Oh gosh, did FF updated or something? I can't insert my line! (I don't like it) Anyways, a billion apologies to everyone. 2014 wasn't the best year. Many can relate, but I decided it was time you guys get another chapter. Sorry it isn't my usual seven thousand words, but this is probably the part of the story I have no idea what to do to get to my next planned scene. It's getting there though. I hope you enjoy! Ticking That Melody is soon on its way!

Hiccup slurred the two words more and more as he said them. After each syllable, they became quieter until his whispers turned into meaningless air. Soon enough, all of Hiccup's weight was put on Jack the moment he moved his head away from Jack's and onto guardian's shoulder.

Poor boy must have been so exhausted that he fell asleep like this. He was out cold with his head against Jack's shoulder and his arms were hanging lifelessly to his side. His knees already gave out, and the only thing that was holding him up, was Jack's grip under his arms and around his thin waist.

"It's okay." Hiccup mumbled one last time in his sleep before nuzzling closer into the guardian's cold body. Jack smiled softly at the younger boy. His smile soon fell when he could feel how hot Hiccup was. He was burning up with a horrible fever.

He had to get Hiccup to the other guardians as soon as possible. Maybe they could do something about Hiccup's fever. He wished that there was something he could do to help his eyes as well, but as he heard from the blind boy himself, poison had entered into his eyes and there was nothing they could do about it.

Or so that's what Hiccup thought! Maybe simple, very bad first aid couldn't do anything about the poison, but what about the Guardians? What about North and his magic? Surely his old mentor he's heard so much about taught him something in the medical department!

Jack smiled, getting excited over the very possibility. It won't hurt to ask, right? Maybe, just maybe there will be some sort of miracle in Hiccup's future. So if his eyes were healed, then he could be a big help with the dragons Pitch has been controlling, and while he's busy with the dragons, he could go for Pitch and end him right there. As good as the Nightmare King is, he can't focus on two things at once right? And Hiccup could get all of his dragons to help fight!

Jack gulped.

He sure hopes so, but for now, he has to focus on getting Hiccup back to North's workshop safely. One thing at a time, Jack.

"Oi, Hiccup," Jack heard a door slam shut as the man from earlier started speaking. "Yer father says yer grounded! I'll be watchin' you tonight, so don't try anything that'll get ya killed, got that?" Yelled the blond haired Viking. He sounded like nothing happened at all! Like it was good news to him that Hiccup was grounded. Jack growled. He then heard a heavy sigh from right below them, for it was pretty much an open house with no doors to separate rooms. "Stoick's gone out to look for Toothless. Odin, help that poor dragon."

Jack had to be honest. He wanted to hate the man, but as Gobber held Hiccup in place as they were doing a horrible job with first aid, Gobber looked as if he did not agree to Stoick's command. He cringed every time Hiccup screamed. Though, he wasn't the only one who did that. Jack had to shut his eyes while he gripped his staff tightly.

There wasn't anything he could have done for Hiccup while he was being held down against his will. Why did it hurt him so much to see Hiccup like this now? It was too much for Jack to bear, that he headed up stairs, covering his ears to the best of his abilities just so he couldn't hear Hiccup scream. It wasn't much though! It's not like he was being tortured or anything. It was just something Hiccup wasn't used to, and it probably stung horribly. Was it so painful because it seeped through his eyelids perhaps?

Hiccup suddenly stirred in his sleep, groaning irritably. Jack then loosened up his grip on the boy. He was getting so tense and lost in his thoughts that he slowly tightening his hold on Hiccup, which made the boy uncomfortable.

With a more gentle motion, Jack brought Hiccup closer to him so he could lay his head on top of Hiccup. He closed his eyes as he ran his cold hand up and down Hiccup's hair, getting back to his thoughts.

The moment when his screaming stopped, Jack uncovered his ears just in time to hear Hiccup admit that he was blind due to Nadder poison. What shocked him the most though was how much he still cared for the dragon even though she took his sight away. He knew it wasn't the dragon's fault, so he didn't want her to be punished for something she didn't do personally.

"It's going to be all right, Hiccup." Jack whispered, carefully walking backwards towards the wooden bed. "You're going to be just fine. I promise."

Jack laid Hiccup down gently on the bed before he went to search for that paper Hiccup had written earlier. He wasn't sure what was on the paper, but he was sure it was something along the lines of "I'm safe", so that could come in handy right now. Just to keep Hiccup on the safe side. Jack wouldn't want to upset his giant, Viking father.

