Author's Note: Long time no see? Thanks to all the new additions to the fans, and I am so sorry for the ridiculous wait for this, life's picking up over here and I can't run very fast so I'm falling behind on some things. [like this story] See ya at the bottom of the chapter!
Kitty was pretty strong from all of the dancing and the cheerios and seemingly deathly work-out routines that Coach Sylvester had her on, but she never thought she'd be grateful for all of those muscle burning push-ups and laps. Yet here she was, all but carrying a girl that was at least a head taller than her, and could barely keep herself standing. Thank god for the glutes. Kitty thought as she tried to get Marley up the steps to the shorter girl's house.
After the kiss, the wonderful kiss, as Kitty would put it, Marley didn't really feel up to staying home alone while her mother was oblivious to what had just taken place with Jake, and she didn't really want to explain it all right now. Basically, Marley felt drained and tired. So tired actually, that she could barely walk on her own.
"C'mon Mar, just like, three more steps and we're inside." Kitty encouraged, shifting the bag of overnight clothes she'd swiftly packed for Marley from one shoulder to the other to give her a better grip on the girl herself.
Marley sighed and nodded, pausing after a step to narrowly look at Kitty. "Your room is on the second floor though."
Kitty shrugged and tugged Marley forward. "I said till we're inside, not till we're done."
Marley rolled her eyes and continued up the steps, a sudden burst in energy at the thought of being alone with Kitty in her room again. I mean, after the last time she was in there... Well, past experiences would suggest it'd be a pretty nice time. Though maybe not with much sleeping.
"Whoa there girl," Kitty said when Marley hopped up the last steps and waited at the door impatiently. "Don't hurt yourself."
"Very funny, Kitty." Marley said with a poorly concealed smile. "Hurry up, I wanna get to bed."
Kitty quirked an eyebrow and smirked cheekily. "To sleep right?" She challenged as she stuck her key in the lock and twisted.
"Right." Marley said with a nod, avoiding Kitty eyes in favour of stepping past the smaller girl to enter the house.
Kitty chewed on her bottom lip as she let her eyes roam over the girl in front of her as she bounded up the stairs. Shutting the front door with her butt and absentmindedly turning the lock Kitty followed as quickly as she could behind Marley. When your girlfriend is excited to get into bed with you after having got nothing for over a week? Yeah, you hurry.
When Kitty got to her bedroom she stifled a laugh at Marley, who'd planted herself face first into the plush covers of the other girls bed. "Comfy?" Kitty asked, dropping the overnight bag as she climbed onto the bed beside Marley's unmoving form.
Marley just grunted out in response, refusing to move her head from where it lay immersed in soft blankets.
"I missed you y'know." Kitty said softly, eyes staying locked on the dark brown locks that lay sprawled out over her bed. A spark of something lit up Kitty's eyes as she thought of a way to get Marley's tired attention.
What does Marley love as much as Kitty? Singing. So odds are she really loves a singing Kitty.
"I miss the sound of your voice,
And I miss the rush of your skin,
And I miss the still of the silence,
As you breathe out and I breathe in," Kitty's voice broke over Marley's ears in a wave of emotion and melody and Marley couldn't stop herself from sitting up and staring.
"If I could walk on water,
If I could tell you what's next,

I'd make you forget," Marley smiled widely as she watched Kitty sing, her hazel eyes shined in a way Marley had never seen before, and she wasn't sure if it was because of the girl's emotion behind the song, or the actual words of the song that made her look so stunning. But then again wasn't she always stunning?
Marley's smile turned into a grin and she came to the realization that Kitty was singing something Marley normally would, so why couldn't Marley sing something Kitty would?
"Here we go again,
I kinda wanna be more than friends,
So take it easy on me,
I'm afraid,
You're never satisfied," Kitty's eyes widened in surprise, Marley was singing something different, but far be it from Kitty to stop such an amazing voice, and who knows? Maybe a mash-up was what they needed, after all weren't they kind of like a mash-up?

We play pretend,
You're just a cannibal,
And I'm afraid,
I won't get out alive,
No, I won't sleep tonight," Kitty climbed a little closer to Marley, watching her sing intently before she jumped in with the chorus of her song.

And drown me in love," Marley let her hands link with Kitty's and smiled softly. It was kind of unusual for such a soft and loving song to come from Kitty, and Marley wasn't going to waste a second of what she knew to be the first time Kitty had ever sung to someone like this.

What are you waiting for?
Take a bite of my heart tonight," Kitty chewed on her bottom lip, she could barely control herself when Marley sang to her like that. What was she waiting for again? Oh yeah, she's singing.

