"I have a penis." Yao admitted bluntly, so bluntly that the white wine Francis was currently sipping when Yao spoke made him so surprised that he began to choke and gag on his drink as it went down the wrong pipe. Yao rolled his eyes at Francis and picked up his scotch, hissing as the burning liquid went down his throat; why did everyone have to make such a big deal out of everything?
Once Francis finally got over his, in Yao's opinion, over-dramatic coughing attack, he took out a embroidered handkerchief and wiped the left over liquid off his bottom lip, that handkerchief looked like something that asshole Mr. Kirkland was using once...in fact; that is the handkerchief he was using; odd. Yao decided to be nosy and pointed it out,
"Hey, isn't that Mr. Kirkland's handkerchief?" He saw Francis jumped at the question and become flustered with embarrassment,
"S-so what if it is!?" Yao quirked an eyebrow at Francis and laughed pathetically, he really hated his damn life right now. Once Francis put the handkerchief away, he put his wine glass down and turned towards Yao slowly, looking around suspiciously first before leaning in to him and whispering in his ear,
"You actually have a penis? I have always wanted to have sex with a hermaphrodite..how big are your breast?" It was Yao's turn to choke on his drink at the sudden, inappropriate question that came out of no where.
"W-What the hell is wrong with you!?" Yao's screeched and stood up, everyone in the bar turned around to look at him with confusion and amusement on their faces. Yao noticed the crowd that had accumulated around them and quickly sat back down before whispering harshly into Francis' ears,
"I am not a hermaphrodite, you freaky pervert!" Francis looked visibly disappointed as he frowned, before a look of realization took over,
"Wait...you're a man? Non, c'est impossible!" Yao gave him a blank stare and flicked him the bird, taking another swig of his strong drink and wincing at the taste.
"Believe it or not, but I am indeed a man. I've been posing as a woman so I could get and keep this damn job but I didn't know that I was going to fall in love in the process!" Francis gave him a look of sympathy but it was ignored as he continued to rant about the situation he was in.
"I-I mean, I didn't plan on finding a love interest here, I just thought that I'd be ignored and looked down on just like everywhere else I go but—but Ivan...h-he just had to be an asshole and make me fall hard for him..." Yao's voice was cracking and before he knew it, there were tears falling from his eyes again.
"Uh...I think you've had enough to drink for the day, mon ami-"
"Fuck off, cheesy bastard!" Yao ordered three more shots of scotch and chugged them down without a care in the world.
"He-he-hic!- is such an asshole! With his-his alluring purple eyes and big, cute nose and his thick accent. Sometimes he'd bring me sweets he brought from home and shared them with me and I brought him some of my Chinese snacks because they're really tasty..he likes those a lot. He's killing me with all these damn emotions! I haven't felt this way in a long time-"
"I know how it feels, Ya-"
"No you don't! How could you ever know!? You're always going around sleeping with anything with a pulse, you don't know what love is!" Even though Yao was drunk, he could tell he hit a bad spot when Francis frowned and looked down at his feet,
"But I do...she was the love of my life and I'll never forget her beautiful smile...she's dead now and I didn't know what to do with those feelings of loneliness, hell, I still don't know what to do with them. It's been about 4 years and I still haven't accepted the fact that she's gone. I just—I just needed a way to fill in this giant hole in my heart where her love used to be, that's why I do these things, Yao. So don't tell me I don't know what love is because I sure as hell do. Now are you going to continue to sit here and weep like this and continue to let Ivan believe your lies or are you going to go win his heart? By the way, it's okay to look for a shoulder to cry on, you don't have to feel like you're all on your own, okay? I may seem like a sex hungry pervert but I know when someone needs a hand."
His speech left Yao dry mouthed and speechless, he suddenly felt like the biggest douche bag on the planet and did something he never thought he'd ever do in his life; he let Francis pull him into a hug and sobbed violently on his shoulder, his crying was starting to get vocal and Francis quickly paid for their drinks and left the bar with Yao.
