Leah and Terrance: Forbidden Love

Chapter 10

Author's notes: I'm so sorry for the long wait. My depression has really taken a toll on me and I find it a lot harder to write. My depression is that bad… But I'll try for all of you.

Leah, now home with the Cullen's, had easily adjusted back to the living arrangements. With her Octuplets things had become quite… tricky to say the least. The vampire family helped her out with everything though. It was hectic, to say the least.

With the Octuplets and Nessie they had a full house. Rosalie, Alice, Esme, and Bella were all eager to lend a hand to help her with the kids. The boys even helped out sometimes.

Adrian, Carlos, Henry, William, Lily, Isabelle, Sophie, and Maya were growing bigger every day. On top of that Alice, was going crazy planning Leah's wedding. Leah had given her control of everything.

Leah had already called Seth and told him everything.

"Leah," her younger brother said hesitantly. "There's something I have to tell you."

"What is it?" she asked curiously.

"They know," He said. "The pack knows about you and Terrance."

Leah felt her heart drop. "What?" She managed to say.

"Jacob was apparently thinking about it in wolf form." Seth explained. "Sam is not happy."

"Thanks for letting me know." Leah said through a tight voice. "I'll call you back." She was about to hang up when a thought occurred to her. "You're coming to the wedding right?"

"Of course. I wouldn't miss it for anything."

"But what about the pack?"

"Screw them." Seth responded. "I'm happy for you Leah."

"Thanks Seth." She hung up the phone and quickly called all of the Cullen's to the living room for a family meeting.

They all gathered in the living room. Leah started hyperventilating thinking about her conversation with her younger brother.

"Leah, love." Terrance said. "Calm down, and tell us what's wrong."

Leah took a few deep breaths and managed to calm herself. "The pack knows about you and me Terrance."

"How did they find out?" Rosalie demanded.

"Jacob thought about it in wolf form." She said tightly. "What are we going to do Terrance?"

"Don't worry, that dog," Terrance spat, "Isn't going to stop me from marrying you." She could tell that Terrance was furious.

"What about the children?" Edward asked.

"He doesn't know about them." The Quileute girl told them. "At least not yet."

Terrance pulled Leah to the couch. They sat together with Terrance rubbing her back soothingly.

"What about the kids?" Leah asked. "I need to check on them."

"Don't worry about them Leah." Esme said, "Alice, Rosalie, Bella and I will keep an eye on them. You just relax."

Leah nodded in assent and the four female vampires went to care for her children. Leah laid her head on her fiancés lap while he ran his fingers gently though her long hair. It was not waist length and somewhat curly like before any of this had happened.

Her wedding date was only a month away now. She wish it would hurry up and arrive. Then she could marry the love of her life and finally have her happily ever after. She didn't care what the laws of vampires of the tribe said. She loved Terrance and she was going to marry him. No one was going to keep her away from her soul mate.

At the same time, there was the pack to worry about. They knew that she was engaged to a vampire, a Cullen at that. And from what her brother, Seth, had told her. Sam, the alpha pf their pack, was very upset. Who's to say that he wouldn't try to take her away from the Cullen's? Her planned wedding and marriage to a vampire was against all of their own laws, and the vampire ones as well.

If the Voltouri found out about the wedding… What would happen then? If Sam hadn't already told the Elders of her wedding, he would soon. No doubt about that. But they couldn't stop her from marrying him. She wouldn't let them tear her apart from her fiancé. If they tried, she would go down fighting them.

"Jacob." Jasper stated coldly when he answered the door.

"Jasper." Jacob said with equal coldness. "Where's Leah?"

"That's none of your concern."

"It's fine Jasper." The mentioned girl appeared behind him. "We need to talk anyway."

Jasper went into the next room and Leah and Jacob stood facing each other.

"Leah,"

"Don't Jacob, Just please don't." Leah said with a pleading tone. "I love him. I really do. If you're here to just lecture me or try to convince me to leave Terrance, then you can go right now. I don't want to hear any of it."

"Leah, why him?" Jacob said. "There are plenty of other werewolves, or even human guys that you could be with. Why him?"

"Because, he's my imprint. Because he doesn't care that I'm a werewolf. He understands me more than any of you ever did. He knows me. He knows that my favorite color is green. He knows that I love moonlit walks. He knows that I love nature and animals. He knows about my want to be a mother. He gets me. Which is more than I can say for any of the members of the pack."

"He's a vampire, Leah. You're a werewolf."

"What does that matter? Bella was human and Edward was a vampire. They made it work."

"Leah, he can't give you kids. He's not a living creature." Jacob protested.

"He's my fiancé. You can both accept it and be happy for me or you can leave." She said in a hardened voice. "Besides, I don't need children to make me happy. All I need is him, Seth, and the rest of the Cullen's to make my life complete. And I already have the Octuplets."

"You can't honestly love him." Jacob said in disbelief.

She turned and he saw the fierce passion in her eyes. He saw the love that was there when she mentioned the Cullen's and When she talked about her brother. When she mentioned her fiancés name she lit up with happiness.

"I love him, just like you loved Bella, and like how you now love Nessie." Leah said. "Can't you at least try to be happy for me?"

Jacob thought for a minute before answering. "Okay," he said finally.

"Okay?" Leah said, confusion colored her voice.

"I'll try to accept this. You obviously love him very much." The male werewolf replied. "Screw traditions. Rules were meant to be broken. I know that more than anyone." He glanced at the half-breed, his imprint Renesmee.

"Thanks Jake." Leah said softly giving him a hug. "It means a lot to me."

"It's the least I can do." He told her. "After everything we put you though." Jacob turned to leave the house. His hand paused as he was about to reach the doorknob. "I hope you'll be happy Leah."

"I already am, Jacob." Leah smiled at him. "I'm finally home."

Author's notes: Sorry again for the long wait. I hope this chapter doesn't suck too badly.
