Chapter 59: Broken Pride

The golden aura burst around Goku as he chased after the hooded man who was now rocketing off with his son underneath his right arm.

"Give him back! This fights between you and me!" Goku roared as his aura intensified and grew larger as rocketed forward in a renewed burst of speed.

At the corner of the young Sayian's eyes he could see his friends Krillin,Tien and Yamcha had also noticed that Gohan had been grabbed and where heading off to intercept the man, however their pursuit was cut off by the red headed boy who kept getting in the way and knocking them backwards, it wouldn't be long before they would get past the small boy however at the speed Goku was going he would have already caught up to the hooded man anyway.

The Sayian was mere inches away with his hand stretched out ready to clutch the man's ankle when the red aura of the Kaio-Ken was dispersed and replaced by a brilliant Golden glow as the hooded figure exploded away with renewed speed.

"Dam it!" Goku roared as he continued the chase as the world below him transformed from a sandy dessert, to the bright blue of the ocean and then the dark green of a forest in less than a minute.

Boom!

Bardock erupted out of the forest below an orange aura surrounded him as he flew up both fist held above his head as he crashed into the hooded figure, knocking the man of balance as the older Sayian manage to dislodge his young grandson out of the hooded man's grip.

"Gotcha!" Bardock yelled in triumph a grin on his face as he took off into the sky a grin upon his face. The Sayian had a vision when Goku had first took off to go after Friezia originally and although he had plan to follow his son into battle at first what he had seen showed that Goku would be chasing this mysterious stranger over this forest a perfect place to set a trap.

"Get Gohan out of here I got this" Goku yelled up confidently to his father a smile on his face as he turned to face the hooded man once more as a rush of excitement washed over the Sayian once more.

He was itching for this fight the chase over here had given him a glimpse of the mans strength however Goku contained his excitement for a moment and focused for any sign that the hooded man would go after Bardock or Gohan, however the hooded figure made no move to stop Bardocks retreat nor to attack Goku instead the red aura once again returned as the golden aura evaporated into nothing. Much to Goku disappointment.

"His anger is dangerous!" The hooded figure said in a deep husky voice.

Goku confused for a moment taken off guard at the fact his opponent had not only allowed Bardock to leave with his son but was now appearing to be lechering him about Gohan's angrier problems.

"What's it to you!" Goku snapped back while also maintaining his stance. "Now are you done holding back and we are going to fight seriously or what?"

"His anger has and will get people killed if he doesn't learn to control it! The sooner the better! Train him teach him how to fight! Teach him to be strong! He needs to be strong!" The hooded man continued ignoring Goku completely as he seemed to almost be begging the Sayian now pleading even.

"Is this some sort of trick!" Goku demanded slightly aggravated "I know you can turn super Sayian I have seen you use it multiple times and I don't know how you learnt the Kio ken technique but I know your holding back! Stop the games and fight me at full strength!"

"Sorry" The hooded man said in a surprisingly softer and kind voice the hoarseness of it seeming to have disappeared into nothing. The voice sounded awfully familiar to Goku somehow but deeper and older. "I wasn't meaning to insult you but trust me were I come from and in my condition.. trust me Kio ken is a lot easier for me to fight in than Super Sayian"

"What are you on about?" Goku said utterly confused. "What do you mean where you come from? And what condition?"

"You were never the brightest were you dad" The hooded man said with a light chuckle. "I think it would be easier to show you than to explain"

With that the hooded man reached up to the top off his clock and one swift motion pulled it off and flung it to the ground. The loud crash when the clothing hit the ground informed Goku that the clock had been weighted similar to the clothing that himself and Piccolo would wear to train in. It was impressive that not only had the man before him had manage to hold out against his Super Sayian form by just using Kai ken but was also doing so while being hampered by weights.

The Man before him wore an orange Gi much like Goku's own however the symbol on his back was not the symbol of King Kia that Goku had on his own uniform but that of the Son family name. The man was slightly taller than Goku and broader the sleeveless Gi he wore also revelled his huge muscular arms which where covered in scars which showed many years of battle. His hair black hair was shorter than his present counter part but what was more striking to Goku was the man's face a scar ran down the left side of his cheek however it was the man eyes that made the Sayian sick to his stomach.

