I appreciate the reviews. Yeah yeah, I sorta forgot about him having one as a kid lol. The funny thing is I remembered Piccolo's amazing clothes and Gohan's full outfit... but it didn't quite register that he had a sword haha. I don't know how much of the skills he'd remember though, and I'm not sure he'd mention that to Sharpener. It was like what; a 3 or 4 yr old living alone for 6 months? My memory on that is a little fuzzy now.

I might edit that chapter with him acknowledging that time in his life at some point but he won't say it to his buddy. I do have a few other chapters I need to revise: nothing story wise; just poor grammar, poor clarity, and some silly mistakes. I saw that somewhere in a chapter I said "has something has" instead of "as something as"... Face palm! D:

My first priority is making new chapters, but I do hope that I'll start taking more time to focus on this story and fix those mistakes. I'm finding some motivation and time, but still struggling some. I'm sure the more I do it and make it a habit, I'll become more productive.

RING! RING! RING!

Videl shrugged out of bed. Another day of school was ahead of her. She quickly turned off her alarm and got ready to leave. A lot has happened to her recently. She met a mysterious new student, learned there were people far stronger than her, got yelled at by this new student, questioned her life decisions, and made a fool of herself more than once. On top of that she still has helped the cops out on occasion. It all seemed overwhelming. She brought this on herself though. She was letting Son Gohan get under her skin.

She was still determined to figure out what was up with that boy. He lived super far away and decided to go to school here. Well he did have a fast ride, but that showed he knew Bulma Briefs. How did a mountain boy know the most famous scientist in the world? He pretended that he couldn't fight. Who does that? The time she spent with him made her believe he was nice. But that was only a week of experience. And the fact that he was clearly still hiding stuff made her unable to trust him. She did learn that his father had passed away. Discovered that the wrong way! She was definitely going to have to rethink her strategy.

She was going to have to calm her temper for that to work though. Tien showed her how important controlling ones mental state was. Not everything could be done in a week. She was far too impatient. It never occurred to her how insecure she had become due to her status. She was going to be wary of Gohan until she could trust him. That wasn't going to change. She didn't need to know everything about his personal life. All that mattered now was why he acted so shady and suspicious. It made her feel uneasy. She made it far harder on herself now though. He was sure to be just as wary of her now as she was of him. She took one last deep breath before leaving her house. She had so much yet to learn.

/\/\/\/\/\

Videl arrived at school and quickly spotted Sharpener and Erasa. They waved at her as she walked towards them. As she approached them, Erasa hugged her, "Hey girl!"

"Hey Erasa, long time no see," she replied sarcastically. It hadn't even been a full day and Erasa acted like this.

Erasa rolled her eyes, "What can't I show my emotions? You know not everyone acts like their only emotion is anger."

Videl sighed before deciding to humor the girl. "Awwww! I missed you soooo much! How's life been?" Videl used her most girly, cutesy voice while shaking Erasa.

Erasa squealed, completely taken off guard. "Viiiiii!" She couldn't recall the last time Videl acted like this. "What's gotten into you?"

Videl let go of her friend grinning, "But wasn't that what you wanted?" Videl had so much always going on. Maybe she should take it easy every now and again. Plus that reaction was completely worth it. Even Sharpener had a questioning look on his face.

Brushing herself off Erasa responded, "Well… yea. I… I just didn't expect to get it."

Giggling Videl said, "Gotcha!" This is what she needed. Today's going to be a break for her. No grilling people, no following Gohan, no yelling, she wasn't going to do any of it.

Erasa tilted her head puzzled. "You seem to be in uhhh good mood? You okay?" 'I think I broke Videl!' Erasa thought to herself.

"Yea what's up with that?" Sharpener joined in, "This seems unlike you." Videl had become quite the uptight person. Not that she couldn't joke around; rather, this just wasn't the way she'd do it.

Videl frowned a little, "I guess not. Yesterday I realized I've been… Well…"

"A wretch?" Sharpener added.