And drown me in love," Your turn. Kitty thought as she waited patiently for the other girl's half, they made a pretty good mix, and so did the songs.

Say goodbye to my heart tonight." Marley was loving this, a duet between her and Kitty with songs that played their opposites?

I wanna run and hide." It could get pretty heavy sometimes, but Marley doubted she'd ever try and run again, not when the alternative to this was so, bland and sad. She didn't think she'd ever be able to make it without Kitty.

Kitty leaned forward and pressed her lips to Marley's cheek, ghosting over her chin as she made her way to the other girl's neck. When my part's are done I can have some fun with Marley. Kitty was starting to love this duet thing.

The animal inside of you," Marley's hands detached themselves from Kitty and threaded through the blonde locks, untying the ponytail in their search for a grip. You really are killing me here...

Say goodbye to my heart tonight." Kitty grinned to herself when she heard Marley's breath hitch on the word 'tonight'. What some teeth and a soft spot can do...

Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on," As soon as Kitty's mouth moved away from her skin to start singing Marley dove for her chance for payback, kissing over Kitty's shoulder and collar bone, letting her tongue snake out with the word 'sparks' and revelling in how hard Kitty was trying to keep her voice in pitch.
Kitty started tugging at Marley's shirt, grasping at the fabric almost desperately in her search for more skin to kiss. Marley smiled and pushed Kitty's hands away, letting her own fingers pull up the Cheerios top Kitty still wore.
"Hush, hush, the world is quiet,
Hush, hush, we both can't fight it,
It's us that made this mess,
Why can't you understand?
Whoa, I won't sleep tonight,
I won't sleep tonight." Kitty growled softly at the words, pushing Marley's shoulders down as she straddled the girl's waist, pulling her shirt off quickly.

And drown me in love," Marley licked her lips and pulled Kitty down so she could feel her skin against skin, it'd been far too long.

And drown me, drown me in love," Kitty dug her hands beneath Marley to clasp feverishly at the clip to Marley's bra. Stupid fucking... A-hah!
Marley arched her back forward to let Kitty drag the bra away, shivering slightly at the cold air and the way Kitty looked down hungrily at her.
"Here we go again," Kitty dove down and pressed soft little kisses across Marley's chest, never touching her completely how she wanted.

What are you waiting?" Marley gasped out the final line, having Kitty tease her through the entire chorus only to finally have the girl give her what she wanted, her pink lips enveloping the hardened nub of Marley's nipple and sucking softly.
Only to be denied that small pleasure when Kitty moved away to continue singing. "It's all wrong, it's all wrong,"
Marley tugged at Kitty's head, trying to her get lips to return to her but with no luck. "Here we go again, oh, oh,"
Kitty smiled widely and leant down to Marley's ear, whispering softly, "It's all wrong, it's so right,"
Marley groaned softly and bucked her hips up desperately, singing her song in a last ditch attempt to get Kitty to kiss her. "Say goodbye to my heart tonight,"
"So come on, get higher," Kitty ground her hips down into Marley, smiling at the response the girl gave, that being gasping softly and closing her eyes tightly.
"Oh oh, I want some more, Oh oh," Marley's breath was wispy and shaking, not at all singing anymore so much as moaning gently.
"So come on and get higher," Kitty continued to move her hips, her lips now ghosting over Marley's ear, her teeth nibbling softly between words.
"What are you waiting for?" Marley gasped, pressing her hips up and moving her hands down to grasp at Kitty's skirt clad hips.
"'Cause everything works, love," Kitty was practically purring in her ear now, the blonde's hands clenching the bed sheets tightly beside Marley's head.
"What are you waiting for?" Marley felt like she was begging, and wasn't she? She was begging Kitty to take her already, the song thing had been a nice idea at the time, but now all she wanted was for Kitty's mouth to be busy doing other things.
"Everything works in your arms. Say goodbye to my heart tonight." Their voices melded together just at the end, and with the final note still ringing softly in their ears Kitty leaned down ever so slightly from where she'd been looking into those bright blue eyes that started it all, and kissed Marley just as gently as she had the first time.
Hello again, sorry this is so short, basically, I wanted to get something up as soon as I could, but I didn't know where to go with this, I mean, there's the obvious choice of smut, but I think the parallels of 'those bright blue eyes' and 'as she had the first time' are a pretty good ending. As in, ending ending, over over. C'est fini. Now if/when you guys get upset about it ending so suddenly, theres a way to fix that, you can send me ideas of why or how to keep it going, because honestly I can't think of anything that wouldn't drag it out exhaustingly. So, if you've got an idea lemme know, but until/unless I find a reason or way to continue, this story is done. Hope you enjoyed it, and please don't hate me.
