Hey guys!
Wow, how many years has it been? 5? 6? 7 years?
I really don't know what to say, time goes so fast, it's ridiculous. When I first started writing I was going for my higher studies and now after so many years, I'm almost done. I remember the last thing I posted said that new chapters were in the works and I would be posting soon. That did not go the way I wanted to and I let you guys down. Frankly, I'm disappointed in myself, writing was and still is my passion plus I certainly read fanfictions every day. I keep going back to my stories and read them to get a feel of my works.
This might upset some people but I don't see a good storyline for my story 'Chronicles of an Uzumaki and a Goddess'. It's too cliché and the trope has been overused to death. If you guys want, I will elaborate on it further in the next chapter that I'm going to post. But my other work, the 'Tale of an Unremarkable Shinobi' looks very promising. l have many good ideas which I plan to use in the story. The reason that I like this story so much is because it's so rare in Naruto fanfictions, which means there is space for original stuff and the influence of similar works is minimal.
I understand that my credibility at this point is zero and you guys have no reason to believe that I will resume posting chapters for 'Tale of an Unremarkable Shinobi' but hang tight.
I look back and see my younger self, who was filled to passion, stare back at me with sad eyes because of what I've done with myself and my gift. Now I want to do what I have always loved, writing, not for anyone but for myself.
You guys are amazing and I cannot express my appreciation in words. I thank you guys for appreciating my art and as some mad bomber would say, 'Art will never die… even if I already have' (I don't know how it fits into this context, sorry!)
Keep your eyes out!
Next chapters for 'Tale of an Unremarkable Shinobi' are one the way!
