"Ciaossu, I'm Reborn, and I will be briefing you about your classifications."
"You might wonder why you're put into these groups," Reborn started. "Well, these groups will be your permanent groups in your stay in Italy. You'll be sticking into this grouping until the end of the trip to Italy. I suggest that you build a strong relationship with your group mates because you'll spend a lot of time with each other."
The room exploded into whispers and murmurs. The class had mixed feelings. Some were happy with their grouping, and some weren't that happy. Contrary to popular belief, class 3-A wasn't exactly the perfect class.
"Silence," Reborn commanded with a slightly threatening tone. Even though the tone he used was nothing compared to the tone he uses to threaten enemies, the class felt silent. Most of them weren't used to feel much fear just from hearing a word, so they followed the ex-arcobaleno's order.
Just as the class fell into silence, Tsuna felt a strong killing intent. On addition to that, his ears picked up the sound of destruction from the wall right beside him and his guardians. It seemed that his guardian picked up on the signs as well because the eight of them moved a little bit to the right just before the wall in question exploded into tiny little bits.
'Of all the people… why the Varia? Why did it have to be the Varia!?
The Varia stood at the rubbish they've created in all their glory. They were almost complete. The only one missing was Xanxus. Heck, even Fran was there. Tsuna was glad that the assassination squad's boss wasn't there. If he was, there would be a chaotic day.
"VOOOOOOOOOIIIIIII! LET'S GET THIS SHIT OVER WITH!" Squalo shouted. Some of the students flinched with the loud voice of the captain.
"Students, these people will be your tutors for the five months that you're here," Reborn said. One can tell that most of the students were skeptical about then hitman's statement. I mean, they looked crazy! How would a group of crazy people educate them for five months!?
'O kami, why? Tsuna thought, placing his hand on his forehead.
At the end of Reborn's briefing, each group was paired with the Varia member with their flame attribute. Fran was assigned to the cloud group because of Varia's lack of cloud guardian. Each of the groups along with their respective instructo left the room to their respective "classrooms" which is just actually some of the many training rooms in the Vongola mansion. That left Tsuna and his guardians and Reborn in the room.
"Reborn, why are you doing this?" Tsuna asked his tutor in the calmest way he can muster.
"Why Tsuna, I thought that it was obvious," the hitman smirked, amused by the reaction he was getting from his student. "This is part of your training to become an exceptional boss." Reborn started to walk away.
"Reborn, wait!" Tsuna called, and to his surprise, his tutor stopped in his tracks and turned to look at the young mafia don. "What am I supposed to do?"
Reborn smirked once more. "You decide what to do. After all you're the boss," Reborn said. With that, the hitman left through one of the holes in the wall.
Tsuna watched the hitman leave. He took a deep breath to calm himself down.
"Okay, we've got to make sure that the Varia doesn't do anything to hurt the students. Physically or mentally," Tsuna said. "Each one of us will assist or watch each group. Just keep an eye to the group that has the same flame attribute as you do. That means Takeshi with Squalo, Hayato with Belphegor, Mukuro with Mammon, Ryohei withn Lussuria, Lambo with Levi, and Chrome can go with Fran."
Tsuna paused as his guardians nodded in confirmation. Tsuna really didn't want his guardians to "look after" the Varia, but it must be done. If he didn't do this, a lot of damage is going to happen. Both in the building, and with the students.
"As for Hibari, I have a task specially for you," Tsuna said. Tsuna then faced his guardians. "I don't know if you've been informed, but a mafia famiglia had declared war on the Vongola. It's the Fiore Famiglia, the strongest mafia family in France. It's nothing the Vongola can't handle, but with civilians in the main HQ, there are much more risk involved. These assignments are also for the safety of the students in the event there is an attack. Hibari, inform all the branches of Vongola that war is brewing, and set up a meeting with Dino, Xanxus, Byakuran, Yuni, and Enma. Maybe even my father if he's finished with his vacation with kaa-san. If you can't get a hold of him, a high ranking CEDEF official will do. Now go to your assignments." Tsuna said in his most authoritative voice. His guardians nodded and left the room one by one. Tsuna left the room last. Well, it's time for his beloved paperwork.
The storm group was whisked off to training room 16H. The room was quite big, so most of the room was left unoccupied. Even though the storm group was the biggest group out of all the groups, the room was too big for the nine of them. The room looked like it could accommodate about 200 people.
Bel led the group to the middle of the room. Bel then turned to the students with a grin that the students concluded as a grin that a predator would give its prey.
"Shishishi~" Bel laughed. "Shall we start?" One could practically hear the students' heart beat faster at the tone the storm user used.
"Lesson number one," Bel drawled, reaching for something in his pocket. "Dodging."
By the time Gokudera entered the room, most of the students had cuts all over their body, some were out of breath, while others just lay unconscious on the floor. When Gokudera saw the stat the students were in, he glared at the self-proclaimed prince.
"What the fuck did you do?" Gokudera asked as calmly as he can, which unsurprisingly much of a change.
"Why you said that I should teach the students, so I gave them a lesson," Bel said matter-of-factly. "A dodging lesson that is."
Gokudera facepalmed. "For a genius, you can really be an idiot," he muttered.
"I heard that!"
When Yamamoto arrived to where the Rain group was, (Room 8M if you were wondering) it was a different sight from the storm group. One, the students weren't injured. Two, Squalo was actually teaching the students what the students normal lessons. The only problem was that the students were probably deaf due to Squalo's voice, and they've probably learnt a lifetime's worth of curse word in all twelve languages that Squalo's proficient in.
When Yamamoto entered the room, Squalo was in the middle of a stream of curses because a student couldn't pronounce the word "pencil" correctly in English.
"Haha…" Yamamoto laughed uneasily. "Did I come at the wrong time?"
When Lambo left the room, he was immediately spotted by a certain Chinese assassin. Lambo frowned. He felt that I-Pin was following him everywhere. Well, either that or it was just a coincidence.
"Oi Lambo, where are you going?" the girl asked Lambo in Italian. Most people knew the girl to be polite and nice, but when it comes to Lambo, the Chinese assassin just shed her niceness and acted like a normal preteen. Lambo liked to think that it was because of his awesomeness.
"I don't need to tell you where I'm going," Lambo said.
"Whatever, I'll just follow you," I-Pin said. Staying true to her word, I-Pin did follow Lambo, much to the latter's annoyance.
When Lambo and I-Pin arrived at the room the Lightning Group was in, what they saw left them facepalming. It was in chaos. Not the same kind of chaos in the storm group but stupid chaos.
The students were having a shouting match with the Varia's lightning guardian, and despite being alone, Levi didn't seem to be losing.
What were they shouting about, you may ask? Steaks. Yup, you heard me right. They were fighting about what's the best way to cook and serve steak.
"No! Boss likes his steak well done so it's the best way to cook steak!" Leviathan shouted. Multiple voices shouted back to reply.
"What the hell are you talking about? Well done steak is basically burnt steak!"
"Yeah! Medium rare is the only way steak should be served!"
"And what does your boss know?"
I-Pin looked blankly at the scene in front of her. "Did I misunderstand their Japanese, or are they really shouting about steak?" she asked, more to herself than to Lambo.
Lambo shrugged. "Humans are weird."
Look, I know this came in late, and I know this is waayyy too short, but stuffs been happening in my life, (by stuff I mean school) and it completely took up the time I'm supposed to be using for writing. So please bear with me.
But hey, at least it wasn't a one year gap between the chapters this time, right?
Haha~
Okay I'll stop talking now.