She glared at him but she couldn't deny it. "Yeah, Tien showed me that twice now. I think I need to ease up some and be more open-minded.

Sharpener and Erasa looked at each other. They agreed there friend could be overbearing at times. They just didn't think they'd see the day that Videl would acknowledge it.

Erasa smiled, "Sooooo are you willing to get a boyfriend then?"

Videl almost yelled before stopping. 'Remember? No yelling today!' She opened her mouth once more, "No thank you! I'm trying to be more thoughtful, not change what I want. Nice try Erasa."

Her friend frowned, "No fun!" Erasa turned away from her, "I'm sure that'd help your grumpiness."

Videl clenched her hand. Habits die hard and Erasa was testing her. Tomorrow, she'll yell at Erasa tomorrow she reassured herself. She might be trying to control her emotions better, but that doesn't mean she couldn't ever get mad. Today was just going to be a break for her. "Says the girl who's also single and yet is the happiest thing on the planet," she retorted.

Acting like an angel Erasa responded, "Not everyone has my amazing gift!"

As Videl opened her mouth, the bell rang. The school day had officially started and they headed to their first class of the day. Erasa looked around as they walked to their class, "Is Gohan not here yet?"

"Nerd-boy is here."

"Really? I haven't seen him." Erasa looked at Sharpener.

"He waved at me when I showed up."

"He was here before you? You were here fairly early today? Weird," Erasa stated.

"Yea, but it makes sense. He was with that girl he knows. He seemed to be enjoying himself," Sharpener entered the classroom.

Videl had completely forgotten about her. She had already irritated the girl when she was rude to Gohan. If she would have thought it through, she could have tried to use that girl to gain more knowledge of Gohan. Boy did she burn that bridge fast!

"Oh? It was so surprising that he knew someone from here!" Erasa sat in her seat.

Sharpener set his legs on his desk. "Agreed! He needs to teach me his secret. I need to find myself a girl like that."

"His 'secret' is probably not acting full of himself all the time," she mocked, "And you heard him say they weren't dating. They're just… um… really close."

Laughing Sharpener responded, "Please! You saw how they acted. You don't even seem convinced that they are just friends. I think he's just too shy to talk about it."

Videl stared out the window to drown out the sound of them talking. Hearing them continue to talk about Lime ate at her nerves. She was just another problem Videl created for herself.

/\/\/\/\/\

Gohan worked hard to get up early for once so that he could arrive at school early. It would give him time to talk with Lime. Sensing her on his walk to school, he quickly met up with her.

"So did you enjoy yourself with your friend, Gohan?" Lime called out as he caught up to her.

"Yea, I did. Got something to eat and went to the batting cages. It helped me learn the town some," he answered.

Turning to him surprised, "Wait! What? Did you actually bat? You didn't rip holes in anything or incinerate the ball did you?"

He smiled with his thumb out, "I batted. And I didn't break anything! Even managed to hit it roughly as far as he did."

"How did you manage that?" Lime replied still appearing surprised.

"Hey give me some credit. It was definitely hard. Felt like I was using most my energy to pull back my swings to match his. And then learning the timing for such a slow swing was also tough. Being normal is hard! It sucks trying to fit in. It's tempting to just not." School life was already tiring him out; with him having to work extra hard to be gentle while in Super Saiyan. There was also Videl that kept bothering him. And of course there was also the fact that people really believed that Hercule somehow defeated Cell. What would people think if they saw him fly or move cars with ease? Would they be brainwashed enough to believe it was just a trick? Or impressed that he's that strong?

Giggling she patted his back, "Awwww poor Gohan. It can't be that bad. I'm okay with you not trying to fit in. The surprise on people's faces would be great! But you know you'd still have problems to deal with. Pick your poison."

