Summary: Kagome was innocent! She really only wanted to grab something from her potions masters storeroom then leave she never thought she would end up in the position she was in. On the ground, with her Professor hovering over her, sharp teeth bared as he licked her cut fingers in hunger. Kagome knew she was in trouble then.

Chapter Four

Lucius Malfoy was a dark creature, but not any dark creature. He was a Veela. That is one of the main reasons he had joined the Dark Lord. He promised equal right for all dark creatures and their families.

Since the Dark Lord wasn't around at the moment, he had to keep his heritage a secret from everyone but family or close friends. There weren't many who knew, and that is how he wanted to keep it.

For Dark Creatures, they were something people thought badly about or thought they were 'dirty' the fact was that many purebloods have creature blood in them, but once people started acting out towards Creatures and taking away their rights, they went into hiding.

Some left the states, or went to a sanctuary just for witches and wizards with creature blood in them. Some families hid any evidence that they had creature blood in them, that is what the Malfoy family did.

No one knew about it, and no one would until it was a safe time to do so.

Taking a deep breath Lucius looked at another law they wanted to pass for creatures. Not wanting to think about the subject anymore, he pushed the papers to the side, and leaned back in his chair closing his eyes.

As he saw there and thought he knew that things would only get worse. He needed to figure out a way to change things. He needed a plan to make a better Wizarding world.

Thoughts went through his head a mile a minute but was interrupted by the floo going off, and a the head of his best friend, Severus Snape calling out to him.

"Lucius. I need you to come through. It is important." Severus said before his face was gone from the floo.

Lucius scowled, Severus was not one for much conversation, but he could have stayed in the floo longer to tell him what was so important. With a sigh he got up, sighting his clothes before going to the fireplace, "Severus Snape, Hogwarts."

Arriving in the room in a flash of green, Lucius was greeted with a worried Severus.

"Severus, what is so important you have me come over this late in the night." Lucius questioned, as he stepped out of the fireplace.

Severus sighed, "I wouldn't call you unless I didn't know what to do in this situation." His dark eyes glanced at his long time friend, "but...something happened and don't know how to deal with it..."

Lucius frowned as he made his way to sit down, "Lets sit and talk. I will help you as much as I can." He had a feeling something big happened for his friend to be this frazzled to not know what to do.

Sighing Severus sat down and pinched the bridge of his nose, "As you know I have monitors on my potion labs and store rooms..this way I know when someone is stealing from me."

The blond man nodded, he knew how paranoid he could be with his potions and ingredients.

"The alarms went off and I went to investigate...when I got there I smelt blood." He paused sawing worry flicker over Lucius face. He probably thought he killed someone now.

"When I got closer to smell it better...I went almost feral. All I could think about was that blood and making sure whoever got hurt was safe...that I needed to keep her safe...keep my mate safe." Severus went silent after this, as he saw an array of emotions on his friend's face.

"Mate? Are you positive?" Lucius breathed, stunned. He knew his friend never thought he wouldn't find his one, his mate. Now here he is saying that he did find her.

Severus nodded, "I am positive. I tasted her blood."

Silence went over the room until Severus talked again, "The problem is she is passed out in the other room right now and happens to be my student."

Lucius almost choked on air. This was a predicament. His student, there was some ways to get around that. There was nothing against Student teacher relationships as long as they were of age and had a contract written up between the two.

"I don't know what to do...I can't mate with my student. There will be an uproar...that and I have no clue if she would even accept a Vampire to be with her." Severus sighed, leaning back in his chair with a look of anguish on his face. He didn't know what to do.

Lucius gave the potions master a stern look, "There is actually not anything in the rule book for Hogwarts against Student Teacher relationships. I will make a contract so it will be legal if someone found out the two of you are in a relationship. I will have all the bases covered for you." He paused, before he smirked, "All you have to do is woo the woman that is your mate. Explain to her the situation...Narcissa could talk to the girl if she needs someone. She is going the through the same thing, your...mate is going through or will be going through."

Severus nodded, "Thank you. I apologize for waking you at such an hour."

Lucius huffed, "There is no need to make such an apology." He paused as he stood up, "Though I do need the girls name so I can make up the contract."

"Kagome Higurashi."

He nodded, and made his way to the floo, "I will make the contract as soon as I get home. I will send it to you when it is done...don't worry too much. SHe is yours...she will accept you. The two of you were made for each other...remember that." Green flames erupted in the fireplace as Lucius went back through the floo.

Severus looked at the fire as the green flames died out, before he went back to the bedside of where his mate was.. He hoped things would go in his favor. That this woman, would accept him.

He could only hope...and hope he did.
