Heey there everyone, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope you all have an amazing Holiday and this is a one-shot that I decided to do because I got an idea from listening to the song: "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus", by Jimmy Boyd.

I hope you like it! :)

Please comment/review and let me know what you think of it, I would greatly appreciate it, thanks!

UPDATE: Originally I had the first few lines of the song, "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus", in the beginning of this story, but apparently the rule on Fanfiction is that there could be no lyrics, so, unfortunately, I had to remove them. However, not that you have to, but I recommend listening to the song before/while you read this fic. Nevertheless, I hope still enjoy and thank you!

I OWN NOTHING; I DO NOT OWN THE LEGEND OF KORRA OR THE SONG: "I SAW MOMMY KISSING SANTA CLAUS" BY: JIMMY BOYD OR ANY REMIXES OF THE SONG.

"I Saw The Avatar Kissing Santa Claus"

. . .

It is a cold, snowy night in Republic City; the light grey clouds covering the dark, midnight blue sky and snowflakes falling gently onto the ground. Six inches of snow covers the ground and a thin layer of ice is hidden underneath most of the white powder.

The glow of the moon hits the snow, making it sparkle and shine, almost looking like a thousand diamonds glittering; it looks so beautiful.

It is 11:55 Christmas Eve night; only five more minutes until Christmas.

All the little kids are in their beds, tucked in and sleeping. The kids are sleeping soundly as they wait for Santa Claus to come and bring them their gifts.

However, not all the kids are tucked in their beds and peacefully dreaming. In a medium size house, upstairs in a average sized bedroom is a young boy who is four years old, wide awake, and staring out his bedroom window.

The young boy's anxious eyes search the empty sky, waiting to see Santa Claus' sleigh and the reindeer. A small smile graces his face and his big, but sleepy, amber eyes are wide and shining with excitement.

Downstairs in the living room, a man, wearing a red suit, white beard, black boots, and a red Christmas hat, is holding a big bag that has many presents in it and one by one he takes the presents out of the bag and places it under the large Christmas tree.

The Christmas tree is stands tall and is absolutely beautiful; it is covered in various kinds of decorations and ornaments with a bright, crystal star on the top. The star shines in the dark room, giving off a dim light.

The house is silent, not a single sound is heard, and the man thinks no one knows he is there . . . that is until a soft, quiet voice breaks the silent.

"Ho, ho, ho, Santa." Korra says with her arms across her chest and a smirk on her lips as she makes her way into the living room.

The man, "Santa", jumps and then whips his body around to face his smirking wife, the one and only, the Avatar.

Korra slowly makes her way over to him as she raises an eyebrow, "So, you're Santa tonight, Mako?"

Santa, or in this case really, Mako, smirks at her and simply shrugs his shoulders, "You bet." He then furrows his eyebrows as confusion masks his face,
"What are you doing up, anyways?"

Now, it was the Avatar's turn to shrug her shoulders, "I guess I just wanted to see Santa."

Mako chuckles and leans down to place a gentle kiss on his wife's forehead, "Is Haku asleep?"

She nods her head and smiles up at the Firebender, "Yeah, he's all tucked in and sound asleep. He is going to love all these presents."

He places the bag he was holding on the wooden floor and wraps his arms around Korra's waist, "I hope so. I mean, do you know how much work it is to come all the way over here from the North Pole?"

Korra cannot help the small fits of laughs that spill from her lips. She rolls her sapphire eyes and wraps her slender arms around his neck, "Oh, so you came all the way here from the North Pole, huh?"

"Yup, and I don't even get a present in return after such a long journey." Mako lightly jokes as he winks at Korra who can't stop giggling. Oh, how he loves the sound of her laughter.

"Oh, well then maybe we'll just have to fix that because Santa deserves a present, too." The Avatar winks back at him, then adding with her signature smirk, "But you need to get rid of the beard if I'm going to give you any presents."

Mako raises an eyebrow and mockingly gasps, "Oh, you don't like my long, white, old beard?"

Korra continues to laugh at her insane husband, still not being able to believe he would wear a Santa Claus outfit, and Mako has to put his hand over her mouth so her laughter doesn't wake up their son.

"Sh! You don't want Haku to wake up and find Mommy with Santa, now do you?" He asks with a smile on his lips and Korra just giggles and rolls her ocean color irises at him.

The couple, however, was too busy joking and laughing with each other that they did not realize that Haku is slowly and quietly climbing down the stairs with his eyes wide. He is crawling like an expert ninja so Santa does not spot him. When he makes it to the bottom of the stairs, he peeks into the living room only to see Santa Claus and his mommy talking and laughing.

"Nope, hate the beard, it makes you look old and I hate facial hair." Korra laughs as she shakes her head at him.

Mako rolls his golden eyes at her, not being able to hold back a small smirk, "Oh, well thanks, Korra."

She looks up, the corners of her mouth curving upwards into a wide grin, "Do you see what's right above us?" Her husband looks at her with a curious look before turning his gaze upwards to see a mistletoe hanging above their heads.

The Firebender then looks back down at Korra's face with a raised eyebrow, "A mistletoe?"

"Yup." She says, her eyes shining with love and mischievousness. Slowly, they both lean closer and closer together until their lips finally touch.

The two begin to share a long, passionate kiss, the love pouring out of them, as Mako has his arms wrapped around Korra's waist tightly and the Avatar has her arms laced around his neck; her fingers playing subconsciously with the small hairs on his neck.

Haku gasps at the sight, not understanding the scene playing out right before his eyes. Not knowing what else to do, he shakes his head and screams at the top of his lungs, "Ahhhhh! Mommy is kissing Santa Claus!"