He frowned knowing she's right. He wouldn't really get rid of all his problems. It'd be more like he just traded his problems for different ones. Whether it was being ridiculed for being a trickster or being worshipped as a hero, problems would still exist. Would he rather just ignore people questioning if he was just using tricks in everyday life? Or show people that his skills were real? This could cause people to: possibly fear his strength, acknowledge him as a hero, scientist wanting to experiment on him, or much more. The possibilities seemed endless. No matter what it most likely meant more attention drawn towards him and it just didn't seem worth it right now. This was why he was okay with just living in the mountains away from people.

Sighing he admitted, "You're right. I don't like either answer."

"Of course I'm right! Do you know who I am?" She toyed with him, "Come on! You defeated Cell. This should be easy!"

School was in vision now. He chuckled at her remark, "I choose fighting a deranged android any day over fitting in! It's just fighting, far simpler than this!"

"I'm glad you're here! I missed talking to you!"

Entering the school, they headed for the lockers to get what they'd need for the day. "It's nice to chat again, but it wasn't like we never saw each other. You know where I live. Even coming into town to chat with you would be fine, so long as I didn't have to talk too much with others." Despite saying this, he was happy that he went to school here. Erasa and Sharpener were nice to be around. Even Videl was nice. She was just a nosy, spoiled girl and that got annoying.

"True, but now I get to see you EVERYDAY," She smiled. "I think you can survive school. Just be careful in gym. Aaaand you might want to stay away from Videl." Lime has known Videl for a while; being in the same schools for their entire life allowed her to gain some understanding of Videl. Lime didn't dislike the girl. She just knew how noisy she could be. She had already angered Gohan once. Lime wouldn't be surprised if she did it again and she really wanted avoid that.

He appreciated her concern. "Don't worry," he put his hand on her shoulder, "I plan to be more prepared for her. I have given her some reason to act the way she has. Not that it justifies some of her actions. So I just need to be more careful and always expect her behavior." Gohan waved to Sharpener who just entered the building.

She faced the entrance looking at what Gohan was waving at, "Good! Oh it's… Uh… Sharpener right? You want to go talk to him?"

"That's him. I'll be able to talk to him later."

"Okay!" Lime was glad to spend time with Gohan again.

Gohan then explained to her what he had been doing these past few months she didn't see him. He described the events that led up to him going to school and how the first week went for him. They continued to talk until the bell rang.

/\/\/\/\/\

Videl felt pleased as the day dragged on. Her eyes thanked her for not boring intensely at Son Gohan. It was the rest they needed with all the strain she exerts on them. Today she ignored most of her surroundings while listening to her lectures. Relaxing proved to be more challenging than she thought it would be. Her friends were excellent at irritating her. She deemed them extraordinarily gifted at pushing her buttons.

At the same time, it was a good thing. Tien already had demonstrated how important meditation was. While that opened her eyes to it, this further convinced her of its usefulness. Hopefully in time it would help her better control herself. It had only been a few hours since she decided to stay calm for a day and it was already a struggle for her. And she had to admit, it felt marvelous to not be angry all day. She gathered her things as she headed to lunch.

/\/\/\/\/\

The three had met up in the cafeteria. Looking around Sharpener wondered, "Anyone see nerd-boy?"

"No, I haven't. Vi?" Erasa nodded at Videl.

"Nope."

"Hmmm…" Erasa scanned his usual spot, "Weird, he's not where he usually sits."

Sharpener motioned at Videl, "I think he must not want to be bothered today." Implying Gohan desired space from her.

"I suppose you could be right. Well, if he shows up he can join us." Erasa smiled as she found a table to sit at. "So Sharpener, did you have fun yesterday? You hung out with Gohan after school right?"

He smirked at her, "Yeah. It was good; took him to the batting cages. Can you believe he has never played baseball before? Had to teach him how to swing."

"I'm not too surprised since he lives out in no man's land. Did you ask him how he gets here? That's got to be a long trip," Erasa added.

"He's got a jet copter. A high class one at that," Videl joined in.