"Yao...I think you should tell not just Ivan, but everyone that you're a man-"
"No! Please don't make me do it, Francis!" Francis' grip on Yao's arm tightened and he glared at Yao,
"Yao; do it or else I'll tel-"
"Okay, okay! Can't I just have a little more time to-"
"Non, we will go find Ivan once we get back and you're going to 'spill the beans', D'accord?" Yao sighed and wiped the left over tears from his eyes and face then nodded, following behind Francis back to the airport.
(….)
Francis and Yao spied on Ivan as he swept the main lobbies floor with a deep frown on his face, his eyes were blood-shot so it was obvious he was shedding tears just like Yao was a few minutes ago. Francis looked down at Yao and shook his head in worry at Yao's rapidly shaking hands, young love was so complicated and yet beautiful.
"Okay, Yao. Now, approach him quietly and kindly tell him that you need to tell him and everyone else something in the employees lounge, I'll have everyone else that's working with us there in about two minutes, that should be enough time to convince him to come with you, okay?" Yao let out a quivering breath and nodded hesitantly, he was going to be a man about this and get it over with. Francis lightly shoved Yao out from behind the giant plant they were hiding behind and whispered a 'good luck!' before jogging away to go find their co-workers.
Yao sucked in a breath and let it out calmly before approaching Ivan with his shoulders back and head held high; this was it.
"I-Ivan.." The Russian man jumped at the sudden voice and whipped around to see Yao with a nervous but determined look on his face. He growled at him and opened his mouth to tell Yao to leave him alone but Yao interrupted him before he could,
"L-look! I-I know you don't want to talk to me right now but..but I'm going to come clean about my...'secret'. I need to tell everyone s-so I need you to come to the employees lounge with me, okay?"
Ivan shook his head, "Nyet, I do not wish to know anymore." Yao fiddled with his suit jacket, he was getting sweatier because of the nervousness.
"Ivan! Just—just come with me! After you know I promise I won't ever t-talk to you anymore. I'll leave you alone for good if that's what you truly want after this but I need to come clean and I can't do that if you're not there!"
"Fine! I'll go but don't expect me to be happy with you after it, okay!?" Yao let out a sigh of relief and nodded before gesturing Ivan over so they could go meet up with everyone.
The walk there was done in an uncomfortable silence until they reached their destination that was loud with the voices of their employees. Yao inhaled and exhaled deeply and opened the door to see his employees with worried expressions on their faces and Arthur's cruel smirk.
The room was dead silent as Yao walked over to the small stage in the middle of the room with wobbly legs.
"Uh, I-I know none of you know why you are here today but...I have a secret that needs to be known to everyone in this room, especially Ivan." His eyes flickered over to Ivan who was blushing slightly when he said his name before they looked out over everyone in the room.
"A-as you know, I've been working here with you guys for about nine months now and...and I've really enjoyed it. I never thought I'd meet such wonderful people here or even make the great friends that I have now today but...but I've been deceiving you all and I felt like it was the time to tell since I've already hurt the one I l-l-love." He stuttered out the love part but refused to look in Ivan's direction when he said it, knowing there was shock written all over his face.
Francis nodded at Yao to continue and shot him a reassuring smile with a thumbs up when he saw Yao's hesitation. Yao nodded back at him and finally told the truth,
"I—I am not a woman...I'm—I'm a man."
A series of surprised gasp followed after.

Don't worry, the next chapter will be up soon this time I swear because I've already started working on it since my computer kind of stopped being stupid.
IMPORTANT ANOUNCEMENT: I am no longer that interested in the Hetalia fandom anymore. Don't get me wrong, I still like it but I don't care for it as much as I used to and after I finish this and my other Hetalia fanfiction; I will no longer be writing for the Hetalia fandom((I think.)) Sad, I know but I've moved on to other things that have captured my interest and I hope you all can understand this!
See you guys, until next time! :)
