Now to finally get into the romance. Ah I do love writing me some romance.

Chapter Five: How to Feel

It took two hours of navigating the fairly large town that resided on the moon for Levia and Sam to return to the dorms. Even with the tours Starscream had previously given to Levia, they still ended up lost on multiple occasions.

Opening the door to Levia's shared living space, they were instantly greeted by a tv absorbed Thundercracker, who barely looked their way when they entered. He only raised his hand and gave them a brief 'hey' before returning to his show. Malka, the traitor that she was, couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge them. She was too busy snoozing sprawled across the seekers lap.

The two humans gathered some snacks from the kitchen and joined Thundercracker in the living room. They weren't interested in the tv as he was and instead pulled out their binders filled with homework and spread it out.

"Hey, Thundercracker. Why don't you join our riveting homework fest." Sam spoke up. Thundercracker looked down at them, noticing the piles they had made of their work.

"I've already finished mine." He answered and returned his gaze to his show.

Sam's jaw dropped. "Seriously! All of it?" The boy knew the seeker would have the same amount as Levia as they shared all but one class. And Levia had a nice stack to her name.

Thundercracker smirked but didn't look at him. "All of it." He replied, earning an awed gasp from Sam.

"Wow, you're like a homework god." Sam said, eyes sparkling in awe.

Levia snickered and Thundercracker rose an eyebrow ridge. "Well...I wouldn't say that." He muttered, slightly embarrassed by the young man's unwavering amazement. He scratched his cheek nervously.

"Come on Sam, let's get some work done tonight." Levia laughed, giving the boys arm a small slap. Sam nodded, a new determination sparkling in his eyes. He set himself to his work furiously, surprising Levia as he quickly completed a chunk of his work within the next hour.

By the time nine rolled around, Levia and Sam had completed a good portion of their work. Skywarp had eventually joined them but unlike Thundercracker, he was more than willing to join them in homework time. He admitted he wasn't nearly as good as TC and could use the help.

When they had decided enough was enough for one night, they packed up and put everything away. Sam helped Levia bring her new supplies into her room.

"I thought your room would be more cramped since you share it with a mech. But damn!" Sam said taking a glance around her large shared room. He placed her things on the floor next to her bed.

"Is it weird?"

"Is what weird?"

"You know, sharing a room with Starscream? I mean I know he's an alien robot and all, but he's still, you know, a guy." He asked.

At the mention of Starscream's name, Levia's heart skipped. She hadn't had the chance to sit and think about her feelings since art class earlier and the sudden reminder had her freezing in place.

"Hey Levia, you okay?" Sam inquired when Levia had yet to reply. He reached out and placed a hand on her shoulder, only for her to jerk in surprise.

"Yes, I'm fine." She quickly replied when her actions seemed to have alarmed Sam. He frowned, bringing his hand back. This was totally unlike his Levvi. She was never so jumpy. He watched her scurry around the room, placing things here and there, mumbling to herself. She would stop on occasion, seeming to zone off before resuming her task.

"Levvi..." Sam tried again. Levia stilled, before sighing and turning to her childhood friend. For a moment, she wanted to tell him. Tell him what the seeker made her feel. How nervous and jittery yet unexplainably happy she'd felt the past few days. There was no one she trusted more than Sam. The boy would go to battle for her honor if he thought he needed to.

"It's nothing Sam, really. I'm actually just feeling homesick." She said, Hoping to diverge his worry onto another, safer topic. It worked and Sam quickly wrapped her up into one of his giant bear hugs. She didn't think for a moment that he'd forgotten that she'd avoided his question, but she was glad he let it go for now.

"Oh Levvi, me too. I miss mom and dad and Mojo. But this is going to be good for us. Not too many people will be able to put on their resume that they attended school on the freakin moon."

Levia nodded and Sam pulled away to look her in the eyes seriously.

"Look, any trouble happens with this Screamer dude, or any of them mechs here for that matter, you let me know." He said, hinting at his previous questions but not delving into it. He wasn't the type to pressure for information but he let her know he'd be there if she needed it. She could come to him on her own terms.

"Thanks Sammy." She said and gave him a small smile.