Erasa twisted her head around, "Really? I guess that's really the only way he could get here though. It must still be a long trip. I wonder how he got one of those. They cost a fortune."

Videl finished chewing her food, "He knows Bulma Briefs."

"WHAT?" The blondes yelled in sync. "HOW?"

Videl shrugged, "Beats me. I tried to get him to tell me but he wouldn't."

"And when did this happen? That's Videl for you! Did you learn anything about him yesterday?" Erasa asked now eying Sharpener.

"He's a fast learner I'll tell you that! He struggled on his first attempt at hitting the ball, but after that he hit pretty much everything. He even went into the fastest cage and had no problems. His form was great for his first time. He really surprised me!"

"Wow! That's amazing! He is pretty athletic so I guess it's not a complete surprise," Erasa chimed. "Is that all though? You didn't ask about his 'girlfriend' or about his birthday that happened and he didn't tell us about? Or about his family? Or what he likes? Or-"

Sharpener raised his hand toward her, "Slooow down! You're asking about way too many things. I didn't ask about any of that."

Erasa crossed her arms, "Pfff! What did you even do then? Aren't these the things you talk about when you hang out? Boys!"

Tapping on the table he replied, "We experienced life! That's what guys do. We don't play twenty questions with each other. We live in the moment enjoying the activity we're doing." He paused, "Plus it didn't occur to me at the time. I did ask him if he wanted to join the boxing club or baseball team. I'm sure he'd do really well in either but he declined saying he's too busy for that."

"That's a shame. Well at least you asked him something! How do guys get to know each other if they never ask questions? Something's wrong with you all!" Erasa replied shaking her head.

"Hey I learned things about him; like he's a quick learner and easy to be around. Best way to learn about someone is spending time with them. Experiences make up friendship. I don't need to know the answer to all those questions so long as I know he's someone I can depend on." Sharpener responded sitting tall.

Erasa appeared more annoyed now, "But people you can depend on are people you share your problems with. These questions are important way to learn about each other AND be able to talk your issues through. Or do guys not have issues?"

"Actions speak louder than words!" Sharpener announced while flexing.

Erasa was about to retort until Videl's laughing interrupted their arguing. Videl was losing it listening to these buffoons argue. Observing them being pains to each other was far more enjoyable than when she is on the receiving end. After calming down she noted, "Hilarious! Are you two really arguing over that?" Thinking about it made her start laughing again.

The blondes stared at her and then at each other. Videl's broken! She was far too relaxed to be their friend that they've come to know. Erasa hugged her, "I'm sorry," she whispered; pitying her friend.

Videl perused the girl on her shoulder confused, "What?"

"I promise I'll be nicer to you," Erasa continued completely ignored Videl.

"What are you going on about?" Videl found herself lost the bell broke her concentration and they headed back to class.

/\/\/\/\/\

The school day was finally nearing a close as the gang gathered for gym. Finally having time to talk to Gohan, Erasa asked, "What have you been doing all day?

"Sorry! I stole him from you guys today." Lime answered. "I hadn't seen him in forever! So I wanted to catch up with him," she glanced at Gohan who just smiled and laughed.

"Oh! I see!" Erasa accepted the answer. "But you can join us! We don't bite…" She leaned up to Lime, "Well Videl bites some. But don't worry I'll chain her up if she's being bad."

She managed to get a laugh out of Lime. "Thanks, and I will. But we were… uh… talking about some personal stuff," Lime explained. She wanted to hear how his family had been as well as the other Z-warriors. She also filled him on what's she has been up to. Then there was the fact that tomorrow was a bad day for Gohan. She wanted to make sure he'll be fine and that he knew she was there for him.

Sharpener smirked, "No need to explain. I don't need to know." Lime winked, playing along. He shifted towards Gohan with an even larger smirk. Gohan rolled his eyes realizing Sharpener's assumption.

