I am like, incapable of writing a good one shot. Anyways this is a drabble. I had no clue where I was going with it, and like always, I am unhappy with the results, but I'm posting it anyways.

Disclaimer- I don't own Doctor Who or Danny Phantom.

Some days, Danny Fenton just needs someone to talk to. Someone who won't judge, and will listen to him as he talks. He didn't really have any people in his life like that. Well, except for his girlfriend of five years Sam Manson, but she was on vacation. So instead, the dark haired teen opted for a visit to the ghost zone. Somehow, he had found his way to Clockwork's tower.

He ended up telling Clockwork everything that had been on his chest. School, the quickly approaching day of Sam's departure for Uni, Dan, and anything else he could come up with, and the ghost listened attentively. He didn't know why but he ended his rant with, "I know it's a sensitive subject, but who were you before you died?" The older ghost smiled at the younger and the two of them ended up sitting down while Clockwork told his story.

"I was a thing of legends. A great and powerful race, a long time ago. Light years and light years away. The Time Lords we were called. Long forgotten by now. I lived on a planet called Gallifrey. It was beautiful, an orange sky, snow-capped mountains, and trees with silver leaves. The leaves reflected the morning sun so brilliantly, they made the forests look like they were on fire. One of the moons shined so brightly in could be seen in the daytime. Our main star was large, and a golden red; the other, rose from the south in the morning making the mountains look like they were glowing. Oh Daniel, I'd show you it if only it hadn't been destroyed."

"Destroyed?"

"There was a war. The Last Great Time War. Civilizations were destroyed, some races completely wiped out, my own included. The great Time Lords almost completely extinct."

"Almost?"

"There is one of us, who managed to survive. The Doctor. I spend so much time wondering how he obtained a TARDIS and escaped."

"TARDIS?"

"Time and relative dimensions in space. A machine that travels all across time and space."

"A few more questions Clockwork. Why can't you go back and stop the Time Lords from dying?"

"The event is time-locked. No one can go to Gallifrey ever again."

"Two more, now. If you were born on Gallifrey, how did you end up here?"

"The Observants thought it would be funny if they took the Time Lords and gave them a planet to watch over. Observing time, interfering when necessary, but other than that, just watching. Just like we were born to do."

"Last one. It isn't really a question, but I want to meet the Doctor." The clockwork-clad ghost smiled.

"They always do in the end." Clockwork held out his staff to Danny. "Take it. Once you get where you need to be, it'll return to me."

"What about Sam?"

"You'll get back to her." Danny grabbed the staff, and he was automatically transported to some place that looked like London. Upon further observation, he realized it was London. Clockworks staff was gone, so he knew he was supposed to be right here. Just as he thought that, a hand grabbed his.

"Run!" A girl said, accompanied by a man he knew was the Doctor, and run they did.

I probably won't continue this, unless I get demand. Then I might. So that's that I guess.
