even turning around, Hades spoke. "You already know he's not here."

"I found him," Hades turned to face Percy and spoke, "Where is he?"

"On the couch, but I need to explain how and where I found him." Hades nodded and gestured for Percy to continue, who quickly explained how he found the dungeon in the first place and the exact condition Nico was in while chained up. And anyone could tell that it was anger flashing in Hades eyes after Percy had finished explaining. When Percy finally asked if he was allowed to stay, Hades nodded and began talking.

"I know who took my son, Percy." Who then turned to face him and asking, "Who was it?" "A man of the name of Gabriel Uglino." Once Percy had heard that name, his jaw and fists were clenched together and eyes were dark, murderous even, and he breathed deeply to calm himself. Hades continued to talk. "I'm assuming from your expression that you know that man and that it isn't anything good either." Percy then sighed, "I know him alright. And your right, its nothing good."

father knows." Hades nodded and said, "I got a call from him. Saying that if I wanted my son back alive and unharmed. To call him back in a hour. You are welcome to stay, my son has already informed me on who you are. So if Nico can put his trust in you, so can I. Go wait in Nico's room, I want to talk with him first."

Percy nodded, but before he left he asked, "What do you mean by that if Nico can put his trust in me, so can you?" Hades actually smiled and said, "Nico has never trusted or believed in anyone anymore. If he becomes friends with someone, they just stab him in the back and betray his trust. You're the very first one in several years. Don't do the same as the others."

Percy nodded in understanding, "I would never betray Nico's trust or him. I love him, but maybe that's what he meant that he doesn't even deserve me." "Knowing Nico, he probably thinks that he doesn't deserve to be loved or cared by someone. And so I'm guessing you made the first move. How did he take it?" Hades asked. Percy nodded, "He was surprised and shocked at first. But after a few seconds he closed his eyes and kissed me back. So I'm guessing that he liked me too."

Nico's dad nodded his head, "He has since he met you. In a way he sensed that you were different from the rest. But he didn't want you to make fun of him for it." Percy nodded and went to Nico's room to wait while his dad went to talk to his son.

Hades P.O.V.

I saw Nico resting on the couch when I entered the room. He looked exhausted and perhaps too weak to even move. I saw that his wrists were bruised. Looks like what Percy said about Nico being chained was true. "Nico," When I said my son's name, he looked at me and smiled faintly, "Hey dad." That's when I began to talk, "Your friend Percy told me how he found you. I do know who took you, but I need to know what exactly happened before Percy found you."

Nico nodded and replied, "Thankfully I was only chained and beat a few times. I could have been worse, but I was getting barely any food." I nodded, but I was furious and I continued, "I also need to know who exactly Percy's first step-father is." Nico then bit is lip before talking, "I don't think Percy wants me to tell you dad. Why don't you ask him?" I raised my eyebrow before replying.

"I've already asked him. He said if I really wanted to know, to ask you. And you know full and well that Percy wouldn't tell anyone but you. So who is he Nico? And don't lie." Nico let out a sigh and started to explain, "Gabe is nothing but bad news. He came into Percy's life at a young age and that was just the beginning of Percy's misery and torture." I then asked, "What did he do?"

Nico sucked in a breath and continued speaking, "Gabe abused him and it wasn't just the hitting abuse either. It was worse, a lot worse. When Percy first told me this, he was literally in tears. Clinging to me, scared and frightened. After he finished telling me, I was also in tears and furious about what exactly Percy went though. I then promised to him that I would always be there for him and protect him just like he does for me. When Percy found me there in that dungeon I could tell that he was heartbroken to find me in that state and overjoyed that he found me at all. I could also tell that while I was missing, he had had a breakdown. But I think that was Gabe's plan all along, he wanted Percy to break and he almost succeeded too."

Hades was angry at this revelation, and asked his son. "But why did Gabe use you to break Percy?"

"I'm guessing that somehow Gabe kept an eye on Percy, to find out a way to break him. He couldn't get close to his mom so that didn't work. But he somehow knew that I was his closest friend and maybe something more. Cause when Percy found me, he asked me out."

Hades actually smiled, which make his son's eyes widen in surprise and asked, "You don't care? Especially since I'm dating him now." Hades rolled his eyes and replied, "Why would I care, he's the first person you actually trusted in several years. And I actually approve of him. It doesn't matter who you like, you're still my son. I'll always be proud of you no matter what. Besides it was already obvious that you liked each other."

Nico smiled and said, "Thanks dad. And how is it that Sally and you already knew before we did? And can you tell Percy I need his help." Hades chuckled, "I'm your father, I can tell. And besides you always had a love stricken look on your face every time he was over here and wasn't looking."

Nico pouted, while Hades got up to get Nico's boyfriend. When Hades got to Nico's room, Percy was just laying on the bed, looking at the ceiling. Percy brought his attention to Hades when he walked in the room and said, "Nico needs my help, doesn't he?" Hades only nodded before they left the room.

Percy's P.O.V.

I was walking towards the couch where Nico was residing while thinking. 'Nico is probably hating this. He always hated to be taken care of because it makes him think that he's weak and can't do a single thing for himself.'

"Hey," I said when I was in front of Nico, who replied. "Hey yourself." I gave him a reassuring smile and asked, "How are you feeling?" Nico rolled his eyes and said, "What do you think?" Percy gave a dry laugh and said, "I guess that question was unnecessary. But are you going to be alright?" Nico sighed and said, "I don't know Perce. I can just only hope." I nodded, a little relieved and said. "I hope so too, but you're never leaving my sight again."

Then I lifted Nico bridal style and carried him to his room. Nico chuckled slightly and rolled his eyes, knowing that I meant what I said to him and I would make sure of it. Nico then closed his eyes and cuddled closer to my chest, which brought a smile to my lips. I layed down on Nico's bed first, so that Nico could stay curled upon my chest. Nico let out a sigh of contentment and had a small, but meaningful smile on his face.

It wasn't long before I noticed that Nico's TV was still on and it grabbed my attention because the picture of my step-father was on the screen. I turned the volume up, which caught Nico's attention, and began to listen what was being reported.

"A man of the name Gabriel Uglino was reported dead by witness, Sally Blowfis. There were witnesses confirming that they all saw this man dead in her house." Percy turned the TV off and looked straight at Nico, "I thought we were going to have to take this to court." "So did I, I guess things do turn out perfect in the end."
