Not the same

"Season's Greetings, Potter." Severus looked over at the other professor as he stepped into the staff room.

"Merry Christmas, Snape." The green eyes locked onto the black holding a challenge in them.

Severus raised an eyebrow. "What's the difference?"

Harry crossed the room and answered as he tucked a stray lock behind Severus' ear. "Your's is just greeting me. Mine is wishing you happiness."

A small smile curled the thin lips and his fingers tangled with the ones now resting on his shoulder. "Merry Christmas, Harry."

He watched as Harry's face brightened and that made him feel merry.