'Not today! Not today! Not today!' Videl kept repeating to herself. She wasn't allowing this girl to get to her today.

Tien entered the room and gym had officially begun. Everyone stretched and warmed up before getting into their groups. Lime and Gohan chose, unsurprisingly, to mediate again. No one was going to question it anymore. Videl shockingly sat in her group and did the same. Of course she was going to train. She mediated only while waiting for her turn to spar.

Almost halfway through the class, Sharpener approached Tien. Once he got the instructor's attention he voiced his question, "Would you mind sparring me sir?" Sharpener bowed in respect.

This caught Tien off guard. He never thought that someone would challenge him. While Videl did, he was the one that egged her into doing so. It placed a smile on his face despite his surprise. The kid must've wanted to experience his skill first hand. Given the opportunity to fight someone better than you, a warrior would always make the most of it. "I'll be happy accept your offer, but do you think you're ready for it?"

Excitement crept on his face. He wasn't sure if Tien would accept his offer. He wanted to witness the man's skill first hand in a fight. With certainty he knew he was no match, but how could he resist this chance. Not only that, but it may show him just how much Tien outclassed everyone else he knew. Raising his arms and bouncing on his feet he was ready, "I'm ready, show me your strength."

Everyone else had stopped their fights and gathered around the two. It astonished the entire class that someone would wish to fight Tien. It was clear that the master was far beyond any of their levels. Regardless of the fact that everyone knew who would win; they all wished to observe Tien fighting once more.

Acknowledging that Sharpener was prepared and taking it seriously; Tien entered his stance. Eying the boy, he allowed Sharpener to make the first move. Sharpener hopped in place for a few moments until he sensed the moment to strike. Throwing a left jab at Tien's face, it was effortlessly deflected by Tien. Unfazed Sharpener threw a few more, faster jabs. Tien juked them before blocking the cross that followed.

Tien shifted into offense. Stepping into Sharpener's space, he pushed the jab away from his body while landing a strike to the right arm. He then decided to test Sharpener's feet with a low kick to the calf. Sharpener evaded the first kick and deflected the second with his own foot. Afterwards, he slipped outside of Tien's next punch and stuck back. Tien danced around the strike to deliver another hit onto the right arm.

Shaking himself off Sharpener said to Tien, "Come on teach. You don't have to pull you punches so much on me." The two strikes Tien had landed weren't that strong. Sure they weren't full punching motions, but he was sure that they'd still be stronger than that.

Tien noted he may have been pulling his punches a little too much. It was far better to do that though than not enough. But he decided to make use of it, knowing that Sharpener was using a mostly boxing style on him. He grinned before jumping back at Sharpener. The boy did his best to keep the distance between them, but Tien landed a couple more strikes to his arm.

Sharpener continued to try to land a blow onto Tien with no luck. Sweat began to drip down his face. Gasping for air, he tried to gather himself. He couldn't find a single opening. The overbearing pressure consumed his body. Is this what it's like to face a master? Every mistake he made was punished with another hit to his arm. He could feel his options being choked out of him. Sure he's lost plenty of fights before; many from Videl who was no doubt a better fighter than himself. And of those fights many ended faster than this. But none of his fights had he ever felt so much pressure. The pressure weighed heavily on his body. He had no control in this fight. It even felt like Tien manipulated Sharpener into the strikes he had made. Just how good was this man?

Tien noticed Sharpener's aura fading. He had given the boy a decent fight that also managed to show Tien how good the boy was. He had to admit that he was impressed with the boy's talent and determination. Of course the kid never stood a chance against someone like him; who had to train on a whole different level than this planet knew of. As Sharpener flew near, Tien decided it was time to end this. Catching the boy's strike, he calculatingly stuck the right arm again. It was the seventeenth blow to the exact same spot on his arm.

Pain overcame his arm as he finally understood what Tien had been doing this entire time. Being too caught up in the master's pressure, he never considered how all the strikes were in the same spot. Sure none of them were powerful on their own, but together they had taken their toll. His arm grew too heavy to lift as he struggled to hold his defensive stance. He smiled, "You're going to have to hit me harder to end this teach."