He returned the smile with a beaming one of his own.

After Sam had left, Levia decided she would take a shower and make some dinner before settling in for more homework time. She quickly washed away the grime of the day, relishing in the warm water for moment. After finishing her shower and putting on a clean nightgown she headed to the kitchen.

When she exited the bedroom she had expected Thundercracker to still be glued to the tv and Skywarp to be with him. Neither seeker was there and neither was Malka. Instead Starscream sat quietly at the island counter in the kitchen nursing a glass of pink liquid. Papers and datapads were scattered in front of him and he clicked a pen to one of the screens.

One foot hit the living room carpet and a twitch of one of his white wings let her know he knew of her presence. She preceded into the kitchen, giving Starscream a nervous hello. She really hoped he didn't notice the slight quiver in her voice. Because she did.

Starscream optics where suddenly focused on her, glass pressed to his dark gray lips as he watched her over its rim. He slowly drank a small portion and Levia tried hard not to pay attention to the way his neck cables moved with each swallow.

She abruptly turned away and rummaged through the kitchen for something to make. She decided on some mac n cheese and buffalo chicken strips.

The whole time Levia prepared her food she couldn't shake the feeling that Starscream was still intently staring at her. She hadn't turned back to him yet but she was acutely aware of her present state of dress. A thin pink satin camisole nightgown with black lace trim that went down to the middle of her thigh. Her hair was bound up in a messy bun leaving her shoulders and upper back exposed. It hadn't bothered her when she wore it before, they were different species and Starscream could probably care less about her coverings. But with her current hurricane emotions regarding the seeker, she found she felt very exposed to him. It was a feeling she was unaccustomed to.

Her heart hammered in her chest and she swore it was going to burst any second the longer she stood there. She stared resolutely at the stove as the noodles for her macaroni cooked and all the while she could still feel his gaze on her. What was so interesting that he continued to stare?

It boggled Starscream that he couldn't keep his optics from the human femme in front of him. No one had garnered such rapt attention from the seeker in a long time.

Levia moved around the kitchen with ease but it didn't escape his notice that she refused to turn in his direction. His sensitive audios could pick up the rapid beat of her little heart. Her body temperature rising higher than normal and a red flush was present on what he could see of her face, ears and neck. Was she perhaps affected by him? Was she...attracted to him? The thought stirred something not wholly unwanted within him.

He wondered if she knew how revealing her clothing was. He was well versed in human customs and though they were different species he knew such garments would be seen as provocative to the opposite sex. He was loath to admit but it had its desired effect on him despite how unintentional is was. He could feel his plating warm and circuits buzz. His wings lowered and he continued to unabashedly stare, optics tracing every detail as she moved. The play of her flimsy gown against her curves played havoc with his thoughts and he recoiled when his mind supplied him with ideas on how to remove it. Preferably ripping it away.

Levia finally finished with cooking and with what seemed like great hesitance she made her way over to his side.

"Mind if I sit with you?" She asked and her desire of his company for some reason pleased him. He gestured to the seat next to him.

"I'd be honored to have the company of such a lovely femme." He purred and she looked at him wide-eyed. She reminded him of a deer, caught in the presence of a predator and wondering whether she could make a run for it. If she thought she could run from him, she was sorely mistaken.

Before she could decide on such an action, Starscream smiled devilishly. He reached for her plate of food and took it from her, placing it on the counter he sat at. Next he gently took her hands in his. He didn't miss the flinch when their hands made contact but she didn't pull away as she had done times before. Instead she gazed inquisitively at her hands wrapped in his and then back at him. It amazed him how tiny hers were compared to his, how gentle he had to be least he hurt her. Humans were so fragile.

He pulled her to the counter seat and guided her to sit. She did so, still looking between him and their hands. Trying to make sense of the situation he was sure. He would like to know what he was doing as well but his actions seemed to be following their own rules today.

Reluctantly he released her hands.

"How was your day Levia, it went well I hope?" He decided a simple conversation was safe enough for now. By the look of relief on her face he knew he had made the right action. He watched her fidget with her utensils before looking up at him.

"I-it was good actually. I had most of my classes with TC so I had someone to guide me through the horrid first day." She said.

