Chapter 7 : Its Over

" Get down ! " screamed Greg as he and Spike quickly dodged the green lasers from behind them and immediately took cover behind the wooden crates . Spike quickly opened fired at the tunnel providing covering fire and allowing the kids to rush towards the main exit .

" Go ! Get to the exit !" yelled Greg at the kids as he returned fire from his pistol , gunfire echoed the warehouse .

" Dude , the doors locked ! " yelled Cam shaking the door handle then Brandy and Holger tried to kick it . " Greg " yelled Spike " I am out ammo ! " and suddenly a green bolt hit Spike in the chest turning him into a green ice cube .

" Spike ! No ! " yelled Greg rushing to Spike's aid but it was too late , the technician was crystallized in green ice . The last officer standing was Greg himself .

He gasped to see robots in Hamzt suits appearing everywhere , some were on the catwalk and other robots emerged from their hiding places . They aimed their ice guns at the SRU officer and the kids , Greg slowly back off dropping his gun before raising his hands up .

Cam . Hogler , Tina Brandy and Greta were forced to knee down on the ground with their hands on their heads as 20 robots moved in to secure the captives . A insane laughter was heard in the warehouse , then Greg recognized that laughter .

" Lynch ." Muttered Greg as he slowly got down on his knees.

" Well ! Well ! Isn't Greg Parker of the Strategic Respond Unit . That a bummer to see your little pets get covered in ice ." Lynch laughed as he patted the ice gun in his hands . His goof eyes turned to nervous looking Tina hiding behind Greg .

" Say Lee's girl looks kind of bored . I got it and lets have some fun with her . " said Lynch evilly but he was stopped by Greg . His eyes narrow close at Lynch and Greg wouldn't let that crazy lunatic lay a finger on her .

" No . You got to get through me . But I can't let you do that . " said Greg seriously raising his hands up but his refusal in handing over Tina to the crazy kid kind off pissed Lynch off .

" I can do whatever I like . Who going to stop me ." taunted Lynch raising the ice blaster at Greg's face .

" Greg are you there ! Greg ." yelled Sam in his headpiece as he drove the SUV towards the gate entrance of the warehouse along with a squad of five police cruisers . The SUV quickly pulled up at an parked SUV with the trunk open . " He's not answering . " said Jule angrily ." I got a bad feeling about this place and this is where Lynch is keeping the kids ."

" I want a perimeter set up and I need a couple officers to guard the back , Sam , Jules , Lou we going to the front " ordered Ed to his fellow officers.

The officers quickly exited the vehicle and they hurried to the parked SUV , Ed and Sam saw a few compartments open and the trunk was open .

One word entered his head then Ed muttered the word " Lee .", Ed turned to Sam " We got a problem. "

Lee placed the sniper rifle on the broken window's ledge , he knew Lynch was down there holding his friends hostage along with three police officers . He was prepared for this and Lynch was going down with the biggest fight of his life . He peeked into the scope and the crosshairs shows a small group of robots forcing Greg and Tina to sit in a chair and tied both theirs hands up . His friends were placed in an long truck container by Lynch himself along with the two crystallized SRU officers

Lee put a handgun behind his back and reload the SMG then ready the sniper rifle . He heard voices echoing from his hiding places in a abandon office tower inside the warehouse . Lynch didn't know Lee tracked him down to his hideout which give Lee the advantage against Lynch and his small army of robots .

He could see Lynch and his small army at the far end of the largest warehouse across from the office

Six rounds , I got to make these count . thought Lee putting another sniper round into the gun . This was his first time shooting a gun.

He took a deep breath and pull out a smoke grenade from his pocket and he was about to pull the pin . He heard a gunshot and the shot froze Lee and his nerves . He grabbed the rifle and peeked into the scope's crosshair as he placed his finger on the trigger .

" So Greg Parker , you and me will play something punch monkey kite and some knock knock jokes . " laughed Lynch and he walked around Greg who was tried to his waist and his legs with duct tape . Greg was stripped from his bulletproof vest and his handgun was taken by Lynch.

Greg signed " Lynch , there is no game and you did this to play with Lee I get it . But ,You need help . " said Greg " We can get you some help . You don't have to do this just listen to me "

" HA HA HA ! Very funny old man , we didn't begin our game yeah . You not playing are you ? fine ! Then I will have to disqualify you . " yelled Lynch angrily then he pull out a handgun which he took from Greg and pull the trigger .

" Don't - " it was too late .