Wear two onyx eyes would normally be staring back at him was merely melted flesh and scar tissue which seemed to have healed long ago.

"Your blind" Goku said dumbfounded

"That obvious huh!" Future Gohan replied with a small chuckle. "Dam and everyone was telling me it didn't look so bad I knew they were lying to me but what with being blind and all I couldn't prove them wrong!"

"Gohan?" Goku asked still not willing to drop his guard down suspicious that this was all a trick. "What's going on ? What happened to you?"

"I'll explain everything later" Future Gohan said with a sad smile upon his face. "It would be better if everyone is around to hear what I have today, plus I need to talk to mum as well I need to convince her to let younger me train with you. Its the only way!"

"I'm so confused!" Goku replied "If this is a trick its not funny!"

"Don't worry dad just focus on this one thing for now! You wanted to see my true strength i'm going to show it to you and I want you to remember just one thing! What is coming is far stronger than me!"

With that the Demi-Sayian drew his elbows into his hips as the red aura that had been surrounding him instantly flashed gold as the warrior from the future let out an almighty roar.

The shock waves of the power that exploded from Gohan knocked Goku back several feet as the Sayian had to lift up his arms to cover himself. The trees of the forest where ripped from their roots and tossed into the sky as large rocks and debris were tossed into the air as the ground below the two hero's of earth cracked and tore apart.

"Wh-what overwhelming power" Goku stammered in awe as his son from the future strength continued to rise and wash over him in it's warm glow. It was mesmerising intoxicating and the Sayian felt his fists clench automatically in anticipation as his heart rate increased dramatically as a rush of excitement flowed though his body.

Suddenly Gohan stopped his roars and his energy ceased to carry on rising much to Goku's disappointment the Sayian from Earth could tell their was still more depths to his sons power that could still be unlocked. However Gohan now stood before him with a guilty almost shameful expression on his face.

"I didn't relies where we got stopped" Gohan said turning his head as if to observe the forest which was now a waste land. "I couldn't see were I was going I thought we were over an ocean or something why didn't you stop me ?"

Goku blinked at the question a few times before replying simple.

"I didn't think about it I was just looking forward to seeing your full strength"

Future Gohan merely gave a short nod.

"Well it's too late now I can sense it all of the animals that lost their life because of me, I thought I had gotten control of my power but I guess I still have a lot to learn." Leaving his body wide open the man stood tall. "Give me your best shot"

Zip!

Goku flashed in front of Gohan and slammed a right handed jab right into the taller man stomach causing shockwaves of air to slash the remaining trees in the area to the man from the future didn't even budge let alone buckle from the blow.

"Come on you can do better than that!" Future Gohan said sternly as if he was talking to Goku as a student. "Try that again but this time don't leave your left side open."

Goku went to throw another punch but a blow quicker than what his mind could even register smashed into his left side throwing him backwards several meters before he could steady himself. His left side was burning in pain.

"I told you to not leave your side open I might be blind but your energy is a big give away. You always leave your left side open when you throw everything into your right and it's obvious. Trust me you need to change your style! What your going to face will know everything about you!"

Zip!

Goku appeared once again before future Gohan sending a left boot directly into the Demi Sayian's head which didn't even move from the force of the impact.

"Don't stop keep attacking!" Future Gohan roared in as the golden aura around him exploded violently tossing Goku back once again. "Their going to be relentless! their power is unimaginable! Their energy limitless! You must keep fighting you must keep you attacks up do not let up for a second!"

Future Gohan dropped his aura allowing Goku to come back in for the attack, The Sayian from Earth was relentless in his attacks punching and kicking. But yet the Demi-Sayian wouldn't budge at all becoming the very definition of an immovable object.

Retreating back Goku cupped his hands together drawing them to his sides as he began to channel his energy into a bright blue orb.

"Ka"

The man from the future made no attempt to move from the blast.

"Ma"

"HA!"

