A/N: Finally got to updating again, I've been waiting for the inspiration, and I hope you guys like this! If so, please let me know and review. xoxo

"Lydia Bob Scott, where are you? You've got me worried sick! Call me back, now!"

Lydia's voice-mail was packed with similar messages, all from one crazy mother, who didn't seem to understand that an eighteen year old didn't need an excuse not to come home after a party. Even though she actually was home, this seemed to have become home, overnight. After listening to way too many of those messages, and giving up on it, she decided it was time to call Haley back. It was 1 pm and well, since she woke up at eleven, Lydia had been laying in bed with the love of her life, just looking at that amazing apartment, which was hers.. and his, together. It was nice, forgetting about the drama, and it had seemed easy that morning.

"Lydia, thank god. I thought you were at Brooke's, but I called her and she said she hadn't seen you or Davis since the party," Haley was basically spitting out words, like she had been waiting to say them for hours. She got reminded of something she didn't want to think of - Davis. She wondered where he had gone, if not home. She felt absolutely terrible. She loved Davis, but there had never been the same spark she had with Logan, and she wished she could take it all back, hurting Davis had never been her intention.

"It's okay mom, I'm in the apartment," she said, smiling as she said that last word. It sounded wonderful, as if it wasn't real. None of this seemed real, it was too good to be true, when she didn't think of the consequences.

"What apartment, you don't have an apartment.. Wait? You .. Did you get an apartment for your birthday. Who could be stupid enough to buy you an apartment, not Davis right?" Haley was obviously thinking too fast, Davis wasn't even eighteen yet and couldn't possibly have bought an apartment.

"Davis and I broke up last night.. I don't want to talk about it, but maybe.. You should tell Brooke to try and find him, or Jude. He would pick up if Jude called," Lydia barely knew what to say, she was overthrown with guilt, and it was as if the man next to her could see it in her eyes, as the took her hand in that moment.

"What!? On your birthday? Would you just come home now, Lydia, so we can talk about this?" The poor woman was taking in way too much information right now, but Haley could take it. In all honesty, Lydia could only wish to be half as strong as her mother was, one day.

"This is home now, mom. We will come over later and get some things, and clean up after the party," Lydia said, this time overthrown with nerves, wondering how her parents, everyone would react this time, as Logan was back, as they were back together. Last time had been a disaster, but this time, it didn't seem like their opinions were as important. She was eighteen now, and they didn't have much to say about it.

"Okay... We? Lydia, what happened last night? Who got you an apartment? Please don't tell me it's.."

Lydia cut her off quickly, not even wanting to hear her mother's complaining and blaming.

"It's Logan mom, he's back. I'll see you at Tric in a bit, okay?" There was no other way to tell her mother, it was impossible to put it in a 'nice' way. Haley got quiet, it was her go-to-thing. The moments when her mother didn't have anything to say were very rare, but it happened, and it was kind of scary actually.

"Bye mom," Lydia said, hanging up before she got a chance to object. This was going to be a long day, an impossible day. But what Logan had said yesterday kept her strong, hopeful. They were going to fight now, for each other. No matter what the rest of the town thought.

"So.. I've signed us up for a family-meeting/cleaning at Tric, sounds like fun, doesn't it?" she said, smiling, as she turned to look at the most gorgeous sight in the world.

"Oh yes, I'm sure everyone is going to be thrilled that I'm back, especially your dad, and mine, and Jamie. This is going to be great!" he said, sarcastically, probably dreading the day.

"We should probably get in the shower," Lydia said, grinning, before kissing him and getting out of bed after over two hours of just pure happiness, ready to face reality.

An hour later, the odd pair was on their way to the club, and although yesterday seemed so far away, Lydia had a huge mess to clean up, both literally and well, an emotional one as well. However, she was sure that doing this now was the best option. Just like Logan had told her last night, she was done running. They weren't going to run from these problems, these people, anymore. There was no use in keeping it secret, it would just create more opposition.
It was quite obvious that they would all be there, Haley was known for spreading news extremely quickly. The mix would have been fairly normal a couple of years ago, but seeing them all gathered was strange now. Jamie was barely ever home, and well, Logan hadn't been seen for the last couple of months. As for the four parents, they always seemed to stick together, even though there had been some expected tension between Clay and Nathan since Logan left.

Lydia didn't know what to expect from this, it felt like they were going to interrogate her, she felt like an outsider, in her own family, even though she most probably had always been quite different from the rest of them. It felt better as he took her hand, he was probably as terrified as her as they entered Tric, all of them just standing there, waiting for them. Lydia was only glad the rest of her mother's huge family wasn't there, in which case the situation would have been even more awkward.

Breaking the silence, or well, the stillness, was Quinn, walking over immediately to throw her arms around Logan. It seemed like he actually hadn't seemed them either since he left. It made Lydia feel even more guilty, if possible, that he had been alone all this time, not even seeing his parents.

"Should we maybe get to cleaning then?" Lydia said, in a desperate try to take the attention away from herself. And suddenly, as if they had all been waiting for someone to break the silence, they all spoke at the same time, expressing all kinds of feelings.

"This is unreal," , "What is going on?", "What is this about an apartment?!", "Lydia, you are coming home with us right now,".

It was Logan, who finally made them all shut up. In that moment, he was her hero. The noise was worse than the silence, building up on a horrible headache.

"Hey! You don't have to like this. It doesn't really matter. If you care about Lydia, and me, you will learn to live with it,"
He was interrupted, of course her cranky dad would find some mean comment to throw out as everyone quietly listened to his speech.

"I couldn't care less about you," It was more of a mumble really, but Lydia could hear it, and obviously Logan did too, as he stopped speaking.

"Dad!" Lydia exclaimed, suddenly regretting coming there, telling them.

"That doesn't matter either. I'm pretty sure we want the same thing, to see Lydia happy, and that's not going to happen when you're judging her." Logan continued, sounding quite adult actually, as oppose to his normal childish self.

"Lydia was happy before you came back, you should've just stayed where ever you went," Nathan went on, this time it was Clay who opposed. Although he hadn't said much that afternoon, it actually seemed like he had missed his son.

"That's enough Nathan, we're all glad you're back, Logan. It's just.. I wish you would've come to us first, you were always so impulsive," He went quiet again. Lydia actually felt bad for Clay, having to deal with Nathans arguments all the time, especially now, when it was all on her.

"I think.. You guys should go home, we've got this. It was my party, I'll clean up here, and we'll talk to you guys later," Lydia was tired of the drama, tired of most things actually, which was kind of weird after the most perfect morning.

"I'll stay and help," Jamie volunteered, which wasn't too surprising. He was always trying to help. But to Lydia's surprise, the other four actually left without any huge objections, and the club went awfully quiet again. Lydia wondered if they were ever going to enjoy a drama-free time with their parents ever again.