The gun went off and the bullet hit Greg in the stomach , Greg felt something struck him so hard and fast and his mind went blank as pain takes him away . Greg gasped in pain and clutched his teeth holding back the pain in his guts as he collapsed to the ground . Tina screamed in horror at Greg's wound as blood pouring out from his uniform .

" Come on team , the back doors is blocked , we running out of options , we neither on in with force entry or stealthy. We going in . " said Ed to his team as they rushed towards the entrance of the warehouse .

Suddenly they all heard a gunshot from the warehouse . " Oh my god . " gasped Jules waiting for her team's reaction . " Shot fired ! Repeat Shots fired ! " yelled Sam to his headphones " Get me EMS now Winne ! "

" That better not be Greg or the others . " murmured Ed fearfully " Come one let go ! " , the rest of Ed's team beginning to run . Ed was going into a panic and thoughts flood his mind ; what if Greg's been shot , no someone already been shot .

This is bad , I hope it doesn't end this way . though Ed as he gave his team a nervous look .

" You kill him ! " screamed Tina angrily rocking her chair as she wrested against the duct tape behind her hands . " You kill him ! You monster ! " Lynch laughed sickly and he had shown no remorse for what he had done to Greg .

" Hey you ! Knock Knock ! " yelled a voice echoing across the warehouse

A robot beside him turned around and suddenly it's head exploded to bits of hardware and wires as a gunshot rang out from no where . Then six more HAMZAT robots were gunned down by a hidden sole sniper . A sliver cylinder flew through in the air exposing a white mist of thick smoke creating a smoke screen . Several Robots buzz each other to check out the smoke screen then they entered the smoke screen. Loud gunshots rang out.

The Hamzat robots around Lynch swirled around in confusion looking for the enemy since their sensors aren't designed for combat situations . Suddenly all hell breaks looses as more gunshots were fired , Lynch watch with horror as his small army of robots were all shot down one by one.

Tina gasped with shock as gunfire echoed around her and she shake and twisted harder from her bonds . She closed her eyes tightly as gunfire echoed loudly .

She was finally free from her bonds and rushed to Greg's aid while Lynch was distracted . " Greg ? Are you okay ? " she whispered as she placed her hand over Greg's wound .

" I am fine Tina , I got hit plenty bad I don't think I can make it ." groaned Greg " Go . Get out of here and...that..your chance..."

Tina shook her head as her hands covered with blood as she attempted to put pressure on his wound but it was only making him feel even worse . " I am not going to leave you behind . "

Greg didn't answer and he's eyes slowly closed as his hand went limped . Tina placed her hand over her mouth and her fist clutched with anger .

" SRU ! Police ! " cried a heavily voice echoed behind her . Tina turned to see a bold man in a police SWAT uniform along with three officers of the SRU rushing towards her . All of them were wielding handguns or SMGs in their hands .

" Greg ! " yelled the bold man rushing to Greg side before regain control " My names is Ed Lance , we are from the SRU . Can you tell us your name "

" I am Tina ."

" HELP him ! He hurt . Can you help him ! " cried Tina at the officers , lucky they brought two paramedics with them . " Oh god Greg . " gasped Jules rushing to Greg and Tina's aid and place her finger to Greg's neck checking for a pulse.

" He breathing , Oh god . He losing a lot blood . " cried Jules before turning to Tina " My name is Jules from the SRU , I am going to get you out of here . " The medic rushed into to stable Greg's condition .

" Who shot Greg ! " demanded Ed angrily . " Was it Lee ? "

" No ! " cried Tina " It was some kid with a gun ! You have to stop him but he went that way . There is people in there . Get them out " pointing her finger to the other hallway of the warehouse then the containment box . " It okay Tina . You are safe ." said Jules hugging Tina softy .

" Sam and Lou you with me ! Jules secure the hostages . Lets end this ." ordered Ed as he took off running with Sam and lou with him .

"NO ! This isn't happen ! This is not part of the plan ! Darn it Lee you cheater ! " yelled Lynch waving his fist jumping up and down holding his gun as he was surround .

" I don't think so Lynch . It over. You hear me Game over ." said Lee appearing behind Lynch with his machine gun in his hand " You forgetting one thing ." hinted Lee

" What ? " gasped Lynch turning around in shock " Please don't shoot me ! " the crazy lunatic cried out raising his hands as Lee came closer with his gun.