"MA!"
"HA!"

With a roar Goku launched the blue beam of energy towards his son.

With a simple flick of his wrist the man from the future knocked the attack harmlessly into the air were upon which it exploded harmlessly.

Zip!

Future Gohan appeared before Goku grabbing the Sayian by the back of his head before crashing it into the Earth below. Were upon which the Demi-Sayian released his grip allowing Goku to rise up to his feet blood was now trickling from the older Sayian's forehead from the force of the impact.

"Man your strong!" Goku said with a mixture of pride and admiration. "I can't believe how powerful you are..."

Goku was cut short when a sharp kick to his left knee knocked him off balance and caused him to crash to the floor.

"This is a fight!" Future Gohan said scolding his father his arms crossed over his chest. "Stop talking and focus on how you are going to beat me! How do you defeat someone who is stronger than you and has infinite energy in the tank!"

His left leg sore Goku got back to his feet.

"Hay"

As Goku opened his mouth to talk and before he could finish his sentence he felt a sweeping kick take his feet out from under him sending him crashing to the floor once more. Looking up he could see the disfigured face of his son "Looking" down on him with a stern demeaner.

"Stop talking! Your at a disadvantage! focus and then attack!".

~DBZ~

"Weak" Trunks roared as he stamped Vegeta's left hand into the dirt Causing the Sayian to scream out in pain.

"Pathetic!" The purple haired man roared again as he booted the prone man right in the stomach.

A sickening crunch and the coach splattering's of red blood indicated that several ribs of the Sayian had been broken because of that attack.

Vegeta was lying in a pool of his own blood gasping for air like a rabbit caught in a nose, wheezing in pain.

The King Of Sayian's had been tossed around like a rag doll and beaten like a dog all the while being taunted by his attacker.

At first the King had been angry enraged wanting to fight and tear the young man apart with his bare hands and yet as the attacks continued Vegeta began to feel the unfamiliar grips of despair and self doubt grow in his mind.

"How is this possible," Vegeta thought inwardly. "First Kakarott and now this boy have achieved the legendary transformation that is my birth right! how is it possible?! I was the greatest Sayian warrior in over a century the whole galaxy knew to fear my name! And yet two nobodys come out of no where and best me!"

A sickening crunch echoed around the landscape as Trunks booted Vegeta once again knocking him over so he was laying on his back facing him. Vegeta looked up into the boy green cold eyes and let out a soft chuckle.

"You can beat me all you want!" Vegeta spat with venom. "But you can't kill me no one can i'm immortal! even if you spend the rest of your life attacking me you will be dead before I am!"

The man with the sword stopped his attacks momentarily staring down at the man with his gold teal eyes before reaching for the hilt of his sword, before drawing the blade in one shift motion.

"Tell me have you ever questioned the true limitations of you immortality" Trunks said casually as he eyed the blade in his hand.

"Limitations !What limitations!" Vegeta chuckled softly. "I'm immortal I can't die what else is their to it!"

"You might not be able to die. But if I was to chop off one of your legs would it grow back?" The purple hair boy said menacingly as he placed the blade right under Vegeta's throat. "If I broke your spine would you be able to walk again! Something tells me you wouldn't! This immortality of yours it doesn't stop you from getting physically hurt dose it. Look at you none of your wounds have healed. have they?"

Sweat began to pour down Vegeta head and all across his body.

"No way your a fool I'm immortal no wound will ever cripple me!" Vegeta growled lifting his head up towards the blade cutting his own throat as he did so just to prove a point. "Y-YOU cant kill me" he gargled

Trunks immediately pulled the blade away from Vegeta's throat and with a swift flick sliced the little finger clean off the King Of Sayian's left hand.

Vegeta roared in pain as he twisted and rolled on the floor and much to the Sayian's dismay though his throat healed up the gap where his little finger used to be continued to bleed as a new fear began to grip the Sayian. The boy was right their was a limitation to what the wish on the dragon had granted him. He wasn't like the Namek, he could regenerate limbs and only the near fatal wound had healed up.

