(A/N)
Sorry! It's been a while since I updated. I am trying as hard as I can to write but alas I have no time, even on vacation.
This story is about to come to a close. This is the last chapter and there will most NOT likely be an epilogue but there maybe a few outtakes. I feel that this story has come to a satisfactory closure. Thank you so much for reading and a special thank you to XHaileeX for letting me adopt her story.
Yes this story was not originally mine. For anyone that did not know this until now, you did not read my A/Ns
Disclaimer: I DON'T OWN TWILIGHT! She would probably update faster.

I looked at myself in the mirror again and took a deep breath. My hair was down and I had on a blue tank top with a pair of jean shorts and boots. I'd done my make up a little bit, in case we were going somewhere public. I wondered if I should have dressed better or something. It would have been easier to dress if he had told me where we were going.
It had been six months since we had left Forks.
Edward had gotten us a flight to New York with a layover in Chicago.
I thought of my dad often. I knew nothing of how he was doing. I didn't know how my mom and Phil were. I'd ask Alice when I saw her again.
Edward had found us a nice, big apartment in the Manhattan, with dark blinds and big curtains for really sunny days (which actually happened quite often). This was no longer necessary only for Edward. I glistened in the sun as well. Edward had looked at me in awe and told me that I'd looked beautiful when he had first seen me in the sun after that change.
I'd become more vampire like and all my wounds now required venom to close, though it was harder to injure myself. Over time and constant exposure to venom, I found that it no longer burned to have Edward's venom touch a wound, though i wasn't sure if it was just Edward's or if it would apple to all vampires.
A more interesting development was that I'd developed my own venom. I could heal my own wounds if I wanted to.
I found less and less need to eat human food and lately it had been off-putting. I'd opted to go hunting with Edward one time and though I had changed into a wolf to hunt, I had drained the blood of the animal rather than eating it.
"Ready?" I asked, leaning against the door. Edward jumped and turned to face me. His eyes widened.
"Bella," he breathed. He took a step towards me, "Maybe we should stay here."
"Not going to happen, Mr. Cullen," I said, laughing inwardly at his ridiculousness. I looked like I did every day . "You've kept me in suspense long enough. I need to find out now."
He chuckled and grabbed his sunglasses off the bed. He was wearing a blue button down shirt and jeans with converse.
"Let's go then."

"Where are we?"
We'd driven for an hour and ended up near out somewhere with mountains and trees.
"A mountain."
I sighed, "This I can figure for myself. Why are we at a mountain?"
"Patience, love. Patience. We're taking a hike."
"Patience is not a virtue I possess," I muttered, grumpily. Louder I said, "Why are we taking a hike?" He shook his head and smiled before taking my hand. He led me through the trees in the mountain slowly, making sure I kept a walking pace.
"Ugh! This is ridiculous! Why can't we run?" I asked about 20 minutes into the walk. He'd been planning this all week and he'd only told me that we had plans on friday. He hadn't mentioned it again until yesterday, but I'd been stewing in curiosity all week. I wasn't in the mood to be patient.
He smiled good-naturedly, "Relax. We're not too far now. Can't you just enjoy a walk with me?" I sighed at the feeling of guilt that arose in me and I leaned in closer to him. Why was he so patient today and not laughing at my whining?
He held my hand while we walked and that lessen my irritation towards him just a bit. Over the next half hour I relaxed more and I enjoyed myself rather than fighting him about the hike. We didn't talk, but the silence was comfortable.
Soon I heard the rushing of water and I looked at Edward. He avoided my gaze, running his hand through his hair uncomfortably. I broke away from him and walked faster, excited to see what it was. It was either a river or a water fall.
We broke through some trees into an area with rocks and a waterfall, which was big enough to swim in and fairly secluded. Was this his plan? A day swimming. The water looked cold and clean, perfect for swimming. Edward caught up to me and wrapped me into a hug from behind.
"Do you like it?" he asked into my ear. I nodded, turning around in his arm so I was facing him.
"So why all the secrecy?" I asked. "Was swimming in a waterfall all that important to you? Some sort of unfulfilled fantasy?"
He ignored my question and pulled away and looked at me.
"You're so beautiful."
"Don't change the subject," I pouted. He chuckled and took my hand.
"Remember that day in the meadow when we confessed our love to each other?" Edward said.
"Yes," I said unsurely. It sounded like a question.
"I wish I could to this there, a place that's more significant to us, but we can't be there right now. I do however, promise that we'll go back there one day."
I was lost. What?
"I come here whenever our family is in New York to get away from the noise. It's very rare that anyone passes by. That meadow was an area like that to me so I figured this was as good a place as any to do this."
"Edward wha-" I stopped when he got down on one knee.
"Yes," I blurted out. I covered my mouth and he chuckled.
"Let me ask?" he requested. I nodded, hand still covering my mouth.
He took out a box and opened it up to reveal a ring. The ring was oval shaped with small diamonds set diagonally. there was a narrow gold band and gold weaved in between the diamonds. "This ring was my mother's. She would have wanted you to have it. Bella, I know it hasn't been that long since we met, but I'm not going anywhere. We're bound to each other for the rest of our lives. Will you make the binding official and marry me?"
"Yes!" I said uncovering my mouth. He slid the ring onto my finger and I threw my arms around him and gave him a hug. He chuckled and pulled back to give me a kiss. I looked at the ring on my hand again, realizing just how right it looked there. Edward took my hand in his and stared at the ring.
"It fits," he muttered happily. "I didn't even have to get it sized."
I smiled and gave him a kiss, "I love you."
"I love you, too," He smiled at me, his eyes shining with happiness and love.
Love.
Who would have thought?
In love with the enemy.
Marrying a bloodsucker.
Imprinting on the forbidden.

I don't think this needs an epilogue. I said the title (kind of) and all that cheesy stuff.
This could act as the epilogue honestly. There will be outtakes eventually but this is done for now. I'll be clicking the complete button and it will stay that way until I have an outtake or two to post.
Thank you to those of you that read this and I hope that I did XHalieeX justice, even if the story took a couple unexpected turns (which for me it did).