" No but I am the one with the machine gun ." said Lee who was about to pull the trigger . His gun went click click . Suddenly it hit Lee , he was out of bullets and he tried to pull out his handgun from his back pocket . He tried to shot Lynch with his handgun but he found it empty again . " Uh oh . " murmured Lee " This is not a good sign. "

Lynch's coward expression faded into a happy grin then Lynch pulled his loaded gun from his pocket and aim it at Lee who slowly raised his hands up after he surrender his guns to Lynch .

" How dare you ! You really think you cheat in our game ." sneered Lynch but Lee replied " You the one who is ruining my whole life because of your stupid game I don't think so . I can play dirty if I have to ."

" Where's Tina ? " demanded Lee , his eyes narrowed deeply into Lynch's eyes . " About Tina , Yeah I be right back ." said Lynch as he took a few steps back from Lee before he got closer to his escape route.

Lynch took his chance by running into an open corner beside the shipment container but he ran into an unexpected surprise

"FREEZE ! POLICE ! "

Lynch gasped with shock and he turned to see a three man SWAT team wielding machine guns blocking his escape route . It was Ed , Jules , Sam and lou . " It over buddy ." said Sam " Drop the gun now ! "

" Put the gun down ! " yelled Ed " Lynch listen to me . I am going to consider that a deadly weapon . If you pull that gun up , things are going to change badly and we going get you some help ."

" Never ! " screamed Lynch refusing to surrender " Not until we finish our game . "but Ed frowned and he warned " This will not end well son but if you point that gun I will have to shoot you . " His teammates took cover behind the crates with their guns lock and load . The other officers aimed their guns at

" Never ! Before Lynch raised his gun at Ed's face , Lee came out of nowhere tracked Lynch to the ground causing the SRU officers to snapped into action ; Ed quickly lunged out and grabbed Lee by the shoulders and smash Lee against the floor avoiding hurting the Asian teen's face then Sam pinned Lynch down , grabbing his arms and cuff them with Lou aimed her pistol at Lynch's head .

" Ow ! my shoulders ! " cried Lynch struggling to get free from Sam's grip

" It over . Game over . " said Sam lending closer to Lynch's ear as he tight Lynch's cuff harder and Lou and Ed lead him and Lee away .

The abandon warehouse was now swarming with police cars and forensic units , the police managed to shut down the warehouse and set up a road block down the street . There were police officers everywhere , officers patrolling around the warehouse in and out as their eyes on the lookout for evidence to savage .

Lynch was placed into the police car and Greg was loaded into an ambulance but the medic successfully stabile his wound . The SRU rescued Tina , Cam , Hogler , Greta and Brandy along with Raf and Spike from Lynch's grip .

All them were at the ambulance treated for their injuries and everyone grateful to be rescued and Lee was given a chance to see his friends including his Girlfriend Tina. The rest of team-one gathered around Greg as he was preparing to be board to the ambulance .

Raf and Spike were decrystallized and were treated for shock but they were both shivering from the side effects from their crystal prison before taken to the hospital.

" Good team. you got everyone out great work team . I be fine and Ed ." said Greg softy to the remaining members of his team ; Ed , Sam , Jules and lou. " Take it easy on Lee for me . Will you ? " asked Greg as the paramedic loaded him into the hospital " The gunshot wound isn't that bad but don't worry I been fine ."

" Copy that boss ." said Sam with a cheerful simile on his face.

Ed came to the police cruiser with a policeman on guard . " I want to borrow Lynch for two minutes . It is okay ? "

The officer nodded and let Lynch out of the car then Ed grabbed Lynch by the neck , squeezing his neck and pinned him into the roof the cruiser.

" You ruined my game ! " yelled Lynch angrily at Ed but Ed punch Lynch in the stomach to shut him up .

" You listen up ." growled Ed angrily as he came closer to Lynch's face " If you lay a finger on Clark or anyone in my family . You are going to regret this but I am going to make you feel sorry for what you did to Greg . You going pay for it . You lucky you didn't kill him . "

Ed turned to officer . " Get him out of here ." then push frighten Lynch into car and he slam the door tight then returned to Lee who was embraced with his friends .

Tina was crying in Lee's shoulders as they both hugged each other as his friends watching as the medics were treating them. " What going to happen to you ? " asked Tina as she wipe tears off her eyes .

" I be fine trust me ." said Lee as Ed was about to escort Lee to the waiting police car . Lee smiled as Ed placed him into the police car . It was over , Lynch was in jail and he and his friends can heal .
