Days Without Incident: 1

Bruce trembled under the covers of the overly plush bed. He was suffering from post-hulk and it was really hard to fall asleep, even when he was as exhausted as he was. He turned inwards and curled himself as small as he could go, trying to stifle the shakes as much as possible and not wake the man beside himself.

Tony Stark had asked him to live in Stark Tower, and Bruce had weighted the pros and cons, and decided that there were no reasons not to take Tony up on his offer. It was nice to have a home again and not be on the run all the time. Bruce didn't notice Tony's advances on him at first, he was sure Tony was with Pepper, but it was hard not to notice when Tony first kissed him. Ever since then, Tony was inseparable from Bruce and Bruce from him. Soon enough, Bruce moved into the penthouse and into Tony's life.

Bruce was still shaking, the Hulk still itching from resent smashing. All he wanted to do was get some sleep, he was so tired. Tony moved to face the middle towards Bruce. He looked so peaceful as he slept. His face was smooth and line less and looked five years younger. He eyes slowly flickered open.

"Bruce, you alright?" Tony sat up on his elbow and moved closer to Bruce, putting an arm over him. Bruce only shivered underneath him.

"Side effect of the other guy. I'll be alright. Sorry I woke you."

"Don't be sorry. I just wish you would have woken me so you didn't have to deal with it yourself," Tony leaned over, pushed Bruce's hair away and kissed his forehead.

"Tony…" Bruce blushed lightly in the low blue light coming off of the Arc Reactor. Bruce still wasn't used to physical contact in any amount, and Tony liked pushing his starving body and his control. It drove Bruce crazy.

Tony pulled the shaking Bruce onto his chest and wrapped his arms around him, one hand running through his hair. Bruce inhaled deeply catching the sent Tony's expensive cologne and exhaled causing him to relax for the first time in hours. Tony kissed the top of his head and smiled to himself.

Bruce zoned. He could barely leave his eyes open as Tony caressed his hair. He was completely at ease, something he hadn't felt since the other guy came about. If only he could stay like this. Stay himself without the other guy, here, in Tony's arms.