Fearful Vegeta began to claw and crawl away from his attacker trying to put as much distance between them as possible trying to escape.

Thud!

The hilt of Trunk's sword connected against the back Of Vegeta's head knocking him back against the hot dessert sand as he felt the Purple haired boys boot crunch against his back as the cold steel blade of the sword rested on his leg.

"My father was once like you." Trunk's said calmly keeping the Sayian king pinned to the ground as he spoke. "He was a proud man a warrior! He too thought he was unbeatable that he couldn't be stopped. Until one day he met a foe's he couldn't hope to beat... They toyed with him and left him for dead.. But he lived and since that they he has not wanted nothing more than to die! They broke his back they broke him they broke his pride. He couldn't fight anymore he was worthless not only to himself but to his family as well. He had to sit by and watch while others went out to battle. He could do nothing but sit their and existed. That is no life for a warrior it was no life for him! And that's the fact I'm going to seal you to!"

Vegeta listened to the man's words which resonated with him. What good was a Sayian if they couldn't fight! How could he surpass Kakarot if he couldn't fight! How could he live in this world if he was nothing more than a spectre in it that was no life for him. Tears began to slowly roll down Vegeta's face as he felt his doom approaching he felt more fear than he had felt in a long time not since he had his wish granted for Immortality had he felt so helpless.

"What are you crying!" Trunks chuckled "What a Pathetic little monkey you are Vegeta I bet daddy would be so disappointed in you! What a pathetic end to a pathetic life!"

Trunk's drew back his blade ready to swing.

The words of his tormentor swelled Vegeta's head borrowing into his mind.

"Pathetic monkey! No this can't be the end! I wont allow it! I Won't cry like some infant in it's pod! I won't be beaten with my face against the floor! I won't let this brat cripple me without even laying a scratch on him! I WON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO ME!"

"GRRRAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

Vegeta roared as his dark purple aura burst around him.

Trunk's removed his boot from the King of Sayian's back and took a quick second to whip away the tears from his own eyes as he allowed himself a quick sigh of relief. His mission had been incredible taxing on the young man.

"Come on Dad! Just like in my timeline with Friezia!" The man from the future thought to himself. "Don't let me push you around and insult you fight back come on you can do it transform"

"Graaahhhhhh!" Vegeta roared standing to his feet clutching his head in his hands as Trunks jumped back the young Demi -Sayian transforming into a super sayian as he did so.

"Come on just one more push" Trunks thought to himself.

"I see you got some fight left in you little man! Maybe your daddy would be proud though lets face it he was too busy licking Friezia boot and don't even get me started on your mother.. "

"Shut up!" Vegeta growled as electricity began to crackle into life around the Sayian king. "You shut your god dam mouth you piece of trash!"

The Sayian king roared as his black hair flashed gold momentarily before turning back to his normal colour once more.

Trunks smiled slicing the air with his sword.

"Big talk for such a little man! You had a third class clown replace you and his son! Tell me Vegeta what's it like to be the second weakest Sayian on the planet! What's it like to have no pride what's it like to be pathetic"

"Graaahhhhhhh!" Vegeta snarled his hair flashing between black and gold as his power continued to grow. "You might be able to break my body! You might be able to beat me in a fight! But you will never take away MY PRIDE!"

With an almighty roar the King of Sayian's hair erupted into a golden flame as he charged.

Smiling Trunk's dropped his sword and caught the incoming fist with an open palm.

Vegeta snarled in Angier twisting in the air and sending a kick towards Trunk's head, However the man from the future merely ducked the attack before springing back up and upper cutting the older Sayian in the stomach.

"Well done I knew you can do it" Trunk yelled brightly but this only cause another roar on angrier to leave Vegeta's lips.

"Don't you dare mock me!" He snarled wrapping his arms around the boys forearm. "You have no idea what I can do!"

A golden glow began to resonate from Vegeta's body as his whole skin seemed to flicker gold.

"Crap!" Trunk's thought to himself remembering what his father had told him about his fight with Friezia. "He's going to self destruct and take my arm off!"

Boom!

