Chapter 20

Thanks for all the love. I have missed all of you. I hope I am living up to your standards. Oh I still own nothing.

We drove Julie home and She packed up for the week. We would be staying at RangeMan Miami for the week while we got everything settled for the wedding and looked for a house. Unfortunately for me Ranger said we couldn't do to much house hunting this week because of what the doctor said. After eating lunch the first thing we did was go to city hall and get our marriage license. Apparently in Florida there was a three day waiting period before we could actually get married so we wanted to get that squared away first. We were sitting in the car in traffic and I yawned.

"Babe I think that means it is time for us to go back to the apartment for a while. The doctor said you need to get a lot of rest while we are down here this week." Ranger said as he took my hand in his.

"Steph you were at the Doctors? What's wrong?" Julie asked me with concern in her voice.

"I'm going to be fine Julie. I fell the other day and hit my head and aggravated an old injury so the Doctor just wants me to take it easy." I told her trying to make sure she wasn't worrying about me.

"Okay well I think dad is right we should get you to the apartment and later we will got look for your dress." I looked at her like she had ten heads. "Steph you and my dad are getting married you need to have a dress. It doesn't need to big and poufy it just needs to look nice." I guess she is right but I really had no urge to go shopping anytime soon I just wanted to sit and relax.

"Why don't we go tomorrow and your dad can find someone to marry us and figure out a place for us to get married." Ranger smiled and shook his head.

"Babe do you want me to call Tank and Lula and ask them to be witnesses?" Ranger asked me.

"I would love that but I can't ask Lula and not Mary Lou. So why don't you ask Lester and Amanda to come visit I know they are down here on vacation. It will just prevent drama." I answered him. I love Les so it would definitely be okay for him and Amanda to be here.

"Whatever you want Babe." He made circles on the back of my hand with his thumb.

"Steph? Would it be okay if I dress up too?" Julie asked me.

"Definitely I would love for you to dress up too." I answered her. Then I yawned again. My head was starting to hurt really bad.

"Babe try to go to sleep I can see you are in pain and it is going to take a while to get to RangeMan in this traffic." He kissed my hand and squeezed it.

I closed my eyes and let myself drift off. I woke up in Rangers arms hearing Julie laughing. "Get used to it he does this all the time, and then he tells me to deal with it when I tell him I'm okay to walk." I told her as I snuggled into his chest more.

"Go back to sleep Babe Julie and I are going to watch a movie and get things ready for dinner." He said as he put me down in the bed. "This apartment is set up just like the one in Trenton."

"Okay I won't get lost then. I'll come out a little later I might take a bath. I'm really not feeling too good." He sat down in the bed next to me.

"Julie go pick out a movie I will be out in a few minutes I need to talk to Stephanie for a minute." I pulled his arm and he laid down next to me. "Are you okay Babe?"

"I think so. My head is starting to hurt really bad and my stomach doesn't feel so great either." Ranger wrapped his arms around me and kissed my temple lightly.

"When can you take a test Babe?" He asked me with a small smile.

"Next week. I really think this is just from hitting my head Ranger. I don't want to keep you from Julie why don't you go watch a movie with her and then come wake me up when its over. I am sure I will feel better once I get a little sleep." I kissed his cheek.

"Okay Babe. You get some rest. I love you." He said as he walked out of the bedroom. I don't think I was awake long enough to see him close the door.