The guardian gulped. The paper wasn't where they had left it. At least he knew that Stoick or someone got the message. So maybe it was downstairs? Jack thought, sneaking downstairs even though he can't be seen. And there it was! The paper was right on the table. The moment Gobber looked away, Jack snatched the paper and sped his way upstairs and to Hiccup's desk. He grabbed one of the charcoal pencils and circled the entire page multiple times without going over the strange lettering that Jack knew nothing about. Jack then grabbed a small dagger that was for some reason in the mug that held the charcoal in (He's in a Viking house, so he didn't question it much) and stabbed it though the paper so it wouldn't fall of the desk and grab attention to either Hiccup's father or Gobber.

"I hope you're ready Hiccup." Jack whispered as he took the portal globe out of his pocket. He gave it a swirl and said "To North's workshop." And tossed it.

"What in the name of Thor?" Gobber questioned from downstairs. "Hiccup?" He yelled. Jack could hear the large Viking's steps, knocking over a few items as he walked towards the stairs that led up to Hiccup's room.

"Oh shoot." He was coming up! As quickly as he could, Jack gathered Hiccup in his arms. Clumsily sliding his right arm underneath the boy's skinny knees and his left around Hiccup's torso.

"Ow!" Hiccup jumped in his arms and curled up from the sudden pain on the side of his head.

Oops. Jack winced. The moment he heard Gobber call Hiccup's name again and his steps grew louder, he panicked and accidentally banged Hiccup's head against the desk that is oh so dangerously close to the bed.

"Sorry!" Jack quickly apologized and made a jump into the portal, almost losing his staff along the way as he held on to the injured boy tightly. Luckily this time Jack landed on his feet before looking back to the portal.

"Close, close, close!" He demanded, even though it doesn't leave on command.

To Jack relief, it closed before the Viking could get through. "Oh thank goodness." He heaved, embracing the boy in his arms. "I am so sorry, Hiccup. How's your head?" Jack asked. He was trying to carefully check, but before Hiccup could answer or Jack could take a better look, yetis and elves were swarming around the two boys, and along with them, came Toothless. The dragon was running and jumping his way through the crows with great skill, so that he didn't hit a single creature.

As soon as Toothless got to his rider, he sniffed the boy, blowing a bit of familiar warm air from his nose as he nudged at Hiccup's cheek. Toothless let out a downhearted purr the moment he saw the bandaged wrapped around Hiccup's eyes.

"Toothless!" Hiccup exclaimed happily with a bit of exhaustion in his voice. "Oh am I glad to see you're safe, bud!" Toothless licked his cheek, then the bandages. Hiccup raised a hand to touch them. "I'm fine, Toothless. It's just my eyes." Hiccup gave his dragon a small smile of reassurance and hugged him. "Put me down?" He asked the guardian politely.

"But I wanna hold you more." Jack grinned towards Toothless, tightening his hold on Hiccup while twisting his body to rock them. He hoped to lighted up the mood. It was only a bit of teasing and joking around with his friend, but Jack knew that there was a bit of something to it. That he actually really did like having Hiccup in his arms when times weren't so intense. That he had nothing to worry about when it came to keeping his safe, or saving someone. It was just a moment where he can hold someone. Someone that he cared about and someone he can have fun with. To sum it up, holding Hiccup made him feel warm inside. Which is a weird feeling for him, but he really did like it.

Toothless growled and Jack stopped rocking the dragon's rider. Jack's grin now became a glare at the dragon that could easily burn him anytime he wanted to. He gave him an innocent smile, rolling his eyes. "Fine. I guess it is your turn, huh?" He said to Toothless.

The Night Fury nodded once, and Jack could have sworn that the dragon gave him the most evil, smug look that he has ever seen..

Jack carefully placed Hiccup back on the floor right in between him and Toothless. Good thing he did because Hiccup's leg gave out right when Jack's support on him left and both he and Toothless caught him.

"Hiccup?"

"I'm alright. I'm alright." Hiccup grunted, using Toothless as a crutch. But Jack could see that he was using every ounce of his strength just to hold himself up. "Was this a set up?" Hiccup asked. He turned to make an attempted grin at towards Jack.

"Huh?"

