A/N: Along with this being my entry for the Chocoballs section of the Honeydukes Competition in HPFC, it is also a Christmas present to The Last Poison Apple, the amazing girl who organized the HPFC 2012 Christmas Fic Exchange. Hope you enjoy.

DISCLAIMER: I do NOT own HP, JKR does.

"JAMES POTTER YOU GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!" Lily Evans shouted as she chased James Potter through the grounds of Hogwarts. She had been studying, waiting for James so they could study together, but when he showed up, instead of sitting down like any other normal boyfriend, he kissed her on the cheek, looked her right in the eye, and stole her book.

"I need to study!" Lily shouted.

"Oh, come on Evans, lighten up!" James told her as he turned around to face her. She didn't expect him to stop so suddenly, and before she could fully stop herself, her face was buried in James' new coat. He quickly caught her, and took the opportunity to pull her into a tight embrace, lifting her off of the ground.

"Lily, you need a break. It's not healthy for you to be working this hard," James protested, "Please?"

That was what she loved about him. As crazy and wild as he was, he listened, he cared about her, he helped her study, and even helped her relax when she was overworking. If he knew she needed a break, then she probably did.

"Fine," Lily sighed, "But not too long."

"Yes! I know exactly what we should do."

James led her into a room, but she couldn't see where she was, since he was covering her eyes. Slowly, he pulled his hands off of her eyes to reveal the Quidditch pitch.

"Why are we here?" she asked.

"Because I wanted you to come and fly with me," James told her.

"Okay," Lily said. James helped her up onto the broomstick, and climbed on behind her. He began to fly higher and higher into the air, until they were hovering above the center mark on the Quidditch pitch. James took Lily's shoulders and turned her around. She swung around to face James, took one look into his eyes, and melted. She kissed him in the middle of the air, and as she pulled away, she felt something cold hit her nose. It was a snowflake.

All of a sudden, a billion tiny white snowflakes flew from the sky, flying around in every direction. Lily laughed as the snowflakes hit them, admiring the beautiful white sky. James laughed, pulling off his glasses to wipe off the snow.

James put his glasses back on and kissed Lily again as he lowered the broom. They kissed until their feet touched the ground. Once they were on the ground and standing again, James put his arm around Lily protectively. She hugged him tightly. She looked up at him.

"So…Where's my book?" Lily asked James.

"It's in the Common Room. We passed Sirius on the way here and I got him to take it back for you," he said.

"Thank you," Lily replied.

James leaned down and kissed her softly.

"I couldn't have a better boyfriend," she said as they headed back to the Commom Room.

"And I couldn't have a better girlfriend," he said, making her smile.

Lily felt James' fingers slide through hers, hands entwined, walking through the grounds, watching the snow fall peacefully.

She wouldn't have it any other way.