Goten's foot connected against the back of Vegeta's head as Trunks drew back his free hand cracked the Sayian King directly on the tip of his nose. Both attack simultaneously with the damage that had been inflicted before was enough to knock the enraged Sayian to the ground completely knocked out.

"You ok Trunks!" He nearly took your arm off Goten said quickly looking down at Vegeta. "Man I never knew your dad was this tough!"

"Don't say that out loud!" Trunk's snapped raising a finger to his lips as he turned to see the Three remaining Z fighters Goten had been pre-occupying had landed and were now staring at him ready to battle the three brave men ready to die in order to fight off this new threat before them.

"I'm sorry guys!" Trunks yelled at the three warriors dropping out of his Super Sayian transformation as a sign of peace. "I had to be tough on Vegeta otherwise he wouldn't transform theirs no need for us to fight."

"You expect us to believe you" Krillin snapped back angrily as a white hot aura engulfed around him. "I know your kind you will say anything to get an advantage!"

"Yeah!" Yamcha chimed in. "We where going easy on that boy of yours but we won't be so kind to you!"

"Don't get cocky keep your guard up" Tien said calmly glaring at Trunks intently "We know he's a super Sayian he's no joke.

Trunk's eyes locked on Tien's and the Young Demi Sayian's hand twitch ready to fire a Ki blast to incinerate the three eyed man were he stood but instead the young man took a calming deep breath to steady himself.

"No Master said we didn't have to kill him the future can be changed! We just have to deliver are message!"

So what did you guys think of this chapter. I told you it would be getting good XD and it's moving completely away from cannon and I would really like to hear your guys feed back on everything. Like dose Vegeta transforming make sense? Why do you think Kia ken is better for Gohan to fight than super Sayian (My answer is actually pretty cool) ? Do you like the concept of a blind Future Gohan?

I think Goku, because no way will bardock name his kid Goten
Also I'm thinking androids have been taken care of already and some other threat in future forced them to come back
Also I'm guessing ssj Goku would be stronger than Frieza and Cold clan but by no means a walkover as they are stronger compared to canon that's what the deaths you meant must be
Also if Garlic is in such a state even if he's immortal, meaning Vegeta could be made to go in such a state too if a villain figured it out right?
What happens if Garlic's entire body is eradicated?

Good guess with Goku I actually intended this Future Gohan to seem more like Goku in order to throw you guys off. But why did he call his Son Goten and why dose goten have red hair ? We will get to what happened in the future in the next chapter I kind of gave a hint to it in this chapter if you guys caught on to it. But it will all be explained. And Yes it can happen to Vegeta and like Future Trunks stated in this chapter it has happened to his father Future Vegeta. What happened exactly you will find out but he is in no condition to fight. In regards to Garlic Jr whole body. It depends on what state he was in when he was eradicated. If he was fully bodied I think he would come back fully bodied but if he was missing an arm that arm wouldn't come back. I see it as the Dragon power is reversing what should kill him. Like why Vegeta neck being snapped the way Trunks kicked him last chapter didn't cripple him because it was the neck breaking that would have killed him. However if he had broken his spine he would still have a broken spine make sense? This is my way of making Immortality flawed and giving it a big weakness that I don't think many people think about for it to be perfect you need to also have invanualbility, eternal youth, and wish to be the stongest being in all of creation if the dragon could even grant that.

You where right on the Money With it being Future Gohan. Two reasons why Bardock wasn't in the first fight. 1. He is a lot slower than Goku who he was with at the time and Goku and him were a lot further away than the others were so it was just one of thoese things. 2. He had a vision of where the hooded man would be and saw he had Gohan so choses to intercept him and Get Gohan out of the way. But your right he didn't do much and hasn't done much for a while something that will be bothering him...

This story is a farce, no dragonball's no dragon ball. Go type a superman story. Goten isn't goten, gohan is broly, gine is stifler's ma.

I'm sorry you don't like the story and thank you for your feedback. All I will say is without spoiling anything that the Dragonballs being gone from this story will make more sense next chapter. As they kinda have to be gone for their to be a story.
