Author's Notes: Well it took a bit less than a year to get another short chapter out. There seems to be a pattern developing. I'm sorry it took so long again, but writing needs time and an ability to focus. I have one, but not the other.

I'm not the happiest with this chapter, it's pretty much a filler chapter. Maybe some plot will end up in the next chapter.

If you squint hard enough there are definitely some Stoki slipping into my writing (My new favourite Avengers pairing), but to reassure you it won't develop into anything.

Disclaimer: I do not own Avengers or any of the characters

Loki was enjoying the pizza and the avengers reactions. He managed to finish the piece he snatched, but he certainly overestimated how much food his currently small sized stomach could take. The belly ache was well worth it though, just to see the avengers argue and then try to cut around the pawprinted areas of pizza impatiently while they waited for the second order to arrive.

While he watched Clint and Stark argue (There little family of heroes constantly proved itself to be dysfunctional.) one Avenger managed to grab his paw.

Loki let a hiss build in his throat until he saw what Captain America was doing. "It's alright Lopt; I'm just wiping sauce off your paws," the human said in a soft reassuring tone, one that Loki had heard many times on Midgard when humans would coo to their purse dogs. The American hero had a damp napkin and was wiping the grease from his paws. Loki let the fur around his neck flatten as he let the human continue without a scratch because at this point the Avenger was pretty much serving as the cat's servant.

The super-soldier's hands gently pressed extending the felines claws to get the sauce stuck in between; it wasn't a amazing feeling, but Loki let a purr rumble in his throat loud enough that Tony heard and sent Rodger's a jealous glare.

His paws still has traces of grease, but the soldier seemed to feel as if he had enough of it off because he went on his way to help the other avengers clean up the pizza pawprints.

Loki left the room soon after the attention went away from him; the heroes could enjoy their second pizza while he explored. (He wasn't gaining as much information as he could be from the Avengers constant squabbling.)

Walking on all fours was different, but the godly cat was used to being in other forms, though he kept his head high and his body postured as his princely upbringing taught him too.

The tower was as large as if looked from the outside; the hallways were long and there were great many that connected with each other making the place a maze. Most the the doors were closed prohibiting Loki from entering, (The curse of no thumbs.) so Loki just examined the layout and which areas each of the Avengers often frequented. (A animal's nose was quite useful at detecting that.)

They frequented rooms that seemed to hold the function of sleeping, he went past the two closed doors that carried a repulsively strong scent of the captain and Thor. The hallway in which the two were placed lacked the presence of any of the technologies, such as a height travelling box (Loki believed it was called an el-u-vater.) or any blinking lights from boxes Loki did not know the function of in which Loki noticed in the other halls. Their doors were shut from Loki's curious eyes, but he marked down their location in his head.

At the end of this hallway a familiar sight greeted him; it was the room in which the mortal offered him a drink and threatened him.

He gave a Cheshire grin that showed off his needle like teeth; he looked like a little demon more than a cat at that moment.

There was no broken glass or scuffs, it was just like that day, before the fight started, except one thing. Loki's green eyes settled on a little golden plaque that sat in the middle of a window.

Loki moved to it and stretched out his body as far as he could in order so he may read the sign.

'This is where Tony Stark was thrown out of a window by a crazy god with ridiculous horns.'

Loki gave a little purr of laughter, the human was certainly amusing. The green eyed feline wondered if the hole that his body left in the floor by the green beast still remained as a trophy as well. His eyes moved from the plaque to the scenery; Stark's tower was high enough to see almost the whole city. The humans looked like little ants walking on sidewalks to their destinations. It was chaos, the people has no order in where they went or where they were going they just walked forced their way through when others stood in their way. The cars drove in a organized manner though, but Loki understood it was that way since the roads were marked and the mortals valued their short lives.

Loki did not know how long he stared out the window, he just knew it was long enough for the sky to begin to darken and for one of the Avengers to arrive to bother him.

"Little beast! Jarvis has informed me you are here!" It the idiot once again. Loki was tempted to run away before blue eyes set upon him, but what would a advantage would a chase give him? "There you are little beast!" The blond walked up to him and patted him with a heavy hand; Loki gave a quiet hiss in response. "The items in which my friends identified as what a 'cat' needs has arrived, let me take you to them my friend!" This peaked Loki's curiosity; he knew that Midgardian's beasts were treated differently for each species, he wondered what the mortal believed that cats wanted. Probably something like ridiculous clothing (Like what Loki had seen on purse dogs) and smaller scale human objects.

Seeing that Loki's claws remained sheathed and his fur remained smooth Thor picked up the cat once again, taking him down to a lower floor by the stairs.

It was a horrid trip, every step down a stair left either Loki being squished or getting a jostle. Needless to say the brute earned a couple more scratches for the collection on his arms by the time they reached the ground floor of Stark tower.

What greeted Loki was piles of colourful bags, wrapped objects and boxes. They were being brought in by a group of unfamiliar people who seemed to be awestruck by where they were.

"Could you guys bring it to the fourth floor for us?" Stark was addressing the strangers who seems to be getting more and more excited by the moment especially since Thor walked in.

The delivery people were too starstruck to answer Stark. "Sir? Do you think we could get autographs?" One, a young man squeaked out a question. He had only eyes for Stark; Loki observed, it was rather pathetic at how much these humans worshiped heroes.

"Yeah sure," Tony replied with a grin while his ego grew. "I'll have to grab a pen while you guys are putting the boxes on the fourth floor." The human directed the other humans to the elevator with each burdened with a box. Their attention slipped once they saw the blond buffoon and Loki.

"Is that the kitty you need all the stuff for?" One female remarked.

"Yeah, Thor just had to have it," Stark seemed not to enjoy the fact the attention was focused on something other that him by the frown forming on his face.

"He's so cute!" The autograph-asker cooed in Loki's direction and the rest of the group stared at the green eyed shape-shifter with adoring eyes. At seeing Stark's less than ecstatic expression Loki turned up the cuteness by stopping squirming and giving a soft meow causing all the delivery people to awe.

"The sooner the boxes are brought up the sooner your get your autographs and tips!" This seemed to bring the delivery team out of their trance by the frenzied way they each grabbed a box and lined up to be directed by the hero. Stark said a few words to Jarvis and the elevator opened letting him and the excited workers in. The doors shut and they were out of sight; it was now just Thor and Loki.

"Little beast, soon you will have a home fit for a creature such as you!" Thor's words were accompanied by a rough scratch around the ears. "Friend Barton spoke of you also getting a feast worthy of a 'cat' like yo-" The main door to Stark towers opened revealing a very familiar redhead.

"Thor? Is that a cat?" Loki was squirming in Thor's arms making it impossible for eyes to pass over his moving feline shape.

"Yes it is my lady," the blonde oaf answered.

"Is there now a cat living in the tower?"

"Yes, I owe the little beast from his actions in battle." Loki stopped wriggling to focus on listening in on the conversation.

"Did Tony succumb to your puppy dog eyes?" Pepper placed her hand over her eyes in frustration. "He knows I'm allergic. Where is he Thor?"

"He is on one of the upper levels creating a place in which Lopt could live." The shapeshifter's ear gave a little twitch at mention of his name and Pepper noticed by the way her eyes settling on Loki's green eyes.

"You are pretty cute." Humans really seemed to like cats; they were fascinating, but humans seemed to find them even more precious than their own offspring by the way so many stopped everything to look at and coo at moving pictures of them. Pepper gave a sigh of resignation because turning her attention away from Loki's unblinking eyes. "I suppose I could just take some benadryl."