"You. Hitting my head just so you can keep carrying me like a damsel in distress?" Hiccup groaned in pain and reached out for Jack who instantly responded back. "Because congratulations Frost," He laughed weakly, wrapping his arms around Jack's neck. "Your wish has come true."

Jack chuckled and lifted Hiccup back into his arms with ease. For some reason, this felt different from a minute ago. Even though he was incredibly worried about Hiccup's condition, Jack was immensely happy holding Hiccup again. For some reason, he felt like they were physically closer to each other even though he wanted to be impossibly closer than that. It was almost like Hiccup needed to be held, but not because he couldn't stand. For some reason, Jack felt like Hiccup needed him more than ever right now.

"…Jack?"

"What is it?" Jack answered softly. He had a nagging feeling that something was wrong. Like something had happened during the few hours he was away from Hiccup. Now that he thinks about it, that was the longest time he's been away from the boy since they've met. Was he really that attached to this blind dragon trainer?

"… Can we go to that room? The one with the comfy bed?" Hiccup asked quietly. His arms tighten around Jack and his breathing was… Slow. As if he was nervous about something. Something that was on his mind that needed to be let out, but not yet ready.

"Of course." Jack spoke softly, but only to Hiccup. That tone felt like it belonged to Hiccup and Hiccup only as he tried to speak with the same kindness and feeling to Toothless, but it came out differently.

The dragon seemed to have noticed this, but did nothing. Just by the look this guardian gave to his rider, he could tell that Jack was completely trustworthy and he would take care of his Hiccup as much has he would like to. But it doesn't work that way. The relationship between him and Hiccup is completely different from the relationship with Hiccup had with Jack or even Astrid. Although there were times that Hiccup could not talk to Astrid like he does with him or now recently with Jack. Toothless could see just how much caring, king and gentle Jack is with Hiccup. But at the same time, he was playful, which made Hiccup smile a whole different smile that Toothless loved seeing his best friend have.

With a purr in response, Toothless followed Jack into the bedroom where he watched Jack gently place Hiccup on the bed. The guardian then kindly ordered a few yetis to get some cold water and rags for Hiccup's fever and the elves to bring some soup and some tea. It all reminded Toothless the last time Hiccup caught a small cold.

Both the boy's father and Astrid practically told him to man up, be a Viking and power his way though it because "Vikings do not get colds!" And so he did power his way through it. But at the end of each day for a week and a half, Toothless watched as his best friend skip dinner and collapse on the bed.

"Y'know bud," Hiccup had said with a hoarse voice, placing a wet rag on his forehead. "Sometimes I feel like I'm not a true Viking. First I couldn't kill dragons, which by the way is the best thing I couldn't do, and now I can't man up through this cold? Vikings aren't suppose to get colds, but I feel like I'm dying here!"

It killed him seeing Hiccup look so weak and miserable.

His ears perked up when he heard a short laugh from his rider. He watched the two boys some more and saw a weak, but genuine, smile on Hiccup's face as he playfully smack Jack's arm.

"Don't worry about me." He said. "It's just a headache and a fever, Jack! I'm not sick! Though the headache was your fault!"

The look on Jack's face, Toothless observed, was strange as the guardian reached over to touch Hiccup's cheek, but held back with a bite of his lip. "Sorry." He apologized with a small smile. No one has ever looked at his rider like that, and Toothless liked it. If this was going to go on further, Hiccup has to know somehow what Jack is feeling and how much he really, truly cared for the blind boy. If he was going to give his rider and best friend to someone, this was definitely the kind of person he was going to give him to. With the smiles Hiccup's been having all week, they were nothing like the ones with Astrid, but more like the ones Hiccup has given to him. He just wish he could see those bright green eyes again.

"Is Toothless in here?" Hiccup asked suddenly, breaking Toothless out of his thoughts.

"Yeah." Jack answered as the dragon got up from his spot by the fireplace and slowly walked over next to Hiccup with a purr.

Hiccup smiled, reaching out for his dragon. "How are you? You doing okay, bud?"

Toothless laid his head on Hiccup's chest and answered with a slow nod. He made sure he didn't get in the way of Jack as he was putting a cold rag on Hiccup's forehead before laying his large body down on the floor, his head still resting on Hiccup. Toothless then made a couple of noises along with a couple of soft jerks of his head.

"I'm all right. I… I need to talk to Jack." Hiccup said. His hold on Toothless became tighter, but it was still pretty weak along with the rubs he's giving his dragon. "Actually, I need my two best friends right now." Hiccup smiled and patted the spot next to him on the bed for Jack, indicating he wants the guardian to sit on the other side of him.