Tien laughed at the kid's intense determination. "I guess so, but let me tell you something. You're jabs are good. You use them to try had keep space when I approach you. You also used them to test my defense and try to create an opening for a stronger punch to connect. BUT! You need to learn how to vary your jabs. And to really get an opening, you want them to fear your jab. Sure having a jab connect can stagger them long enough to land another punch. But the best thing about a jab is its ability to blind your opponent. It's one reason it goes for the face. People are always protective of their face. So sending a strike at it really gets their attention. And even if they block it, now there's a fist blocking their view. Your jab will never be your strongest punch. But if you throw one with power, people will lose their concentration."

Tien launched himself at Sharpener when a fearsome jab. Unable to move his right arm, he resorted to pulling his left across his body to block the strike. Mere milliseconds after feeling contact with Tien's jab, Sharpener's gut burned. He dropped to his knees as the air was ripped out of his lungs. He stayed down holding himself up with his left hand struggling to breathe. Tien's strike wasn't the hardest he's felt. It just caught him off guard and was placed perfectly.

Finally able to recover his breathe, he laughed. 'Incredible! He's just amazing. My full focus was on that jab. I didn't even see his other fist hit my stomach! And that jab! It felt like it'd dropped me cold if I didn't intercept it.' Sharpener thought about his defeat. Standing back up rubbing his injured arm, he faced Tien, "Incredible teach! So this is what it means to be a World Champ! Thank you for the fight!'

They bowed at each. Tien scanned Sharpener's body, "The pleasure was mine. Are you alright?"

Sharpener gave him the okay, "Of course teach! You went easy on me after all. I can take it!"

"That's good," Tien responded glad to not have overdone it. "Well since you all were watching, I hope you learned something. Like Sharpener you might have realized most of my punches weren't that strong. What I did there was focus his strength, which was his right arm. And I did it by repeatedly striking the same spot. Of course, if you can strike with one punch hard enough you'd get the same result. But I wanted to show you all that strength is not the only factor in a fight. If you're able to be precise with you strikes, you can take down foes that can endure you strongest strikes. You just have to pick key points to attack. There are also submission holds that use knowledge of the body to allow one to gain leverage over his opponent. So use your understanding of your weaknesses to develop strengths that help you overcome them. Now please, get back to your spars."

The class once again was in awe at Tien's fighting skill and knowledge. Seeing the speed of Tien's last two punches shocked Videl. There was no way she'd be able to block the strike that dropped Sharpener. She was also impressed how accurate Tien was with his attacks. It took her a moment, but she discovered what he was doing to Sharpener with his punches. Even though Tien could outright beat any of them with shear skill, it seemed he knew multiple ways of winning each fight. It was scary how the man seemed to be multiple steps ahead of his opponent. Shaking the thought away, she readied for her own spar against another student. But instead of focusing on winning it, she was determined to do so with strategy.

"Hey teach, you don't mind if I sit out the rest of the day? That exhausted me," Sharpener halfheartedly laughed.

"Fine by me, you deserve it. Just go over with Gohan and Lime. You could be practiced meditation if want, but if you're too tired just rest," Tien reassured him.

He headed towards the two after nodding in response to Tien.

"I can't believe you actually challenged Tien," Gohan called out.

"He didn't do that badly either," Lime added.

"Are you kidding? I was no challenge," Sharpener returned.

"Well it is Tien. But I can tell that he was impressed with you; right Gohan?" Lime comforted him.

Gohan put his fist out for Sharpener, "Definitely! Tien was more than happy with your performance."

Sharpener fist bumped Gohan before sitting next to them, "That's reassuring to hear. I guess it's just expected for a World Champion to be that strong. And you seemed to match him Gohan," Sharpener examined the half Saiyan.