"That's good. You surprised me though."

Levia looked up from scooping a spoonful of macaroni into her mouth. "I did. How?"

"Well, I certainly didn't expect to see you in my class. Art and music students don't tend to stray into the science departments." Starscream said it so slyly, narrowing amused crimson optics in her direction. Levia froze, not daring to look at him. She swallowed her food slowly and laid her spoon on the plate. Her nervousness was palpable. He could almost taste it.

"Um, I became interested when you told me what class you taught. I wanted to see how you teach so I decided to take one of your classes."

Starscream chuckled. "And tell me, did I meet your expectations?" He purred, head tilting just slightly. He dared to lean in close to her. Not enough to touch but enough that his vents ghosted warm air across her flushed face. Her mouth parted slightly in her surprise to his proximity and she leaned back slightly. Her hand reached out to grab the counter and steady herself. He could see goosebumps rise on her flesh and hear her heart hammer away behind her breast. It was delightful.

"Y-you were really good actually. You're very thorough in your teaching and it was easy to follow along and understand." She finally said her voice wavering. Starscream hummed softly, hooded optics watching as one of her nightgowns straps slipped down her arm. Slowly he lifted his hand to her shoulder, a blue finger hooking onto the thin strap. Levia's gaze darted to his hand, sudden alarm in her eyes. His gaze softened when he realized what she thought he meant to do but instead he lifted the strap to sit back on its place on her shoulder.

His finger brushed the soft skin on her shoulder and he delighted when a shiver ran through her body. "I'm very glad I pleased you." he murmured.

Levia's mouth opened, wanting to speak but finding the words stuck on her tongue. She felt the shiver course through her body when Starscream's hand brushed her skin. The sound of a powerful jet engine rumbled gently, reminding her of a continuous purr. It was coming from the seeker.

She reached up, grabbing his hand with her own. At first she had planned to remove it from her person, but when her hand grasped his, she could feel the soft warm metal radiate through her skin and she no longer wanted it gone. Both she and Starscream looked at their touching hands, small tan covering blue. Starscream was the only one to act in any positive form. His smirk was devious and promised things she wasn't sure she was ready for.

Finally gathering her bearings, she removed the warm appendage. She was hesitant to let go, but when she did, she felt she could finally breath a little as Starscream backed away.

Without anymore glances as the seeker, Levia finished her food. It wasn't quiet through her meal though; Starscream was more then happy to fill the silence with talk. Mostly it was about his students and how one particular group lived to make his life difficult and he swore he was going to give them as much homework as was humanly possible. She noticed he spoke as if he was entertaining a crowd. Lavish hand gestures and different pitches to his voice depending on what he talked about. Some where so high pitched he almost sounded feminine.

She thought him...adorable.

She found herself laughing and had she bothered to look at the seeker, Levia would see a pleased smile on his face.

"Thank you Starscream, for talking with me as I ate." Levia said as she cleaned and placed her dishes away.

"Of course. Now, you should hurry off to bed, you have quite the early morning and Thundercracker gets most unbearable when late." Starscream said. Levia went to reply, but she was cut off when Starscream grabbed her gently by the wrist, pulling her almost flush against himself. She could feel her whole body warm as his head leaned down to her. For a moment, she thought he would kiss her, but he only placed his forehead to hers.

She was frozen. No one had ever initiated so much physical contact with her except Sam. But in one night, Levia was finding she didn't all that mind Starscream's touch. It did set her heart fluttering and her stomach twisting but it didn't bother her. Not like she thought it would, like it should have.

All too soon the moment broke and Starscream smirked, optics opening slightly and highlighting dark grey faceplates.

"Sweet dreams Levia dear." He whispered and he lightly pushed her away from himself. He was already buried into his work by the time she righted herself, making it seem as if he hadn't just head-bumped her affectionately.

Levia quickly retreated to the bedroom, face much to hot for her liking and a not so unwelcome stirring in her heart.

Starscream is basically a giant flirt. He doesn't pussyfoot around. And that's how he'll be for awhile till Levia finally realizes what he wants from her.

And yes, Thundercracker in my head is basically a dog whisperer. No ones dog is safe from him. He will have them all.