Jack then glanced at Toothless as if to ask him for permission to lay with his rider again. Toothless nodded, snuggling closer to Hiccup without discomforting the boy. Jack smiled softly, saying something to the yetis before crawling on his hands and knees to the spot next to Hiccup and lay himself down with their shoulders touching.

The three of them were now alone, and Hiccup began to tell them everything that had happened when they had left the arena. As he told the whole story, Hiccup was running his hand up and down Toothless's head while the other was fiddling around with Jack's hand.

There wasn't much to say about the Vikings. They had locked up three dragons and were going for Toothless, and that's why said dragon was suddenly taken to the North Pole with no explanation. After the other Vikings left, him and Astrid were alone at the arena. That's when Hiccup felt chillier. Like Jack was running his freezing hands up and down Hiccup's skin. It pretty much felt exactly like that, but he knew it wasn't Jack. It was something else that ran up and down his body. Chills and Goosebumps from being afraid seemed to have covered him, but he didn't know what he was supposed to be scared of. Although, as he and Astrid started to argue, he felt it. That extra presence that went unseen and surrounded the two Vikings with fear and words of harsh truth came spewing out of their mouths. And just like that, their relationship, whatever they had with each other, ended. It was gone. And so was that extra presence.

Hiccup was speaking as if he didn't know exactly what had happen. Though he didn't know how it happened, he knew exactly who was behind it. And as soon as he gets his strength back, fix Toothless's tail somehow, and come up with a plan with the other guardians, he will make sure Pitch Black pays for what he has done to his dragons.

Hiccup's grip on Jack's hand became tighter, and if Jack didn't know any better, he would have thought that Hiccup was feeling better and his strength was replenished. But alas, it isn't. This boy was naturally pretty strong for someone who is as thin as he was.

Jack was unsure what to say. He had several questions he wanted to ask, but he and Astrid just broke up didn't they? So maybe he should comfort him first? He really didn't know, but as time pass while Jack was thinking of what to say, Hiccup's grip was now loose and rested in his cold hand.

He turned to look at the younger boy, opening his mouth to say something. He held back, seeing that Hiccup's hand was slowly sliding off of Toothless's head, and his head nodded off to the side.

"Hiccup?" Jack whispered, unsure if he had fallen asleep. With bandages over his eyes, he was unsure, but when he didn't get a response, he figured that Hiccup did indeed fall asleep.

Sitting up, Jack carefully grabbed the now warm rag off of Hiccup forehead and dipped it in the bowl of water that was placed to the side. Before placing the rag back on the feverish boy, Jack instead lowered himself down so that his forehead touched Hiccup's. He was still incredibly warm, but not as bad as before.

Toothless grunted when he realized just how long he was still there, not moving from his spot on Hiccup's forehead. He opened his eyes and noticed how close his lips were from Hiccup's. If he wanted to, he could kiss this boy. Find out what it was like to kiss someone again. He never had any deep affections before, and the only kisses he's ever given or received were from his family way back when. Sure he was fond of Hiccup, He cared about him lots, and he loved being around him twenty-four seven, but how deep are his feelings towards this boy? How does he know if it's love or friendship? He had no idea what the differences were between a best friend and a lover.

Anyways, no time for any of whatever he was thinking about. He had to get back to business and leave Hiccup and Toothless to rest.

"Take care of him, will ya?" Jack asked the dragon, lifting his head off of Hiccup before placing the icy cold rag back on his forehead. Toothless nodded, tilting his head afterwards and nudging it forward. Somehow Jack knew he was being questioned, like the Night Fury didn't want him to leave them, or rather Hiccup, alone. "I'm going to North's library. There has to be a book about poison, dragons, or healing! Something that could help Hiccup's eyes. Anything! I have to find it, Toothless!" Jack exclaimed.

As he walked to the door, Toothless followed, stopping him from opening it to press his head caringly to Jack's chest, giving him a purr of thanks. Jack smiled, saying nothing as he shared a long, warm hug with a dragon he never thought he'd get along with. "If you two need anything, give a holler. I'll be back." He ran his hand across Toothless's head, giving it a single pat before heading out the door and to sneak in North's magic library he's heard so much about, but was forbidden to go in.