Gohan rattled remembering their talk yesterday. 'Man I think he hardly believes Mr. Satan defeated Cell now! Was that why he wanted to fight Tien?' He regathered himself, "Yea well don't forget my father was also a World Champion. I have gotten to train with both of them. All of our friends are great fighters. Even my master rivals my father's strength."

"Oh? You had a master who wasn't you're father?"

"Yeah, I was blessed with great people to train me," he smiled.

"Lucky you," Sharpener grinned, "Mind helping me mediate? You close your eyes right? Is it like sleeping then?"

"Not quite," Gohan chuckled, "I'll help you." Gohan proceeded to assist Sharpener mediate.

Lime rocked back and forth amused at Gohan trying to help him. 'It was going to be great school year!' She thought.

/\/\/\/\/\

With the school day over, the group left through the main doors of school. Sharpener rubbed his arm some more. Tien unquestionably got him good. While he was sore, he knew it was the right choice. He got to experience the fight of his life, even if he stood no chance.

"I can't believe you! What made you want to fight him?" Erasa questioned him.

He laughed, "You wouldn't understand. You're not a fighter."

"I just think you're a masochist," Videl grinned, "You're always asking for someone to beat you down."

"Hey, I only get to face third class fighters. I wanted to know how a real fight felt," he shot back at her.

"Please, if you can't even beat the 'third class fighters' you shouldn't take on a master. You looked like a fool," Videl responded.

"Says the one that almost broke her hand on a wall in front of the whole class," he smirked.

"Really? When did that happen?" Lime entered the discussion.

"Last week Videl tried to fight Tien," Erasa explained. Erasa leaned up to the girl, "And Tien made Miss Grumpy Pants angry. She almost hit the wall behind him when he dodged her punch, but he caught it for her."

Lime giggled. Too bad she missed that! That girl had some serious anger issues.

"Yea yea, I was unprepared for him I know. Still can mediate better than you!" She pointed out.

"It's hard! I have so much on my mind. And not moving itches my body!" Sharpener defended.

"What could you possibly have on your mind?" Videl curiously asked.

"Plenty! Like want I want to do after school, how great do I look right now, what homework do I have, what do I want for dinner, and plenty more." He explained as everyone laughed at his answer.

Gohan turned to Videl, "You seem much happier than usual. Something good happen?"

"Me?" Videl replied puzzled.

"RIGHT!?" Erasa jumped in, "It's weird! I think she's broken!"

Lime laughed more, "Hopefully no one fixes her then!"

Videl finally had the realization. 'That's why Erasa's been acting weird today. Is it really that odd that I'm joking around? I guess I've become so busy I haven't noticed how uptight I've become.' Videl thought. She was juggling a lot in her life: she was the daughter of the World Champion and Savior, she helped the police often, she maintained good grades, she trained to become the best fighter, and she always was wary of people around her. Her life had become so stressful, but to think that it was to this point: where her friends found it odd for her to act lightheartedly.

"But she still doesn't listen to me!" Erasa exclaimed. "If only she would, her life would be so much better."

"Ri-i-ight!" Videl sarcastically added.

"Well it good to see you happy," Gohan smiled.

"I wouldn't get used to it nerd. Trust me; I have had to deal with her for years." Sharpener noted.

Videl turned away from them annoyed. "Well I have things that need to be done. I'll see you guys tomorrow," she waved back at them. Red tinged her face. Gohan was extremely pissed at her yesterday. There was no way he'd be acting so nice to her the next day. She definitely deserved his ire. Why was he pretending to be nice to her today? Could he really let that go in just a day? She envisioned the look he held yesterday. He was extremely annoyed then. He sounded genuine though, but she still couldn't trust him. He was such an enigma: he gave her a headache.

The rest of the gang shared a few more moments together. Afterwards, they too all headed home for the day. As night approached, Gohan dreaded the day to come. Lime too was anxious; knowing how troublesome it could be.