Korra and Mako jump apart, breaking their tight embrace and their heated kiss; their eyes widen as their faces are quickly covered in a thick mask of shock and embarrassment. How could they not even realize their son was right there?

"Oh, Haku . . . you're- you're awake." Korra begins quietly as she rubs the back of her neck awkwardly and bites down on her bottom lip.

Haku's golden eyes are wide with confusion and fear; his facial expression is drained from all color and he looks like he just saw a scary Spirit. "Why is Mommy kissing Santa Claus?! What about Daddy?! What is he going to do when he finds out that Mommy was kissing Santa Claus?!"

Mako bites down on his tongue, trying his best to hold back his laughter, but Haku notices. The young boy pouts, the frowning matching his father's perfectly when the Firebender is angry, and suddenly yells, "You are a bad Sanny Claus!"

"Honey-" Korra tries to say, but her son cuts her off, practically screaming, "And for you, Mommy, I'm going to tell Daddy on you!"

Now it's the Avatar's turn where she has to bite back her own giggles. Her son is absolutely something else, that's for sure. She then shakes her head and calmly tries to explain, "Honey, it's okay. Daddy is okay and, um, how do I put this?"

Mako's face begins to change colors due to lack of oxygen because he is holding his breath so he doesn't burst into laughter when his son is being completely serious for once. His son's personality takes after his mother and his Uncle Bolin; he isn't the serious type, nope, he is rather the joking and carefree type of person.

"Come on, Haku. Why don't you go back upstairs in your room and to sleep? The sooner you're asleep the sooner morning comes and you get to open your presents!" Korra says with a wide grin plastered on her face, her voice trying to sound cheery and convincing. Her wide, crystal blue eyes connect with her son's amber ones and she can only hope her son will listen and forget this all ever happened.

Haku nods his head slowly, not really liking the idea of leaving Santa alone with his Mommy again, "Okay . . . but one question, Mommy."

"And what's that, honey?" She asks with a raised eyebrow as she tilts her head slightly to the side.

"Why is Santa's beard crooked?" Haku asks, blinking his large eyes innocently, as he stares at Santa's –Mako's fake- beard.

Mako and Korra's eyes widen and they quickly glance at each other, exchanging a worried glance. Trying to fix this situation her and her husband found themselves stuck in, she claps her hands together, "Alright! Let's go to bed! Come on, let's go, baby."

The young child eyes Santa and mumbles to him, his face deadly serious, which matches his tone of voice, "I'm watching you Sanny Claus . . . my Mommy is off limits!"

Mako bites back his chuckling and clears his throt before nodding his head, "Yes, sir. Oh, and Merry Christmas, son."

"And now you're calling me son? First, I see Mommy kissing Santa Claus and now Santa Claus is trying to call me son! . . . Poor Daddy . . . if only he knew." Haku mutters with a shake to the head and then he starts dragging himself upstairs and to his bed.

Korra shakes her head, running a hand through her hair tiredly, and smirks at Mako once Haku is upstairs, "Oh my Spirits."

The Firebender chuckles and once again wraps his arm around Korra's waist, "Well . . . that was, uh, something."

"Do you think he's going to 'tell Daddy' what happened tonight?" She asks jokingly, causing him to just roll his golden eyes and laugh.

"Probably." He says and then bends his head down to capture his wife's lips again. However, during their kiss Haku yells from the stairs, "Stop kissing my Mommy! Oh my Spirits! I keep seeing Mommy kissing Santa Claus! What is this? Ahh!" Haku runs in a circle before running off to his room.

The married couple stare at each other in silence, just blinking at each other, until a few moments pass by and they burst into laughter. Korra looks up at Mako and shakes her head, "He definitely takes after Bolin."

Nodding his head, he mutters, "I agree one hundred percent with you there, Avatar."

"You know," He begins as he looks down into Korra's loving eyes, "this Santa is pretty lucky. He has a beautiful wife, an amazing kid, and he even gets to kiss the Avatar."

Korra laughs, but then asks with a raised eyebrow, "Wait . . . so am I Mrs. Claus now?"

Mako raises an eyebrow and winks, "Yes, or well, it depends, do you want to be?"

"Isn't she supposed to be old?" The Waterbender scrunches up her nose as she keeps her eyebrow raised and folds her arms across her chest.

Mako bites his lip and hopes he says the right thing, not wanting to get in trouble, "Um . . . no?"

"Uh-huh, you know, when Haku tells his 'Daddy' that 'you' AKA Santa Claus was kissing his Mommy, I'm just going to laugh and blame it all on Santa." She says with a grin and then starts to head towards the stairs.

"Hey, where you going?" He asks as he makes his way to the stairs, catching up with his wife.

"Bed, unless you want your present now, Santa?" Korra playfully asks with the corners of her mouth curved upwards into a smirk.

He smiles widely, liking the sound of where their night was going, "I think I would like my present now, please."

The grin on her face only grows wider and she grabs her husband's hand, tugging on it gently, but eagerly, "Then let's go!"

Mako and Korra run up the stairs and to their bedroom. They enter the pitch-black room and their lips immediately find each others. They begin to kiss passionately, the kiss turning heated in only a matter of moments. They're back in the same embrace as before: Korra's arms wrapped around her husband's neck and his arms tightly around her waist.

They are completely lost in the kiss, but since the room is entirely pitch black, they did not see Haku sitting on the bed.

Haku's eyes widen and then, once again, his screams echo throughout the house, catching Mako and Korra's attention and scaring them, "MOMMY IS KISSING SANTA CLAUS!"