As quietly as he could, Jack closed the massive door slowly, thinking of a way to get into private library. With everyone so busy, he could maybe tip toe his way around into North's office and nab the key. Then, discreetly make his way to the library and he's in!

Turning around though, Jack was met with the eyes of Tooth, and with that, all of his plans were down the drain. He was so caught up with his oh so well thought out plan, he was caught by surprise and nearly jump.

"You okay, Jack?" Tooth asked, concerned for the young guardian and his new friend. Jack nodded nervously, giving the Tooth Fairy an innocent smile.

"Yeah. Fine. I'm good." He nodded, straightening himself up like he was caught in the act, even though he had only just walked out of the room. She gave a nod.

"And Hiccup? How is he doing?" She asked quietly.

"Uh," Jack ran his fingers through his hair. "He's doing fine. I think, I mean, he was in a bit of pain earlier, but he's sleeping now." He smiled, thinking about the peaceful look Hiccup had as he slept. His smile didn't go unseen by Tooth. She giggled and floated closer to his face, staring into his eyes. Jack backed away until he was against the door. "What?" He asked, unhappy with the lack of space.

She giggled again and floated away. "Oh nothing. C'mon! We need you up here!"

"For what?" Jack yelled up, but she either didn't hear him, or ignored the question. He sighed and followed her up to where the other guardians were gathered around by the giant, sparkling globe. He glanced at the globe for a minute to find Berk, but the island was no where to be seen. Maybe it was too small? Jack then saw the concern look on the guardians' faces. "What's going on?" He asked, walking towards the huddle.

Worried filled within him. This was different. Different because there were yetis gathered near by that carried all different sorts of weapons on them and Bunny for some reason brought along some of his larger eggs and egg statues.

"Where's Hiccup?" North asked.

"Resting." Jack answered, squinting his eyes as he scanned the others. "Why?"

"Maybe it's better that way, North?" Tooth practically whispered. Bunny nodded.

"The kid doesn't need to know right now."

"Can someone please just tell me what's happening?" Jack asked impatiently.

North sighed, "Pitch.. He took some dragons and fled the island."

"We chased him for miles, but lost him on this other island far from Berk." Tooth informed. "So, maybe Berk is safe for now?"

"We shouldn't keep something like this from Hiccup! He needs to know what happened to the dragons." Jack argued, getting ready to fly back down to the room, but stopped himself from waking up the boy.

"Why?" Bunny said, taking a step towards Jack. "So the kid can have more on his plate knowing that his dragons are in trouble while he's stuck here, unable to do anything for them?" Jack tried to say something against it, but there wasn't anything. They were right. Hiccup didn't need anymore problems than what he already has. If anything, he needed good news, and Jack was going to give him good news.

"So what do we tell him?"

No one answered. The Guardians stood there, Tooth, Bunny and Sandy passed glances to one another while Jack stared at North. The large man stood there with his chin between his thumb and finger.

"Nothing." North mumbled after a while. All eyes were on him. "We tell him only good news. We tell him Berk is being secure and Pitch is off island. We tell him nothing else." Everyone nodded and agreed to keep him in the dark while they all wait for something to happen. Whether it was Pitch Black coming back to Berk, or a response from Man in Moon.

So while the guardians were discussing the security that will go on Berk for their minions. Jack decided this would be the perfect time to sneak into North's office while no one was looking.

Surprisingly, he made it to the office, which was thankfully opened, found the key to the library and entered inside the mysterious large room at the very bottom floor deep within the mountain.

"Whoa." Jack breathed out, not expecting it to be impossibly large with every inch of the massive room to be filled with books of all sorts of sizes. There were so many books, he just wanted to crawl back into bed with Hiccup and give up, but then again, he was doing this for that particular boy. "Well, better get started."

.

.

It almost took maybe an hour for the guardians to think and draw out the shape of Berk, giving each of their helpers a position on the island, telling exactly what they need to look out for. Any signs out of the ordinary that isn't a dragon, or at least a dragon that isn't out of control, and send at least three of them back.

Each of them will have two members with them, one from each of the guardian's home. That way, the yeti could protect in just in case, the egg could use its portal, and the fairy can use speed to bring the urgent message to the guardians. Then all would rush in to the portal, ready, and quick to react.

Now that everything was finished, all they needed to do was wait for something to happen. Though, Tooth and Sandy had to go back to work, Tooth more so since half of her fairies were on duty in Berk. Bunny had decided to stay at the North Pole since he didn't have much to do back in his warren.

"Ay," Bunny called out to North, who was busy making more snow globe. "Isn't it a bit quiet in here?" He asked, looking around the building with crossed arms.

Almost unsure by what he meant, North hummed, looking around as well. Something did seem out of place, until he realized what they had been missing for actually over an hour. North sighed. "Jack." Bunny nodded.

"Probably causin' some mischief or somethin'."

"Oh he's probably in the room with little Hiccup." North went back to focusing on his portals, but still keeping the conversation going. "He's rather close to the boy don't you think?"

"Maybe too close if you ask me." Bunny responded truthfully with concern. North nodded in agreement.

He hummed. "No one can stop true love though, and Jack is falling more every minute he's with that boy."

"We may need to talk to him about falling for a mortal, North. Kid's gonna get heartbroken if the two actually get any closer." North paused. Taking his time to think before responding.

"No." Was all he said. Bunny waited and waited, realizing North wasn't going to say any more.

"What?"

"You heard me, Bunny. No." North stopped, placing the completed portal into a small basket before looking at Bunny. He knew the look on the Pooka's face was full of confusion and concern. "Listen, Bunny." North started, glancing around as if looking for a Jack to appear even though it was unlikely. "I think Jack should be happy for as long as he can while Hiccup is still alive."

Bunny hummed, still not certain about all this.

"If we stop him now, filling his head with thoughts like that, he will hurt himself and little Hiccup by distancing himself."

"…I guess you're right." Bunny mumbled.

North nodded, standing up from his work bench to put an around Bunny. "Either way, he's going to get hurt, Bunny. But this way, at least he will be happy until Hiccup's life comes to an end."

Bunny agreed. Even if Jack was a huge pain in the tail, he would rather see Jack happy and mischievous rather than down and alone. "Let's just hope he doesn't get hurt by any more dragons."

With a pat on Bunny's back, North went back to work. "We'll just have ta keep him here until Berk is safe then! Now help me with my portals, we'll need plenty for our battle!"

.

.

Jack sighed out of exhaustion and irritation. There were just too many book to look at, and none of them helped him at all. What if there just wasn't anything that could help him and he was just wasting his time? He could be doing something else to help Hiccup or even find Pitch. Instead he's just looking at millions of books blindly. His eyes were losing focus so often due to there being too many words on the shelf that are just making him dizzy after two hours of searching in this giant maze of a library.

He squeezed his staff, growling loudly to keep him from screaming his head off.

"Can't find what you're looking for?" North asked behind Jack, making the boy jump.

For a second, Jack was scared. Scared of being yelled at or angering North for breaking in his sacred library with out asking. But seeing as how the man had a sympathetic smile on his face, Jack was able to relax, but he still looked down in guilt.

"You're looking for something to help with little Hiccup's conditions aren't you, Jack?"

Jack nodded. "How did you know I was here?"

"Toothless." Jack quirked his lips to one side as if the dragon ratted him out and he's in trouble because of it. "Jack, we figured that you would be with little Hiccup, but when we saw that you weren't, we asked Toothless." North chuckled. "Now," He patted the smaller guardian against his large body. "What is it that you are looking for?"

Jack thought about it for a minute before shrugging. "I-I don't know. Something, anything to help with Hiccup's condition."

"Hm…" North placed his chin between his two fingers before snapping his fingers. "Ah! I think I know the book! Follow me, my boy!"

And off the two went, deep into the library.

"Do you think it's possible?" Jack asked quietly, still slightly dizzy from all the letters.

"Let's hope so, Jack." He contemplated. "Ombric has taught me all kinds of healing and cures, but for a dragon?" He didn't know. His mentor had taught him many things including how to speak fluent dragonese. The question is though, did Ombric have anything for dragon poison?

"Any books on dragons?" Jack asked, feeling like he being too needy considering their situation right now. Was North still busy with the planning? Did he check on him because he and the other guardians need him and he was wasting North's time?

But this is for Hiccup, he reminded himself. This could help with their plan. If North was able to find something, get Hiccup's eyes back to normal, they will have a better chance at winning this war.

Thank you all so much and I hope you guys enjoyed it. To get back into my writing mood, I'll be writing some one shots and post them here. Again sorry if it was short. Happy New Year! For this year, I'm definitely going to try to get a chapter of both stories up at least once a month. What about you guys? Any goals for this year?
